The employee, working for a product-based company, highlighted that they were also involved in a confrontation with HR regarding the severance pay. However, on the last day of work, they received a  job offer from a company based out of India.

"I have been working for a company for 4.5 years that pays me INR 70k. Recently, I got laid off from restructuring. While I was still in a state of shock and had a spat with HR over the severance payout," the user wrote in a Reddit post

"That very day I got a job offer where the company is based out of India. My new job will be wfh, and I will work for the client now," they added.

The employee shared that they would now be receiving a salary of Rs 1.58 lakh every month, and the work will be completely remote, meaning additional savings.

"I wanted to say I got a salary raise, now I will get a salary around INR 1.58 lakhs per month. They will be paying in US dollars," they said.

Despite the salary jump, the employee admitted that he was struggling to process it. "This feels unreal to an extent where I feel guilty to even think I will get that sort of money. I cannot believe it's luck if it's the timing. Does getting undervalued makes you really believe that you are not worth anything good? It still feels like a dream," they wrote.

'Loyalty Is overrated'

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 55 lakh through ticket windows in the domestic market on Day 6. With this, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata has amassed a total India gross collection of Rs 7.25 crore, while its India net collection currently stands at Rs 6.10 crore.

The film also recorded modest occupancy figures on its first Wednesday. As per the report, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata registered an overall occupancy of 10.13 percent. Morning shows witnessed 5.77 percent occupancy, while afternoon shows performed relatively better at 12.15 percent. Evening shows recorded 10.08 percent occupancy and night shows closed the day at 11.31 percent.

The film chronicles how they risked their own lives to protect and care for nearly 400 patients caught in the middle of one of India's darkest nights.

The cast features Kangana Ranaut as Geeta Madhav Gandhare, Girija Oak as Sheetal Revagade, Smita Tambe as Trupti Takle, Esha Dey as Babita Adsule, Prasad Oak as Kedar Thatte and Sayaji Shinde as Inspector Kamble. Reddy said the TCA would move court if the celebrities continued to be associated with the tournament.

The body of the victim, identified as Meena, worked as a domestic help and was found lying in a pool of blood on the rooftop of a building near the doctor, Manish Gupta's house. When the police reached the spot around 11:36 am after receiving information about the incident, they found Gupta sitting next to the victim's body.

According to the police, Meena's body bore multiple injuries.

Subsequently, cops detained Gupta and questioned him, where he confessed to the murder.

The doctor told the police that he first struck the househelp with a bat and then attacked her with a knife. She died on the spot.

During interrogation, Gupta claimed that he committed the crime because the househelp practiced black magic, causing disturbance of peace in the house. He claimed that his entire family was distressed due to the black magic, officials said.

However, the police said that Gupta is continuously giving different statements.

The doctor had been suffering from depression for a long time, officials said.

An investigation is also underway to determine the exact relationship between the doctor and the victim and to determine whether there was a dispute between them.

The Delhi Police have also called a crime team to the scene.

The murder weapons - the bat and the knife - have been recovered, and the police are examining footage from nearby CCTV cameras.

The doctor is currently in police custody, and a case has been filed under murder charges against him.

McMenamin wrote that, “Still, the prevailing sentiment, according to more than half a dozen sources around the league, is that James will likely return to the Lakers if he comes back, with the Golden State Warriors presenting a realistic second option.” He also noted that the Warriors can currently offer only the $15.1 million non-taxpayer midlevel exception, far below James' previous salary.

That gap gives the Lakers room to be creative. While Los Angeles could technically offer James a much larger contract, league insiders do not expect that to happen. A lower-priced deal would allow the team to keep a future Hall of Famer while creating financial flexibility. More importantly, it sets up the next major challenge facing the organization: Austin Reaves' contract situation.

Austin Reaves Free Agency Remains A Major Lakers Priority

The Lakers know that keeping Austin Reaves could be just as important as bringing back James. After delivering the best season of his career, Reaves has become one of the team's most valuable players and is expected to attract serious interest when free agency arrives.

There is already growing attention around what comes next. Several teams are expected to monitor Reaves' situation closely, and franchises with available cap space could make aggressive offers. That possibility has increased the pressure on Los Angeles to create as much flexibility as possible before negotiations begin.

The Lakers can offer Reaves a five-year contract worth up to $241 million, giving them an advantage over rival teams. President of basketball operations Rob Pelinka recently said, “He started his journey here as a Laker and has made it very clear to us that he wants his journey to continue as a Laker.” If James agrees to a team-friendly contract and Reaves stays committed to Los Angeles, the Lakers would have a clearer path toward building a stronger contender around Luka Doncic for years to come.

SBI is now selling up to 2.475 crore shares in the offer for sale. The bank currently holds 7.98 crore shares, a 3.23% stake, and is offering roughly 31% of that holding. It will retain the rest after listing.

The 80 Paisa Math

NSE's original face value was Rs 10 per share. The exchange did a 1:10 bonus in November 2016 and then a much larger 4:1 bonus in November 2024, giving four new shares for every one held as of November 2, 2024. That second bonus alone added 198 crore shares to NSE's paid-up capital, all at nil acquisition cost. Spread across SBI's entire holding, that drags the weighted average down to 80 paise.

SBI first received NSE shares on August 9, 1993, in a preferential allotment at Rs 10 each. More followed in a second preferential allotment on April 15, 1994, again at Rs 10. A rights issue in June 1999 at Rs 30 per share added further to the holding. Over the years, SBI trimmed its position several times, specifically in 2007, 2010, 2016, 2018, and 2019, selling tranches to buyers including MS Strategic (Mauritius) and HDFC Standard Life Insurance.

SBI Stake Worth And What The DRHP Doesn't Say

The DRHP carries no offer price. The price band will be disclosed only in the Red Herring Prospectus, once SEBI processes the filing and the company decides to open the issue.

What the DRHP does disclose is the range of secondary market transactions in NSE shares over the past year: Rs 1,350 to Rs 2,260 per share. At Rs 1,350, SBI's 2.475 crore offered shares would fetch around Rs 3,341 crore. At Rs 2,260, the same block comes to roughly Rs 5,591 crore. These are calculations based on disclosed secondary market prices, not the IPO price, which has not been set.

Who Else Is Selling

The full Offer For Sale covers up to 14.89 crore shares across 22 selling shareholders. The other large corporate sellers include MS Strategic (Mauritius) at up to 1.6 crore shares with a weighted average cost of Rs 66.54, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board at up to 1.19 crore shares at Rs 324.13, Aranda Investments (Mauritius) at up to 1.12 crore shares at Rs 62.38, Bank of Baroda at up to 1.10 crore shares at Rs 0.54, and Stock Holding Corporation of India at up to 1.09 crore shares at Rs 0.46.

Four individuals are also selling under the OFS, namely Amit Kumar Lohia (up to 25,000 shares, WACA Rs 641.71), Rajiv Bolla (up to 7,500 shares, WACA Rs 660.02), Shaik Samdani Basha (up to 1,000 shares, WACA Rs 640), and Mahesh Gupta (up to 500 shares, WACA Rs 1,826.85). None of the four are identified by profession or designation in the DRHP.

Samantha told Galatta Plus India, "I am going to meet him and I am so excited. I am never excited to meet anyone, but this time I am. I have worked with Vijay sir in three films."

The injury occurred in the 53rd minute when Qatar midfielder Assim Madibo lunged into a challenge on Kone near the halfway line. The Canada international immediately collapsed to the turf and appeared to be in significant pain as teammates and medical staff rushed to his aid. Television replays of the incident showed Kone's left lower leg and foot appearing to twist awkwardly on impact, prompting further concern for the player.

Medical personnel spent several minutes treating the 24-year-old before he was placed on a stretcher and taken off the field. Following a VAR check, Madibo was shown a straight red card, leaving Qatar to play the remainder of the match with nine men, having picked up another red card earlier.

Kone was replaced by Nathan Saliba in the 56th minute. Saliba scored a direct free-kick in the 64th minute and celebrated by holding up Kone's shirt in tribute to their injured star. Canada went to win the tie 6-0, which could be enough to secure qualification to the knockout rounds. 

While Canada have yet to release an official update on the extent of the injury, the sight of Kone lying on the pitch with his foot dangling, raise fears of a lengthy absence.
