My Sister called to
say that there is this #Get Cover, Stay Covered telephone conversation out
there with Joycelyn Elders. She said you know Dr. Elders is the 15th U.S.
Surgeon General. My sister said I should listen to that conversation
because I am one of those who still have not gotten around to getting health
care insurance. So, guess what, I am going to do myself and Sister a
favor and click here to listen to that Dr. Joycelyn Elders. Still sitting on the fence, hey, you can listen with me. http://youtu.be/r_39TU_furc

saying anybody can get sick or hurt. She said who would have thought that
people would be getting measles now, well, certainly not me or my sister.
My sister said Dr. Elders talks about all that stuff and about paying bills,
getting screenings, getting help to help pay for coverage, protecting your
health. There is financial help for those who qualify. They say the enrollment
deadline is February 15, that is really right around the corner. My sister is
getting really nervous for me. She said to sign up go to
healthcare.gov or call 1-800-318- 2596.That Dr. Elders sounds like she could be
my mother, my grandmother and yes, my sister “all in one”, or somebody’s
friend.

Well, what I didn’t tell my
sister is that I tripped and nearly fell down the stairs last night over those
other new shoes that I brought last week. While I grabbed the rail, I did
hurt my arm. But, I am not telling my sister. Because, a few days
before that Sister said I should give myself health care coverage for Valentine’s
Day. Well, I am not that bad; she doesn’t have to bait me and I don’t
have to trick myself. I know how to make good decisions just like my
sister does.
