Every year, SCAD TVfest feels like a homecoming, but this year? This year was extra special.

The 14th Annual SCAD TVfest reminded me exactly why this is my favorite time of the year. From inspiring conversations to unforgettable moments with the people who shape the stories we love, the festival once again delivered magic.

One of the most meaningful highlights for me was meeting Jeff Probst. As a longtime Survivor fan, this moment truly felt full circle. Survivor has been a constant in my life for years, so having the opportunity to chat with him about Survivor 50 was honestly surreal. It was one of those moments where fandom and real life beautifully collide, and I don’t take that lightly at all.

This year, I also had the incredible opportunity to interview the “Hallmark’s Power of Love” panel, which brought together such a dynamic and beloved group of creatives. The panel featured:

That is why the news that Wild Heaven Beer has acquired the iconic EATS brand feels less like a change and more like a continuation of something deeply special. Beginning in the new year, Wild Heaven will officially become the steward of the EATS legacy, bringing it to their West End location at the Lee + White complex, a neighborhood that already embodies Atlanta’s creative and communal spirit.

This transition comes as Wild Heaven’s current food partner, El Tesoro, prepares to move on from the taproom kitchen. While El Tesoro will no longer operate inside Wild Heaven West End, they are not going far and will soon become neighbors elsewhere within the Lee + White development. It is a true Atlanta moment with growth, collaboration, and community all sharing the same block. Wild Heaven has expressed deep appreciation for El Tesoro and looks forward to continuing that shared sense of neighborhood.

“EATS has been part of Atlanta’s culinary DNA for decades,” said Nick Purdy, Co President of Wild Heaven Beer. “We’re honored to carry that torch forward. Our goal is to preserve what people have always loved about EATS while giving it a thoughtful, sustainable home inside our West End brewery.”

On working alongside acting legends, Chlöe shared,

“I was nervous because that's Taraji and we've seen each other in passing, but we've never worked together. So knowing that I got to have that opportunity, I was like, I hope I can step up to the plate and hold my own. And she made me feel comfortable and warm and loved, and I have to truly say the same about Samuel L. Jackson.”

Chlöe told HelloBeautiful that she drew inspiration for Lena from iconic Blaxploitation characters like Foxy Brown and Beyoncé’s Foxxy Cleopatra. The actress also discussed the duality of being grown and sexy while still having a love for “science, technology and engineering.” She wants to remind everyone that women are multifaceted.

On the topic of music, Chlöe burst with pride when she talked about the work she put into her upcoming sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise. Bailey told HelloBeautiful the project was recorded and mastered in St. Lucia where she found solace, acceptance, and creativity.
