Subaru Trailseeker

The Subaru Trailseeker is the all-electric successor to the now-defunct Legacy Outback, which saw the Solterra stretched to provide more boot space, giving it more ways to enjoy it.

Starting at 5,390,000 Japanese Yen, plus additional costs, the first-ever Subaru Trailseeker is an all-electric sport utility wagon. It delivers the same capabilities as its shorter counterpart, the Solterra, but with a larger boot for storage. It is comparable to its Toyota equivalent, the bZ4X Touring.

At first glance, the Trailseeker resembles the recently facelifted Solterra released last year. However, it features an extended wheelbase and a unique rear design to set it apart. The Trailseeker is 140 mm longer and 20 mm taller, with overall dimensions of 4,830 mm in length and 1,670 mm in height. These changes increase the load compartment capacity by more than a third, adding an extra 148 liters for a total capacity of 600 liters. Sadly, like the Solterra, no yoke. Boo...

2027 Subaru Trailseeker

The Trailseeker features an upgraded electric powertrain with a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery (gross capacity). The front-wheel-drive version has a targeted maximum output of 224 PS, while the all-wheel-drive variant boasts an impressive 380 PS, making it the most powerful battery electric vehicle (BEV) offered by Subaru.

In terms of range, the front-wheel-drive model can achieve 734 km, while the all-wheel-drive version with Subaru's X-MODE is rated for 690 km.

Despite its increased cargo space, the Trailseeker drives like a typical crossover for everyday use. It benefits from features such as rack and pinion steering, front struts, rear double wishbone suspension, and ventilated disc brakes. While it may not deliver the exhilarating ride some might expect, it remains pleasant to drive and feels quite conventional.

Regarding safety, the Trailseeker is equipped with a variety of features, including Pre-Crash Safety, a Blind Spot Monitor, and Advanced Parking Assistance, among others.

The first-ever Subaru Trailseeker is the all-electric replacement to the now-defunct Legacy Outback, made for all walks of life, whether for business or leisure. Although more expensive than the MGS6, its high quality is what made it a standout. Yes, it's that familiar feeling since the Toyota bZ4X Touring equivalent a while back.

The Toyota Tundra is often seen as Toyota's response to American trucks like the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and RAM 1500. While it may never surpass the F-150 in sales, it has gained popularity among Republican-leaning Americans, particularly in red states, especially Texas, where it was made. Additionally, the Tundra has become a favored choice for competitors participating in the NASCAR Truck Series. Now, the Republican-leaning Toyota has officially arrived in Japan as an exclusive product of Toyota Mobility Tokyo, not as a grey import.

The fully-imported third-generation Toyota Tundra is now available in Japan exclusively from Toyota Mobility Tokyo, rather than as a grey import. This development is a gesture of goodwill towards Japan-US trade relations, especially considering the punishing tariffs on foreign imports to the US that were implemented during the Trump administration. In summary, this situation reflects the complexities of international trade.

The Toyota Tundra offered in the Japanese market is the 1794 Edition. Named after the Texas ranch where Toyota's San Antonio plant now sits, it features a unique brushed aluminum grille, 20-inch machine-finished wheels, and 1794 Edition badging. Judging by its size, it is the largest pickup truck Toyota has offered. It makes the upcoming Hilux look like a Tonka toy for tots.

Unlike past Toyota models that are imported from the U.S. (from the Avalon to the Pontiac Vibe-based Voltz), the Tundra is available only in left-hand-drive configurations. This design choice is made because the Tundra is considered too flashy for Japanese roads, where most vehicles are driven on the left side. The driver’s side of the Tundra is equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen that supports smartphone connectivity, a 12.3-inch TFT display, climate control features, USB-C ports, and more. In terms of comfort, it offers the same luxurious amenities found in high-end SUVs. Not bad for a truck priced at 12 million yen. It is offered only in a four-door CrewMax configuration with a 5.5-foot bed.

Powering the Tundra is the new V35A i-FORCE 3.4L Twin-Turbo V6 engine, producing 394PS of power and 649Nm of torque. It is mated exclusively with a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence and sequential shift mode.

The Tundra comes with a front double wishbone suspension, a rear coil spring multilink setup, ventilated disc brakes, and a part-time 4WD system. This versatile system allows drivers to switch between various settings, making it suitable for navigating Tokyo traffic or tackling off-road trails in Hokkaido. Additionally, it is equipped with advanced safety features, including the Panoramic View Monitor, Straight Path Assist, and the latest Toyota Safety Sense systems, among others.

The 12,000,000 Yen fully-imported Toyota Tundra is all about bringing its American blend to Japanese off-road enthusiasts with its macho exterior, luxury interior, technology, and the i-FORCE engine that can embarrass the Hilux by a long shot. Ready or not, this Texas treat is ready to roll.

As a result of the incident, five policemen were killed while three others were wounded and are currently being treated in the hospital.

- President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. said that the Philippines' good relations with oil-producing countries have been a great help in ensuring sufficient supply to the country. Alex Palou showcased his incredible determination by defeating Christian Rasmussen to win the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix. Graham Rahal secured third place on the podium. With this recent victory in Alabama, Palou has moved to just two points behind Kyle Kirkwood in the title standings, with scores of 156 to 154.

THREATS FROM NORTH KOREA: Webtoon by Korean Dictator's Grandson Surpasses 67 Million Views on Social Media

The webtoon series by Woo-won Chun has surpassed 67 million views after being serialized on social media over a three-month period.
Chun shared the milestone on Instagram on March 23, expressing gratitude to readers and saying he felt “surprised and overwhelmed” by the response. The series, titled Monggeul Toon, was published between December and early this year through his personal account.
Woo-won Chun is the 29-year-old grandson of former South Korean dictator Doo-hwan Chun, and he drew public attention after releasing the webtoon based on his childhood experiences.
From December 2025 to February 2026, Chun had been regularly posting webtoon episodes on his Instagram account (Korean media outlets report the webtoon appears to be AI-generated, but ANN could not confirm this information).
The webtoon portrays Chun himself as a white lamb named “Monggeuli,” while other members of the Chun family are depicted as black lambs with red eyes and horns. The family residence in Seoul's Yeonhui-dong is illustrated as a cold, fortress-like castle, visually reinforcing Chun's critical view of his family.
The episodes focus on Chun's early years and depict emotional and physical suffering he claims to have experienced within the family. Several scenes suggest abuse, including one in which Doo-hwan Chun is shown striking his grandson during a long car ride after the child complains of motion sickness.
The webtoon also addresses family conflicts involving Woo-won Chun's father, Jae-yong Chun, the second son of Doo-hwan Chun. Jae-yong Chun became a public figure after marrying actress Sang-ah Park in the United States while still legally married to Woo-won Chun's mother. In the webtoon, Chun depicts witnessing his father's extramarital relationship while his mother was undergoing cancer treatment.
Woo-won Chun previously made headlines in 2023 when he publicly accused his grandfather of being a “mass murderer” and pledged to expose crimes committed by his family. That same year, Woo-won Chun received a suspended prison sentence for drug-related charges.
Doo-hwan Chun was a former South Korean military general who ruled the country as an authoritarian leader from 1980 to 1988. He is widely regarded as a dictator and is most infamous for his role in the violent suppression of the 1980 Gwangju Uprising.

BMW's Neue Klasse era commences with the all-new iX3, the first model to embody the Neue Klasse design language of the renowned German luxury carmaker. This completely new vehicle marks a significant reset for BMW, beginning a new chapter. BMW is starting anew.

Starting at 70,900 Euros plus additional costs, the all-new BMW iX3 is the first BMW model of the Neue Klasse era, a paradigm shift for the luxury carmaker that promises back-to-its-roots design, cutting-edge technology, and electrified performance that is becoming the new normal.

Starting with its design, the iX3 takes cues from the 2024 Vision Neue Klasse X Concept, exemplifying the essence of the Neue Klasse design language. Although it looks awkward, the Neue Klasse kidney grille at the front is a nostalgic nod to the original 1962 Neue Klasse model. As for the rear, it looks like BMW has taken a dramatic approach.

The interior highlights the innovative features of the Neue Klasse technology. On the driver's side, the dashboard is complemented by a floating instrument panel that provides real-time information. This system, known as the BMW Panoramic iDrive, operates on BMW's proprietary Operating System X and can be customized through a touch screen that controls nearly all aspects of the vehicle. Additionally, it includes the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which responds to voice commands when you say "Hey BMW." While this feature is convenient, the replacement of traditional buttons on the steering wheel with haptic touch panels can be frustrating.

Boasting a 2897mm wheelbase and 2093mm width, the spacing is nearly as good as the ICE-powered BMW X3 G45. As for the boot space, the iX3 can fit up to 520 litres with the rear seats present, up to 1750 litres with the passenger seats folded down. That's more than you get from the X3.

The iX3's hallmark electric powertrain is the dual-motor setup that grants it all-wheel-drive capability and a 108.7 kWh lithium battery. It produces 469PS of power and 645Nm of torque. It will go from 0-100kph in less than five seconds and flat out in 210kph. Not bad for an EV SUV with a permissible total weight of nearly three tons.

In terms of driving range, this vehicle can travel up to 805 kilometers on a full charge based on WLTP standards. At a public charging station, it will take approximately 21 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. If you choose to charge at home, it will take about 660 minutes using an 11 kW charging station or 345 minutes with the more expensive 22 kW charging station. Like all good electric cars, the iX3 has V2L and V2H capabilities, making it useful as a secondary power source.

The Neue Klasse BMW iX3 is a remarkable vehicle, showcasing what BMW refers to as its "Heart of Joy." This feature works seamlessly with the BMW Dynamic Performance Control software, creating a unique driving experience. However, the effectiveness of this experience is somewhat questionable. Additionally, the BMW Symbiotic Drive system manages the new-generation driver assistance technologies, boasting 20 times greater processing power than previous versions. These advanced "superbrains" demonstrate that AI is increasingly integrated into the driving experience, which raises some concerns.

With the introduction of the Neue Klasse BMW iX3, BMW is embarking on a new journey, as they have stated. Featuring a design that harkens back to its roots, along with advanced technology and electrified performance, BMW has indeed pressed the reset button as it welcomes a new era with this vehicle.

The tripleheader weekend of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series ends with the Goodyear 400 at the track that's Too Tough To Tame, a major test for the season's higher-horsepower, lower-aero, high-wear tire package.

As the green flag waved, the action in Darlington began. As Brad Keselowski won Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Hamlin and Jones make contact, causing the latter to slide. As Keselowski nabs Stage 2, the final stage saw Tyler Reddick get into Chris Buescher while the No.17 was attempting to come to pit road.
