<p>I rarely publish personal experiences on this blog but this time I decided to make an exception. The main reason being the unfairness of the Internet and how it can sometimes harm a business or person without a valid reason.</p>
<p>Let me explain.</p>
<p>I was looking to buy an engagement ring. I’m pretty confident of making online purchases so my only thought was to buy the ring online.</p>
<p>I started like everyone by searching Google and making notes of the different rings from the various retailers. My budget was about $2500 and I needed something to be great looking and of course I wanted to buy a real diamond and not something that was manmade or artificial.</p>
<p>I have spent a lot of time researching and reading about diamonds and narrowed down my options to 2 possible shops. One of them was <strong><a href="https://www.nataliediamonds.com/">Natalie Diamonds</a></strong> and the other one <strong><a href="https://www.jamesallen.com/">James Allen</a></strong>.</p>
<p>To be able to make a decision I created the same type of ring, with the same options (carat, clarity, etc.) on both websites to compare the prices.</p>
<p>It turned out that for the same type of ring, Natalie Diamonds was about $240 cheaper than James Allen. The James Allen price was $3,110 and Natalie Diamonds price was $2,859.</p>
<p>The ring I have selected was a six-prong round cut ring (0.70 carats, G-VS2).</p>
<p>Before hitting the buy now button, I also looked into other things like free shipping, coupon codes, lifetime warranty, money back options, diamond certificate etc.</p>
<p>Both companies offered the same things with the exception that Natalie Diamonds was giving $250 discount on first purchase while James Allen was $100. They also had different diamond certificates but this was too technical for me to understand, both certificates looked valid and legitimate.</p>
<p>To cut a long story short, I decided to purchase my ring from Natalie Diamonds. My total savings were $340, and that was a good reason for me to select this shop and not the other.</p>
<p>Just before entering my payment details, I realized that one of the things I did not do was to search for reviews and purchase experiences.</p>
<p>So, I started another round, searching google for “Natalie Diamonds Reviews” and “James Allen Reviews”.</p>
<p>What I found surprised me and this is the reason I’m writing this post today.</p>
<p>I read both good and bad reviews for both companies (see here <a href="http://www.ivouch.com/nataliediamonds-com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Natalie Diamonds Reviews</strong></a>) but a couple of posts grabbed my attention. Some single threaded posts in some forums had some really bad reviews about Natalie Diamonds so I decided to investigate the matter more.</p>
<p>I didn’t want to give up easily and spend $300+ more for a product I could get in a better price, so I called their support.</p>
<p>I explained to them what I was looking for and what I have read in the forums. They were kind and patient enough to answer all my questions and I was convinced that it was a Legit business and 100% safe.</p>
<p>30 Days later, I got my ring and took it to a local jeweller to get an appraisal. Everything was as expected. The ring is gorgeous, authentic and the diamond is certified.</p>
<p><strong>So, what is the meaning of all this?</strong></p>
<p>It has to do about the Internet and how it can damage a brand’s reputation because some people (sometimes deliberately), post bad reviews for a company (or product), without giving them the chance to defend themselves.</p>
<p>When I asked Natalie Diamonds support why they did not respond to the bad reviews, they told me that they couldn’t because the threads were closed! They told me that the persons complaining never reached their support and instead they have chosen to do this online without warnings. They also told me that they tried to get in touch with them to verify their purchase and discuss about their complaint but they did not receive any replies back.</p>
<p>This is not fair and this is why I used this blog to tell my experience.</p>
<p>I’m a small business owner myself and I couldn’t but think how bad it would feel and what damage it can do for my business if the same thing happens to me. You strive to have good reviews from trusted companies like BBB, Trust Pilot, Facebook, Google and everything can go way because an un-confirmed customer goes online and says whatever they want, in badly moderated forums, without proof of purchase and without giving you the opportunity to offer a solution to their problem.</p>
<p>I’m not affiliated with them or have any relationship whatsoever. After talking with them I felt that this is unfair treatment and since there is no way to get around this, I wrote this review to help other people make a decision based on facts and not on possibly spammy reviews you can read anywhere on the Internet without moderation or respect.</p>

<p>Withdrawal symptoms and length can vary.  Some people may experience sugar withdrawal symptoms for a few days, but it may also last up to a few weeks for some people.</p>

<h2>Sugar cravings</h2>
<p>One of the most obvious signs of any withdrawal is the desire to go back to your addiction.  With sugar withdrawal, you can get strong cravings for the sugar you are trying to avoid.</p>
<p><strong>How can you resist sugar cravings through withdrawal?</strong>  It may not be easy, but following these steps can help.</p>

<p>Moreover, it would provide a financial security to anyone who would be harmed or injured during the investigation. In case of injury, the bond company will investigate and if valid, will compensate the claim of third parties. This will be later reimbursed from the company. Therefore, it’s a form of protection and insurance against any calamity.</p>
<h2>4. Does he have a necessary experience?</h2>
<p>You should be properly aware about the experience of PI before hiring him/her in your case. You don’t want to hire an inexperienced PI, which will not aid to your cause. In addition, different PI have different area of expertise, and you don’t want to hire the wrong one.</p>

<p>Before getting into the actual techniques you can use and to <b>prove</b> that what you will read below works, let me mention that I used the same promotion methods for <a href="http://www.caloriesecrets.net/" target="_blank"><b>Calorie Secrets</b></a>, a fitness blog that generates more than <b>400 thousand visitors per month</b>.</p>
<p>This is not the first time I wrote about this, I explained how the traffic went from 0 to 250K per month <a href="https://www.reliablesoft.net/how-to-build-a-successful-blog-with-more-than-250000-unique-visits-per-month-case-study/" target="_blank"><b>here</b></a> and also how it went over the 400K milestone <a href="http://www.digitalmarketingpro.net/how-to-increase-blog-traffic-to-400k-visitors-per-month-case-study-398/" target="_blank"><b>in this post</b></a>.</p>
<h2><b>How to get more readers for your blog posts</b></h2>
<p><b>#1 &#8211; Content comes first</b></p>
<p>You probably read about this a hundred times before but it is true that when it comes to website or blog success content comes first. You can use any techniques or tools you want to drive traffic to a website but if the content is not good, you cannot go far.</p>
<p><i>What do we mean by good content?</i> Many people misunderstand this statement and believe that good content can only be produced by professional writers or successful bloggers.</p>
<p>Anyone can write good content provided that:</p>
<ul>
<li>It is meaningful for the reader</li>
<li>It offers solid advice or assistance for a problem</li>
<li>It is grammatically correct with good spelling</li>
<li>It is unique; meaning that it is something that is not already published on the web</li>
<li>It is interesting and worth mentioning or sharing</li>
</ul>
<p><i>How do you write good content?</i> Have you heard the phrase ‘practice makes perfect’ before? The same applies for content writing as well. Don’t expect to be able to create interesting posts from day 1, it takes time, repetition and effort to find your writing ‘voice’ and ‘tone’.</p>
<p>Some tips to help you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Write about topics you know well</li>
<li>Do your research before starting a new post and understand what others are writing about the particular topic.</li>
<li>When you finish a post don’t hit the publish button immediately. Leave the post in draft mode and read it the next day and make any necessary changes.</li>
<li>Avoid long sentences and try to aim for short paragraphs. This makes reading and writing easier.</li>
<li>Break your posts into parts (introduction, main body, conclusion).</li>
<li>Use headings and subheadings to break the ‘main body’ part into smaller sections.</li>
<li>Create a draft outline (basically decide on the main headings) before start writing.</li>
</ul>
<p><i>How do you know that the content you create is good?</i> The best way to test that your content is good is to share it on your social media channels. If you get interactions to the post (comments, shares, likes, tweets etc) then it is a good sign that people like the post.</p>
<p>If your social media following is not big, i.e. you don’t have a lot of followers on twitter or Facebook you can always use Facebook’s ‘boost post’ or Twitter’s ‘promoted tweets’ to get your posting in front of more people.</p>
<p><b>#2 &#8211; Build and maintain a publishing schedule</b></p>
<p>Once you are confident that you can create good content, the next step is to come up with a publishing schedule and stick to it persistently for a long time.</p>
<p>A publishing schedule is a simple plan that indicates the days and times you will publish new posts on your blog.</p>
<p>For most types of blogs (fitness blogs, productivity blogs, how-to blogs etc), <b>posting 3 times per week</b> is more than enough. For blogs that are more into news i.e. fashion, lifestyle, tech, it may be necessary to blog more often.</p>
<p>How often should you blog also depends on what your competitors are doing. If the other blogs or websites in your niche publish content on a daily basis or several times per week, it may be necessary to follow a similar pattern in order to stay competitive.</p>
<p><b>#3 &#8211; Create long in-depth articles</b></p>
<p>Another technique that will get you more readers is to provide users with long in-depth articles. This is especially important if you are maintaining a blog that provides advice, tips or answers to questions.</p>
<p>The benefits of doing so are a lot. First you will keep you users happy because they will find what they want and second you increase your chances of getting higher rankings in search engines since they like to have (especially Google), good in-depth content in their index.</p>
<p><i>How long should you make your blog posts?</i> Several studies show that the average number of words in the first pages of Google is 1500. While this depends on the niche and type of articles, it seems that long articles perform better than shorter.</p>
<p>Besides rankings, studies also show that in-depth articles get more social media shares and engagement.</p>
<p>I know that it is difficult to keep producing good and long content consistently so if you have to choose between quantity and quality, go with quality. In other words if you cannot produce 3 1500+ articles per week, instead of publishing something for the sake of keeping your publishing schedule, better go for 2 articles per week that will offer more value to your blog in the long term.</p>
<p><b>#4 &#8211; Help search engines to find your content easily</b></p>
<p>Your blog success depends on search engines and to be more precise it depends on Google. If you manage to reach a point where you get constant traffic from Google search, then everything else becomes easier.</p>
<p>Google traffic performs better than any other type of traffic because it is more targeted. Visitors coming from the Google search box are more likely to become subscribers and long-time readers to your blog (provided of course that they like what they see).</p>
<p><i>How do you get more traffic from Google?</i> There are many things that you have to do besides what already explained above. To start with, you need to make sure that your website is SEO optimized. On-page SEO is the keyword for this case. Things like your page titles and descriptions, your content headings, the alt tag for images, your website speed, the keyword density within the text are some areas you need to optimize so that Google can understand your content better.</p>
<p>Then there is also off-page SEO. Off-page SEO has to do with signals you can send to Google, that will help them trust your blog. The most common type of a ‘signal’ are links pointing to your blog from other blogs or websites. You can consider links as ‘votes of trust’ which are used by Google to determine which sites to show in the first page of their search results.</p>
<p>Link building is a huge topic and something that you need to do with real care but as a rule of thumb don’t try to create hundreds of low quality links but instead concentrate on a few high quality links that will make a difference. Choose carefully where to promote your website and get a link back and remember that the more difficult is to get a link, the more value it has.</p>
<p><b>#5 &#8211; People use mobile more than desktop</b></p>
<p>It is a fact that mobile searches are now more than the desktop. This means that people while on the go are looking for information and they need to get it in a mobile friendly way. As of April 21, 2015 Google rewards mobile friendly websites and this simply means that if you don’t have a mobile friendly website you have less chances of getting traffic from mobile searches on Google.</p>
<p><i>What you need to do? </i>To ensure that your website is mobile friendly and that the content you provide can be read on any mobile with ease. Google has this <a href="https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/" target="_blank"><b>great tool</b></a> which will tell you if your blog is mobile friendly and what to do in case it is not. Note that mobile friendliness is accessed on a page-by-page basis so make sure that you check all pages of your website and not just the home page.</p>
<p><b>#6 &#8211; Social is a fast way to get more readers but it’s not always that easy</b></p>
<p>Last but not least, one fo the ways to increase your readership is to go social. In other words by correctly promoting your content in the plethora of social networks you can start getting more readers until SEO will bring in organic traffic.</p>
<p>There is a great myth about social media marketing and this is something that you need to have clear in your mind. Don’t expect that you will get thousands of visits by just posting your content on your social media pages. It’s not that simple.</p>
<p>When you post something on your Facebook business page, this is only seen by aprx. 10% of your readers. So if you have 1000 followers on your page, your message will be seen by no more than a 100 people. Most probably these people will not even notice it since their timeline is loaded with tens of posts and messages by their friends.</p>
<p>The same is with twitter, pinterest, google+ and the other major social platforms. The trick here is to use other ways to ensure that your postings will be seen by more people and the easiest way to do that is through advertizing. There is some cost involved but it is an effective way to get your posts in front of more readers.</p>
<p>Facebook has a feature called ‘Boost post’ which you can use to promote individual posts, and Twitter has ‘promoted tweets’. Experiment with those and see what kind of results you can get. You don’t need to spend a lot of money $10 on each for a couple of days in enough to boost your posts. You don’t (and shouldn’t) do this for all your posts but only for your best pieces.</p>

<p>Older adults who are healthy can follow these same guidelines. However, older adults who feel that they cannot meet these guidelines due to chronic conditions should try to be as physically active possible.</p>

<p>Basically, when you are fatigued, you are exhausted!  You just cannot find the energy to do anything, and this can affect your daily life, from work to home and social situations.  When you fight fatigue, you get that energy back so that you can perform at your best, no matter what the job entails.</p>
<h2>Fight Fatigue by lowering your carb intake</h2>
<p>Simple carbohydrates cause a sugar crash. These simple carbohydrates, which are found in sugary snacks, cereals, sugar-laden drinks, white bread and so forth, actually spike the body&#8217;s blood sugar, and when that blood sugar dips, the body crashes.</p>
<p>Try not to start your day with simple carbs, and try cutting back on carbohydrates all together. Too often, they make the body feel lethargic. Instead, start your day with protein and fiber.</p>
<p>Reach for an apple with peanut butter, ham and eggs, or even salmon!  Protein shakes are often perfect for those who skip breakfast because they do not like to eat solid foods in the morning.</p>
<p>Treat breakfast like dinner and really reap the benefits.  Protein revs the body and fiber helps to get rid of any toxins in the body, so these two are powerhouses at breakfast.</p>
<p>Eat right and see how great your day can begin.  Fight fatigue as soon as you get up in the morning by simply eating breakfast the right way.</p>
<p>Snacking during the day can help regulate and maintain your blood sugar, keeping your energy up. Again, skip those carbohydrates, but there are some healthy (and delicious) snack foods that will keep your energetic.</p>
<p>If you do not snack, this could be a cause of fatigue right there. Keep the body alert, and the metabolism up, by snacking on mixed nuts, peanut butter and apple slices, a bag of chickpeas or dried peas, or maybe carrot sticks and hummus.</p>
<p>Find something you like and enjoy!  Even dark chocolate (look for high percentages of dark chocolate, such as 85% because the higher the percentage, the lower the sugar content) with peanut butter (or almond butter, or whatever nut butter you prefer) is a healthy choice!</p>

These nutrients will work to support the body&#8217;s overall health. <h2>Eat Fatty Foods or Burnt Toast</h2>
<p>Start with a greasy breakfast (or brunch, depending upon when you wake up). You may have heard this advice in the past, but thought it was just an old wives&#8217; tale (or the musings of a crazy college student, hoping to pass off pizza as breakfast).</p>
<p>The reason a greasy breakfast works is because fat slows the body&#8217;s absorption of alcohol. You can always eat a fatty meal before you go out drinking, or even as you drink, but again, if you forget, eating a fatty meal first thing can help.  Tried a fried breakfast or even that leftover pizza.</p>
<p>If you do remember to eat a fatty meal before you drink, note that the fat will sit in your body and line your intestines for about 12 hours. This makes the absorption of alcohol much slower, and the effects of the alcohol will not be as tough on the body.</p>
<p>Additionally, with that fatty breakfast, have some burnt toast! That&#8217;s right, burnt.  Make sure to burn that bread. Why?  Because the carbon is in the burnt part of the toast, and carbon filters out impurities.  So, this will help to filter out the alcohol, fast.  Try two pieces while you are at it.</p>

<h2>Waiting Rooms and Lines</h2>
<p>When you have to wait, whether it be in a waiting room at the doctor&#8217;s office or standing in line at the post office, make good use of your time.  Bring a book with you everywhere (or your e-reader) or even paperwork you need to get done.  Need to write a thank you note?
