This episode kicks off a series of episodes where I will be making my way through the DCAU comics series, from the first issue of Batman Adventures to the final issue of Justice League Unlimited. This time out, see Penguin purposely act out of character, witness Catwoman attempt to cause an international incident, watch as Joker unmasks Batman, listen to the tale of an illiterate Gotham, and check out Bruce Wayne being accused of murder!

And while the 2 original anime series are now distance memories in Japan, Voltron has returned to television and comics again and again, proving that there really is no stopping Voltron. Join me as I look at the history of Voltron, from an anime licensing expo in France in the early 80s to the current hit series airing on Netflix.

Voltron is one of my absolute favorites, so I really put a lot of work into this one. Hope you enjoy!

For the first part, check out episode 76 of Superman in the Bronze Age, where I watched the Theatrical Release of Superman: The Movie with Andy and Micheal Leyland. In this episode, I watch the Richard Donner cut of Superman II, a different take on the more familiar theatrical release.

It is June 2013, which means that a new movie is about to be released starring a certain Man of Steel. In honor of that, this month will be a commentary month where we watch all 4 Christopher Reeve Superman movies, crossing over with my other show, Charlie’s Geekcast, to ensure we get all 4 watched this month. And joining me to watch Superman: The Movie are none other and Andrew and Micheal Leyland of Hey Kids! Comics (plus Andrew also hosts Palace of Glittering Delights and The Amazing Spider-Man From the Beginning), with some extra feedback from the rest of the clan McLeyland (except for Adam, who is too cool for such a thing).
