I can’t believe the Avery Labels thing was the last thing posted to the Mindfull blog!

Where’d we go? Well, there are several things happening in Mindfull land, but in a nutshell the bottleneck is yours truly, Handsome Robert.

Some of you from the Hotcakes Podcast days will remember a basement renovation that happened a while back. This was to better accommodate our shirt printing needs. During this period some pipes to the upstairs needed to be removed. This brought about a need to smash into a bathroom wall, which went unrepaired for at least a year. Because of recent print jobs done in the awesome new basement work area though, I finally was able to do a full, much needed bathroom reno. Great, but this caused many bathroom items to temporarily inhabit the Mindfull podcast studio, thus stalling the show for -we thought- a week or two. Not a big deal, but then one day on a Home Depot run about 1/3 of the way through the bathroom job, a dumb lady smashed into my automobile, completely writing it off (I’m fine, thanks).

After shopping for dirt-cheap cars for a month, I finally caved and went to a dealership and purchased a used 2007 Acura CSX. A very nice auto, but much more money than I had available. So I’m now making monthly payments I can JUST afford (if I never go out anywhere). This has put poor Robert into hustle mode. My time is divided between my day job, design/print work to get the bills paid, and spurts of bathroom work so I can finally shit indoors again at some point.

All in all, I can’t complain about life too much. But I wouldn’t call the street I’m on “easy”. Don’t anyone worry though; I believe persistence pays off. Mindfull WILL get to where it’s supposed to be. I just can’t say when right now.
