Are you looking for the best deals on flights?

There are tons of websites that can help with this, but I found three that is a little less known but well worth checking out.

Set up last minute low cost route alerts for free.

This website has some of the lowest prices on last-minute flights, which saves you money! Below are the best site for last-minute flights to anywhere.

1. Booking.com

Booking.com is a website for travelers to find accommodations in different parts of the world. It has properties that offer free cancellations, making it easy for you to change your booking at anytime! When using this app, bookers save 10% when they book 2 stays within two years.

2. Last Minute Travel

There are many websites that you can use to find last-minute deals on accommodation. They usually provide very low prices, based on guest reviews and star ratings. Some of these sites require a membership for full access to the site’s features, but there is a no-cost trial available in order to see if it is worth signing up for.

3. Hopper App

Hopper is a great website for last-minute flights. It gives you push notifications about recent searches and offers intelligent predictions on the best time to book, as well as predicting flight prices.

A lot of times you can find last minute flight deals for airlines such as WizzAir too.

Is it cheaper to wait last minute to book a flight?

This is a question that has many different answers, depending on the situation. Generally speaking, if you have more flexibility in your timing and are willing to spend more money then it may be cheaper to wait. If you are traveling for a specific event, such as a vacation or a sporting event, you may want to book early in order to ensure your seat and your trip is enjoyable.

How can I get cheap flights for the day?

The best way to find cheap flights for the day is to do a search on Skyscanner, which will give you all the available flights from your location. You can then filter these flights by price to find the ones that are cheapest.

Do flight prices go up the more you search?

No, flight prices do not go up the more you search.

How can hacker fares save me money?

Do flight prices go up the more you search?

It might seem like it. If a lot of people are looking for flights, then chances are that the price will be higher than if only a few people are looking.

A hacker fare is an airfare that is not listed on the airline website, but has already been purchased by someone else who they can’t use it. This is because the airline company has a limit on how many seats it can sell at one time.

What’s the most expensive day of the week to fly?

The most expensive day to fly is typically Saturday.

What are your thoughts on the fees airlines charge?

Airlines charge a lot of different fees, but they’re not necessarily all bad.

I would say that the more fees you are charged, the less likely it is that airlines will be profitable.

For example, if an airline charges for checked bags and meals on board, it is more likely that the airline will struggle to make a profit.

Conclusion

There are a lot of people who would disagree with me, but I think the more fees you have on an airline ticket, the less likely it is that they will be profitable.

The more fees you have on an airline ticket, the less likely it is that they will be profitable.

Pandemic hasn’t stopped life. We still have to go abroad on business and personal trips. But now, we are to follow multiple new rules to stop the virus from uncontrolled spreading. They can seem a nuisance, but safety measures are essential to fight a pandemic. If you plan to leave the Canada borders, study the requirements for travelers thoroughly.

General Rules on Testing

The major part of instructions refers to the tests and documentation you need to cross different countries’ borders. We compiled the rules of Canadian authorities regarding COVID testing.

Requirements for Returning

They are different for vaccinated and not vaccinated residents. If you made proper vaccination and spent less than 72 hours outside the country, you don’t need to undergo tests to re-enter Canada. If you leave the borders for a long time or didn’t undergo vaccination, you’ll have to show proves of testing taken 14 to180 days before the day of your arrival at the border.

Upload the results of the tests in the app called ArriveCAN at least 72 hours before your visit to the country or show the official certificates on the border. Don’t ignore the health monitoring questions you will receive while entering Canada, and keep in mind that you can be randomly selected for control testing.

How to Find a Testing Location in a Foreign Country

Today, it’s enough to google “PT PCR test near me,” and you’ll receive the list of certified facilities. We recommend doing research in advance and determining the location of corresponding medical centers. It will save you from unpleasant surprises.

Rules for Air Travelling

You have to demonstrate test results on the stage of flight check-in. If you don’t have test results, you can do them upon arrival, but in this case, you’ll have to stay in quarantine before tests are ready. The same is true for the situation of positive results. In any case, you must act in accordance with the guidelines of the Quarantine Officer.

DIY COVID-19 Tests

You can easily purchase special kits for self-testing. If you make everything right, they can give valuable data on your health state. Unfortunately, you can’t use the results of such tests as official proof. It means that from the point of view of border officials, such test results are useless.

Personal Safety Rules

Certificates and necessary documentation don’t mean that you can forget about safeguard measures. Keep recommended social distance at the airport or train station and carefully wash your hands. Wear a properly designed or medical mask in public and change it every 2-3 hours depending on the mask kind. Protective gloves are a good protective measure too. Specialists advise using a sanitizer after visiting public places. These means of protection are enough to prevent virus infection.

In conclusion, we want to remind you that violations of the rules for crossing the Canadian border can lead to big fines, but it’s not the worst consequence. Your negligence of certain instructions can cause a virus outbreak. Be responsible, and together we will stop the pandemic.

I love Acer and I hate McDonald’s, things are plain and simple. But what if a company makes me love them and hate them at the same time? Can I ignore the bad things and love them anyway, or should I only see the bad things and ignore all the good things about them?

During the past few years, I’ve been using Wizz Air quite frequently, for at least 3-4 return flights per year. They are cheap, on time and sometimes they are the only airline that flies to my destination! I’ve been using them since 2007 and everything went smoothly most of the times. On time flights, no lost luggage, no cancellations, no overbooking. These are the reasons why I LOVE WIZZ AIR!

Since I’ve been flying Wizz Air often, I subscribed to their “Wizz Discount Club“. The subscription costs €30 and helps you save up to €10 per passenger per one-way flight, for yourself and all those traveling with you. I purchased it in November 2012 and it was supposed to last for one year.

Two months later, when I tried to book a flight ticket, I found that the prices were displayed without any discount and my account showed “Your Wizz Discount Club membership has expired.“. Like most low-cost airlines, Wizz Air only has expensive contact phone numbers, so calling them would have probably cost me much more than I was willing to spend, especially since it was THEIR FAULT. Since the discount I could get for this flight as a “Wizz Discount Club” member was €30 (which was exactly the cost of a new subscription), I decided to buy a new subscription along with the ticket and to try to solve the problem by email later on.

On the 18th of January, I sent the first email to Wizz Air (see the email addresses below), explaining the situation and asking them to “solve this problem by reactivating my old subscription and reimbursing me the money I paid for the new one“. I got no reply.

On the 23rd of January, I sent them a “gentle reminder”! On the 28th I sent them a second one, then yet another one. I also sent a complaint to the Wizz Air Customer Service, and got no reply. But I kept on sending them reminders every 2-3 days. These are the moments when I HATE WIZZ AIR.

After the 6th reminder (yes, you read well!), 24 days after my first email, I finally got a reply from them, saying that the problem had been caused by the fact that I had “2 registered profiles with the same e-mail address“. They accepted my request and offered to refund the money to my bank account and to merge my 2 accounts. Everything looked very simple!

After they had merged my 2 accounts, I tried to login, but the old password didn’t work. I tried to reset my password using the “Forgot your password?” procedure, but didn’t receive any email in the following 24 hours. It goes without saying that I checked the SPAM folder too. So I emailed Wizz Air again…

To my surprise, I got a very fast reply (after only 3 days) and I was again able to use my account. Wizz Air solved my problem exactly 1 month after my first email, on the 18th of February. On the 22nd of February I received the €30 refund in my bank account.

Wizz Air is a good low cost airline. I like flying with them and I recommend them to everybody. But I hope you won’t ever have to deal with their customer support! I needed their help twice: both times they solved my problem, but they replied only after many gentle reminders.

If you ever need to email them in the future, you can use the email addresses below:
– Customer.RelationsBUD@wizzair.com (they reply from this email)
– customerrelations.bud@wizzair.com
– helpdesk@wizzair.com
– customerrelations@wizzair.com
December 2015 update: Wizzair now provides a basic rate number, (+44) 0330 365 4902 (charged at local rates in UK), for existing bookings only (thanks 197jdm)!

I suggest you to send the email to all 4 of them and to CC yourself on the email. Also, keep sending them gentle reminders every 2-3 days. In the end, they will probably reply and solve your problem!

If you had a problem with Wizz Air and managed to get it solved faster please leave a comment and explain how you did that. We may all learn from it!

If you know your destination, flight period and airline about 1 year in advance, you can save a lot of money by booking your flight tickets as soon as possible. And this is where we can really help you. LowCostRoutes.com can’t book your tickets for you, but we can inform you as soon as they are released, either by email or by SMS. Even if the process of setting up the alerts is not very complex, some users have asked for help and I have decided to publish this short step-by-step guide.

1. Visit the flight alert page – http://www.lowcostroutes.com/en/flights_alert
If you are already logged into your account, when you check the field at the bottom of the page (Mobile phone for SMS Alert) you will see a drop down menu with the option “No sms alert”. In this case go to step 4. Otherwise, if you see the message “Registered members only (free service)” continue to step 2.

2. Login to your account.
Click the Login icon in the top right corner of any page. You will then see the “Login” and “Register now” forms. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials and continue to step 4. Otherwise, register for a new account using your name and email, as shown below:

3. Validate your account.
After filling in the registration form and clicking on “Register now”, you will see a confirmation message and you will receive a validation email in your email account. Check your email account, find the email we sent you and click on the validation link.

After you validate your account by clicking on the link, we will send you a second email with your access password. Keep it in a safe place and go to the next step.

4. Check if your phone number was already validated.
Visit the Flight Alert page http://www.lowcostroutes.com/en/flights_alert. In the field at the bottom of the page (Mobile phone for SMS Alert) you will see a drop down menu with the option “No sms alert” selected. Click on it. If you see your mobile phone number there, continue to step 7. Otherwise click on the “add a new phone” link.

5. Add mobile phone.
In the “add a new phone” page, enter the mobile phone number where you would like to receive the SMS Flight Alert and click “Add”. Please note that the number should include the country code (e.g.: +44) and that you should generally remove the leading zero.

6. Validate your phone number
You should receive an SMS from us within 5 minutes of adding a new phone number. The SMS should look like “Validation code: XXX. SMS sent by LowCostRoutes.com, to our user John.Doe@gmail.com.”. Please enter the validation code you received by SMS in the phone validation page, as shown below:

If you haven’t received the validation SMS within 10 minutes, please double- check the phone number. If it is correct, delete it and try to insert it again. If you still don’t receive the SMS, please contact us so that we can investigate further.

Once the phone number is validated, you will be able to set up SMS Flight Alerts from your account.

7. Set up the SMS Flight Alert
Visit the Flight Alert page http://www.lowcostroutes.com/en/flights_alert. In the last field (Mobile phone for SMS Alert) you will see a drop down menu with the option “No sms alert”. Click on it and select the mobile phone number where you would like to receive the SMS Flight Alert. Fill in the details of your request: the airline, the departure and destination airports and the week of your desired flight. Your name and email should be already filled in, so just submit the request.

You should receive an email confirmation for your request. If you receive an error message stating “You have already registered an alert for this flight”, please visit the my flight alerts page and delete the old request.

8. Make sure you receive our Flight Alerts
As you probably know even the emails that you are expecting can sometimes be delivered to your SPAM folder. This is not because we are sending out SPAM emails (because we never do that), but because when Easyjet releases the flight schedule, we have to send out an unusually high number of emails in the shortest possible time, and this may be interpreted by SPAM filters as a SPAM activity. The only way to make sure you receive our emails in your inbox is to add our email address to your address book. So please add our email address (the one from which we sent you the confirmation email) to your address book, in order to show your email provider that our emails are important to you.

Easyjet can release the flights at any time, even during the night, so we may try to send you the SMS during the night. If you don’t want to be disturbed during the night, please turn off your phone or put it on airplane mode during the night.
If you want to receive the SMS regardless of the hour, please don’t turn off your phone during the night. Keep it at within reach (or even in a different room), but make sure that you will be able to hear it and wake up, as the price may increase considerably by the time you wake up the next morning.
