Intro:

Welcome to our first annual State of the GAME update. In this brief write up we’ll cover some of the developments we saw in 2020 as well as some teasers of what’s to come in 2021. If you’re subscribed to our monthly newsletter you may have already read many of these points. If not, join up! GAME Credits was formed with a new team in 2020, building off of the infrastructure left by previous teams. In April 2020 this was formally announced to the public as NovaToken merged with GameCredits to form the new GAME Credits. Read more about the acquisition here, as well as the NovaToken (NVT) and GameCredits (GAME) merge into GAME Credits.

We have continued working on our technical offering, the GAME Credits Platform, throughout the process of this transition. Our bottom line has always been to empower players and developers and bring tokenization and blockchain to the gaming world. 2020, while full of challenges, has brought us significantly closer to achieving that goal.

Here’s just a handful of additional highlights from 2020:

What’s Next?

While we can’t supply an official date, the heavy lifting involved for the launch of the GAME Exchange is finished and we expect this key feature of the platform to be released in the near future. This will allow users of the portal (games, developers, and GAMErs) to buy, sell, and trade collectibles directly.

2021 will be an exciting year for GAME Credits as we work towards the full launch of our platform with all intended functionality. As the blockchain industry continues to embrace NFTs and gaming we find ourselves in an enviable position with a robust technology stack covering almost every facet imaginable in the gaming and NFT ecosystem. This will foster new relationships with partners and help us deliver the best collection of games, NFTs, and the functionality between them in the industry.

Good day GAME faithful and welcome to another installment of the monthly update here at GAME HQ. This has again been one of the busiest months in company history as we’ve rounded off our next feature release! Let’s dive into the details of the release and everything else happening with GAME.

Marketing:

November saw the release of the GAME Foundry, allowing creators of all types to mint their own custom NFTs. This tool will become integral in creating in-game items and other rewards players can purchase with the loyalty points they earn on the GAME Rewards portal.

GAME Credits has established its HQ in yet another Metaverse, this time, Somnium Space. We invite you to check out this new space along with our other Metaverse HQs. This is an area we will continue expanding into.

Development:

As mentioned above, November saw the launch of our NFT Foundry. Creators are able to mint their own NFTs and make them available for purchase. If you haven’t checked it out lately be sure to visit app.gamecredits.org to pick up some collectibles of your own!

Now that the NFT Foundry has been launched we have turned our attention to the next three big features we’ll be rolling out, including User Accounts, Loyalty Points and a Marketplace for you to buy and sell your NFT collectibles on.

Loyalty Points brings DeFi to gaming as you earn NFTs with points by supporting your favorite creators on the rewards portal. Loyalty Points can be used to purchase collectibles in the same way as GAME Credits. What is really exciting is the fact you are already earning them behind the scenes for several months if you have creator’s that you are currently supporting. More news will be coming on this new feature soon!

As with most software projects, we are in a beta mode with these new features so please be patient. Furthermore, we need your feedback! We are continuing to grow our team, in November we brought on a DevOps engineer to help us out with deployments, automated testing and server optimization.

For Nova Blitz, we are finalizing In App Purchases, testing and builds for release to Google Play and Apple App Store. As some of you know, the mobile experience really shines comparatively. We want to maximize our distribution influence before going to the blockchain. Second, we have started building out our migration of the economy data to the GAME Credits platform and finishing our Unity SDK Libraries.

Closing Thoughts:

Keeping with the theme of these updates, November has been a very busy month. We are excited to continue developing the features we’ve already deployed and are thrilled to be on the cusp of bringing you even more. Development:

With much of the heavy lifting having been completed in September for our NFT Foundry, the theme for October was polishing testing and fine tuning the user experience. We spent a lot of time with our user experience team going through and making sure the site and the workflows make for an easy to use experience.

We’ve also been hard at work implementing a new landing page that will highlight featured creators to support and feature NFT Collectible for purchase. This new home page will allow us to feature the projects we’re excited about and feel that you should be too.

With the launch today creators will be able to add themselves to our rewards portal, like games do today. In addition they will be able to mint their own NFT in our Foundry and sell them for GAME Credits to you, their fans. We cannot wait to see what types of collectibles they come up with.

Next up for the team is to get the secondary market UI done and some other important features that will make onboarding and collectible purchases more seamless.

Also in October we brought on two new developers to help with the workload and bring more expertise to the team.

For Nova Blitz, we are finalizing In App Purchases, testing and builds for release to Google Play and Apple App Store. Operations:

As mentioned earlier in this update the work for the GAME Foundry has been completed and has launched TODAY November 11th during the Futurist Conference. Our Lead Developer Matt Quirk gave a demo of this exciting new tool in the demo day stream for Futurist https://virtual.futuristconference.com/

As discussed in previous updates our GAME Ambassador Program will be going live soon. We are currently running pilots of the program with select users and community members. After some time we will open up public applications for this program. Good day GAME faithful and welcome to another installment of the monthly update here at GAME HQ. Keeping with the theme of the past several updates, it’s been another busy month and that’s just how we like it. Let’s dive into what’s happening.

Development:

With all the new additions to the team, we have been working hard to implement new processes and workflows. In addition, we’ve focused on improving in-team communication and helping each other solve issues that arise.

Significant progress has been made by the team towards bringing the next major release of our Rewards Portal forward. We’ve been very busy migrating our contracts to use the Matic network and over the next few months it will be clear why the delays have happened.

Our NFT Creation Tool for our partners is nearing completion. At launch, games and other partners will be able to create collectible NFTs that can be purchased or earned as staking rewards through our Rewards portal.

Speaking of partners, the original vision of the rewards portal is expanding! In addition to game developers, we will be opening up our partner program to streamers, e-sports personalities, artists, and more! Much of the development effort during September was centered around the expansion of these features. Stay tuned for more news on that front soon.

Furthermore, Nova Blitz is gearing up for release officially on the Apple Store and Google Play as we finished fixing some major bugs with the Android build. We’ll enable in-app purchases and we’re getting things ready to start migrating to the block-chain.

So where’s my release?! Fair question, With the expansion of the scope of our Rewards Portal and the migration to the Matic network, things are taking a bit longer to wrap up. But we assure you the team is working hard and the new features we are adding as part of this release will definitely be worth the wait.

Marketing:

September saw the marketing team work on a lot of different initiatives encompassing a wide range of verticals:

In addition to the top real estate we’ve secured in the Sandbox, Somnium Space, and Crypto Voxels, on Sept 10th we launched the new GAME Credits HQ in Decentraland, which is located in the heart of the Crypto Valley district.

On top of these initiatives, our marketing team has continued to grow. We’ve welcomed two more experienced professionals in this space and are continuing to add to our pool of talent where applicable.

Daily social media engagement is the name of the GAME for us (slight pun intended). If you follow us you already know how busy things are at GAME HQ as we are constantly releasing great news regarding new products, partnerships and events. This is part of the culture at GAME Credits in that we are continually looking for ways to improve our product.

As mentioned previously, GAME giveaways continue every month so this is yet another great reason to follow us closely on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook and our other socials. We will be launching our YouTube channel soon and this is very relevant as we will be doing more public outreach in the industry.

Operations:

As mentioned in the development portion of the update we’ve been very busy working on Matic integrations and migrating contracts to the Matic network in preparation for future feature releases as well as working with our partner SKALE as they ramp up operations.

Once the GAME Foundry (formerly GAME Mint) is complete much of the development focus will shift to GAME Exchange. As a soft-date, we anticipate the work on GAME Foundry to be complete sometime in the next 6 to 8 weeks.

Our COO Josh conducted a Splinterlands 101 session with Carrie from the Splinterlands team. This session was meant not only for our community to learn the ins and outs of Splinterlands but to answer any questions our faithful fans have about both GAME and Splinterlands.

We’re beginning weekly Twitch streams which serve as an open AMA time as well as bringing our fans the opportunity to play games with members of the team. Thursday GAME TIME will become a standard and begins in the month of October. We’ll be releasing a schedule so fans know when they can tune in to watch, ask questions, and play themselves.

On the Nova Blitz front, our Android build has been submitted to the Google Play store for review. While we don’t have an exact timeline on this being added to the store we anticipate it will not be long.

The GAME Ambassador program is very close to public release. This is going to be a great way to help out the company, learn about the technologies we have as well as earn some GAME by representing the brand in your geographical region. Details will be released shortly regarding how you can become an ambassador in your respective region of the world and help support and build our GAME community.

September also saw GAME added to Swapspace.co, a cryptocurrency exchange aggregator site that helps select the best rates when purchasing GAME. They can be found on the “Token” page of our website along with all other exchanges.

Redemptions continue for those GAME holders who are looking to swap out their old PoW GAME coin for the new ERC-20 GAME token. We have a long redemption window which covers all of 2020, so if you are just reading this now reach out to us regarding support if you need assistance with the swap process. Our goal from the beginning has been to ensure no one is left behind and having a long grace period for holders to take part in the swap is the surest way we can fulfill that promise to you all. Closing Thoughts:

As we continue to forge ahead with development of the platform we’re humbled by the community we have and know that none of this would be possible without you, our loyal fans. Our focus has always been on creating real value and use cases through our platform. While we do put effort into growing our community we are confident that the features we’re delivering will have a powerful “if you build it, they will come” effect on the industry.

The team and culture we’ve cultivated here at GAME HQ has truly begun to round out over the past few months. We’re more confident than ever that we have the proper tools, people, and passion in place to deliver something truly unique to the blockchain, gaming, and NFT worlds. A common theme we share is the belief that the road to mass adoption lies with gaming and NFTs. We won’t stop until we see that belief becomes reality.

Good day GAME faithful — this will be the first post-merge update so there is an absolute ton of good news to share with you all. Let’s get right to it:

Development:

The development team has exploded in both talent and output in the past 60 days, with our total developer count now sitting at ten and growing. This has allowed us to speed up our cycles on several projects we are excited about releasing later this year.

One of our biggest focuses is adding new functionality to the GAME Rewards portal. There is a gamification aspect coming to the portal and while we cannot say much on specifics, look for some major Esports and DeFi developments to take place within the portal in the coming months. Work on Nova Blitz is coming along well as we complete our APK build ready which will allow us to push the game out to a greater audience. We have hired an art director as well to assist in creating new art for future cards and sets. Nova Blitz is our flagship game so we are putting a considerable amount of resources behind it.

Traction will begin to pick up soon and once this happens we shall not be looking in any direction but forward with the game. Expect to see more developments on Nova Blitz in the coming months as the greater crypto world gets introduced to it. GAME Mint, our NFT creator tool is coming along well and we are looking forward to deploying that as our next platform service.

Finally, our scaling partner in Skale has begun to ramp up operations for their main net so we are working closely with them. We have also partnered up with the Matic network for a subset of our sidechain needs so that we ensure business continuity while simultaneously providing greater flexibility.

Marketing:

Major improvements have been made to the marketing team as well over the past two months. We have hired a full time marketing director from ConsenSys to give a boost to our marketing IQ and you will begin to see this reflected in our work visually.

• Work on the GAME store is coming along nicely. We are currently working out the logistics of legalities and accepting of payments in various jurisdictions. Once this is settled we plan to launch the store and will have some special goodies available for purchase beyond the cool GAME swag that will be listed there. Stay tuned on this front.
• We have just recently deployed our Uniswap liquidity pool with a GAME / ETH trading pair. Anyone can add liquidity to the pool so please feel free to jump right in and earn the 0.3% makers fee that is up for grabs. There is also the option of adding a GAME / USDC or USDT pair which we are looking at currently. Expect more DEX options from to GAME in the future.
• Discussions are underway with some Top 20 cryptocurrency exchanges. It is important to note that these exchanges require a litany of information, are rather picky on who they list and can often cost well over 1M USD in listing fees + security deposit. While it is preferable to be listed on many top exchanges there must be a balance between the time and cost of getting listed versus our budget and the volume we can realistically drive through those trading pairs. We are building up our liquidity based off of organic demand for GAME, which means the major focus for us is on fulfilling our road map.
• We had a successful trading contest take place on BitBay in July and we will be running monthly contests across our various exchange partners. If you are someone that loves to earn free GAME then keep your eyes peeled as each month we are looking to pick a different exchange partner to run these contests through.
• Daily social media engagement is the name of the GAME for us (slight pun intended). This is part of the culture at GAME Credits in that we are continually looking for ways to improve our product.

• Speaking about public outreach, GAME Credits will be more present in the industry via interviews, podcasts and conferences (virtual for now with COVID 19). We have several conferences we will be attending later this year including Futurist and CGC. CGC.one is a digital conference that runs from Sept 22–26th and GAME will be the lead sponsor there as well as a key speaker. Keep your eyes peeled on socials for more updates.
• We also have a Twitch channel launched and will be conducting monthly interviews and AMA’s with the community. Our COO Josh Morton recently conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the community and the team will be taking turns with these opportunities so that the public can get a chance to get to know the key players at GAME.
• The GAME Ambassador program will be making its debut later this year. This is a vestige from the NovaToken days and will be relaunched under the GAME banner. This is going to be a great way to help out the company, learn about the technologies we have as well as earn some GAME by representing the brand in your geographical region. Details will be out soon on how you can get involved.

Operations:

Due to the higher output on the development side, operations has been very busy keeping pace. Some highlights on the Ops side:

• We recently signed up The Sandbox, Crypto Motors, Splinterlands and Dissolution to the GAME Rewards portal. You can now support these great games by staking your GAME on them. We will be partnering with more major companies as they join the portal which is going to add to both the awareness and appeal of the GAME Rewards.
• NFT rewards are coming to the portal — this is what many have been waiting for. As we get closer to nearing completion on GAME Mint, the NFT aspect of our Rewards portal begins to become a reality. There are many new features and surprises we are bringing to the portal so the best thing I can tell you here is to expect the unexpected and hold onto your GAME.
• GAME and Splinterlands have formed a strategic partnership that goes well beyond GAME Rewards. You will be able to use GAME within Splinterlands to make purchases which is a win / win for the partnership. You can expect both companies to look at other viable ways we can assist each other to form an even stronger long term partnership
• GAME’s Metaverse strategy has now been rolled out in its first phase which is having a presence in the various Metaverses. We have kicked this off in Decentraland where we recently took part in an event held there to present GAME Credits to the DCL community. GAME has secured top real estate in Decentraland, The Sandbox, Somnium Space and Crypto Voxels while taking a serious look at Upland currently. We will be building our HQ on these lands as well as offering our future partners some truly unique perks.
• GAME Credits has also secured key land within the most popular district in DCL — Crypto Valley. This is akin to GAME being offered a coveted spot in Silicon Valley many years before the rest of the world knew about its relevance. We will be building in CV and we will keep you updated on this great development. The awareness that GAME is going to receive by being the first crypto gaming network to fully embrace the Metaverse is hard to measure.
• Our Educational Partner program is also underway as we begin to work with schools across the planet on a formal basis. The start of this will be to onboard students into various GAME internships as we help cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs. This will expose the student body and faculty to GAME’s platform services which many universities and colleges have shown a keen interest in.
• GAME Exchange is seeing progress and it will be the focus once GAME Mint is deployed later this year. We shall then shift over to getting GAME Tournament out which will fulfill our platform features.. The company is always looking at new ways to improve upon existing features and finding industry needs to bring new features to market so you will hear more news about the direction of our platform as the rest of 2020 plays out.

Closing Thoughts:

Now that the dust has settled from the transition to Ethereum we can take a step back and reflect upon what exactly has just happened. One of the first true and pure crypto merger and acquisitions has just successfully taken place. The rest of the crypto industry is just now beginning to wrap their collective heads around what we accomplished and that is a good thing, time will bring awareness.

Our goal is to focus on creating value through our platform and the GAME cryptocurrency — the results will always follow when hard work is part of the culture. I am proud to say that this is exactly the culture we have cultivated here at GAME, where we under promise and over deliver. This is a theme with us, we try and do things a little bit differently than the average crypto network and have a lot of faith in our talents and vision.

None of this would have been possible without the wonderful community that we enjoy. So a big ‘Thank You’ to the community for being there for us and spreading the good word. Good day GAME faithful and welcome to another installment of the monthly update here at GAME HQ. This has been arguably the most exciting and busiest month in the history of the network, so let’s jump right into it.

Development:

Despite the transition to Ethereum taking up the lion’s share of our focus, we have still been busy working away on our core tools of the platform. Work is being done on new features for the recently debuted GAME Rewards portal (https://app.gamecredits.org/rewards) along with preparation of GAME Mint, our NFT creator tool and GAME Exchange; all which are going to be released over the second half of the year.

Some of the most exciting work we are doing currently in the development realm relates to some big surprises we have in store for GAME holders. We will be revealing these in due course over the summer and fall, so please stay tuned on that front. Lastly, we will be giving insight into what our yet to be released platform services are going to look like with some UI and UX updates that we can share with you. This will offer more insight into what the GAME Mint, GAME Exchange and GAME Tournament are going to look like and how they will function.

Finally, we have been growing the development team and have brought on two new developers to assist in various areas including Nova Blitz. We will have some exciting news on the game and our plans for it coming soon as well.

Marketing:

There are lots of great updates to share on the marketing front:

• We have formed a long-term strategic partnership with BarterTrade exchange. BarterTrade offers an easy, smart, social and gamified way to spend and trade crypto. Our partnership will encompass many activities including working closely with each others communities to help us both grow in lockstep within the industry. You will definitely want to keep your eyes peeled for the debut of the store as some of the items in there will be truly one of a kind.
• We are running targeted social media ad campaigns across various platforms to ensure the crypto world is aware of GAME Credits revival.
• GAME Credits has recently been listed on HotBit and WhiteBit exchanges, both are top 100 exchanges with a growing user base. We will be looking to add more exchanges in the future however our goal is to sustainable growth. This means we will be taking the time and resources required to build up real trading action on each of our listings before we move on to adding yet more exchanges.
• GAME Credits recently took part in Decentraland’s first ever soccer tournament. As a sponsor we were able to get involved at a deep level and will be part of more historic events in the various Metaverses (more on this below).
• Multiple marketing / social media people are being brought on to the team to help improve our reach, message and engagement levels across the board.
• We will be considering larger exchanges (Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, etc) once we have ensured our current exchange listings are in good shape and reflect well upon us before applying.
• Trading contests for GAME tokens are happening in the month of July on HotBit and BitBay. We will be doing more trading contests on other exchanges over the course of the year, so there will be countless opportunities to earn more GAME.
• More crypto and mainstream press is coming now that we have transitioned to Ethereum and are one network in name and composition. Look for news on us coming out over the summer as we let the industry know that we are no longer the best kept secret in blockchain.
• Community managers have been brought on to help grow the current community we have, as well as to form regional roots in various areas the company wishes to grow its presence. We will be unveiling our Ambassador program soon which will allow individuals to represent GAME from various geographical regions. More details forthcoming on the Ambassador program.
• The physical GAME Credits loadable collector coins that were commissioned are now complete and will be going up for sale in the store. Keep an eye out for these, as they are truly gorgeous and are a very limited print run. They also commemorate an important era in the history of GAME Credits. Operations:

The biggest focus has been the GAME Rewards portal going live which has been a success. It is very early days for the portal however many GAME holders are currently earning free GAME tokens each week by staking on their favorite game partner. This is how you can truly show support for the game developers as you help them earn a cut of the weekly 100,000 GAME pot when you stake your GAME tokens on them.

We will be unveiling the NFT rewards aspect of the portal in the near future which will allow GAME holders to earn Loyalty points. These points are an integral credit system that allows you to redeem the points for various NFT rewards that each gaming partner will be making available. The more you stake, the more Loyalty points you earn and the more NFT rewards you will be able to redeem for.

This is going to tie directly into the release of GAME Mint, our NFT creator tool. Game developers will be able to use the tool to create any type of digital collectible you can imagine. The same holds true for gamers themselves who will be able to make use of the tool to create some truly spectacular items. Once GAME Exchange is released, these NFTs can be taken to and bought / sold / traded on our exchange and turned into revenue.

GAME Tournament, our Esports tournament organizer, will be coming out later this year and will compliment the other existing features on the platform. Outside of the platform work we have two programs we are launching this summer which the company is very excited about.

• The first is our Educational Partner program which has been created to work with educational institutes of all sizes. The program has many ways we work with schools such as internships, assisting in curating crypto and blockchain course material, hosting hackathons, integrating GAME as a currency within the school for various activities and giving them access to GAME Tournament to host their Esports tournies in the future.
• The second is our Metaverse program. The company has a deep passion and high IQ for the active Metaverses in blockchain which cover Decentraland, Crypto Voxels, Somnium Space and The Sandbox. The company owns prime LAND in each Metaverse and has brought on multiple advisors and team members who’s sole focus is to build GAME Credits presence in the virtual worlds. Look for us to be hosting events, meetings, and eventually implementing our entire platform into the Metaverses.

The merge:

Now that the dust is beginning to settle on our transition to Ethereum we can take a step back as a company and assess. Overall, the event went very smoothly and be considered a resounding success. All of our key partners are now transitioned over with us and I would like to thank them along with the great team I am so privileged to work with here at GAME. The experience was that much more enjoyable having everyone working together to ensure we got the job done.

There are still some individuals who have done manual redemptions that may not have yet received their GAME tokens. GAME Credits is proud to announce the official launch of the GAME Rewards portal. Holders of GAME can now earn free $GAME tokens each week for simply staking their GAME tokens on their favorite games signed up on the portal.

There are 100,000 GAME tokens in rewards available each week that is split evenly between the GAME holders who are staking (50,000 GAME) and the game developers who have signed up on the portal (50,000 GAME). The more GAME tokens staked on a given game, the more of the 50,000 weekly GAME pot that game developer will receive. The more GAME you stake on a given game as a holder of GAME, the more GAME you will earn. You can choose to stake or unstake your GAME tokens at any time as you are not locked in.

Manual Redemption of the New ERC20 GAME Token (Update: Redemption period is now closed effective end of day, Dec 31st 2020),

Step One:

Install the Metamask Ethereum wallet in your web browser by visiting https://metamask.io/

Metamask is supported on Brave, Chrome, Firefox, Android, and IOS.

Follow all instructions provided by Metamask carefully and remember to back up your seed phrase!

Step Two:

Open your GameCredits Core wallet and find your receiving address by browsing to File -> Receiving addresses. If you have received GameCredits to multiple addresses within your wallet, you can send them to yourself in a single transaction to any receiving address listed in your core wallet.

Step Three:

Right click and copy your receiving address where your GameCredits are stored. In this example, they are all stored under a single receiving address.

Step Four:

In your GameCredits core wallet, browse to File -> Sign message.

Step Five:

On the Signatures page, paste your GameCredits receiving address copied in step three into the topmost bar. In the body section of the signature page, paste your Ethereum address from the Metamask wallet installed in step one. Please do not include any information in the body other than your Metamask Ethereum address. Once you have verified both addresses are correct hit the Sign Message button.

Step Six:

Copy the signed message using the icon to the right side of the Signature bar.

GAME Credits is proud to announce the acquisition of Nova Blitz, a digital card game that is mobile friendly and introduces fast paced game play. With an intriguing story (lore) and deeply immersive and interactive mechanics, the game has been well received since its initial release.

This game was recently acquired under the Nova Token banner and will be officially transitioning over to GAME Credits once the move to Ethereum is complete this July. The Nova Token team is actually the creators of the game originally and are well positioned to take back over development and continue driving it forward. The benefits of acquiring Nova Blitz to the company is immense:

• It provides a real-time prototype to show game developers what a well built game looks like when plugging into the GAME Credits platform. Seeing is believing and Nova Blitz will be fully integrated into the platform and making use of its services going forward
• Rewards for the game can be offered via GAME Rewards with the company now having direct influence over every aspect of the process .This is a big value add to anyone who decides to support Nova Blitz by staking their GAME tokens on it in the near future

Good day GAME Credits faithful,

Welcome to the monthly update which will cover the full scope of the networks operations as we gear up towards our transition to Ethereum in July. We will cover all of the functional groups at GameCredits along with details on the merge and some other developments that we are very excited about.

Once we cut over to Ethereum this summer we will begin doing functional group updates through Medium to compliment the monthly update. We are growing very fast right now as a company and to maintain our level of communication and transparency with the community this change will be needed. Another step in the right direction for the World’s first gaming crypto — now lets jump right into it!

Development:

We keep growing in the development group, recently adding in another full stack dev to assist us on various areas of the platform. We are constantly looking to add more resources as you can never have too many quality devs in-house.

We are speaking with several more currently and plan to double the size of our development group in the next twelve months. The key to this goal is ensuring that our growth is done in a sustainable way. Creating quality on-boarding and new-hire material is something we are making time for so that we are able to ramp up quickly. In terms of focus, we are spending time rounding out our test cases for the MVP, adding in functionality for the Rewards portal as well as GAME MINT and GAME Exchange. These features will be deployed to the Ethereum mainnet over the course of the year.

Stay tuned for development-centric updates post merge which will include a defined road-map for features and some visuals on what each feature will look like once it is live on the platform. In terms of our second layer solution partner, Skale is progressing well with their testnet which is allowing us to perform our testing in lockstep. We plan to have everything lined up in this regard for our July mainnet debut and with how important Skale is to us in the long term, we are excited to see them progress to the point where they will soon be able to fully support us.

Marketing:

There is a litany of daily activity in the marketing group so I am going to provide some highlights on the key programs being worked on for this summer / fall. As these programs mature fully the marketing team will be making announcements and will also begin giving group-centric updates that go over and beyond what is encapsulated in the monthly updates here.

Some of these items are part of bigger campaigns we have going on later in 2020 so we are being careful to not give too much away just yet:

• GAME Credits swag of all types is coming in the form of hats, stickers, t-shirts and much more. You can get your hands on these initially through promotions we will be running however we have much bigger plans on this front from a branding perspective.
• New logo — As seen here in the update, we have created a new logo for GAME Credits to officially usher in the new era for the network. You will see swag of various types sporting our logo so keep your eyes out as we endeavor to have our branding show up in many different places.
• We have applied to become a partner of Crypto.com’s branded white label debit card program. This was just launched recently and we are looking to become one of CMC’s first partners to deliver GAME Credits branded debit cards using the CMC back end. The program was just announced and will take some time to ramp up so we’ll keep you all updated as we move along that process and understand what the requirements are.
• The company is in daily discussions with numerous top exchanges to help grow GAME. The key for us is forming partnerships with exchanges that have real volume and strong communities of traders. Simply getting listed on 5 new exchanges isn’t going to cut it — we want to find exchanges with strong regional footprints and then cultivate a following in that region with our brand over time. This means we are picky about who we spend our listing fees on and dedicate our time to helping grow those relationships. Our plan is to add several more during the course of 2020.
• Trading contests will be happening on a more frequent basis post merge. We will be doing this to celebrate the creation of the new ERC-20 GAME token and to help bring more widespread exposure to it along with the markets that support it. Some of these will be done with the exchanges themselves and some will be with other key partners.
• Social media engagement continues to ramp up as we add new pieces like Twitch , Instagram and Flote. As always, engagement with the public is what matters for us, not posting random content to give the appearance that we are plugged in. Expect to be presented with more contests and opportunities to interact with us here at GAME Credits as we grow our online presence.
• GAME Credits collector coins created by Finite By Design will be coming this summer. This series was commissioned to commemorate the new era of GAME Credits and the coins will truly be something to behold. We will be offering several ways for people to get their hands on this iconic piece of history.
• We are proud to be have a very high Metaverse and VR-IQ on the GAME Credits team. This is important because in the new era of social distancing and remote working, VR-based events in crypto are becoming the norm. We are lining up appearances in many future VR-conferences for crypto to have a seat at the table and begin to have an active role in how the blockchain gaming narrative evolves. Once confirmed we shall post the specific events so that you too can hopefully join us.
• GAME Credits has secured space in both the Sandbox and Decentraland to have a company presence. More and more of crypto and non-crypto business is being conducted virtually and GAME will continue its history of being #1 by being the first crypto gaming platform to have a functional company presence in the Metaverses. We may evolve to the point where a portion of our staff is actually working remotely for us in VR via our company offices in both Sandbox and Decentraland. We are also looking at Crypto Voxels and Somnium Space to ensure we have covered all of our virtual bases.

Platform:

The platform group is now busy undertaking the task of having the Rewards portal up and running for the July main net release. This means fleshing out improvements in the UI / UX, speaking to games to get them signed up for July and understanding what their needs are. This last part is where we are truly beginning to form strong relationships with games.

The Rewards portal is setup in such a way that we can tailor the approach we take to delivering rewards based on each game developers needs. If a game wants to hit certain metrics with their players in-game, we can help cultivate incentives for this via our tiered rewards. When a holder of GAME stakes on a certain game they like, they begin earning loyalty points from that game. Over time, the holder of GAME can take those loyalty points and redeem them for various rewards available to them via the portal.

The higher the tier of rewards, the most costly the item will be in terms of loyalty points but also its rarity and exclusivity. To unlock the highest tier of rewards, holders of GAME may be required to achieve certain in-game feats. E.G. — a player of Nova Biltz must have a level 20 account to unlock the gold tier of rewards for NB on our portal. Only then will the player / holder of GAME gain access to that top tier to begin redeeming their loyalty points for the very best rewards that game has to offer.

This is just one of the ways we work with game developers at GAME Credits to help understand what metrics they are trying to achieve. The platform team is also hard at work expanding the use-cases of the Rewards portal. We are rather excited about this piece and cannot say much just yet however you can expect to see the Rewards portal evolving to offer more verticals. This will translate into more choices for holders of GAME and more opportunities for companies in and outside of the crypto space to work with GAME Credits and take advantage of the Rewards portal.

We have also just recently acquired a key piece of intellectual property (IP). There will be a separate announcement for this coming very soon that will detail why we acquired it and all of the benefits it brings to the company and holders of GAME. And finally, we have begun cultivating our Esports presence over the past few months. GAME Credits was created to bridge the gap of Esports and the world of crypto and blockchain, a commitment we take very seriously. Several advisors have been added to the team that are experts in Esports and that has begun paying dividends. There will be a campaign coming soon that will bring to life the full potential of what we can and will be doing for the Esports industry here at GAME Credits — stay tuned for that this summer.

Company:

Now that the initial dust has settled from the announcement of the merger, the industry has had some time to consume all of the information and the impact from this move. The feedback continues to be positive as we have had dozens of interested parties come to us looking to invest, with the company also reaching out to various entities to gauge interest in a capital investment. There are media opportunities and case studies we are looking to take part in as the word of our crypto M&A continues to spread through the non-crypto business world.

We have also had many doors opened with mainstream Esports entities which is the precise doors we wanted to gain access to as part of the merge. As we define our Esports strategy you will begin to see partnerships formed with companies and individuals that will play an integral role in fulfilling our strategy.

The merge:

After a tremendous amount of discussion, coordination and planning — we are now ready with all of our partners to officially move forward with the merge. These transitions become projects unto themselves as every piece must be handled with care, thought out well in advance.

All of the details you need to know regarding the merge are contained below. We will also be making constant noise via our social channels and in the industry regarding the snapshot date so everyone is aware of the big move. The company put much thought into this process since it covers many areas of consideration. Essentially, we are taking two networks that each have unique values and merging them to create something that is greater than what either entity could become on its own. The reason this merger is working out so well is that each side truly brings something of value to the table that the other is missing. Both networks have had ample time to prove that they have something great to offer and that they also are struggling to achieve other key pieces. These pieces are the foundational blocks of what make up a top network in the crypto and blockchain space.

Our job in creating this merge is to find the fairest value for both networks when looking at all of the tangibles and intangibles they bring. To this end, we feel that both networks bring an equal value to the other. We could go back and forth endlessly debating various aspects of each entity internally as a company but at the end of the day, this harmonization of two networks works because they are equal dance partners. We understand it is an impossibility to attempt to make everyone happy and that is not the goal we are trying to achieve.

Some will feel that GameCredits is worth more in its current state before we came over and some will feel NovaToken brings more value due to the platform, team, funding and partnerships. We understand and appreciate that there will be many different perspectives and that is simply part and parcel with having a large community that is engaged with us. The following are the key details regarding the merge itself:

• Snapshot date is July 1 at 1 PM Eastern time (EST) and will be taken on the GAME Credits current PoW blockchain as well as the Ethereum mainnet via the NovaToken smart contract (Etherscan)
• ERC-20 GAME token smart contract will be deployed soon after
• Bittrex and BitBay are giving full support of the snapshot meaning GAME holders can keep their GAME coins on both exchanges during the snapshot. They will be airdropped the new ERC-20 GAME token post snapshot via the exchanges. Each exchange will make their announcements on the above soon
• For holders of GAME who do not wish to keep their coins on an exchange, we will also be offering a redemption method via the GameCredits core wallet. This will likely entail having the user sign a message to us with their private key from the address that contains the GAME coins they had in their wallet at snapshot time. We will be releasing full details on the manual redemption option in the coming weeks in preparation.
• From the GAME side, Livecoin is supporting the transition to the new GAME token and will be taking an internal snapshot so coins can be safely left there. For users of Crex24, they will be supporting the snapshot so you will have your new GAME tokens airdropped to you.
• From the NVT side, we are working with CoinLim to ensure every partner comes over from both sides. Each exchange will make their announcements on the above soon. Altilly will be supporting the swap and airdrop so NVT can be left on there during the snapshot. For users who have NVT on ForkDelta ,they will want to withdraw them to their local Ethereum wallet or move them to Altilly.
• Holders of NVT can keep their holdings in their Ethereum wallets or the Rewards portal at NovaToken.io. The same ETH address that holds their NVT at snapshot time will be the address that their GAME is sent to
• Wallet providers Holy Transaction, ABRA and Coinomi will be supporting the new ERC-20 GAME token however they will not be supporting the air drop. You will want to temporarily remove your GAME coins from these wallets and ensure they are in your GameCredits QT core wallet (0.15.4) or at one of the above supported GAME exchanges.
• Dove wallet / exchange will be fully supporting the snapshot which means you can keep your coins on Dove the entire time and will be given the new GAME token after. You can see the official statement by Dove on the transition:

• The redemption window will be open until January 1st, 2021. This means holders of GAME can claim and redeem their GAME tokens through the entire year of 2020. Unclaimed coins past this date will be used to help the company and community of GAME Credits.
• The new currency supply for GAME will be 200M tokens
• GAME will be swapped at a ratio of 1 : 1 and NVT will be swapped at a ratio of 1000 : 1 (1 GAME coin will equal 1 GAME token and 1000 NVT will equal 1 GAME token)
• 70M GAME captured in the circulating supply of GameCredits PoW blockchain / 80M captured in the circulating supply of NovaToken
• 20M created exclusively for the Rewards portal locked in a smart contract. The Rewards portal is an important part of our ecosystem and it helps us grow our reach into areas our competitors are not able to. The GAME in the Rewards portal smart contract are for the community and GAME holders / game developers. We have much planned for the portal so its long term funding is important to us. We also have a Rewards portal halving schedule we will release in the future that shows the amount of GAME to be released each year. The goal is as the portal grows the % of rewards that GAME tokens makes up drops over time as more and more NFT-based rewards enter the portal.
• 4.4M is allocated to the companies Partner grant fund. This will be used to help future partners out that meet the criteria we establish for receiving some level of financial support from us. This will most often be reserved for promising games that have a deeply vested partnership with us but could be used to help other key partners provided the end result derives a direct benefit to the GAME network.
• 25.6M is allocated to the company to help with various costs. Expenses such as salaries, marketing, legal, exchange listings, partnerships, contests and just about everything else will be paid for in part via GAME. The company will look to supplement its USD-based costs with GAME tokens where possible. Over time, as the value of GAME rises in USD terms the company becomes better capitalized due to its core holdings of GAME. This is an important factor as we are then able to maintain our economic sovereignty where we may not have the same level of freedoms if we were to bring numerous investors onboard for USD capitalization.

The outlook the team is taking to this fresh start is a long term one. We are on the cusp of what appears to be a prolonged financial downturn resulting from the near complete shutdown of the global economy. As more crypto and non-crypto businesses go under, it becomes clear that having a solid short, mid and long term strategy is going to be needed for this new decade. The above allocation of the supply allows us to move forward with the confidence we will not have to stop the momentum we have worked so hard to achieve because of short term funding issues.

We will aim to have as many of the redemptions processed as fast as humanely possible and have gone to lengths to ensure that the Nova and GAME community does not have to do much of any work. We wish this to be an enjoyable and seamless process that takes place as we transition to the new era of GAME Credits.

Your patience and support during this transition is something the team very much appreciates. We are moving our platform forward, forming new partnerships resulting from the merge all while coordinating the many moving parts of the merge itself — on top of that we are growing monthly as we add new members.
