HARRISBURG, Pa., June 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency is accepting bids to purchase $10 million in affordable housing tax credits. Proceeds from the winning bids will support the construction or rehabilitation of affordable rental communities across Pennsylvania. All bids must be submitted by 2 p.m., Friday, July 21.

PHFA staff anticipate the proceeds from these credits will result in the creation or renovation of 10 affordable multifamily developments and 400 total affordable rental units.

“The creation of the Affordable Housing Tax Credit is a big win for Pennsylvanians, and we are excited to open up bidding for this tax credit,” said PHFA Executive Director and CEO Robin Wiessmann. “We look forward to working with the winning bidders to secure funding to be used to expand affordable housing opportunities throughout the Commonwealth.”

These tax credits will be used by the winning bidder to reduce their state tax liability. Bidders can be companies, organizations, or individuals. The intent of the bidding process is to raise as much funding as possible from the $10 million in tax credits being made available. PHFA will award credits to the highest qualified bidders.

The Affordable Housing Tax Credit was created as part of Act 45 of 2025 and PHFA was directed to administer the credit. The AHTC was established to encourage the development, rehabilitation and preservation of qualified low-income rental housing projects.

(“IMC” or the “Company“) (NASDAQ: IMCC), a medical cannabis company with operations in Israel and Germany, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the “Letter of Intent“) with Slil.com Holding Ltd., a privately-held Israeli entity beneficially owned and controlled by Oren Shuster, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, a director and debtholder of IMC (“Slil“), pursuant to which the Company has agreed to sell to Slil its European-focused assets (the “Transaction“).

Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Letter of Intent, the Company will sell its wholly owned subsidiary, I.M.C. Holdings Ltd. (“IMC Holdings“), to Slil, which, following a pre-closing reorganization, will primarily hold the Company’s European operations, including Adjupharm GmbH in Germany, as well as the Company’s interests in Xinteza API Ltd. and Shiran Societe Anonyme.

In consideration for the sale of all the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of IMC Holdings, Slil will assume an aggregate of approximately C$10,500,000 of debt held by the Company and IMC Holdings, comprised of C$7,500,000 in retained liabilities and an additional C$3,000,000 in certain short-term liabilities, significantly reducing IMC’s debt burden.

Following the completion of the Transaction, IMC will retain its core Israeli operations, primarily through its subsidiaries Focus Medical Herbs Ltd., Rosen High Way Ltd., R.A. Yarok Pharm Ltd., and Rivoly Trading and Marketing Ltd., allowing the Company to concentrate its resources on the Israeli market while pursuing potential additional investment opportunities and streamlining its corporate structure.

The Company believes that the proposed Transaction, if and when completed, may lead to a substantial debt reduction of C$10,500,000, improved working capital and balance sheet strength, enhanced cash flow, focus on operational efficiency and expected positive impact on long-term shareholder value.

ORLANDO, Fla., June 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The iconic Sirius Building in Sydney’s historic Rocks district reopened in December 2025 as a luxury residential development, marking a new chapter for one of Australia’s most significant Brutalist landmarks. The redevelopment specified the Penetron System of topical crystalline waterproofing products to restore and protect the building’s concrete structure, which had suffered extensive spalling after decades of exposure.

Originally designed between 1978 and 1979 to rehouse public tenants displaced by redevelopment in The Rocks during the 1960s and 1970s, the Sirius Building stands as one of Australia’s most prominent examples of Brutalist architecture, celebrated for its bold geometry and expressive use of concrete.

“As an object of historical significance and a subject of public interest, the Sirius Building was saved from demolition and transformed into a luxury apartment complex,” said Jozef van Beeck, Director of International Sales & Marketing. “The redevelopment carefully preserved the building’s distinctive Brutalist character while integrating contemporary design elements.”

The project expanded the building’s total floor area by 27%, increasing it to approximately 8,320 square meters (91,500 square feet). The original 79 public housing units were reconfigured into 75 high-end apartments, complemented by new amenities including a restored Phillip Room as a ground-floor communal space, a gym, swimming pools, cafés, and street-level commercial areas.

During refurbishment, contractors encountered significant deterioration of the concrete structure. Internal concrete walls showed advanced spalling (the braking or flaking of concrete surfaces), while external surfaces had endured nearly 50 years of chloride attack from Sydney Harbour and carbonation (chemical reaction from nearby exhaust gases) caused by the nearby Cahill Expressway. These conditions required comprehensive repair and long-term protection.

Following surface preparation, PENECRETE MORTAR—a crystalline waterproofing repair grout—was applied to seal major cracks. This was followed by a slurry application of PENETRON, a topically applied crystalline waterproofing material designed to provide permanent protection.

The active ingredients in the Penetron System react with moisture and cementitious compounds to form non-soluble crystals within the concrete’s pores and capillary pathways. These crystals permanently seal microcracks and prevent the ingress of water and aggressive chemicals from any direction, enhancing durability and extending the structure’s service life.

“With the integration of PENETRON technology, this urban redevelopment project is engineered to perform reliably for decades, supporting future generations of residents,” van Beeck said.

WASHINGTON, June 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The National Restaurant Association today called on Congress to delay a federal ban on hemp-derived THC beverages set to take effect in November, and urged lawmakers to establish a clear regulatory framework that ensures consumer safety and supports restaurant operators serving these products.

Low-dose hemp-derived THC beverages are non-alcohol drinks made with small, precise amounts of THC derived from legal hemp. They deliver a mild, relaxed experience that provides an alternative option to customers interested in engaging socially without consuming alcohol. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC, enabling the development of this growing product category.

In a letter to Congressional leadership, the Association outlined its support for a durable regulatory framework that sets baseline standards including age verification, production and quality assurances, marketing and labeling requirements, dosing disclosures, and operationalizable impairment standards. The framework should also empower state and local governments to tailor market-specific rules, similar to how alcohol beverages are regulated.

“Consumers have made it clear that they want hemp-derived THC beverages,” said Sean Kennedy, Chief Advocacy Officer of the National Restaurant Association. “The only question is whether Washington will create a way they can enjoy them safely or if they will allow a thriving market supporting small business owners to disappear because they wouldn’t create a sensible regulatory framework.”

Consumer interest in hemp-derived THC beverages is real and growing. According to National Restaurant Association research, 5% of restaurants that serve alcohol currently offer these beverages, and 26% of all restaurants are interested in offering them under a clear regulatory framework—representing a potential market of $1.6 billion annually.

“Consumer demand for THC beverages is driven by a shift in drinking habits, particularly among younger diners whose lifestyles are diverging from traditional beverage alcohol,” said Kennedy. “For operators – especially those running high-volume beverage venues – these products offer an alternative for guests who want a social drinking experience without alcohol.”

Why Hemp-Derived THC Beverages Matter for Restaurant Operators

Restaurants operate on razor-thin margins. In 2024, the median fullservice restaurant’s pre-tax margin fell to 2.8%, down from 4% in 2019, and last year 42% of operators reported no profit at all. Hemp-derived THC beverages are a new, regulated product category that can help operators remain competitive and responsive to consumer demand. But, for operators already offering hemp-derived THC beverages, the revenue loss from a federal ban could be the difference between profit and loss.

The Association is asking Congress for a two-year delay on the ban, which would give operators the predictability they need—especially multi-unit and franchised brands navigating varied state approaches—while Congress develops a national framework.
