Seattle, WA: Green Ronin is proud to announce that it will publish an English language edition of the Japanese RPG Nobunaga’s Black Castle by designer Yusuke Tokita. Licensed from publisher CONOS, Nobunaga’s Black Castle is the Sengoku Doom Metal Fantasy RPG that takes you to Hell and back.

Sengoku Jidai, the Warring States Period of Japanese history, was a turbulent time of chaos and civil wars. Oda Nobunaga was a ruthless and successful warlord who is considered the first of the great unifiers of Japan. At the height of his power, Nobunaga was betrayed and forced to commit seppuku at Honnō-ji Temple. Or so history teaches us.

In Nobunaga’s Black Castle, he survived and continued to conquer. He became the true Sixth Heaven Demon King, summoned hordes of demons, and the world burned.

As a Player Character in Nobunaga’s Black Castle, you are already dead. Nobunaga killed you and sent you to Hell. But your heart burned for vengeance, burned so hot that now you are back in this world. You have one overpowering desire: kill Oda Nobunaga!
