संसद के मॉनसून सत्र का अभी तक सत्रावसान नहीं हुआ है. जबकि दोनों सदन 13 अगस्त को ही अनिश्चितकाल के लिए स्थगित कर दिए गए थे. हालांकि सत्रावसान तुरंत करने की बाध्यता नहीं है.लेकिन दो सत्र के बीच छह महीने से अधिक का अंतर नहीं हो सकता. अगर दोनों सदन Prorogue नहीं होते हैं तो पीठासीन अधिकारी फिर से सत्र बुला सकते हैं. इसे मॉनसून सत्र का कंटीन्यूएशन या स्पेशल सेशन कहा जा सकता है.इस बारे में सरकार को अभी फैसला करना है.

Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been moved back to Adiala Jail from Shifa International Hospita in Islamabad, a spokesman for his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party said. Khan underwent a medical check-up at the hospital and was sent back to prison after doctors deemed it safe for him to remain in custody, according to Pakistani media reports. "A team of qualified doctors, including an ophthalmologist, a cardiologist, and a physician, conducted a detailed examination of him and declared him medically fit," Information Minister Attaullah Tarar wrote on X about Khan's health checks. "After the completion of this entire process, he was transferred back to Adiala Jail," he added. The 73-year-old ex-premier was moved to a hospital around midnight for a medical evaluation following a Supreme Court order directing authorities in Islamabad to provide specialised medical care to him amid health concerns. Citing sources, Geo News reported that the PTI founder's commute to and from prison was facilitated under extremely tight security. He has now been shifted to his cell. During his brief stay at the hospital, dozens of PTI supporters had gathered near the hospital, according to French AFP news agency.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has listed out serious penalties and legal action against those found violating food safety rules, especially on the use of edible oil. FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe told reporters today that the punishment for violations can be between seven-year jail and life imprisonment or a fine of up to Rs 10 lakh.

Tukaram Mundhe On Violations Found In Sale Of Edible Oil

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has warned of strict penalties and legal action against those violating food safety rules, particularly over the sale and use of edible oil. He said violations can attract imprisonment ranging from seven years to life or a fine of up to ₹10 lakh. The FDA has also cautioned consumers against buying loose or unsealed edible oil and advised people to check batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates on packaged products. The food safety body has stepped up inspections of quick-commerce platforms, large retailers and other sellers to check the safety of edible oil.
