The satin lace looks elegant and is comfortable on the toes. The high-quality leather sole is very comfortable to walk on and the glitter ankle strap is perfectly finished. I was a little worried at first whether the stones would destroy my stockings and tights, but the glitter tubes are made with very soft leather on the inside, so you don’t have to worry about that.

The heel is 11.5 cm in size 38 and is a heel height that I like to wear. The elegant silhouette as a whole enhances every outfit. The heel is comfortable thanks to the good construction and the overall feel is soft. The open heel makes the evening look even more special and very elegantly feminine. I don’t have the feeling of slipping extremely in the shoes. The size and fit of the shoes is also very comfortable for me and in line with my usual shoe size 37.

I opted for an intense color with the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer lip gloss, but there are also many color options in subtle colors.

Intense blueberry sheer 040 is a dark red that comes in a transparent case with a silver screw-on lid. There is a beautiful silver Dior logo on the case, which stands out noticeably in relief.

On the lips, the color is even better than I imagined. It is really opaque without any additional lipstick. The color looks more like raspberry or strawberry on its own, but no longer like blueberry, as in the case.

The lips immediately look even and nourished after the first use. The cool feeling stays on the lips even longer than I know it from similar lip volume lip glosses.

The new colors, which now also leave an intense, holographic and shimmering impression on the lips, are also interesting.

If you apply another lipstick or lip gloss after the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer lip gloss, you should dab the product off a little before applying the next layer of lipstick to your lips.

The slightly tingling sensation remains even after dabbing. The lips feel nourished and plumper for the next few hours. The slightly sticky base is perfect for applying more lip color.

The Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil is known to be nourishing, ultra-shiny and color-intensifying for the lips. With an extremely nourishing formula, the lips are softened and intensively protected by cherry oil.

The case is also transparent but with easier Dior lettering. It immediately looks a little more like a care product and the case is shorter and thicker than the Lip Maximizer.

A wider foam applicator for application is attached to the silver cap with ball. The smell and taste is slightly sweeter and the mint is less dominant. The lip oil also runs a little, but you don’t see it immediately, as with intensely opaque colors.

The Cherry Oil feels thicker on the lips, but not sticky. You can feel and see this kind of protective layer, like a coat of varnish. The lips look smooth and shiny, without the tingling sensation of the Maximizer.

006 Berry – Dior Lip Glow Cherry Oil

I was also interested in the darkest berry color of this Lip Glow Oil and you can immediately see that the color is really only a hint on the lips.

With Dior’s Maximizer, the color is more intense and more noticeable. However, this is not a negative aspect for me, but rather an easy way to achieve a different kind of effect and care effect.

The feeling on the lips is very pleasant and the oil does not run, although I really expected this. The lip oil beautifies the lips and emphasizes the natural lip color.

You can use the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil as a primer when you dab it on, or as a top coat, and of course you can also use it on its own. Even if it doesn’t enlarge the lips, they immediately appear smoother and more glossy without being sticky or greasy.

The product promises beautiful-looking lips after five days of use, even without lipstick. You can literally feel that the lips are extremely nourished and enriched by the care ingredients. An all-rounder that is visibly good for the lips.

Elegant DIOR Addict lipstick with limited edition lipstick case

The name Dior stands for elegance and luxury and that is exactly what my new lipstick in my Lady Dior bag should radiate and emphasize.

The first time I saw the new cases from Dior Addict was spontaneously while Christmas shopping. However, I found a limited edition case that was already sold out the most beautiful. I decided to wait until I was convinced by a new case and picked up two other lipsticks.

Pink Cannage DIOR Addict Case – Limited Edition

I’m a fan of the Cannage pattern from Dior. It’s originally supposed to be reminiscent of an old woven chair. When I saw that the case was now available as a limited edition in this pretty cannage pattern in soft pink glossy lacquer, I knew it was worth the wait.

Unfortunately, limited really means limited, because the case is no longer available, but a similar version with a silver finish is.

The soft pink case feels really elegant in your hands. It looks chic and is even lightly padded. The silver Dior logo stands out noticeably, which makes it easier to find in your handbag and also looks very elegant.

The great thing about this interchangeable case system is that you can put together your favorite product exactly the way you want it. Almost like the interchangeable cases for smartphones. It feels extremely individual and personal, which I really like.

922 Wildior DIOR Addict lipstick refill

I opted for the Dior Addict lipstick color in 922 Wildior. I wavered between 845 Vinyl Red, 720 Icône and the Wildior, but I opted for the darkest shade of this selection.

While the shade on the online selection color blob looks rather dark brown, there were pictures of a shiny intense cherry red behind it that convinced me.

The Dior Addict Refill is of course supplied without a case. If you prefer a normal black case, you can also order the regular Dior Addict directly and will not need a refill product with a limited edition case.

To protect the refill when it is delivered, there is a small black protective cap with the CD logo at the end of the lipstick. The Dior Addict Refill is completely silver and has a flat silver ball with the CD logo on it at the end, which then also protrudes visibly from the case.

If you put the two parts, case and lipstick, together with an audible “click”, you have your very special DIOR beauty product. The weight looks elegant, even if it is a little top-heavy.

The scent of the moisturizing lipstick with gloss finish is fruity and smells of floral jasmine. 90% of the ingredients are of natural origin and leave a creamy texture on the lips, which then provide them with moisture for 24 hours.

The luminous, ultra-shiny color remains visible and easily noticeable for approx. 6 hours. Jasmine wax moisturizes and at the same time creates a fluid but pleasant texture.

Rich in essential fatty acids and omega fatty acids, plum oil is particularly helpful in caring for and protecting the lips for a long time. Furthermore, vegetable oils help to optimally distribute the pigments and make them look perfect with an intense shine.

When you apply the lipstick, you immediately notice the high-quality texture and nourishing ingredients. It feels light on the lips, soft and not sticky. The gloss on the lips immediately looks well-groomed and you know that it can only be good for your lips to always have this lipstick to hand in your handbag.

The lipstick doesn’t run much and tastes and smells elegant, but not as intense as my Diorific, which contained a lot more fragrance. This Dior Addict lipstick looks super classy and chic, feels classy and also looks elegant and classy on the lips.

525 Chérie the slightly pink-heavy red for lively and feminine lips with naturalness. 720 Icône the shade that most closely resembles mine and embodies an intense rosewood nuance for a modern look.

I am absolutely happy with my new Dior lipstick and really like the design and color I chose myself. I also find the feeling and shine on my lips pleasant and the overall concept quickly makes this Dior lipstick my favorite Dior lipstick.

If you want your lips to be even shinier, you can use the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer beforehand. I’ll tell you more soon about which Dior gloss I prefer on my lips, the Maximizer or the Dior Lip Oil.

Just a little info, if you want to order online in the Dior store, make sure that your credit card address matches the delivery address, otherwise there seem to be some security-related problems in the online beauty store that don’t exist in the normal Dior store. It all sounded like me, my attitude and above all: absolutely not boring, but unforgettable. The perfume would also go perfectly with my Chanel lipsticks, so it was clear that I had found my new perfume.

DIOR Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick – long-lasting liquid lacquer

Time to introduce you to my new liquid lipstick from Dior. Does it really deliver what it promises? It is supposed to be liquid and long-lasting, which solves exactly the problem that many liquid lipsticks have.

I love liquid lipsticks because they draw a lot of attention to the lips and the shine of lacquer lipsticks in particular is often extremely beautiful. It’s almost like wearing varnish or latex on your lips.

I love lacquer and latex, so you won’t be surprised that I had to try the DIOR Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick.

Packaging and case for Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick

I admit, the DIOR label looks very good in my Lady Dior bag and looks coherent and fitting. When you remove the plain dark cardboard packaging with silver print, you have a black or midnight blue shiny lacquer “normal” looking lipstick in your hand.

I still sometimes have to look twice to see whether I’ve picked up my liquid lipstick or my normal lipstick from Dior, because you can’t see the difference with the glossy lipstick version straight away, as you can with the matte version through a transparent matte case.

The case has a silver CD logo on the cap, which is twisted off, and the beautiful silver cannage pattern remains visible as a wreath on the lower case when it is twisted off.

Compared to the regular Rouge Dior lipstick, however, the case feels much lighter. This keeps the handbag a touch lighter. When you open the lipstick, you can see the petal-shaped applicator, which contains just the right amount for the lips in the reservoir.

875 Enigmatic Lipstick DIOR Rouge Dior Forever Liquid

I chose the Rouge Dior Forever Liquid 875 Enigmatic lipstick because I really liked the color. A dark, intense berry red that is only available for a short time.

There are always a few special colors that match the season so that everyone has the opportunity to find their absolute favorite color. In addition to the classic colors, the concept is of course beautiful, but it’s always a shame when your favorite color is no longer available.

Impression of the DIOR Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick

The application is really easy and convincing from the first impression. You have to leave the lipstick to dry for 5 minutes after application. I always leave my mouth open a little for this.

You can immediately feel that there is a light film on your lips, but it doesn’t feel unpleasant. You get used to it within five minutes and immediately enjoy the shine.

However, the lipstick runs a little into the lip grooves after about 30 minutes. I therefore always use an additional lip liner. However, it also helps to go carefully around the lips with a Kleenex and then it doesn’t run much. Only the edges are a little “fuzzier” afterwards and no longer as precise as with my long-lasting matte MAC lipsticks.

The smell of the Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick is not sweet, but rather somewhat chemical when applied. As soon as the slightly cooling sensation wears off, you no longer notice the smell. During the drying time, the lips feel slightly sticky, but this subsides as soon as the lips are moistened.

Compared to the Chanel Rouge Allure Laque as a fluid lipstick, the shine is even more intense and I find that it lasts a little longer.

The color stays on the lips and is stunning. It literally burns into the lips like a tattoo. The hold is different to my MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour or the MAC Locked Kiss Ink. With these two, the lips become matt, dull and dry, but the hold is extremely good.

With Dior Liquid Lacquer, the lips remain glossy and like a lacquer coating that stays glossy longer than other lipsticks do. At the same time, the lips appear slightly plumped up. Where MAC Cosmetics fails, DIOR Beauty has found a solution.

Conclusion on the DIOR Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick

Dior’s non-staining liquid lipstick comes with a glossy or matte and ultra-pigmented finish that resists touch and won’t rub off on fabric.

The lipstick coats the lips with a barely perceptible film, making them feel almost make-up-free and look really perfect.

Among the color variants, the iconic red, 999 Forever Dior, and the universal nude shade, 100 Forever Nude, are particularly noteworthy. The lipstick promises color intensity for 12 hours. However, this always depends on what you eat and what exactly you do with your lips.

The Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick is a game-changer because, as a liquid lacquer lipstick, it not only offers intense color, but also a long-lasting hold that lasts all day long.

Think about what you are particularly good at or what makes it easy for you to create new content. It is not without reason that there are often TikTok videos with a young dog, for example. You always have a perfect partner with you who is happy to join in and it looks cute too.
3. Stay authentic: Don’t pretend to be TikTok and don’t copy other successful channels. These channels are so successful because they are authentic in the content they create. You would always be in competition and be a copy. Make your own strengths (or weaknesses) your specialty and it can also be imperfect. If you don’t pretend, people are much more likely to follow you. I couldn’t produce funny dance videos either, even if it was successful on TikTok. There are other creators who can and do it much better. Everyone has their own strengths for a perfect TikTok start.
4. Post regularly: No app thrives on visibility like TikTok. The algorithm is very precise, but also enables it to go viral very quickly. Even if not every person who has watched your video becomes a follower straight away, it will still be registered and help you to promote your next video. Think about 5-10 video clips (even shorter ones) that you can upload at regular intervals at the beginning before you have to create, edit and upload new content every day.
5. Activity – interact with your community: Compared to Instagram and YouTube, TikTok offers significantly more opportunities to interact with your followers. Respond to comments and reactions, say thank you for likes and views and use the duets function with other TikTok users. On the one hand, this shows that you care about your community and that you are happy to receive feedback on videos and ideas.

Why TikTok is the perfect start for beginners

TikTok is currently an app and a social media network with an extremely high reach, a very high level of interactivity and at the same time many opportunities to attract attention or quickly gain followers.

Creativity and interactivity are particularly emphasized on TikTok and often participating in a dance challenge is enough to get a good start and then increase your channel and produce more content. But of course you should always focus on your health in all challenges. Unfortunately, TikTok sometimes has challenges in its range that are absolutely not recommendable and absolutely do not deserve attention. Always think about your health and the people around you before you do anything for “fame” or “notoriety”.

If you stick to these warnings, you have countless opportunities to try out your own creativity, whether with cool cuts, special camera angles or the various options in the app – from cool filters and special fonts to collaborations.

Hardly any other app currently offers such hype when it comes to cool videos – and unlike YouTube, the length is secondary. TikTok followers usually want to have short content, experience short moments and then scroll on. Don’t try to produce the perfect video that contains all the content that is running on other channels. Find your own content and try it out with lots of small scenes.

For me it was important to often simply present my outfit of the day (OOTD). In the early days of Instagram, it was almost common to take a mirror selfie and then share it with your followers. Today, Instagram has long since lost its fascination due to far too many ads in the stream, inappropriate ads due to the algorithm and no clear structure of the app as to where it should go.

TikTok – the easiest way for fashion and travel communication

Rarely has it been so easy to create modern content and make it interesting. Where you used to need complex editing and programs for a YouTube video in vlog style, today you can do everything in most free apps on your smartphone or directly on TikTok. The narrative styles have changed, it no longer has to be a 10-minute YouTube clip, it can be short, concise or interesting. The followers, fans and joy are then much more looking forward to the next part a few days later.

The same applies to fashion looks and special outfits on TikTok. While the famous “mirror selfie” used to be almost standard on Instagram and countless influencers photographed themselves in front of the same set every day, there was often a big problem. You only saw one side of the outfit or not, as the look falls. Now they’re all little simple video clips that you can also send to friends via WhatsApp or iMessage and, unlike an embellished photo, the mood and feel of the clothes is conveyed much better.

Reasons why you should choose TikTok:

1. Trend-based format: TikTok thrives on trends and is constantly reinventing itself and its content. There are hip trends, fun challenges and cool music. Two or three cool videos are often enough to increase the number of followers and see the first successes. In contrast to Instagram and Instagram reels, you can see much more quickly what works, what’s “in” at the moment and which looks are popular with people
2. Interaction: Even if other platforms also offer comments and likes, TikTok gives you even more opportunities to interact with your own community. You can react quickly and easily to comments and suggestions and also quickly derive a new video from them. It increases the loyalty of the community, provides new ideas for videos and creates a high level of trust and therefore even more views and reactions for your own videos.
3. Global: Hardly any other network is growing as strongly worldwide as TikTok. In many countries, TikTok is the absolute number one app on smartphones among the younger generation. People communicate about it, share videos and thoughts. While the older generation still prefers phone calls, communication today is exclusively via messenger and videos. However, this also means for creators and influencers that the target groups are online at all times and can see the new content immediately.

The right mix at TikTok: Fashion, travel and behind-the-scenes

With my TikTok channels, I want to make sure that there is something for everyone. It is often difficult to pack all content into one channel, especially if, for example, as a travel blogger or fashion blogger you also have personal moments or thoughts that don’t necessarily fit into the fashion stream. Anyone who is only interested in your fashion would certainly be put off following the channel by moments with your dog or cat, as well as problems with your boyfriend. The right fans will also follow your two channels and it will help you with the structure.

Maybe it will help your orientation for your TikTok start as a beginner, but I had considered the following structure for my channels.

TikTok fashion channel – Vanessa.Pur:

• Mainly complete fashion looks, just as the lookbooks used to be online on YouTube or on my blog – VanessaPur.com. Beautiful backdrops, a mix of my typical outfits in everyday life and for events
• Username identical to my well-known Instagram channel – @Vanessa.Pur – which has been online for many years

Behind-the-scenes channel – TikTok channel – ItsVanessaPur:

• There are often lots of funny and interesting moments while traveling, but they don’t fit on a pure fashion channel.
• I also often film moments that were once planned for a YouTube video, but are then not used because they are either too short or the story is not completely appropriate, so there is often content like this here.
• Sneak peeks – exclusive content from unboxing new clothes, preparing for my calendar production or creating new videos for YouTube or Patreon.
• I’m sure there will be a scene or two from a delicious breakfast, a nice dinner or a special event – usually with my fashion look

Channel to blog – TikTok channel – VanessaPur.com

• Close-ups and additional content: When you film lookbooks or videos from YouTube, there are often many scenes that are simply very beautiful and have a great atmosphere, but no longer fit into the video. So if you’re looking for a close-up of my high heels, tights or leather pants or anything else that goes with this blog, you can find them on the TikTok channel VanessaPurcom

TikTok for beginners – become successful

TikTok lives above all from you – your interaction and your likes, comments and moments. If you want to create your own channel and get started as a creator and influencer, you should be guided by the following points:

1. Create content in advance: try it out, try different styles in your videos, play around with editing programs and find out what is particularly easy for you and what you enjoy doing. There is no point in trying to create different content. It may be successful in the short term, but you have to pretend too often and lose interest (and therefore success) in the long run
2. Plan your content: On which days would you like to upload a video, which days are already filled with other activities? Start with 2-3 videos per week and find out which days of the week are less popular for your topics. Friday evenings, for example, are often not as interesting, as many people are out and about and don’t look at their smartphones as much. Use the other days to like, comment and make other people aware of your videos (without spamming!)
3. Stand out with your videos and your profile picture: If you have a cool style, a special look or a special way of filming, you will also stand out and be shared. The same applies to comments and likes. People who have an interesting profile picture are viewed more often and I also tend to look at profiles if the picture looks interesting and I want to know who is behind it. This significantly increases the likelihood that your channel will be seen and that people will follow you.
4. Take part in challenges: Take part in challenges and use hashtags to share your own fashion looks and behind-the-scenes moments. Together you can build an inspiring community.

CONCLUSION – TikTok for beginners

TikTok is the largest active network there is at the moment and, unlike other networks such as Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook or X/Twitter, the increase has not yet come to an end. The search for new and creative content continues to grow and therefore also offers beginners on TikTok a good opportunity to become successful and build their own brand.

TikTok thrives on support, a community and togetherness. Those who only want to post content – without interacting – will not be happy and successful in the long run.

Tiktok offers countless opportunities for TikTok beginners to find their own niche and make it special. In contrast to YouTube or Instagram, the growth rates are significantly higher and it’s easier to try things out. A good video quickly generates 100, 1000 or even 10,000 views and the number of followers grows.

It is well known that getting the first 100 followers is hard, as is getting the first 1000 followers and the first 10,000 followers and then at some point it just works itself out…
