In my opinion, no car is perfect! I think every car has its pros and cons and there are always room for improvements.

During this entire week, I got to test drive this 2026 Hyundai Elantra N-Line Ultimate. And here are things that I like and dislike about this sporty sedan.

Like (Pros):

– Nice edgy exterior and sporty interior look.

– Despite no manual transmission, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) made this ride super quick and smooth shifting.

– Nice exhaust.  The downshift or upshift of this ride makes some cool engine and exhaust system. It’s music to my ears! I luv it!

– Surprisingly, I found these sporty seats comfy and I really felt right at home with my ass sitting on it. Luv the way it wraps me around while driving.

– Good value. $34,000 CDN MSRP is a good buy. It’s a total package.

– Fun-to-drive. The 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged pumping 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque made this Elantra super fun.

Dislike (Cons):

– Not a fan of the N-Line trim label. It’s super confusing when N is the highest performance of the Elantra and N-Line has the N accessories only. I personally feel N-Line sounds better and it may fool people to think N-Line is actually higher end than the N. Let’s call it something else to avoid confusion.

– Manual gearbox is not offered. It’s still fun to drive with the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) but I can imagine a manual stick shift will be even more fun!

– A blind spot on the rear pillar. Nowadays, most vehicles don’t have a substantial thick pillar, but I found this Elantra has one, I would have to rely on the lane changing assist feature a lot more!

– I found it a bit tedious that the high trim level in this N-Line, only the driver’s window is one touch up & down. Meanwhile, the front passenger window and rear windows have no one-touch. I have to hold my fingers to those switches to move up & down those set of windows! Argh!

– Not a fan of the gas lever and trunk release located at the bottom left side of the driver’s seat (see the image below highlighted in red arrow & circle). When it’s rainy and snowy, water can land on those buttons. Snow and mud can make those areas dirty. I am sure Hyundai can find real estate on the dashboard or console to allocate these buttons. Placing them on the ground floor beside the driver’s seat is not ideal.

在我看來，2026年現代ElantraN-Line Ultimate給我留下了非常深刻的印象。它太棒了！它絕對物超所值！性價比超高，整體表現非常優秀！它擁有時尚的外觀、出色的造型、實用的功能、足夠的動力和性能、舒適的座椅、以駕駛員為中心的儀錶盤，而且它確實能勝任各種任務。

最棒的是什麼？起價僅 34,000 加元？在這個價位上，你很難買到其他入門車型。

我唯一希望這款 N-Line 能提供的就是手排，可惜它沒有。它只配備了 7 速雙離合器變速箱，雖然也不錯，但想想如果換成手排，駕駛樂趣豈不是更上一層樓？

Overall Summary:

In my opinion, 2026 Hyundai Elantra N-Line Ultimate impresses me very much. It’s FUN! FUN! FUN! It’s a BEST BUY! Good value, total package, bang for the buck! It got the looks, style, functionality, enough power and performance, comfy seats, driver oriented dashboard and it does the job.

Best part? Starting at $34,000 CDN + tax? You can’t really buy many entry level car at this price.

The ONLY I wish this N-Line offers is the stick shift, which it doesn’t. It only offers 7-speed double-clutch, which isn’t bad. But just imagine even more fun with a manual gearbox?

We ordered 2 lunch specials to share and it was amazing deal! Daily from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, lunch combo is $15 CDN + tax.

Lunch Combo ($15)
– 1 Main Entree (pasta/pizza/sandwhiches)
– 1 Side (could be fries/garlic bread/soup of the day/caesar salad)
– A non-alcoholic beverage (pop or coffee or tea)

The main entree isn’t the regular portion but it actually does the job for a lunch. We enjoyed the portion.

That was what we ordered:

Lunch Combo #1:
– Jambalaya Pasta (shrimps, Italian spicy sausage, chicken) and green onions, fresh pasta
– Soup of the day (today was creamy of potato and bacon)
– Coffee (unlimited)

Lunch Combo #2:
– Pizza of the day (Whiskey BBQ Chicken Pizza – Individual Size)
– Caesar Salad
– Diet Pepsi (unlimited)

Food came out hot, hot coffee, hot soup, hot pizza and pasta, nicely prepared, which we really prefer.

This is a great place for outdoor patio seating. Moreover, also perfect to watch World Cup, Raptors, Leafs or the Blue Jays, a sporting restaurant.

Although they didn’t offer happy hour, we enjoyed the $15 lunch combo. Will definitely be back here at this specific Stouffville location as Karissa and the manager were friendly and hardworking.

My 1st impression? This Hyundai Elantra N-Line Ultimate has the sporty look, sporty interior, it’s fun to drive.

The 1.6L turbo 4-cylinder pumping 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) made this ride super quick and smooth shifting.

So far so fun to drive! The ONLY though, I wish this ride offers a manual stickshift. The dual-clutch is fun, but imagine even more fun if it is in manual gearbox.

This week, the MoVernie Team is test driving this 2026 Genesis GV70. A 5-passenger luxurious compact SUV with AWD.

My 1st impression? This Genesis GV70 is the total package. It has everything. It’s so well-made, refined, well-balanced.

It got the looks. Look amazing outside and premium interior material.

The 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder pumping 300 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The size is good too, not too big, not too small, not too high, not too low. It’s just perfect, super nimble and amazing comfy suspension.

I am in LUV! I am really impressed with Genesis. It’s a true contender against the European competition such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi.

In my opinion, no car is perfect! I think every car has its pros and cons and there are always room for improvements.

During this entire week, I got to test drive this 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve. And here are things that I like and dislike about this mid-size luxurious 4-door SUV.

Like (Pros):

– 48″ wrap around dashboard screen. This is probably the highlight for me in this 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve. I have not seen anything like this with such a long stretch of dashboard display. Feels like I am on a spaceship or NASA control center. This wrap around screen shows your speed, fuel gauge, mileage, weather and temperature, the time, all the INFO are here.

– Central Screen. In addition to the 48″ wrap around dashboard screen, there is still a central screen which controls all the settings. Screen on screen. Lincoln, you are amazing!

– Beautiful Exterior. This mid-size SUV looks amazing at all angles, it looks luxurious, futuristic and sporty.

– Illuminated Lincoln Logo. At night when it gets darker, this front grill and headlights shines even brighter. Especially with the Lincoln logo.

– Nautilus badge on the side door panel.

– Tons of leg space for both front and rear passengers. I have to say this is possibly one of the most spacious cabin I have seen in the industry. The front passengers have lots of leg room and so does the rear passengers. You feel like you are sitting in a business class on a flight in the air.

– Amazing surround sound system. Tons of speakers in all areas of the cabin. Crisp, clean sound as if you feel like you are at a live symphony.

– Digital Scent. I was playing around with the settings and the features and realized this Lincoln Nautilus offers a variety of scent, it’s a filter that will diffuse specific aroma into the cabin. If you are not allergic and not dislike of smell, this is a cool feature. People buys air fresher anyways, so this diffuser is a cool idea. In particular, I like the “Mystic Forest”, felt like I am smelling trees.

– Front massage system: The curious me was exploring the central screen and found the massage system for both the driver and front passenger. They offer 5 different styles of massage modes as well as the how hard you want the pressure ranging from a scale of 1-3. Lincoln, you put “Comfort” to the next level.

– Seats are super comfortable! In addition, it offers strong lumbar support. If you are a tall person, they even have cushions that stretch out to support your long legs. How thoughtful?

– Smooth Engine. Although this Nautilus is somewhat heavy in weight and the engine offers adequate but not spectacular with decent 250 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque, this engine is smooth and can accelerate quickly without any turbo lag. Impressive!

– Luv the panoramic sunroof. It stretches from the driver all the way to the rear passenger side.

Dislike (Cons):

– Not a fan of the beige colour of the interior. It’s blend and boring and will easy get clothing stain on it overtime.

– The seats look cheap. Although the seats are comfy but the materials look cheap and old school shape. Not a fan of it. For a luxurious SUV, I expect a little bit more richer material and style.

– Front dashboard looks cheap. As a luxury SUV, I expect more premium on this Nautilus. The front dashboard uses lots of plastic and the speaker is in plastic, would prefer more premium material.

– Many features have to use the central touch screen to operate. First of all, what on earth were the design team thinking when they didn’t include any latches or knobs to control the vents in the front dashboard? The rear vents have shifters to control the direction the air but not the front. Instead, the front passengers have to go to the touch screen, find the ventilation section, move up and down on the screen to direct the flow of the heat/air cond air, this is so tedius and distracting when driving while trying to find the right air flow. Kid you not, I couldn’t find the “comfort zone” playing around the digital ventilation. It’s stupid!

– Not a fan of the door handle location. Most vehicles door handles are located at the mid-section of the door. Instead, the Lincoln designers decided to locate the door handles at the door of the door. I understand they want to be different from its competitors and also more aerodynamic and blend with the rest of the side panel. However, it’s too high for short children. It’s awkward position for adults to try to press and open. Moreover, it’s somewhat distracting as an obstruction that while I am looking outside the window (whether to shoulder check or check the side peripheral, you can spot the annoying door handle.

– No badges or Nautilus labels at the back of the SUV. This is a preference thing. Perhaps some Lincoln owners prefer the smooth clean rear where there is a subtle “Lincoln” wording on the mid-section of the rear taillights. But there is no “Nautilus” at the rear and no trim level. I don’t like it.

– Small Side Mirrors: Very rarely would I found a SUV has small side mirrors, but I found this Lincoln Nautilus relatively small side mirrors. When I looked into the left side mirror, it looked as if there were no cars beside me. Luckily, I did my shoulder check and there was a vehicle on the blind spot. It’s odd though coz this SUV comes with lane changing assist.

在我看來，林肯Nautilus延續了林肯品牌的優良傳統。這一代Nautilus比上一代更大、更寬、更長，更豪華、更現代、更有未來感。夜幕降臨，車頭的林肯標誌在黑暗中閃耀，更顯其獨特魅力。

如果要用一個詞來形容這款林肯Nautilus，那就是「舒適」。它的座椅非常舒適，支撐性極佳。駕駛這款SUV進行長途旅行絕對是一種享受。前後排乘客的腿部空間之大讓我們驚喜不已，感覺就像坐在飛機商務艙一樣。

按摩和數位香氛功能都非常出色，我覺得市面上很少有車同時提供這兩個功能。尤其是數位香氛功能，我不太清楚有多少車配備了這項功能，所以這很棒。

Overall Summary:

In my opinion, Lincoln Nautilus has carried on with its tradition with the Lincoln label. This generation of Nautilus is bigger, wider and longer than the predecessor. It’s luxurious, modern and futuristic. It looks even better at night when the logo at the front glows in the dark.

I have one word to describe this Lincoln Nautilus, “Comfortable”. It’s super comfort with its seats, it’s supportive. You can definitely enjoy driving this SUV for a long road trip. We were surprised the amount of leg space for the front and rear passengers. It feels like you are sitting in the business class of the airplane.

The massage and digital scent features are top notch and I don’t think there are many vehicles out there that offer both features. In particular, I don’t know how many vehicles out there offer digital scent, so it’s cool.

This week, the MoVernie Team is test driving this 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve. A 5-passenger luxurious SUV.

My 1st impression? This Lincoln Nautilus has grown in size as compared to its predecessor. Luv the front headlights and the grill, especially during the evening when the Lincoln logo and the headlights light up.

Moreover, I really like the exterior body paint which is called “Whisper Blue”, from afar, I thought it’s muddy grey but it does have a hint of blue to it. A colour that I really like and if I ever buy this Lincoln, it’s a colour that I will choose as well.

Moment I walked into the cabin, the 1st thing that I noticed is the massive wrap around screen that stretches from the driver’s side all the way to the front right passenger. It feels like I am sitting behind a spaceship cockpit. The screen is beautiful, with high resolution screens and it looks like a dashboard of CP24 showing weather, news, headlines, etc.

What’s more from the long wrap around screen is the central screen. Yes, there is yet another screen.

Just like previous predecessor, I really like the piano keys buttons featuring R, D, L drive gears. And the crystal circular knob for controlling the sound volume is the highlight for me.

The shape of the steering wheel is also different. The flatten oval shaped steering wheel is easy to hold and turn the corners.

I also like the “Nautilus” black strip  on both side of the front side doors. I am not a fan of the handle being mounted so high on the doors. It’s somewhat a bit obstruction when I am looking at the side of the windows and seeing the handle bars. It’s also a bit cumbersome for kids or shorter people who have to reach up to try to open the door.

While On the MOVE at cruising speed highway speed, I noticed how quiet the cabin is and the ride is smooth and comfortable. Overall, this Lincoln Nautilus is all about “comfort”.
