ग्रेटर नोएडा के ईस्टर्न पेरीफेरल हाईवे पर ओवरलोड ट्रक चालकों की लापरवाही से बड़ा हादसा टल गया, जब RTO कार्रवाई के डर से उन्होंने सड़क पर भारी पत्थर गिरा दिए. अचानक आए इन पत्थरों से हाईवे पर अफरातफरी मच गई, कई वाहन क्षतिग्रस्त हुए और दर्जनों गाड़ियों के टायर पंचर हो गए, जिससे यात्री घंटों गर्मी में फंसे रहे. सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और ट्रैफिक टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर मोर्चा संभाला और हाइवे से पत्थर हटाने लगे और पंचर वाहनों की मदद की और यातायात सामान्य कराया. अब पुलिस जिम्मेदार ट्रक चालकों की पहचान कर कार्रवाई में जुटी है.
