1. ANAMUDI

Anamudi is the highest trekng spot in kerala.This mountain is located in Ernakulam Dist and Idukki Dist around 2695 meters (8,842 ft). it is the highest peak in the South India and in Western Ghats.If we go for the trekking we will must take the forest dept permission.The trek is very challenging and good health level and you go there any time during the day.The place was like hiking. This is the one of must visit trekking spot in Kerala.And time best time for trekking between November to May.

2. CHOKRAMUDI PEAK

Chokramudi peak is a wonderful place for trekking. The trekking was difficult for childrens and unhealthed people.It is located in Munnar,Idukki Dist.Chokramudi peak is one of highest in Munnar.The peak gives a beautiful view of tea plantations,Anamudi peak and Idduki Dam.The peak was around 7,200 feet.It is a 10 km long trek that can be easly covered in 4 to 5 hr.It was the one of the beauty of Western Ghats.December to February was the must visit time.

3. AGASTHIYAR MALA

Agathiyar mala was located in Thiruvanathapuram Dist.The trekkng was open for every year from second week of january and till closed after 45 day.The agathiyarkoodam was its ecological and religious importance.The Agathyarkoodam wsa around 1,868 meter hightes(6129 FT).And the Agathiyarkoodam is the pilgrimage center for devotees of Hindu saga Agasthya.itz also know as the pothigal hills.It is a adventures spot also.

4. MEESHAPULI MALA

Meeshapuli is situated in Idukki Dist.This is the second largest peak in South India.Its height is 2640 meter above from sea level.This was a highly dangerous spot to trekking because of wild animals and rainy forest.Its not a dificult trek. If you want to go there take a entry pass from KFDC ( Kerala Forest Development Corporation).The trekking time take 3 to 4 hours if the climate is advantage. There the kFDC has a tent stay in night it was so amazing.The trek was a vishual treat.

TOURIST SPOTS IN THRISSUR

Thrissur was once the capital of the kingdom of cochin and was a point of contact for the Greeks ,Persians,Arabs ,Romans,Portuguese,Ducth,English and Assyrians .Thrissur is known as the cultural capital of Kerala.The Thrissur district was formed on july 1,1949. There are more than 20 plus hidden spots in Thrissur. In Thrissur one side is sea and the another side is greeny .

1. KALLAZHY HILLS ( NARIMADA)

Narimada was located in Akathiyoor, Kunnamkulam,Thrissut Dist. Narimada is a beauty of nature with all its purity. This place has a devine energy , its fact was the temple around the hill. its was a nature gift . Before 4 years the spot was under the Govt of Kerala. It was a couple friendly and family spot now.Now peoples coming to wedding photography .This place was a most visited palce in kunnamkulam.

2. PERUVANMALA

Peruvanmala was located in Thalokkottukara,Kechery,Thrissur Dist.It is a nature hillrock with the beauty of greeny. The place was a came and peaceful. If you go there your mind will be fresh.Actully there is a temple that's why there is came and quiet.June to December are the best visit time.The spot is good for nature photography

3. CHAVAKKAD BEACH

Chavakkad baby beach is located in Chavakkad,Thrissur Dist.The place was one of the major tourist place in Thrissur.The place is under the chavakkad municipality.The main acctraction of the beach is one side is greeny.Now the municipality upgraded to tourism. There is floating bridge and speed boat activities are most impressive the people.

4. MUNAKKAKADAVU BEACH

Munakkakadavu beach is also known as azhimugam beach.It is located in Anjangadi, Munakkakadavu,Thrissur Dist.The beach is so special because of the view point and beauty.There is a hidden gem along the Arabian Sea.This entrancing beach stretches for appproximately 1 km. The beach is also a little bit dangerous because of the structure of the sea. The main beauty is there is a connection between the river and sea.

5. CHERU CHAKKI CHOLA

Cheru Chakki Chola is located in Chittanda,Wadakanchery,Thrissur Dist. .The place was less explored beauty with big trees around. The place is under forest department. Now the entry of the place was illegal. If you go there give penalty to the forest dept. There is a hidden waterfall and small dam that spots are making the cheru chakki chola nature beauty.The place must visit time is June to December.

6. THOOMANAMWATERFALLS

Thoomanam Waterfalls is located in Enkakad,Wadakanchery,Thrissur Dist. Thoomanam is a small waterfall . It was a nice spot to take photography. Most of the people visit the place to wedding photo shoots. The place was so green and a peacefull spot.If you want to go there bring an extra dress to your bag if you want to swing.The place was a nature gift.It was a picnic spot for adventure fan and nature lovers.

7. VATTAYI WATERFALLS

Vattayi Waterfalls was located in Kundukad 17 km away from Thrissur. The people say vattayi is a hidden gem of our place.It is a perfect spot of family and a perfect picnic spot of adventure and nature lovers.This place most recommended for wedding photography.The best time for visit the place on mansoon season.

8. ATHIRPILLY WATERFALLS

Athirapally waterfalls was located in Chalakudy,Thrissur Dist. It is the largest waterfall in Kerala.The waterfall is a highely reccommended spot.Most people visit this place in monsoon season.In rainy season some time the entry will close beause the waterfall was danger. It is a main tourist spot under the Govt of Kerala. It was a shooting spot also lot of films shoot there.The main attraction was the greeny nature amd the waterfall.

9. MALAKKAPPARA

Malakkappara was a small hill station in Thrissur Dist.This place is situated on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.The main beauty was the journey of Athirapally to Malakkappara route it was a good exprience. The travel was 50 km around the forest.The winter season was the time to suggested.There was a check post in Athirapilly and Malakkappara.The check post will open at 6:00 am and close at 4:00 pm. The travel was a little danger. If you want to go there take your on risk.

10. PATTATHIPARA WATERFALLS

Pattathipara is a hidden waterfall located in Pananchery,Thrissur Dist.It was a small waterfall .The place was so greeny and silent place .The Pattathipara have a mysterious history.The lady pattathy was dead in the waterfall that's why people named the waterfall as pattathipara.Now the place was under the forest dept.If we reach the waterfall to trek maybe 300 meter above. The place was little danger.There is a small check dam also it was so nice.
