“My outfit for Helsinki Pride was inspired by the trans flag. Key pieces in my outfit are my Cinnamoroll bag (secondhand), trans flag top (secondhand), crochet heart skirt (handmade by me), and my strawberry beanie (secondhand). I get inspiration from dolls such as Monster High and Bratz, shows like Winx or Sailor Moon, and all the cool people I see online & irl. I often use layering to make my outfits more interesting. I love using fashion to express myself.“

“The top was originally a mini dress but I cut off the bottom half. The loafers are a bit too big so I always have to wear thick sports socks with them. Everything is secondhand except for the socks, which are from the grocery store next to my home. I’m inspired by 80s streetwear, 90s sportswear, 50s feminine fashion, old-school mafiosos, pin-up girls, witches, punks and goths, biker gangs, and Slavic grandmothers.”

“Most of what I’m wearing is from various stores in Japan, as I did an exchange semester there for 6 months. My necklace is from my late grandmother and I also buy a lot of my clothes on Vinted. My style is inspired by my mood, different aesthetics, J- fashion and different fashion eras. I don’t like to stick to one specific style and prefer mixing things up and trying different looks.”

”I’m wearing vintage leather boots, my favorite dress with beautiful lace details, cross earrings from Vinted I wear almost daily, choker necklace from a local second hand store, and most importantly a white rosary necklace from the Vatican. “Most of the clothes and accessories are thrifted, with the exception of two armcuffs, one is from Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, and the other is self made from wire. My clogs are also new, they became an important part of this fit due to a recent foot injury - I wouldn’t have it any other way. We are of course rocking a few Pride pins and a genderfluid flag as well. When seasons change so does my style, but my main goal stays the same: be as funky as you can.”

“In this pic I have on my very own leather punk vest. I made most of the patches on it by cutting up my dad’s old shirt. Then I have on a bra that I sewed some spikes on to and shorts that I cut from old jeans and painted some UK flags on the back pockets. I also have on a thrifted dog collar and some chain from the hardware store. My boots are some pretty broken and dirty faux leather platforms. Originally I was inspired by the pretty non-existent punk scene of where I come from, but now days I only take inspiration of myself.”
