Calling all ice queens and Frozen fanatics! If you've been waiting to live out your Elsa fantasies IRL (or at least for the Insta), we suggest you stick around Bryant Park for the ideal photo op. This weekend marks the start of the annual Winter Carnival, a free, open-to-the-public series of programs celebrating the season. From ice skating and performances to a silent disco and Live Band Karaoke, this sprawling outdoor space is truly a one-stop-shop when it comes to heating up these chilly nights.

While the schedule is full of fun events through February 4th, the main attraction is most definitely the 3rd iteration of the EverBlock "Ice" Castle, a life-size, neon-lit structure made of giant, Lego-like EverBlocks. Each year the construction has only gotten more and more ambitious, so this time we're expecting a truly impressive palace fit for a Disney Princess. Sure, it technically has no roof or insulation, but the cold never bothered us anyway - especially if it means getting an amazing 'gram.

The Plaza Hotel has always been a playground for the rich, famous, and blue blooded. Hosting everyone (and everything) from F. Scott and Zelda, to The Beatles, to Truman Capote's legendary Black and White Ball, our favorite uptown jaunt has seen it all. A glamorous throwback to NYC's gilded past, The Plaza has nevertheless remained a favorite of the social set looking to enjoy the finer things. Luckily for us, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a day at this Manhattan must.

This June 1st to June 3rd marks the 8th annual weekend when New Yorkers pretend they have their own Coachella. Not gonna lie though, when you're rocking out on Randall's Island, it does kind of feel that way.

While the Governors Ball artist bill (featuring, spoiler alert, some major throwback faves) was released at the beginning of the month, the full, day-by-day lineup is finally here - meaning you can plan your weekend and get ahold of those coveted wristbands.

Some notable headliners? Friday: Jack White and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (#tbt your emo days in middle school). Saturday: Travis Scott and Halsey (OK, relevant). Sunday: EMINEM (once again, #tbt to your emo days, but like, rap). Check the full list below!

So many royal weddings, so little time.

With everyone's favorite ginger Prince newly engaged, it only makes sense that everyones favorite ginger Princess follow suite.

Princess Eugenie's long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank popped the question earlier this month while the two were on holiday in Nicaragua. With their wedding date currently unknown, we can however reveal that the couple's venue will be St George's Chapel in Windsor - the same church at which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed this spring.

All in all, jolly good news and all the happiness to Eugenie! Not that she'll need any well wishes - look at that ring!

A year after protesting the inauguration of Donald Trump, hundreds of thousands of women and their allies once again took to the streets for the second (annual?) Women's March. Across the country (and the world!), feminists made their voices heard; in New York City alone, over 200,000 people rallied, many of whom, of course, making statements with their signs. No doubt inspired by the trending - and uniting - hashtags of the year, the messages were fiercer and more powerful than ever. Click through for the ones that stood out.

Tracee Ellis Ross's SAG Awards Joke Actually Made An Important Point About Feminism

While the SAG Awards red carpet was noticeably devoid of any fashion protests, Hollywood's Time's Up initiative remained at the forefront of the ceremony. Besides having Kristen Bell as the show's first-ever host, the evening featured an all-female bill of presenters and the famous "I Am An Actor" introduction only highlighted leading ladies, including Allison Janney, Millie Bobby Brown, and the inimitable Tracee Ellis Ross.

Ross, who's been a comedic force for decades, naturally cracked a joke during her moving monologue. Surely it lightened the mood, but it also hit upon an important point when it comes to feminism - and any sort of social activism in general.

"When I was a little girl, I dreamt of growing up and being a courageous woman who could use my voice for important issues that affect all of us...and have a lot of shoes. I am happy to report that both are true. I utilize my agency and my voice for equity and justice in our industry and beyond, and I have so many shoes. Like, I have a lot of shoes. I am Tracee Ellis Ross, and I am an actor."

The shoe bit got a lot of laughs (we're sure her cheeky delivery didn't hurt), but let's consider her statement in a more serious light. At a time when such significant social change is at hand, everything outside of a movement gets criticized as trivial. Not to mention an overarching dismissal of traditionally "feminine" interests like shopping.

Can you be a feminist and love fashion? Should you feel guilty about it? According to Ross, and many other vocal, well-heeled women around the world, no, you shouldn't. If you're a forward thinker when it comes to social justice and politics, why can't you be fashion forward as well? After all, feeling your best in this uneasy climate is an act of feminism in itself - if a new pair of shoes helps you accomplish that, go right ahead and get 'em.

Mar-a-Lago's Traumatizing Caviar Scandal

When you pay upwards of $200,000 for a membership at Donald Trump's private Palm Beach oasis (plus $14K in annual fees), you would likely expect a little decorum. Then again, this is spouter-of-lies Donald Trump we're talking about. It's no surprise things aren't quite what they seem at the "luxurious" Winter White House.

On Saturday evening, a guest at the Mar-a-Lago restaurant shared a harrowing tale of caviar gone wrong. Instagram user @vacayinbae posted shots of her "high-end" meal that turned out to be the Fyre Festival of dinners.

Upon ordering the caviar, this diner was shocked and appalled to find that it was served with ...you may want to sit down... PLASTIC SPOONS. Everyone knows you can only scoop this salty delicacy with mother of pearl. Honestly, now.

Besides the utensil debacle, Ms. Vacay in Bae also captured the "disgraceful" caviar accompaniments - a few sad biscuits that looked less Ritz-Carlton and more Ritz Cracker. We feel faint just thinking about it.

Now, while this isn't the first time Mar-a-Lago has attempted to poison guests (last year they were hit with 13 health code violations), we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and blame this terrible faux pas on the fact that Trump's $100,000-a-ticket anniversary gala was being held there on the same night. Perhaps all the mother of pearl spoons were needed in that room?

Freehand: The Buzziest New Hotel In New York

Miami travelers may already be familiar with Freehand Hotels, as their South Beach location boasts an award-winning tiki bar along with a consistent crowd of hip, young guests. Now, finally, New Yorkers can get in on the action.

The Freehand New York has officially debuted in the Flatiron District, taking over a space that was formerly the George Washington Hotel. While the building dates back to 1928, the interiors (designed by Roman and Williams, naturally) have been given a modern, luxurious twist. Nevertheless, a room here won't destroy your wallet. Special rates for solo stays start at $99 a night, while bunk bed-boasting rooms make it easy (and affordable) to book with a group.

Now, sure, the rooms are all well and good, but we know what locals are looking forward to when it comes to a new hotel. How are the dining and drinking options?

Um, pretty freakin' epic. Gabriel Stulman, the restaurateur behind NYC favorites Joseph Leonard, Bar Sardine, and Fedora, has taken the helm at three of the hotel's public spaces. First, there's Studio, an all-day cafe and restaurant serving up American dishes with Middle Eastern and North African accents. That's on the mezzanine.

Then there's the George Washington Bar, a self-proclaimed "classic inspired cocktail bar that's not too serious about its history." Set inside the library room of the former hotel, it's a dark, wood paneled watering hole perfect for what feels like a high-end nightcap.

And wait, there's more! Simon & the Whale, another full-service eatery, will be opening soon, as well as a Smile-To-Go location, and, come summertime, a rooftop outpost of Miami's famous Broken Shaker. We're already dreading the hangovers.

Click through for an inside look at everything this buzzy hot spot has to offer!
