Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are speaking out about their decision to ditch acting, and how they’ve fared since.

Back in November, the 45-year-old former Vampire Diaries star explained that he Nikki, 35, moved to a farm outside of Los Angeles to raise their two children: Bodhi, 6, and their 6-month-old son.

Reflecting on his new family-centric lifestyle, Ian reminisced on his experiences on film and TV sets, but emphasized that his new family-focused lifestyle can give him something more.

“This is our 2.0 version,” he said, adding that it’s “about to be 3.0 version.”

Nikki shared that her time connecting with nature has “become a way of living so much simpler.”

The Twilight star added, “When you see the way that nature operates, you find compassion. It’s a beautiful thing to see what’s happening with children, to watch them participate in the growing of their food and the understanding of what food is and where it comes from.”

On Friday (January 12), The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Diddy will skip the Grammys this year despite his nomination.

The news follows a slew of lawsuits and sexual assault allegations against the artist.

In November 2023, Cassie, who was previously signed to Diddy‘s label and in a long-term relationship with him, sued the musician for rape and physical abuse over the course of a decade.

The lawsuit was later settled.

Since then, three other women have filed their own lawsuits against Diddy for rape and sexual assault.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are filming their upcoming romance movie!

On Friday (January 12), the 36-year-old Gossip Girl star and the 39-year-old Jane the Virgin actor were spotted shooting some intimate scenes on set in New Jersey.

The movie, It Ends With Us, is directed by Justin and based on the novel by Colleen Hoover.

During their filming session, Blake and Justin shared a passionate kiss as part of a scene.

Blake stars as Lily, while Justin will play the character of Ryle.

Bill Hayes has died.

The actor, who appeared in over 2,000 episodes of the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives since 1970, was 98 years old.

On Friday (January 12), a statement from the show confirmed the sad news.

Executive producer Ken Corday added, “I have known Bill for most of my life and he embodied the heart and soul of Days of our Lives. Although we are grieving and will miss him, Bill’s indelible legacy will live on in our hearts and the stories we tell, both on and off the screen.”

Robert Downey Jr. is looking back on his experience bringing Iron Man to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The 58-year-old actor embodied the beloved genius, playboy, billionaire philanthropist starting with his first solo movie in 2008 and ending with Avengers: Endgame over a decade later in 2019.

During an appearance on the Literally! podcast, Robert opined that he delivered “some of the best work” of his career in the franchise. However, he didn’t feel like it got the credit it deserved.

Robert said that he “felt so exposed” after leaving Marvel. Dolittle - his first role after Endgame - was not well received, and he felt the result.

“I think I did some of the best work I will ever do [with Marvel], but it went a little bit unnoticed because of the genre,” he said, via Variety.

After his Marvel experience, he said that “the rug was pulled so definitively out from underneath me and all the things that I was leaning on as opposed to what my understanding of confidence and security was, boy did they evaporate. And it rendered me teachable.”

In a new lawsuit filed against her, the movie’s director Ti West and studio A24, Mia is accused of purposefully kicking an extra in the head while they shot a scene together.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, is after $500,000 in damages after a bad experience on the set of the movie.

He alleges that he was injured while filming a scene with Mia. In the scene, he laid on the ground playing a dead body. Mia reportedly “nearly stepped” on him at one point. She was alerted to the near miss, but the extra alleges that she “intentionally kicked” him during the following take.

The extra reportedly was left with a concussion but did not receive medical support on set. He said that he “nearly passed out twice” while driving home.

After the incident, he said that she “taunted, mocked and belittled” him in a bathroom.

He was reportedly let go from the project after the exchange.

Mia does not appear to have commented on the lawsuit yet. We’ll let you know if she does.

In a recent interview, Laura spoke about her bond with Taylor and what makes their friendship so special.

It appears like A$AP Rocky might be taking aim at Drake after he appeared to diss Rihanna on one of his songs.

The 35-year-old rapper and longtime partner of Rihanna linked up with Kid Cudi on a song called “Wow,” which arrived on Friday (January 12).

One line in particular appears to call out Drake, and some think that it might be a response to the other rapper’s song “Fear of Heights.”

If you forgot, Drake dropped his new album For All The Dogs in October, 2023. It featured a song called “Fear of Heights,” which appeared to put his ex Rihanna on blast.

“Why they make it sound like I’m still hung up on you,” Drake asks at the start of the song. “That could never be me / Gyal can’t ruin me / Better him than me / Better it’s not me.”

He then slams his sex life with the partner, rapping, “Yeah, and the sex was average with you / Yea, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you.” Later, he proclaims “I had way badder b-tches than you, TBH.”

The use of the word “anti” was thought to be a reference to the title of Rihanna‘s most recent album.

A few months later, A$AP‘s new song features the line “These n—as can’t stomach me. Gotta go get a mandrake.”

Of course, Drake is not mentioned by name.

However, mandrake is a plant that has been used to treat stomach issues. Some think that the reference might be a double entendre because Drake recently announced plans to take a break from music to treat some stomach issues.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) have been divided on the meaning of the song.

Some are pointing out that A$AP is saying “mandrake” instead of “man Drake.” Others seem to agree that the line was a purposeful reference.

One fan even argued that A$AP could have gone even harder, writing, “That mandrake bar by Rocky was trash considering how crazy Drake went at Rihanna.”

This would not be the first time that Drake has appeared to reference his very famous ex.

The movie Godzilla Minus One was a surprise success at the box office during the holiday season and it’s likely to continue to gain fans with the Godzilla surge in the media this year.

The Godzilla series Monarch: Legend of Monsters on Apple TV+ just wrapped its first season and the new movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will hit theaters in March.

Godzilla Minus One is a Japanese kaiju movie written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The film has a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes and has grossed $94 million worldwide so far.

The movie is set in post war Japan as the country is at its lowest point, when a new crisis emerges in the form of a giant monster, baptized in the horrific power of the atomic bomb.

Godzilla Minus One takes place right after WWII when Japan was considered to be at “zero” following the devastation cause by the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was believed that the country could never reach a lower point, but the movie makes that happen with Godzilla bringing terror to the country.

Since the movie puts Japan into a position lower than zero, it’s now “minus one.” That’s the meaning behind the title Godzilla Minus One.

Jonathan Majors got more bad news: He was dropped from another project following the guilty verdict in his assault and harassment lawsuit.

The 34-year-old actor will no longer play Dennis Rodman in the movie 48 Hours in Vegas. The decision comes after he was found guilty of one misdemeanor count of assault and one count of harassment in December 2023.

Variety confirmed the news, revealing that the movie has also been dropped by Lionsgate.

Jonathan was first tied to the project, which will document the basketball player’s trip to Las Vegas during the 1998 NBA finals, in late 2022. It was one of three projects that he was not instantly dropped from after his April 2023 arrest for assaulting then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

The decision comes a few weeks after Jonathan was dropped by Marvel Studios. The actor had been cast to play Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and had already played him in two projects before he was dropped.

The actor continues to deny assaulting Grace and revealed his thoughts about the verdict in a recent interview.

It’s unlikely that any actor will love all of the projects that they star in, and Kristen Stewart is no exception to the rule.

The 33-year-old Oscar nominee has starred in a variety of projects, from the Twilight saga to Spencer, the latter of which involved playing Princess Diana. However, during a recent interview, she revealed one project that she doesn’t have the fondest memories of filming.

In fact, she even said that she “hated” the process.

The movie in question was 2019′s Charlie’s Angels, a reboot she starred in with Elizabeth Banks, Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott.

While filming a segment with Variety, Kristen was presented with one of her lines from the movie, prompting her surprising revelation.

“It was a good idea at the time,” she said about the film, adding, “I hated making that movie. I don’t know what else to say to you.”

As for why, it seems that she didn’t love stepping on the legacy laid down by Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. The trio starred in another version of the Charlie’s Angels story back in the aughts.

“Honestly, the three… You can’t touch [that],” Kristen explained. “Like, Cameron, Lucy and Drew…I love that movie. I love that movie! If that says anything.”

Elizabeth, who also directed the movie, once acknowledged that Kristen wasn’t an obvious choice for her role in the movie.
