         <title>What's new OpenTunnels?</title>

&lt;br /&gt;We were a bit quiet for a longer time. Sorry. But today - finally - we can tell you something more about &lt;b&gt;GTA: OpenTunnels&lt;/b&gt; mod production process. Actually, I can, because it&amp;#039;s Jamsza&amp;#039;s work in fact ;)
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;Jamsza had to pause his work on OTM for few weeks, but he&amp;#039;s back now and pushes things forward every day. Don&amp;#039;t worry, mod production is in final stage, so sometimes Jamsza can make a &amp;quot;&lt;i&gt;little break&lt;/i&gt;&amp;quot;. Great. Yesterday I have published latest screenshots from his 3D Studio Max. You can check them &lt;a rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;, on Facebook in our gallery.

&lt;br /&gt;When we were chatting few days ago, Jamsza told me, that the brand new &amp;quot;&lt;b&gt;Ghost Town&lt;/b&gt;&amp;quot; is already done and now he&amp;#039;s just polishing stuff (such as prettier textures for storefronts, etc) to make sure all buildings look awesome :) Hopefully, you will love it too. However, this doesn&amp;#039;t mean that &lt;b&gt;OTM&lt;/b&gt; will be released next month. We would like to, but no - sorry! OpenTunnels isn&amp;#039;t just like a regular game modification. It&amp;#039;s SOMETHING MORE. We do not want you to play it for 10 minutes and quit. No, no guys :) This can&amp;#039;t be like that.

&lt;br /&gt;As I said, currently Jamsza is finishing the map. Until the end of year he will be packing that big stuff (models, textures) into game&amp;#039;s engine and configuring it (collision files, peds&amp;amp;cars paths, lighting, weather, etc). Then (early 2010) everything must be tested - closed tests, sorry (again)!

&lt;br /&gt;I have to say that: it&amp;#039;s so BIG, all of it. During development process Jamsza realised that it&amp;#039;s impossible to pack such huge map and insert all it&amp;#039;s new config lines into old GTA III engine, so he decided to &lt;u&gt;move entire project to Vice City&amp;#039;s engine&lt;/u&gt; and use popular &lt;b&gt;GTA: LC&lt;/b&gt; modification as a base for OTM. It&amp;#039;s more flexible and provide many features so useful for developer. Yes, it&amp;#039;s not that old, good III anymore, but Jamsza promised try to keep that dark and &amp;quot;dirty&amp;quot; game&amp;#039;s atmosphere we all love. It might be even better ;)
