I think John Woo should direct the next Purge movie!

If you don't know, John Woo is a filmmaker, and he's known as a highly influential figure in the action film genre. He directed Silent Night (2023), Face/Off (1997), Mission: Impossible 2 (2000), Hard Target (1993), and waaaaay more. I recently fell down the John Woo rabbit hole, and I love it down here! I don't ever want to leave! A little bit ago, I started watching the Purge franchise because I missed the last three in theaters, and I feel like the franchise is missing a special touch from John Woo himself!

We are headed to Ñuble this week!

Back in May, one of Chile's more prolific filmmakers, Patricio Valladares, has wrapped filming his latest, a black metal horror flick, INVOKING YELL! It was filmed in Los Lleuques, Ñuble.

If you are like and adore Chilean horror movies you may want to keep a look out for this one! I believe this one was released over seas but unfortunately there is no US distribution so no release date (Boo!!) However! It will hit the festival circuit next year in 2023.

Synopsis: Set in 1997 South of Chile, where a trio of metalhead twenty-something girls venture into the woods to shoot their demo tape for their black metal band, Invoking Yell, while also documenting the eerie and unsettling process of recording psicofonias in the woods for the final track.

Synopsis: At a manor with a mysterious history, the 8 members of the Midnight Club meet each night at midnight to tell sinister stories – and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond.

Currently, they are writing and directing the new horror movie, COSMETIC, which is based on Atomic Monster's James Wan and Ingrid Bisu.

According to Deadline, Screen Gems has already acquired COSMETIC, which "is set in the beauty industry, colliding the worlds of glamour and body horror in a supernatural tale of one girl’s deadly pursuit of perfection."

The upcoming American comedy-horror, THE MUNSTERS will be coming our way in September!

Produced, written and directed by Rob Zombie this film is based on the 1960s family sitcom of the same name.

Synopsis: Lily is a typical 150-year-old lovelorn vampire who's looking for the man of her nightmares -- until she lays her eyes on Herman, a 7-foot-tall green experiment with a heart of gold. It's love at first shock as these two ghouls fall fangs over feet for each other in a Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, it's not all smooth sailing in the cemetery as Lily's father has other plans for his beloved daughter's future, and they don't involve her new bumbling beau.

I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see this one. I think it's cute that Rob Zombie is a huge fan of The Munsters. Based on the trailer, it looks like it's going to be a blast! I'm really looking forward to see what he does with this one.
