Yes, according to multiple scientific investigations, the tissue samples from the Eucharistic miracle of Lanciano have been extensively tested in laboratories, and the blood type has been identified as AB.

The flesh was unequivocally cardiac tissue, and the blood was of type AB, according to Dr. Odoardo Linoli who conducted studies on the samples and presented his findings on March 4, 1971. His study confirmed that the flesh and blood were of human origin.

Blood Type: The blood was determined to be of type AB, which is considered relatively rare, present in 6% of humans.

At that precise instant, according to the account, a profound transformation occurred before his eyes. The unleavened host began to change, taking on the appearance and characteristics of actual human flesh—living tissue that pulsed with life. Simultaneously, the consecrated wine underwent its own metamorphosis, transforming into what appeared to be genuine blood.

This question is being asked by muslim dawah preachers around the world. Muslims consider Jesus (Isa) as a prophet. Christians consider Jesus as Son on God, one among 3 persons in Holy Trinity ( The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit). Both believes that, at the end of time, Jesus will comes again to Judge the living and the dead. Did Jesus claimed divity? YES He did, if we carefully read Gospel, Jesus is using "I Am" which was the name revealed to Prophet Moses before his departure for Egypt.

The Seven "I Am" Statements from Gospel according to St. John

"Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58), which directly echoes God's name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14 and affirms Jesus's eternal divine nature. For a man with quality of reading the inner meanings, the above verses are enough to identify the divine deity of Jesus Christ!.

The question is How the people responded when Jesus spoke these words. Holy Bible says, the pharisees and jewish religious authorities found this as blasphemy. They had violent reactions and they presented these as accusations against Jesus.

JOHN 10:29-33 says:

29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.” 31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. If God is spirit, how man was created in God's image?

It is said in Holy Bible that God created man in his own images....but Bible says God is spirit why this contradiction?

Genesis 1:27 says : So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

John 4:24 says : God is a spirit. Those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth

Is there a contradiction between Genesis 1:27 and John 4:24.

Genesis 1:27 does not suggest that God takes on a human form. Instead, it indicates that humans reflect God's image through their moral, spiritual, and intellectual qualities.

God created people from dust and breathed life into them with His own breath (Genesis . 2:7). Thus, humans are unique among all of God's creations, possessing both a material (body) and an immaterial (soul) component. Bearing the image and likeness of God simply means that we were made to resemble God in all the deeds. God wants us to be in an eternal relationship with Him.

So Genesis 1:27 doesn't contradict John 4:24.

Is Isaiah 29:12 is referring to Prophet Mohammed?

Muslims are now up with a new claim of reference to Mohammed in Bible from Isaiah 29:12.

Here is the Bible verse:

Isaiah 29:12 - And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read".

Here it is saying about the book is given to some one, commanding him to read, but his response was he cannot read.

Muslims believe that their prophet Mohammed was illiterate and Angel Gibriel has appeared to him and commanded him to read the versus of quran, but mohammed responded saying that he cannot read. But angel again commanded him to read Surah 96: 1–5.

Quran Surah 96: 1–5

In the Name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clot. Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous. He who taught by the pen. Taught man what he never knew.

Muslim claim is the book referring in Isaiah 29:12 is Quran and the illiterate person who was asked to read it was Mohammed.

Significance of Mohammed's illiteracy

Muslims believe that angel Gabriel asked Muhammad to "read," as stated in Quran Surah 96: 1–5. This is significant for Muslims because, Muhammad was illiterate, he told Gabriel that he could not read. Nevertheless, Gabriel repeated his command to "read" . Muslims claim that Muhammad lacked the education necessary to have composed the Quran himself, which is another reason why they find Muhammad's illiteracy to be significant.

Was it Muhammed mentioned in Isaiah 29:12?

Isaiah chapter 29 begins with a prophecy for a place called "Ariel". Hebrew word "Ariel" refers to Jerusalem. Isaiah prophess about the destruction of city of David, ie Jerusalem. It talks about the Spiritual Blindness of its dwellers.

The spiritual illiteracy of Jerusalem

Isaiah 29:11-12 - The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate.”

Here God mentions How Gods chosen people neglect the Word of God. The Prophets and the seers are silent. People live as they like. The literate and illiterate were spiritual blind to Word of God and Visions from God. They may see spiritual, but in heart they are NOT.

Why the spiritual blindness happened to Israel

Isaiah 29:13-14 gives the answer:
13 And the Lord said:
“Because this people draw near with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
while their hearts are far from me,
and their fear of me is a commandment of men learned by rote;
14 therefore, behold, I will again
do marvelous things with this people,
wonderful and marvelous;
and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,
and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hid.”

From all the above points, lets summarize that Isaiah 29:12 is not a reference to Prophet Mohammed.

Millennial Blessed Carlo Acutis to be Cannonized as saint

It's great news for young Catholics, that Millennial Carlo Acutis will be declared as Saint of Catholic Church.

He was pious young layman (May 3, 1991 - October 12, 2006 ), born in London, England and died due to leukemia at the age of 15 at Monza, Italy. His parents were Andrea Acutis and Antonia Salzano. He was rasied as a devoted catholic. He had a passion for website designing and cataloging of Eucharistic miracles and approved Marian apparitions. He used to visit pilgrim centers and religious places and to document Eucharistic miracles and approved Marian apparitions, to catalog them on a website he created before his death.

He was beatified on 10 October 2020 at Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Assisi, Italy. vatican.va

He is patron for Youth and Computer programmers.

A Miracle from Brazil in a boy named Mattheus with a pancreatic defect that made eating difficult was healed in 2019. His mother Luciana Vianna had reported this is religious authorities.

Experiencing The Holy Spirit

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal stands out within the Church today. What sets it apart, akin to how a highlighter emphasizes specific scriptures, is its distinctive focus on the Holy Spirit. This does not imply that those within the Renewal are better, holier, or more spiritual than other Catholics. Rather, it highlights a heightened awareness of the Holy Spirit's presence, power, and significance as the third person of the Holy Trinity. This awareness acknowledges the Holy Spirit as a person, just like the Father and the Son. The Spirit is not merely a peaceful dove or a symbol of fire, water, and oil. He is no longer "the forgotten person of the Holy Trinity," as described by one of our Popes. He is fully and wholly God, playing a crucial role in our salvation and the world's.

This awareness prompts us to open ourselves to the Spirit's power, to yield and cooperate with it. This act of opening and yielding is known as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the cornerstone of the Charismatic Renewal. Without it, the Renewal would not exist. There would be no spiritual gifts, ministry, outreach, healing, evangelization, or interest in studying the Word. There would be no intercession, praise and worship, or vibrant prayer meetings; just the same sedate Christianity that existed before the Spirit overshadowed the Indian Church in 1971.

The term "baptism" means to cleanse or purify. Historically, the Church has "baptized" pagan feasts like Christmas and Easter, imbuing them with new Christian meanings and purposes. In the Sacrament of Baptism, we are cleansed from original sin, made new, and become temples of the Holy Spirit. Similarly, through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are tried, used, purified, cleansed, shaped, and transformed into other Christs.

To be baptized in the Holy Spirit means to be immersed and soaked in the Spirit of Jesus. It means that every fiber of our being and every facet of our lives must be touched, influenced, and controlled by the Spirit. This includes our minds, thoughts, attitudes, reasoning; our hearts, feelings, relationships, service, prayer; our bodies, conscience, free will, and even our sexuality. The Spirit permeates every part and aspect of our human life, transforming us into another Christ. It means, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."

An Ongoing and Deepening Encounter

Charismatics, especially leaders, must recognize that this change and transformation is not a one-time, magical experience. It is an ongoing and deepening encounter with the Holy Spirit, continually shaping us into the likeness of Christ.

This verse is part of Jesus’ Farewell Discourse to his disciples (John 14-17), where he prepares them for his impending departure through his crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. He reassures them that he will return and emphasizes the importance of his departure.

PUTTING ABUSE IN THE PAST

The words stung like a wind-whipped branch: “worthless…you’ll never amount to anything…your fault...set a good example.” My father’s harsh judgments became my reality. Silently, I absorbed his words until they defined me.

Growing up in a home marred by physical and emotional abuse, I learned to survive. I hid my fears and pretended to be perfect. Covering up my mother’s alcoholism and her frequent suicide attempts, I assumed the role of caregiver to my siblings. I became a confidante, mediator, and counselor to both my parents, trying to mend their fractured marriage, though my efforts often seemed to make things worse.

As the eldest child, I faced immense pressure. My grades had to be perfect, yet they never were good enough. I was expected to maintain a positive attitude, be helpful, and never cry, as crying was seen as a weakness. My goal was perfection to make my parents happy. I believed if they were happy, Mom wouldn’t drink, they wouldn’t fight, and we wouldn’t get hit.

My parents tightly controlled my life. They monitored my phone calls, chose my friends, interrupted my school days with humiliating visits, opened my mail, read my diary, and inspected my room. Nothing was hidden, except our painful reality. Outwardly, we seemed like the perfect family, attending Sunday Mass, dining together, and dressing well. But at home, we were constantly reminded of how we truly measured up—and we always fell short.

My weight was the one thing beyond their control. I ate to fill the void left by a lack of love. I would sneak cookies to my room before dinner. People teased me about my weight, but then I discovered laxatives, induced vomiting, and extreme dieting. I lost about 90 pounds in a few months. My parents were thrilled, even proud, of my new appearance. I took on three part-time jobs, biking to each. The combination of not eating and little sleep took its toll. My parents’ concern manifested as anger. Yet, I was thrilled—this was my secret rebellion, something they couldn’t control. I enjoyed the newfound attention from peers, but I was dying inside.

For five years, I maintained this destructive pattern. During this time, I married a wonderful man, Alan, and became pregnant with our first child. I wanted to break the cycle of abuse and dysfunction for my baby. However, my parents’ crises continued. For the first 14 years of my marriage, Dad called daily, asking me to keep Mother from drinking or becoming depressed. If she did, Dad blamed me. Although I didn’t drink, I had my own addictions—seeking approval, workaholism, and overeating. My weight climbed to 211 pounds, amplifying my feelings of worthlessness. I tried to be a supermom and the perfect wife, but I was exhausted and unhappy.

A constant, critical voice echoed in my mind: “worthless…garbage…ugly…you make me sick.” No matter what I did, I couldn’t silence it. I prayed, believing even God couldn’t love me because I wasn’t perfect. For 38 years, I felt imprisoned by my parents. Despite reading the Bible, spiritual books, and praying, I remained consumed by shame and fear that my secrets would be discovered and I would be hated.

Despairing, I considered medication for my depression. Then, a car accident changed my life. Rear-ended by a 17-year-old, my neck was severely injured, and physical therapy didn’t help. Both my hands became numb, and doctors suggested surgery, which terrified me.

Sharing my fears with a priest friend, he mentioned an upcoming healing Mass. Skeptical but desperate, I attended. The church was overflowing, and during the Rosary and Mass, I watched in awe as people were healed. Nervous but hopeful, I approached the altar. The visiting priest blessed Alan and me, and we both fell to the floor. I felt a warmth from head to toe, and for the first time, I experienced love—divine love from the Holy Spirit. The feelings of worthlessness vanished.

Afterward, Alan and I felt a childlike joy. That night, I slept peacefully, feeling loved and embraced by God. The next day, my neck pain was gone, and the numbness in my hands disappeared. Doctors and physical therapists were astounded, calling it a miracle. The true miracle, however, was the realization that God loved me unconditionally.

My entire outlook changed. I lost 74 pounds effortlessly, as God filled the void within me. My prayer life deepened, and the Bible became meaningful. Each morning, I now wake with anticipation for what God has in store. Though the healing process is ongoing and sometimes painful, I no longer succumb to self-loathing when memories resurface. Instead, I find solace in prayer, surrendering control to God.

In my most distressing times, I feel God’s love and compassion, like a comforting hug I longed for from my father. I hear God’s promises of unwavering love and presence. God has given me the ability to forgive my parents, understanding that their dysfunction was inherited. With forgiveness came tears and gratitude—to God and to the friends who supported me.

I am not who I was before. The old me has died, and a new me is being formed in God’s image. God continues to work on me, and I now hear a gentle, loving voice inside: “I love you…I am always here…I will never leave you.”

Bilquis Sheikh (12 December 1912 – 9 April 1997), a Pakistani author from Rawalpindi, recounts her conversion to Christianity in her book "I Dared to Call Him Father." The title alone is striking: daring to call God "Father." For many of us, addressing God as “Father” is commonplace, and we often overlook the profound privilege it represents. Jesus' instruction to pray to "Our Father in heaven" (Matthew 6:9) was revolutionary. When Jesus referred to God as "My Father," it was considered blasphemous and dangerous (John 5:17-18), underscoring Bilquis Sheikh’s point about the significance and boldness of this address.

Throughout His ministry, Jesus called God “Father” over 200 times, highlighting a unique intimacy and familiarity. However, during His crucifixion, bearing the sins of the world and feeling forsaken, Jesus cried out, “My God, my God” (Matthew 27:46). Yet, with His final breath, He returned to the intimate term, saying, “Father, I entrust My spirit into Your hands!” (Luke 23:46).

The cross grants us the privilege to call God “Abba, Father.” Through faith in Christ, we become children of God (Galatians 3:26; John 1:12). This intimate address, "Abba, Father," is unique to believers, reflecting a deep, loving relationship with God.

No, Mohammed never saw the Jerusalem Temple as it was demolished by the Romans 500 years before Mohammed's birth.

Mohammed was born in AD 570 in Mecca. He began preaching Islam in AD 610 and continued until his death in AD 632. Therefore, he could not have seen the Jerusalem Temple, which was destroyed long before his birth. However, he might have heard about it from Jewish inhabitants in Arabia.

Understanding Virgin Mary from Gospels

Catholic audiences are always enthralled with two subjects: the Eucharist, with its countless treasures found in the Mass, and the Virgin Mary, who is both our spiritual mother and the holy mother of Jesus, the Son of God.

Following his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus' disciples commemorated his life and teachings, particularly via Eucharist, baptism, and liturgy. They emphasized Jesus as the "Word of life" rather than just the events of his life, focusing less on specific biographical facts and more on his mission and message.

It may seem pointless to talk about Mary's life and times given the dearth of information available regarding her early years, old age, and her very rare public appearances with Jesus. That being said, the exact reverse is true. The remarkable influence of Mary on early Christian remembrance is significant. She is the most frequently mentioned woman in the Gospels, which makes her a crucial component of the "Good News" of Jesus Christ.

One thing is certain: Mary, the virgin of Nazareth, was born into a pious Jewish family. Joseph, her husband, was called "an upright man" (Matthew 1:19), and Elizabeth and her husband Zachary were described as "upright in the sight of God" (Luke 1:6). The Holy Family celebrated the feast of Passover in Jerusalem each year (Luke 2:41).

Mary is depicted in St. Luke's "Gospel portrait" in great detail, appearing at significant junctures in Jesus' life, including conception, birth, infancy, childhood, and adulthood. The well-known "Hail Mary" prayer begins with a heavenly greeting to Mary in Nazareth.

We hear Elizabeth praising Mary's motherhood in faith during her visit to Elizabeth after she became unexpectedly pregnant with John the Baptist. Her words are immortalized in the "Hail Mary," which is sung in various situations and is also known as the "Ave Maria" around the world.

When Jesus was twelve, he caused Mary and Joseph much distress by staying behind in Jerusalem following the Passover pilgrimage. Mary told him how distressed they were when she found him, but then she heard him make an enigmatic remark to being in his father's house. Following this, Mary was a part of Jesus' tranquil childhood in Nazareth before he started his public mission.

According to St. Luke's account in the Acts of the Apostles, Mary was in the upper room with the apostles waiting for the outpouring of the Pentecostal Spirit at the end of Jesus' life, following his dreadful passion, death, and triumphant resurrection and ascension. Her arrival was of great importance to the young Church.

I would like to share with u about my Eucharistic experience. I am the Director of Charismatic renewal in Kannur Diocese. I used to preach retreat in the center and parishes. Recently Our team went to preach retreat in Payyannur town parish for three days. But we had no facility there to have rest. So we stayed in Punchakkad parish that is away from Payyannur just 3 kms.

There we spend 3 hours infront of the Eucharistic Lord. We were praying for the whole world from 9am to 12pm. And we went to Payyannur in the evening to preach the retreat.

When One of our brothers was preaching on the stage; the rest of us were praying for the retreatans in the sacristy. At that time we including me experienced Sweet Fragrance for sometime.I cannot explain it in the words....We knew that the Lord was giving us the experience of Lord's presence amidst us. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

EUCHARIST is the only POWER. Let us spend time infront of the Eucharistic Lord. The story of the 7 Sleepers originates from the collection of Speeches / homilies by Christian Bishop Jacob of Syria written in Syriac language. He wrote it to encourage God's protection during the time of persecution around 250 AD under the rule of Roman emperor Decius.

How the story of seven sleepers appeared in Quran?

Immaculate Conception Church at Manjummel Eloor Ernakulam is commonly known as Manjummel Church. It is administrated by OCD (Order of Discalced Carmelites) congregation, which was the first indigenous religious congregation in the state of Kerala. The Church is dedicated to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception.
