Most notably, this trailer is the first to feature Robert Downey, Jr.'s Doctor Doom, along with a host of X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four characters.

Marvel likely isn't releasing the trailer online just yet, but IGN was in the room and we can break down the footage.

The trailer opens with a shot of the Xavier Institute sign. The narration (presumably Downey as Doom) says, "Something is coming, something we might not be able to deter. Before this day is done, we shall divest with an unthinkable decision." Patrick Stewart's Xavier sees a bright light in the sky. We see Doom in profile.

Then we see Avengers Tower, though looking very different from normal. We see the Fantastic Four meeting with the Avengers and Thunderbolts and Letitia Wright's Shuri meeting with Tenoch Huerta's Namor. James Marsden's Cyclops walks into a room. Chris Hemsworth's Thor says he's fought with many allies who all died facing threats that scare him far less than this new one.

Simu Liu's Shang-Chi fights Channing Tatum's Gambit in the X-Mansion. The Wakandans meet with the FF. Rebecca Romijn's Mystique transforms into Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova. We see Joseph Quinn's Johnny Storm holding Vanessa Kirby's Sue and Namor flying. Paul Rudd's Ant-Man kisses his daughter, Kathryn Newton's Cassie, on the forehead (the first confirmation she's in the film). Thor says, "Put aside your petty squabbles. Presume nothing except this - if you return, we will return as brothers and sisters."

Thor leaps at Doom with Stormbreaker, but Doom blocks the weapon. Thor laments that they'll need a miracle to defeat Doom. Just then - "Hey pal." Thor says, "It's not possible." Chris Evans' Steve Rogers appears and summons Mjolnir from Thor's hand. He's looking long-haired and scraggly, even more so than in Infinity War.

Again, it remains to be seen when Marvel Studios will release this trailer wide online. We were also treated to new looks at The Mandalorian and Grogu, Toy Story 5, the Moana live-action remake, Hexed, and much more.

While the presentation wasn't streamed, IGN was in the room and we've broken down all the biggest moments below to ensure you don't miss a thing.

Avengers: Doomsday's First Trailer Is Revealed at CinemaCon 2026.

Avengers: Doomsday was the big finale of Disney's CinemaCon panel, and it began with Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers talking about how Victor Von Doom is one of the greatest comic book villains of all time. They say he is a scientist and magician, and he is always three steps ahead.

It was at that moment that they brought Robert Downey Jr. out, who was wearing a Doctor Doom shirt and helped introduce the long-awaited first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday.

The trailer begins with Xavier at the ruins of the Xavier Institute, saying something is coming after seeing a bright light in the sky. We then see Doom in a shrouded profile.

The footage then cuts to the Avengers Tower (which looks different), and we see the Fantastic Four meeting with the Avengers / Thunderbolts and Shuri meeting with Namor. This is also when Cyclops walks into the room. Thor says that he's fought many threats in his life, but this one scares him more than the others.

We then see Shang-Chi vs. Gambit, the Wakandans and Fantastic Four meeting, Mystique changing into Yelena, Johnny Holding Sue, Namor flying around, and then Thor jumping at Doctor Doom with Stormbreaker, who blocks the weapon with one hand.

Thor notes that they'll need a miracle to win this battle, and he then hears, "Hey, pal." Thor responds with, "It's not possible," as Mjolnir is pulled from his hand and into another - Steve Rogers is back with long hair and a disheveled look, that's even more distinct than he looked in Infinity War.

The footage ended there, and Chris Evans joined the team on stage. Evans says he was only going to come back for a really good reason, and "in Doomsday, there is a very good reason." Evans then jokes, "this Doom guy... I don't like him." Downey responds by saying, 'them's fighting words," and they mock face off.

Disney Reveals 'Infinity Vision' to Help Audiences Find the Biggest and Best Screens

Disney revealed Infinity Vision, a new certification for premium large format theaters designed to help audiences find the "biggest, brightest, and most immersive cinematic experiences. These will be theaters with the largest screens for maximum scale, laser projection for superior brightness and clarity, and premium audio formats for fully immersive sound.

This will all debut with the September 25 re-release of Avengers: Endgame and followed by Avengers: Doomsday.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Mandalorian and Grogu director Jon Favreau appeared onstage next, talking about how exciting it is to see the franchise back on the big screen. He reflected on seeing the original with his father, saying, “That first shot with the ship flying overhead, it changed my life.”

Favreau also noted that working on the film was a very different experience from the series (of which he only directed one episode). They had years rather than months to perfect the final product. He and Dave Filoni (who shot second unit) filmed 49 minutes' worth of alternate aspect ratio sequences for IMAX and other formats. Favreau praised both ILM's special effects and Ludwig Göransson's score.

They then debuted the newest trailer for the film, which will go live online later today. It focuses on the same characters seen in the previous trailers but strikes a decidedly more serious tone.

Then we were allowed to see the entire opening sequence of the film. The Mandalorian and Grogu opens with text explaining that the Empire has fallen and various warlords are scattered and hunted by Mando and his child. It then cuts to a meeting of the Imperial Remnant. The leader says, "You are the lucky few. That which I provide is expensive.” He says the galaxy will demand the Empire's return - "Long live the Empire!" The troopers repeat the cry, but unenthusiastically.

The leader asks for more protection money and is told they're already operating at a loss. He stands and shoots the man who said that. An alarm blares and another trooper is shot. More rush to investigate. A mouse droid is released. More troopers are dragged into the dark and shot. We see a POV shot from the mouse droid as the troopers fall. The leader orders his minions to lay down cover fire.

Mando then walks out of the shadows and shoots more troopers with his flamethrower. The rest put their guns down. The mouse droid tries to escape and Grogu hops up and uses the Force to blow it up.

An At-RT Walker marches up and the rider gets down while Grogu hides. From behind the trooper, Mando hops on the walker and blows him up. Mando tells Grogu, “What are you waiting for? Hop on!” They hop off a steep snowy cliff and start dodging larger AT-AT Walkers. The AT-RT is hit and Mando blasts off in his jetpack. He plants an explosive on teh foot of an AT-At and sends it toppling.

On another AT-AT, more Snowtroopers prepare for battle. Mando has an epic fight scene and takes them down, even using his suit to purposely ricochet a shot. He forces his way into the cockpit and blows up the walker. One left to go.

Mando flies to the last AT-At and uses his flamethrower on a trooper. Inside, he realizes the walker is on autopilot and stuffed with explosives. Grogu taps his helmet in alarm. Mando says, "I know" and uses the guns to shoot down the escaping leader's ship. They fly up to a ship and board. The ship is piloted by none other than Zeb. Zeb tells him, “It’s better if you bring them in alive.”

Then we get an actual opening credits sequence complete with actor names, a first for Star Wars. After that, the film cuts to a New Republic base, where we see X-Wings, Artoo units, and the droids developed for Galaxy's Edge. Zeb tells Mando, “Good luck, you’re gonna need it” as he and Grogu approach Sigourney Weaver's Col. Ward.

Check out The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer from February below.

Ward calls the operation "very messy" and complains that they killed their target. They needed information from him. We see that shot of Grogu pulling Ward's food toward him. Ward brings them to a new Razor Crest, which she says was confiscated from an Imperial. Mando says this is worth more than his bounty and she tells him it’s an advance towards next target - Commander Coin. No one knows what he looks like.

Mando is being sent to Nal Hutta. The Hutts' nephew is being held somewhere but they’ll only tell Mando in person. His name is Rotta the Hutt, the only surviving heir to Jabba. Mando says he doesn’t work for gangsters anymore, especially the Hutts. Ward says this is what they need him to do and if not, she has nothing for him.

Zeb walks up and tells Mando to come onboard the Razor Crest. Zeb says they’ll go to Nal Hutta and hear what the Hutts have to say. Mando says, “I didn’t say yes.” Zeb responds, "You didn’t say no, either." Mando walks into cockpit. He’s clearly happy to be back on a Razor Crest. We see another bit from the trailer of Grogu messing with buttons and Mando chastizing him - “Never touch the buttons.”

They take off and fly up through clouds into space and into hyperspace.

The Mando portion of the panel ended with a montage from the film, including some new shots of X-Wings in battle.

Sadly, Star Wars: Starfighter only got a brief mention, with the same pic we've seen before of Gosling's character and his son.

Toy Story 5

We were treated to a new clip from Toy Story 5, which is set to be released in theaters on June 19, 2026, and it's all about Bonnie getting her Lilypad device for the first time and kicking off the battle of toys vs. tech.

Bonnie is so excited to get Lilypad, and our favorite toys are watching on. The music changes to a spooky tone and it's kind of played like a horror parody. We then see her just staring at the screen and we move through day and night very quickly with her ignoring her old toys. Her dad eventually tries to tell her that screen time is over, but shes tries to play as long as she can.

When Bonnie leaves home, all the toys freak out and Jessie says she'll speak to Lilypad to see what's going on. We then cut to footage we've already seen of Jessie talking to Lilypad and Jesse feeling ignored. The toys then question if Lilypad is even listening to them, and she notes she is always listening, and can even repeat it back in Spanish.

Check out the official Toy Story 5 trailer from February below.

Jessie tells Lilypad that Bonnie needs to make friends and can't be locked behind a screen, and Lilypad notes that she can talk to her friends online. The other toys are kind of impressed with this new tech, but Jessie says, "That ain't a real friend. A real friend will be there." Lilypad then calls Jessie Jessica and she is not happy.

Lilypad then looks through the history of the Jessie toy after she mentions she's been with three kids now - Emily, Andy, and now Bonnie - and Lilypad notes that, 'Yikes, you are really old." Bonnie then looks at Lilypad and is super excited to be invited to play with a friend and the toys lament that their time is up as Rex screams, 'Extinction?! Not again!"

That was where the first clip ended, but we actually were able to see another one as well, and this time it was focused on Woody.

Woody and Bo Peep return to our toys and they are looking very heroic being backlit in Bonnie's window. Woody jumps down with his poncho and we hear the same line from the Trailer from Forky, "Why are you wearing a dress?!" Woody also has his bald spot and a bigger belly and then Buzz comes out and says, "Who goes there?!" However, they quickly embrace before arguing who is Jessie's deputy since she called Woody for help.

Bo then says, "Call me when you're done helping," and she leaves. Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves) is waiting for her on his bike and then we cut to a montage featuring the army of Buzz Lightyears, Jessie riding Bullseye, and more.

Tom Hanks (Woody) and Tim Allen (Buzz) were also on stage together for the first time ever at CinemaCon to help talk about Toy Story 5.

Hexed

Walt Disney Animation Studios' Hexed took center stage and we learned a bit more about the comedy adventure set in the world of magic, including that Hailee Steinfeld will star as the main character Billie and Rashida Jones will play her mother, Alice.

We then got to see a clip that began with Billie being flung down the stairs into a cavern. She finds an ancient looking book that's closed by straps, and she sneezes from the dust on it. She is startled when someone says, "bless you," and she discovers is was actually the book talking. There's also a pen and ink that speak to her in a way that reminded us of The Beauty and the Beast.

The pen then says, "answer these questions and we'll see if Hex is for you!" They ask her questions like if she's ever been burnt at the stake, and they tell her to sign the book.

"Go on, Love... DIP ME!" the pen says, encouraging her to dip her in the ink and write. Billie is then told that she is officially welcomed into Hex, a world of magic and wonder that is revealed by a wall opening and a whole other world waiting for them on the other side.

Hexed will be released in theaters on November 25, 2026.

Moana Live-Action

The CinemaCon clip of the live-action remake of Moana began with a glimpse at the song 'Where You Are' and the spirit of Gramma Tala, and it then cuts into the trailer/sizzle reel.

Maui says, "Don't worry! Maui always has time for his fans!" Maui swings his hook at Te Kā during a big action moment, and we get to see a bit more of 'You're Welcome' and other footage.

Dwayne Johnson was also on stage and talked about how much this film, both the animated and live-action, mean to him and how he was partially inspired by his grandfather. He showed a picture of his grandfather (they decided to show this like 10 minutes before the show), and he talks about how he was a bbig man and had this incredible hair and was so charismatic and was all the good parts of Maui.

Check out the official trailer for Moana from March below.

He also spoke on the impact of Moana across the world and how it's important to bring this story to live-action so they can spotlight the pacific island and real people. He then talked about Moana and new actress Catherine Laga'aia.

Moana, to Johnson, is not a princess, but a warrior, and men of all ages should empower and support all women. That's what real masculinity looks like." He also noted that Laga'aia is fantastic despite this being her first film ever and only being 17 when filming it.

The Moana live-action film will be released in theaters on July 10, 2026.

Ice Age: Boiling Point

Ice Age: Boiling Point will be the first time the franchise has been on the big screen in ten years, and Ray Romano (Manny), Denis Leary (Diego), and Queen Latifah (Ellie) were all present on stage, saying we're picking up at a point when our characters are at a bit of a fork in their life. Oh, and that Baby Scrat will be introduced!

The footage shows Scrat and Baby Scrat, and they fight over the acorn before Scrat gives the baby a tiny acorn and he puts it in his mouth like a pacifier. Scrat does not like that, however, and wants him to put it in the ground like he does with his acorns. Unfortunately, the acord gets all hot and sinks into the ground and the ice begins to split and it reveals a lot of lava below.

They have to jump across ice and ride the big acorn and they fall into a cavern below, where a dinosaur skeleton was jammed into the cave. They land on the ground and Scrat picks up his acorn, but it sadly falls apart as it's been burnt to a crisp.

Ice Age: Boiling Point will be released on February 5, 2027.

The Devil Wears Prada 2

After kicking off the presentation by taking a victory lap over recent box office successes like Avatar: Fire and Ash and Zootopia 2, Disney moved to The Devil Wears Prada 2 and a video message from star Anne Hathaway. We saw a clip of Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly in a meeting and insulting someone she feels did a poor job. After being informed of recent trends, she says, "A bum bag. May my suicide be quick and painless.” The clip was followed by a quick montage from the film, which opens this Friday.

Check out the trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 from early April below.

The Dog Stars

We got some footage Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars, and it began with Jacob Elordi's Hig reminiscing about better times with his wife and dog, and then they vanish. It's revealed this is a post-apocalyptic world and he's then with Margaret Qualley's Cima, who asks him, "What did you do before the world ended?"

Josh Brolin's Bangley then notes that the world that was does not exist anymore as we cut to some very intense footage with big fights with guns and rocket launchers. Hig longs for something better than this life they live, and then he and Cima are in a plane trying to get off the ground as guys chase them on horseback and jump onto the plane.

The Dog Star will be released on August 28, 2026.

Whalefall

Next up was Whalefall, and the footage begins with a guy scuba diving. He hears a loud noise in the darkness and a large octoput floats up and away. Right after, a massive whale appears and the scuba guy is freaking out before he gets attacked over and over again by the whale while trying to get to the surface.

He is then grabbed by the tentacles of the octopus and finds himself inside the whale's mouth and he's being pulled further and further down, despite trying to grab teeeth to climb out. It keeps getting more intense and more claustrophobic and he is sucked down into the whale.

Whalefall will be released on October 16, 2026.

Wild Horse Nine

The footage of Wild Horse Nine begins with John Malkovich's Chris and Sam Rockwell's Lee sitting in an airport and heade to Easter Island. There are young girls and they try to tell them the indigenous name of Easter Island, to which Chris says, "you shouldn't even know the word indigenous at your age."

We then cut to someone asking the pair what they think of our new president, to which they respond, "Enjoy him while you can," insinuating something is going to happen to him. Chris then says, "we came down here to destabilize your democracy and it's going great!" Lee tries to stop him, and Chris doubles down and says, "Your country is going to get f*****!"

Before the footage ends, Chris jokes that Lee has gained wait and also reminding him that they kill people, to which Lee says, "Shut the F*** up!"

Check out the Wild Horse Nine trailer from March below.

Wild Horse Nine will be released in theaters on November 6, 2026.

Adam Bankhurst is a writer for IGN. Tom Cruise will return as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and Jerry Bruckheimer will be back as producer, but there's no word on the return of any other Top Gun or Top Gun: Maverick cast.

Back in June last year, Maverick director Joseph Kosinski gave GQ an update on Top Gun 3 and specifically on how he saw the story evolving. "I think we've found a way to do it, not only in the scale of what we're proposing, but the idea itself of the story we're telling," he said.

"We're thinking much bigger than… It's a really existential crisis that Maverick has in this, and it's much bigger than himself. It actually… I'm trying to describe it without giving anything away. Not only does it feature some amazing art from Federico Maria Cugliari of Stitch having the time of his life snowboarding, but it is all gold and shimmers with the colors of the rainbow in the proper light.

It has become a new showpiece in my collection, and it really stands out from the other cards in a way that makes it feel special and rare. It's also just a great decision by the Lorcana team as Stitch is more popular than ever these days with his box-office smash hit live-action film and a sequel on the way.

The Stitch card also looks great in the Stitch - Rock Star card portfolio, which can hold up to 80 cards and keeps them safe and secure.

Speaking of the cards, the set comes with four Winterspell booster packs. I didn't have the greatest luck, but I did manage to snag a Legendary Tod - Knows All the Tricks from The Fox and the Hound and a Rare 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,' which we were able to exclusively reveal prior to the launch of Winterspell.

All in all, the four booster packs contained 48 cards, 25 of which were common (52.08%). 14 were Uncommon (29.16%), eight were Rare (16.66%), one was Legendary (2.08%), and four of them were Holo cards (8.33%).

In addition to everything else, this starter set includes a small Collector's Guide. Sure, you could find all this info online, but it's nice to have this small card-sized booklet that breaks down what you need to know about Disney Lorcana.

This guide helps you understand each part of a card, how to build your collection and keep it safe, what the rarity levels are, how you can see all your cards in a digital library, and more.

Overall, I highly recommend this Starter Set. At a $30 MSRP, it's roughly $5-$6 more than buying a booster pack on its own. That means, instead of one more pack, you can guarantee a really great Stitch card, a card portfolio to match, and a bit of info on how to become a better player/collector.

There is so much more planned for Lorcana this year, including the upcoming Wilds Unknown set that will introduce Pixar, Toy Story, and The Incredibles into the TCG for the first time ever.

For more, check out our impressions of Winterspell's Illuminier's Trove, the top chase cards for Winterspell and Fabled and what else to expect from Lorcana in 2026.

Adam Bankhurst is a writer for IGN. After more than 16 years in gamers’ hands, 4A is looking to keep the radioactive tunnels of its post-apocalyptic world looking grittier than ever thanks to the use of its 4A Engine.

“Metro 2039 takes you to the dark heart of the Moscow Metro, where the last survivors of the nuclear apocalypse struggle to exist in the tunnels and subways of the ruined city,” co-creative director and lead audio designer Pavel Ulmer said regarding the game’s story. “Hope is lost. The future looks bleak, if there is one.”

Creative director Andriy ‘mLs’ Shevchenko shared more about the plot: “The underground factions and station communities have all been united under one banner, the Novoreich, led by a new Führer, the legendary Spartan, Hunter. Führer promises a new life for the people, up on the surface. In reality, they are trapped down in the Metro, flooded with propaganda, misinformation, and fear. The people suffer under his authoritarian regime and the brutal belief if it’s hostile, you kill it.”

The story of Metro 2039 is said to feature a “much darker tone this time around,” with the Xbox First Look stream putting a spotlight on 4A and the conditions that have surrounded the development of the new game. Executive Producer Jon Bloch said that everything the team had planned for Metro changed in 2020 and again in 2022 with Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Shevchenko added that the events of the last few years have shaped Metro 2039 into something new, resulting in a handcrafted story told from a Ukrainian perspective. Additionally, its narrative was crafted in collaboration with Glukhovsky, who is living in exile from Russia for criticizing the government and its invasion of Ukraine.

“We will push through no matter what,” Ulmer added. “Getting electricity from generators or batteries. Power outages or sheltering from rocket and drone attacks are interrupting, but not stopping us from making what we deeply believe, what we do best. Of course, taking care of the family is the biggest priority. Sometimes you just put your head down and focus on work, but it’s each other’s support that keeps you running.”

The First Look wrapped up with a sneak peek at a video featuring a mix of gameplay and cinematics. You must return to the Moscow Metro – a place you swore you'd never go back to. There, the last survivors struggle to exist, and hope is nearly extinguished with a future that is bleak at best. You'll descend into the tunnels and sewers to fight a new foe, an authoritarian Fuhrer.

"We're not romanticizing the post-apocalypse, or making a theme park out of it," said 4A Games co-creative director Pavel Ulmer. The film revolves around what at face value looks like the hidden truth that aliens are among us. In the recently released trailer, Colin Firth’s character appears hell bent on keeping the truth a secret for fear of upending the world order, and can be seen appearing in a house and having a conversation with someone remotely, via some sort of advanced technology device hooked up to his mind. Even his eyes have changed color.

The Disclosure Day CinemaCon presentation closed out with the debut of a new extended trailer. It appears that Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor's characters were abducted by aliens as children and now share some sort of forgotten psychic bond. They were shown using complex math to figure out the alien conspiracy, with shades of Spielberg's own Close Encounters.

The tagline is:

If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.

We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.

Disclosure Day hits theaters on June 12, 2026.

Wesley is Director, News at IGN. Their presentation offered a new look at upcoming films like Street Fighter (which just released its first trailer), Scary Movie, Jackass 5, Children of Blood and Bone, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, A Quiet Place Part III, and confirmed that Top Gun 3 is a go with Tom Cruise.

The Paramount presentation wasn't livestreamed, but IGN was in the room, and we've got the full scoop on everything we saw.

The Paramount/Warner Bros. Movie Slate

The presentation opened with Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison appearing onstage and acknowledging the pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Ellison said that the goal once both companies are combined is to release a minimum of 30 new films across both studios each year. Paramount is committed to a 45-day minimum window for theatrical releases, with initial plans to release films on SVOD after 90 days.

Top Gun 3 and Paramount's Big Franchises

Paramount bosses Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein appeared next, where they spotlighted the upcoming James Mangold-directed, Timothée Chalamet-starring The High Side and the Call of Duty movie (though there are no updates on the CoD front just yet). They also confirmed that Paramount is developing new installments of Star Trek, G.I. Joe, Transformers, World War Z, Sonic the Hedgehog, Paranormal Activity, Possession, Longlegs, and Jackass.

The biggest news here is that Top Gun 3 is officially in development, with Tom Cruise set to return.

Other movies mentioned included Damien Chazelle’s next film starring Cillian Murphy, Teanna Taylor's directorial debut dance movie, Get Life, Robert Rodriguez’s The Naughty List, and James Wan’s English-language remake of the 2019 South Korean action-thriller The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Gets a First Look

Sonic the Hedgehog stars James Marsden and Tika Sumpter appeared via video message to introduce the first footage of the fourth film in the series. The footage (some of it reused from earlier movies) shows quick shots of Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, and Amy. We also see Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik appear exhausted after breaking down a vault door. He shouts "Robotnik! Saves! World!"

A Quick TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 Update

The presentation didn't give us much on the TMNT front, but producer Seth Rogen and the Mutant Mayhem 2 filmmakers did provide a video message confirming they're still working on the sequel.

John Krasinski on A Quiet Place Part III

Simialrly, John Krasinski briefly appeared to give a quick update on the next entry in the A Quiet Palce series. Krasinski revealed he was on his way to scout locations something "incredible," but stopped himself before revealing more.

The Call of Duty Teaser

As mentioned above, there's not much new on the Call of Duty front, but we did see a quick teaser for the movie that uses game footage set to the tune of "Seven Nation Army." Director Peter Berg appeared on camera saying he and Taylor Sheridan are working on the film. He said, “Taylor and I are both very attached to the special operations community,” and promised to capture the reality of their job but with a big scope. The film releases on June 30, 2028.

James Cameron Hypes Up Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft

Next the focus shifted to Billie Eilish's concert film Hit Me Hard and Soft, which was filmed in 3D by none other than James Cameron. Cameron said the film is meant to be a theatrical experience, not a streaming one, and revealed that they developed new tools not available even on the recent Avatar movies. They even built new, very small 3D cameras for use in certain moments.

This segment ended with some 3D footage from Hit Me Hard and Soft.

Scary Movie 6 Spoofs Modern Horror Classics

Next up, we saw marlon and Shawn Wayans and Anna Faris promote Scary Movie. The actors said they heard R-rated comedies don't work, to which Faris responded "That's bulls***!"

They then screened some footage of the upcoming sixth film in the series. The horror films parodied included Get Out's chair scene (with Ghostface ordering Shorty “Sink into the chair. Sink!”, Weapons (with a group of kids stealing Shorty's stash and running while high, Cheri Oteri's character getting The Substance, and Sinners (with an Irish band singing The Jeffersons theme song at the door). Other scenes showed Ghostface getting stabbed in the mouth with a dildo and a big callback to the "Wazzup!!!" scene from the original movie.

Jackass: Best and Last Gets a Trailer

Next, Jackass star Johnny Knoxville showed up to intro the final film in the series. The trailer begins with old footage of the gang, followed by a montage of "I'm Johnny Knoxville" intros. The footage introduces a new "cast member" named Larry, who's actually a robot who hits Knoxville in the balls. We also see Steve-O inside a Port-a-Potty being launched on a giant bungie. Later, Steve-O becomes the subject of the world's first robot prostate exam.

A Paramount exec also tease that fans should be on the lookout for the film's themed popcorn bucket they've been developing (we're afraid).

Paramount's Animated Lineup

Then the focus shifted to Paramount's upcoming animated fare, including Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie and Angry Birds 3. Paw Patrol will feature new music from The Backstreet Boys. We also saw brief footage of Angry Birds 3, with Jason Sudeikis' Red now cast as a loving father to a chaotic home full of rambunctious toddler birds and plenty of scatalogical humor to be had.

Street Fighter's Cast Assembles

Next up was Street Fighter, beginning with a sizzle reel of game footage and fan reactions set to The Beastie Boys' "Sabotage." An announcer was there to hype up the crowd, who was then replaced by Eric André. Much of the film's cast appeared onstage, including Cody Rhodes wearing his Guile hairpiece. The new trailer was screened.

Mr. Irrelevant: The John Tuggle Story

Former New York Giants quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms appeared to talk about Mr. Irrelevant: The John Tuggle Story, a movie about the player who was infamously picked last in the 1983 draft. Tuggle wound up being named Special Teams Player of the Year.

Star David Corenswet appeared via video to introduce the trailer. Corenswet joked about being a Philly boy wearing a New York jersey, saying, “What would Bradley Cooper think of me?” The trailer suggests this will be a very tearjerking, inspirational sports movie.

Brad Pitt in The Heart of the Beast

Then we saw footage of director David Ayer's survival drama The Heart of the Beast, which stars Brad Pitt as an ex-Special Forces operative still bonded with the dog he served alongside. We see their plane crash in the wildnerness and the dog save Pitt's character, at which point they have to make it back to civilization. Pitt tells his dog, “One last mission. I’m not going to let you die out here.”

Johnny Depp Becomes Ebeneezer Scrooge

Director Ti West appeared via video to introduce his film Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol. Surprisingly, Johnny Depp was also there in person to promote the film. Depp revealed he's been obsessed with the original Dickens story since he was a child. When first approached, he feared there was no way to top Alastair Sims' performance, but decided there was a way to go into the project and find a new angle on the story and character.

Footage was shown of the movie, with people parting in the streets to make way for Depp's Scrooge, who looks uncharacteristically creepy and and cackling. We see Ian McKellen as the ghost of Jacob Marley warning Scrooge about his impending visitors. When Scrooge won't get out of bed, the bed sucks him in (not unlike A Nightmare on Elm Street). The footage ends with someone trying to tell Scrooge "Merry Christmas" before he cuts him off and shouts "Don't you dare!"

Children of Blood and Bone

Children of Blood and Bone director Gina Prince-Blythewood and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Regiba King, Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, Thuso Mbedu all stopped by (accompanied by a group of dancers) to talk about the 2027 adaptation of the Afrofuturism novel and show new footage.

The footage shows Viola Davis' Mama Agba and her allies smacking around some tax collectors. The film is a story about the struggle to bring back magic in a kingdom where magic users are routinely executed. The magic users have Targaryen-like white hair. We see one magician summon a tree fighter to battle enemy warriors. The movie looks very unique.

CinemaCon 2026 Presentations

Sony Pictures at CinemaCon 2026: Everything Revealed

Warner Bros. at CinemaCon 2026: Everything Revealed

Universal Pictures at CinemaCon 2026: Everything Revealed

Amazon MGM Studios at CinemaCon 2026: Everything Revealed

Jesse is a mild-mannered staff writer for IGN. But what should have been the welcome return of an old character turned into controversy, as Alex’s complex family dynamics were revealed in the arcade mode ending and World Tour scenes, namely his marriage to younger step sister/distant cousin Patricia. However, the resulting April 15 patch has drawn criticism for making Alex’s convoluted family relations even vaguer.

American fighter Alex Winger debuted as the face of 1997's Street Fighter 3 New Generation, which also introduced his adoptive father and mentor figure, Tom. Alex’s relationship with Tom’s daughter Patricia was always portrayed as a sibling bond, as they grew up together. However, Street Fighter 6 turns this on its head by revealing that Alex and Patricia are now married, with a baby on the way.

This alone was icky enough for some fans, but the situation was further complicated by revelations in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode. Alex’s dialogue states that Tom is actually a cousin of Alex’s mother, making Alex and Patricia second cousins.

Patricia and Alex. Patricia is pregnant with a girl. Fast forward to Street Fighter 6’s April 15 update, which adjusts some of Alex’s World Tour story text in certain localizations (including English).

So what did the patch change? Story-wise, very little. Instead of explicitly stating that Tom and his mom are cousins, Alex’s dialogue now says that Tom is “a distant relative of my mom or something, and was a sparring buddy of my dad.”

StreetFighter

Alex’s line about Tom’s significance in his life also got made vaguer. The pre-patch English localization was, “He’s my trainer, my manager, my adoptive dad… No, he is my dad.” Now, Tom’s just, “basically the dad I needed.” This adjustment, however, does bring it a bit more in line with the original Japanese version, which uses the more ambiguous term ‘sodate no oya,’ which can simply mean a parent-like figure who played a role in raising someone (not necessarily a formal adoption).

Prior to the patch, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama posted an apology on X for the “confusion” that Alex’s backstory had caused among fans. He explained that, "While we have not changed the characters’ backstories, after internal review by the development team, we plan to revise certain text passages that may have been misleading." The post linked to ‘A Toast between Fathers,’ an official short story by Street Fighter 6’s scenario team that explains how Alex and Patricia’s once sibling-like relationship took a romantic turn.

Basically, Capcom’s approach to the marriage controversy so far has been to add backstory to justify how Alex and Patricia’s relationship changed over time, and to make their biological connection even vaguer.

Overall, the patch seems to have caused a mix of dissatisfaction and bemusement among fans, with many wondering why Capcom seems so determined to keep Alex and Patricia biologically related in some way. The change to Tom being a distant relative of Alex’s mother “or something” prompted many LOL reactions (“They're hoping that "Or something" does A LOT of heavy lifting,” opined one Redditor). If anything, the changes just make Alex sound unsure about, or even embarrassed by his complicated family.

Verity Townsend is a Japan-based freelance writer who previously served as editor, contributor and translator for the game news site Automaton West. The Season of Champions will then begin in October — though its range of themed products is yet to be revealed. Del Rey had used her real name, Elizabeth Grant, for the registration — but internet sleuths quickly connected the dots.

Now, the track is live on Del Rey's YouTube channel — and it sounds a fitting Bond song, while also playfully referencing the fact First Light is a video game (and perhaps also Del Rey's own iconic tune, Video Games). Veteran Bond composer David Arnold (who scored five Bond films, from Tomorrow Never Dies to Quantum of Solace) is behind its score.

"Can't say I'm surprised to see you running toward the sun," Del Rey sings. "It's the first light of day... Ah, you're ready? All the fates just watch you, dying just to know whether you'll play your life like a game."

The track is a fitting addition to the franchise for Del Rey — who previously recorded her 2005 track "24" to feature in Daniel Craig movie Spectre, the franchise's 24th film, only for Sam Smith's "Writing's On the Wall" to ultimately be chosen in its place instead.

007: First Light has suffered a string of leaks over the past few months, and perhaps most notably this week, when the game's ending was accidentally made available publicly due to a major slip-up by the Indonesian ratings board. With just six weeks still to go until the game's launch, IO has been keen to keep much about the game under wraps to avoid spoiling narrative surprises.

The long-awaited next game from the developer of Hitman, 007: First Light features a starry cast and big ambitions to kickstart a fresh James Bond game trilogy. While its story remains largely secret, we know it'll feature a fresh-faced incarnation of Bond played by Dexter: Original Sin star Patrick Gibson, in a new origin story that features The Eternals' Gemma Chan, The Walking Dead's Lennie James, and The Hunger Games' Lenny Kravitz.

Following an earlier delay, 007: First Light is now set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 27. A Switch 2 version is also set to follow — though not until "later this summer."

Of course, Del Rey isn't the only music mogul involved with the project. Singer and actor Lenny Kravitz will star in the game as Bawma, a villain who at one point hangs poor Bond upside down and threatens to feed him to a pair of waiting crocodiles.

Tom Phillips is IGN's News Editor. IGN was invited for a Q&A session with the team to learn more about what is coming in Season 3, 4, and even 5, and while it’s unclear if it will be enough to reach the heights of launch, one thing is certain: they are listening.

Season 3

EA and BF Studios are, at last, implementing their plans to finally let Battlefield 6 soar, and Season 3 is the runway – but what took so long?

“We want to make sure we are making and moving as quickly as we possibly can to really address the concerns that players are having but also making sure they are having the experiences that they want to have,” Ripple Effect executive producer Ryan McArthur said. “That being said, the most important thing for the team is to make sure we get it right. Things like maps and game modes, and things that really take some time and some balancing, we want to make sure we’ve got the time to put the effort in to make sure the experience the players want is the experience we get.”

Getting it right starts with the previously announced plan to launch a remake of Golmud Railway with Season 3 this May. This version of a classic Battlefield 4 map, now called Railway to Golmud, is set in Tajikistan and comes with updated visuals, reworked play areas, and updated audio design. It also happens to be approximately four times the size of the already quite large Mirak Valley, giving players a taste of how BF Studios will address long-standing calls for larger multiplayer maps.

The second map of the season is another returning location: Grand Bazaar. Now called Cairo Bazaar, this smaller Battlefield 3 map has been reworked to somehow feature even more intense encounters. Motive executive producer Philippe Ducharme added that players will have access to vehicles in the smaller version of the map, explaining only that it’s “not the full roster” like what will be seen in Railway to Golmud.

Ranked play is also coming to Battlefield REDSEC in Season 3, with BF Studios promising battle royale quads fans that they’ll be able to earn exclusive rewards, with more competitive-leaning content planned to arrive in Battlefield 6 at a later date. A solo battle royale matchmaking option is also set to launch this season.

Season 4

Season 4 looks like it could be a make-or-break moment for Battlefield 6 when it launches in July, but players should be happy to hear that the developers are looking to make a splash with the resurfacing of naval warfare. Aircraft carriers, a dynamic wave system that affects player aim, naval-based vehicles, and even naval challenges and rewards are just the tip of the iceberg, with the first water-based Battlefield 6 map set to be yet another reimagining of Wake Island.

“For me, what is really interesting and good of Battlefield is the years and years of history with what I think are, personally, the best maps in FPS ever.” Motive senior creative director Roman Campos-Oriola said when asked how Battlefield 6 will balance the release of new and remade maps. “There are a lot of those in Battlefield. There’s definitely a willingness from the team to revisit some of that experience, but we also want to add and bring new maps, new layouts, new unique level design experience for Battlefield 6.”

BF Studios is more than just dipping its toes back into naval combat with Season 4, as the second map of the season will introduce more water warfare with Tsuru Reef. It’s said to have more room to fight than even Railway to Golmud and will stand as the largest map in Battlefield 6 upon its debut.

So, yes, just as fans have hoped, bigger maps are coming to Battlefield 6 for at least the next two seasons. Those who love “meat grinder” maps like Season 2’s Hagental Base won’t be completely left behind, though, as the team says it’s hoping to strike a nice balance after finally delivering targeted feedback.

“Earlier in BF6, in the first seasons, we were slightly over-indexing in the smaller or medium-scale type of map,” Campos-Oriola said. “Now, for Season 3, Season 4, we want to deliver more broader, bigger experiences to have that all-out warfare and more larger-scale vehicle combat. In the future, for Season 5 and onward, we’ll continue to look at that balanced approach. We will continue to release smaller or medium-sized maps – and also much larger maps.”

Season 5

Where BF Studios has previously waited until the days leading up to a major update to pull back the curtain, it took today’s grand reveal as an opportunity to be a bit more forthcoming with fans about what is coming to Battlefield 6 in 2026. That said, the team isn’t quite ready to totally spill the beans on Season 5 yet, though when it launches this fall, it will come with another highly requested (but temporary) change: three new maps in one season.

There’s no confirmation on what these maps will be, with BF Studios only sharing a teaser image featuring some oily water. The team also notes that it’s viewing Season 5, it’s final season of the year, as a "holiday treat," so don’t expect to see three maps per season often or even again at all.

"We still plan to stay with the current strategy we have, which is adapting our season and our seasonal structure to meet the experiences that we want our players to play," McArthur clarified.

More Features Throughout 2026

Each seasonal update for 2026 comes with highlights players have begged to see since Battlefield 6 launched for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S in October 2025, but BF Studios is still working to deliver comparatively smaller adjustments, too. While that, of course, means balance tweaks are planned to roll out through the year, players can also expect to see major features, such as a proper server browser with persistent servers, launch before 2026 ends.

Leaderboards, spectator mode, platoons, and proximity chat are also in development. Meanwhile, two existing maps players have deemed especially problematic – New Sobek City and Blackwell Fields – are getting reworks. BF Studios isn’t yet ready to commit to a release date for these aforementioned, smaller changes.

"Battlefield 6 is the most engaging Battlefield, I think, we’ve ever created," McArthur said when asked if the team is concerned about reports of player numbers dropping. "I think we’re really happy with the game we’ve got, but the most important thing for the team day over day is to constantly make the game better, too. As Roman and Phil have said repeatedly, it’s working with Battlefield Labs, constantly pushing the game for more, constantly giving the players what they need, addressing their feedback."

Following a strong start last fall, Battlefield 6 faced a rough start to the year. In the sneak peek, fans get a glimpse of parodies of popular sci-fi and fantasy properties like Star Wars and Harry Potter. There’s even a moment where Na’vi from Avatar is at a urinal next to the quintessential Spaceballs chief enforcer Lord Dark Helmet. Other franchises that are expected to be parodied this time around include Star Trek and Alien.

Brooks, who is an incredible 99-years-old at this point, also sent a video to the convention in his absence, where he announced that the sequel’s official title will be Spaceballs: The New One.

As far as plot details, it appears the specifics are being kept under wraps at the moment, but there are certainly enough funny touchstone moments in the trailer to chew on. One thing we do know is some of the movie’s killer original cast will return, including Rick Moranis, George Wyner, Daphne Zuniga, Bill Pullman, and Brooks himself. There will, of course, be new folks joining the fray too, including Keke Palmer, Lewis Pullman, Anthony Carrigan, and one of the film’s writers, Josh Gad.

You might remember Brooks teased the project in June 2025 with one of the classic Star Wars-style text crawls. “Thirty-eight years ago, there was only one Star Wars trilogy,” it read. “But since then there have been… a prequel trilogy, a sequel trilogy, a sequel to the prequel, a prequel to the sequel, countless TV spinoffs, a movie spinoff of the TV spinoff, which is both a prequel and a sequel […] But in 38 years, there has only ever been one Spaceballs. Until now…”

The New One is directed by Josh Greenbaum and written by Gad, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit. Brooks also revealed the movie’s theatrical release date in the video: April 23, 2027.

The project will be released by Amazon MGM Studios, who also debuted footage from Masters of the Universe, Highlander with Henry Cavill, the Thomas Crown Affair starring Michael B. The studio also made a public commitment to put 15 movies in theaters per year, which they claim they are on track to hit in 2026.

Image credit: Greg Doherty/Getty Images for Amazon MGM Studios.

Lex Briscuso is a film and television critic and a freelance entertainment writer for IGN. We knew that we didn't want to do an Alan Oppenheimer impression. Now, part of that reason is you gotta go back to the genesis of where that voice even came from.”

Knight continued, “This came out in the ‘80s. Skeletor was kind of scary and so they actually made the choice to give him a ridiculous voice to take the edge off of how scary he looked [to children]. They did. And it was very funny, and it was very iconic. For us, we want to make sure that Skeletor embodied all those things that we loved about Skeletor. So he looked cool, he was funny, he was scary as hell, and he had a very distinctive voice and laugh.”

The director said Leto “spent a considerable amount of time actually trying to figure out what that voice would sound like. Ultimately, he landed on something that I'm delighted with. It's something that has menace. It has an air of theatricality, which is always something that was part of Skeletor. He was very, very dramatic. He was very showy. He always liked putting on a show and getting a response. So it's theatrical, it's scary, and he can even be quite funny in his insecurities. And so it was definitely not influenced by Bane. It was not influenced by anyone other than kind of just knowing what came before it and then trying to find your own version of it.”

Knight also said Leto knew going into the movie that he would be behind a mask the whole time, and that the actor, who was a He-Man fan as a kid, wanted to do Skeletor “justice”.

“Any actor trying to fill those big boots would have to know that basically no one will even ever see your face,” Knight said. “It was important for us to do it justice. But yeah, he knew that it was important to me that Skeletor looked like Skeletor, which means he had a skull face. And that was something we kind of had to sell everyone on. But Jared was all in.”

Knight also explained that the nuances of Leto’s performance on set were vital to the animators who had to create the movements and expressions on Skeletor’s face: “The animators would look at what he does and try to get that kind of idiosyncratic detail in his face. And they did an amazing job. It's kind of a tricky thing, [to] see how far you can push it, expressions on a skull. But we figured he's an alien, maybe he has a little more flexibility than our version of a skull does. But he has so much character and personality. I'm just delighted by what we got.”

Masters of the Universe will be released theatrically in the U.S. on June 5, 2026.

Masters of the Universe: CinemaCon Footage Breakdown

Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel invited the press to screen select footage from Masters of the Universe ahead of their CinemaCon presentation. The film’s director, Travis Knight, was joined by stars Nicholas Galitzine (He-Man) and Camila Mendes (Teela) to introduce three scenes from the film that amounted to roughly 20 minutes of footage. (Minor spoilers follow.)

“If you watch the Filmation cartoon, you know that every episode, Skeletor had some grand designs for power. He was going to do some kind of scheme. He's going to get his ass kicked, and then he's going to promise to return next week. Lather, rinse, repeat, the same thing every time. And we wondered what would happen if he actually won. And that's essentially how we start our movie,” Knight explained before the footage rolled.

The first sequence showed Skeletor’s (Jared Leto) forces breaching the walls of the capital city, Eternos. Duncan/Man-at-Arms (Idris Elba) leads King Randor (James Purefoy), Queen Marlena (Charlotte Riley), and their young son, Prince Adam, through the halls of the Royal Palace in search of a safe escape route.

Skeletor’s “wizard of weapons,” Trap Jaw, and some henchmen find them. Man-at-Arms points the royal family down a side passageway while he takes on Trap Jaw and his goons. Man-at-Arms has the upper hand of Trap Jaw … until he doesn’t.

Skeletor and his horde soon surround the royal family. Skeletor lets Marlena and Adam run away as his troops attack and seize Randor. Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) arrives as Randor is hauled away. Skeletor delivers a victorious, supervillain monologue, his fist raised to the heavens – but none of his crew know how to respond. That irks Skeletor, who explains to Evil-Lyn that they’re supposed to react when he hits the crescendo of his big speech.

“We're going to jump ahead 15 years to later in the movie, where we find Adam, who's now grown up on Earth. They sent him to Earth to protect him, but he lost his sword along the way. He spent the last 15 years trying to find the sword. He finally does, and then he immediately gets arrested,” Knight explained in his set-up to the second sequence.

This scene showed Adam in the back of a police car, which is stuck in traffic on a highway overpass. Suddenly, people start fleeing their cars, escaping from some threat just behind them. The two cops leave Adam in the squad car while they go to investigate. Then Adam sees Beast Man charging across the tops of vehicles, heading right for him.

Adam grabs his Power Sword from the front seat and takes cover as Beast Man lands on the roof of the cop car. Beast Man eventually tosses Adam off the overpass onto the street below, where he proceeds to beat the hell out of him. Just as it looks like that’s it for Adam, Beast Man gets blasted by Teela, whom Adam is shocked to see. She’s come to bring him home to Eternia.

The third and final scene showed Adam, Teela, and Man-at-Arms on a bridge in Eternia, staving off an attack by Trap Jaw and his goons. Adam tries to use the conflict resolution skills he learned at his office job on Earth, but Trap Jaw ain’t having it. Trap Jaw is beating the hell out of Adam when, at the urging of his friends to “use the sword”, the Sorceress (Morena Baccarin) appears overhead to remind Adam of his incantation.

“By the power of Grayskull,” Adam begins to say as he lifts his Power Sword. Lightning starts crackling in the sky above, causing Trap Jaw and the others to react. Adam’s body begins to levitate, his clothes are magically replaced by gladiatorial armor as his body transforms into the musclebound He-Man and he declares, “I have the power!!!” He-Man proceeds to get the upper hand against Trap Jaw. The footage presentation ended with a sizzle reel, the same one screened at the studio’s CinemaCon panel.

When it came to actually saying those iconic He-Man lines, Nicholas Galitzine recalled his thinking going into filming that scene:

“It's obviously one of those things that you see on the schedule, and you kind of go, ‘Oh shit, that's the big scene.’ And I kind of was very conflicted in my mind as to whether I wanted to rehearse it or really just feel it on the day, which was actually something that I landed on because, as Travis says, it was emotional for him. It was emotional for me. This is someone who's been put down their entire lives and been told by his teachers when he arrived on Earth that he's crazy, and this moment, this incantation, is just completely empowering him and vindicating his life of struggles. And I didn't want to have something so prepared in my mind. I wanted it to feel really from my core and my gut.”

For more He-Man coverage, check out the Masters of the Universe popcorn bucket and read what the director said about whether Jared Leto's Skeletor voice is an homage to Tom Hardy's Bane.

Masters of the Universe opens in theaters on June 5, 2026.

Street Fighter Trailer Released

A Street Fighter movie trailer was released as part of CinemaCon 2026, showing off new footage from the upcoming video game adaptation.

A Street Fighter movie trailer was released as part of CinemaCon 2026, showing off new footage from the upcoming video game adaptation.

The new trailer revolves around eternally popular Street Fighter characters Ken, played by Noah Centineo, and Ryu, played by Andrew Koji, who reconnect years after a falling out. Ryu has dropped off the radar in the ensuing years, growing long hair and a beard. Chun-Li, played by Callina Liang, is rounding up fighters for the world warrior tournament. She tells Ken, who had his own MTV show, that he's become a sideshow. In a lot of ways, Ken’s arc seems similar to Johnny Cage’s in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie.

The trailer goes on to tease various over-the-top fights packed with familiar special moves, and we see pretty much all the characters, including a brief look at Jason Momoa’s Blanka. The trailer starts with 'Ambitionz az a Ridah' by 2pac, then uses Non Blondes’ ‘What's Up’ for the remainder (a drunk Ken even sings it at karaoke at one point). Ryu unleashes a fireball right at the end.

Street Fighter is set to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.

Wesley is Director, News at IGN. Connor, meanwhile, will play new character Charley Paley — who sounds decidedly different from the classic story's Charlie Bucket.

Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory tells a new story, set years after Wonka's infamous Golden Ticket contest. Indeed, Wonka has just returned to his factory following a stint behind bars (for turning a child into a blueberry, as seen in the original Charlie and the Chocolate factory book and film).

"Having served his time, Wonka returns to his factory determined to add a little sweetness to a bitter world," reads an official blurb. "But one thing stands in his way: teenager Charlie Paley (Connor) and his friends. Facing eviction, this next generation of 'rotten' kids plot to break into the factory, nab a priceless Wonka Bar, and save their homes. But like many before them who enter the fantastical world of the factory, these kids are in for a bit more than they can chew..."

Artwork shown today reveals a modern London skyline dominated by the colorful Wonka chocolate factory, its building towering over nearby terraced houses. Enormous purple glass windows and a bright pink Wonka logo can be seen, while tall chimneys puff out a rainbow of colored smoke. In the foreground, a bored-looking teen with blond hair looks on, dressed in a hoodie and jeans and holding a lollipop.

Other upcoming movies from Sony include Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (currently due June 18, 2027) and a K-Pop Demon Hunters sequel, not expected before 2029.

Tom Phillips is IGN's News Editor.
