Tatiana Maslany is reflecting on her decision to publicly call out Disney CEO Bob Iger during the actors strike in 2023.

The 38-year-old actress portrays Jen Walters aka She-Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having made her debut in the 2022 Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

When Bob said that unions’ demands during the strike weren’t “realistic,” Tatiana responded by slamming the executive.

“He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money,” she told THR at the time. “Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of, and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”

Denzel Washington and Ilfenesh Hadera were spotted shooting the movie on Friday (April 19) in Brooklyn, New York. Spike was also photographed on set.

High and Low is a remake of Akira Kurosawa‘s 1963 crime thriller of the same name. The story follows a wealthy executive who is extorted when his family is pursued by a kidnapper. The original film was based on Ed McBain‘s novel The King’s Ransom.

Morgan Wallen is speaking out for the first time after he was arrested in Nashville almost two weeks ago.

The 30-year-old country singer was arrested on Sunday (April 7) after he allegedly threw a chair off of the roof of Chief’s Bar in Nashville, Tenn. Apparently, he laughed after he threw the chair off the roof, which sat six stories above a busy street.

The chair apparently hit the street about three feet away from some police officers. He was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment as well as disorderly conduct.

Morgan took to his X/Twitter account on Friday (April 19) to share an apology.

In a new interview with iHeartRadio, Taylor explained the meaning of the song. She says it “exhibits a lot of the common themes that run throughout this album, one of which being fatalism, longing, pining away, lost dreams.”

“I think it’s a very fatalistic album in that there are lots of very dramatic lines about life or death and I love you, it’s ruining my life. These are very hyperbolic, dramatic things to say,” she added. “But it’s that kind of album – it’s about a dramatic, artistic, tragic kind of take on love and loss.”

Taylor believes that the song takes place in an “American town where the American Dream you thought would happen to you didn’t. You ended up not with the person you loved and now you have to just live with that every day, wondering what would’ve been, maybe seeing them out. And that’s a pretty tragic concept, really. So I was just writing from that perspective.”

During an appearance on TheWrap’s UnWrapped podcast, she explained why she left Ilsa behind.

“To speak very clearly — because I know a lot of people are sad about it, I’m sad about it — I had filmed three films. My deal was done,” Rebecca stated. “And I love her beyond words. Beyond words. I think she’s the most awesome, fantastic character.”

The Dune star also revealed that she had an offer to reprise her role in a fourth Mission: Impossible film, but she turned down the opportunity because she felt that there wasn’t “enough space” for Ilsa’s character development.

“Ilsa was becoming a team player. And we all can want different things, but for me, Ilsa was rogue,” Rebecca said. “Ilsa was naughty. Ilsa was unpredictable. There was a lot of characters coming in, not leaving enough space for what she had been.”

Another reason behind Rebecca‘s Mission: Impossible exit related to the lengthy process of making the movies.

“Selfishly, that’s a lot of time to make a Mission film. And unless you’re going to have a lot of screen time, that’s a lot of time sitting around waiting to film a huge movie that could take over a year to film,” she explained. “It’s dedication.”

Rebecca continued, “There’s a moment where you think it needs to be worth it, not just to love the character and to embrace Tom and [McQuarrie] and the story. I want to work, man. I want to work. I don’t want to sit in a trailer and know that there’s maybe coming a scene in credits.”

According to THR, CSI: Vegas is averaging 6.4 million viewers per episode, while So Help Me Todd averages 6.3 million. Neither figure matched the network’s expectations, leading to the series’ cancellations.
