My Experience

The kneading rollers focus beautifully on the arches and heels while the airbags gently squeeze the tops of your feet. On high compression, it can be intense in a good way. I like to start low and increase slowly. The heat is mild and soothing. The liners zip out for washing if you don’t like the idea of sharing foot items with others in your house. I store mine right on a shelf with my other massage tools. I don’t care for things that take up a lot of space, but this fits in neatly and doesn’t take up much room. I already own one Mountrax foot massager and this one seems smaller and easier to store.

The Dealbreaker: The Carrying Case Lottery

Here’s the major flaw: you have no reliable way of knowing if your TOLOCO massage gun will come with a carrying case. You may only get the box it comes in.

After reading countless Amazon reviews and purchasing two different units myself (as of September 2025), it’s clear the packaging is inconsistent.

We have different versions of massage guns, some with a carrying case and some without.

After checking your order, the massage guns you bought do not include a carrying case. 

For me, the lack of a guaranteed case is a dealbreaker. Here’s why it might be for you, too:

1. It’s a Gift-Giving Nightmare: A case provides the premium presentation that makes it feel like a complete, thoughtful product. Without it, it can look cheap since the recipient will have to carry a cardboard box around if they want to take it somewhere with the attachments.
2. It Kills Portability: Want to take it to the gym, to the office, or on a trip? Without a case, you’re left juggling the gun, a charging cable, and 10 small attachments in a duffel bag. It’s impractical.
3. It Creates Clutter: The single biggest reason a case is essential is organization. 10 massage heads will inevitably get lost in a drawer or closet. A case keeps everything you need in one organized place.

I hope TOLOCO sees this review and clearly states on their product descriptions which versions come with a case, and which do not. At this point, it is not clear on their product descriptions. And many reviews for the massage guns I purchased, showed people with their cases. So going off reviews alone, does not mean you will receive one with a case.

So, do you buy the #1 bestseller? It all comes down to your priorities.

DEFINITELY BUY the TOLOCO massage gun for you if:

• Price is your #1 priority. You simply will not find better raw massage performance for this low of a price.
• You will only use it at home. If it’s never going to leave your house, portability isn’t an issue.
• You have your own storage solution. If you have a dedicated bag or drawer and don’t mind the clutter of loose parts, then the lack of a case won’t bother you.

You should AVOID the TOLOCO massage gun if:

I’ve tested my fair share of massage guns, from large, bulky professional ones to smaller travel-friendly versions. But this is hands down the smallest massage gun I’ve tried so far. At under 5 inches tall, it isn’t a novelty item, I can see that this mini massage gun deserves its place on my self care shelf or travel bag.

If you’re looking for a massage gun to toss in your bag for work, travel, or post-workout relief, this super mini massage gun is worth checking out — especially since it’s under $50 (and FSA/HSA eligible).

Why Consider This Super Mini Massage Gun?

I will be honest — small massage guns can be hit or miss. I have tried a few. Some are weak and vibrate more than massage. But this one surprised me. No, it’s not going to replace your full-size massage gun when you’re dealing with deep knots or need serious stall force.

7mm Stroke Depth with over 17 lbs of Stall Force – While the super mini is probably not going to deliver the deep tissue level pressure or power like big massage guns for those of you that like a lot of pressure, it’s enough for a satisfying massage. There were a couple places on my glutes that I was very impressed with the power (and I like A LOT of pressure). This is great for daily tension relief and your problem areas. If you do not like a lot of pressure, then this massage gun will likely be plenty for you.

Battery Life and Charging – The battery states that it lasts around 5 hours per charge.

Noise Level – You could easily use this in an office, airport, or hotel room without turning to many heads.

Since then, we have seen the exponential rise of smartphone usage and the potential for repetitive strain injuries like has only increased.

• Dupuytren’s Contracture: This condition causes the fingers to bend towards the palm and can make it difficult to straighten them. It is caused by thickening of the tissue under the skin in the palm.
