Knowledge and power. - They say knowledge is power, but what they don’t say is that if you don’t apply that knowledge you remain powerless all the same. This book is not designed to do things for you, rather it teaches you the principals behind human nature and how to benefit from what would inevitably seem obvious to anyone who is willing to apply the knowledge in this book. If you don’t believe that words can change your world for the better, then ask yourself, has there ever been something said to you that has made your day worse? If say someone has bad breath, they will brush their teeth. If you say someone is fat enough times, they will lose weight. If you tel someone that improving your business is possible and they LISTEN, their business will improve. Your job is to read and LISTEN to what is being said here. Nice historical novel - I really enjoy these sorts of historical novels - especially novels about Naval history. I wish that the author would have included a glossary of terms and phrases with this book at I was not familiar with many of the nautical terms, historical slang, and “common knowledge” references that were used throughout. I was also somewhat disappointed with the lack of a coherent plot. As the book moves from mission to mission, the author introduces characters & concepts that seem to knit together a larger story, but that is never achieved. Most disappointing is the ending which wraps up JA’s last mission, but fails to address the book as a whole. We’re not even left with a cliffhanger! Those points aside, the book was a fun read, filled with lots of action & adventure. I’ll certainly be reading more in the series!

Can’t Wait To Binge Remaining Stories!! Absolutely Loved Liam!! - Review Liam: Dublin Kings By L.K. Shaw L.K. Shaw loves to dangle delicious little tidbits in front of you and tease you with their phenomenal goodness just knowing you’re going to suffer dramatically until you get more. And that is exactly what she has done with her Novella Liam introducing us to the Dublin Kings series. OMG this man is the epitome of OTT Alpha Hotness. Liam is definitely meant to be a King and when he sets his sights on someone there’s no stopping him, he does everything he can to get them even if it means against their will. Liam and Imogen are the perfect pair even if she is in utter denial of it. The chemistry and air surrounding these two is of the charts intense. This may have been a quick tease but it was definitely packed full of danger, action, steam, lies, secrets, betrayal and serious power plays. Ends on a cliffy that will leave you begging and pleading for more of these two, especially since their story can continue in so many different ways and directions. Seriously am looking forward to this entire series but most definitely looking forward to Liam and Imogen’s story. Highly recommend this and all books by L.K.

Liam: LK Shaw - Review for Liam (Dublin Kings) by LK Shaw: Overall, I enjoyed this quick, easy read from Shaw. I loved that Liam is a possessive alpha male, and Imogen’s fiery personality was great. My biggest irk of this book was the major cliffhanger ending! As a teaser for a new series, I am hoping we get the rest of Liam and Imogen’s story soon as I’m now invested. This would be a great first read for someone who wants to try thriller, darker romance with spice.

Liam - Liam gives us a taste of excitement that I know will come with the rest of the Dublin Knights books. The first time Liam encounters Imogen, he becomes obsessed with her. Liam is the ultimate alpha male, cocky and self-assured. What he wants, he gets, and he wants Imogen. He has to have her…and he almost does until she slips out of his grasp. There’s a spark between them, an electricity that can’t be denied. Liam has just become head of an Irish mob faction, and it seems Imogen might be caught in between the two most powerful mobsters in Dublin. Collection of dark and dangerous romances! - I had the opportunity to read Liam by L.K. Shaw. Liam is almost like a prequel to the Dublin Kings series, connected to the Brooklyn Kings. It does end on a cliffhanger. Liam has had his eye on Imogen and now he’s determined that she will be his. Kidnapped, Imogen tries to make the best of the situation, but as Liam works on gaining power, will Imogen’s secret destroy everything? Oh my goodness, for a short story, there is a lot packed into it! Liam and Imogen have some amazing chemistry right from the very beginning, and I adored their power dynamics. Imogen is spirited and even when she’s scared, she doesn’t back down. I liked her fire, her resourcefulness, and the way she works things to be in her control. Liam is arrogant, cares for no one but is intrigued by Imogen, and always gets what he wants. Their chemistry was like dynamite that was lit, full of suspense, waiting to be explosive, but this story isn’t over yet. I’m dying to know what will happen next with these characters and the little snippets we’ve now seen of what’s going on in this world. I am so excited! If this is how the rest of the stories in the collection are, then I am intrigued and excited about reading more!

Awesome - From the time I finished book two in this hot steamy series and how it ended I wanted to start book three right away! In this book I love how Desiree doesn’t stay knocked down but once again shows her strength and will to fight for the future she wants! I also like how a lot of the working staff helps each other out so nobody gets in trouble. There is still a lot of fun steamy that never disappoints with this amazing author books! And this book can be read in a few hours so if you want something quick, enjoyable, and will definitely take your mind off your to do list for a bit this a great book for that! Neat less to say I’m so happy with outcome in book three I believe each book leaves you wanting more at least for me they do. Part of that is the mystery behind some of the characters like Richard and Cassandra I want to know why he wants to help Desiree so bad. It’s nerve wracking lol but that’s part of the fun of a good book having different puzzles that hopefully you’re know the answers eventually. As far as Cassandra I really want to know what her history and why she is the way she is. I’m sure we’ll get the answers at some point. I personally still can’t get over Lee the cowboy I’ll let him do all my firsts if I was her anyway can’t wait to read more on this crazy series with amazing fun characters!. Good for what it is - Story is easy to get into, strong female lead rather than the brooding damsel in distress most YA novels have. However, sjm writes like she doesn’t have a thesaurus. Repeats the same descriptors for everything, “ripped to ribbons” “mirth” “bowels turned watery” “metallic tang”. Some of the plot also seemed lazily written, but honestly, if you want an easy read and have a thing for faeries, give it a try. Hopefully the rest of the series has more depth.

Ruined the characters - The first books build up Rhysand and show him as a man that values choice over everything and will even sacrifice himself for his friends/family. This book took all the good about Rhysand and destroyed it. Nestsa’s POV was so hard to read. She was so awful! I think Cassian deserved better. Her family should have left her in her sad apartment and just cut her off financially. Let her live the life she wants/her choice, but make her find a way to pay for it herself. This book ruined the series for me.

This is the Princess Bride if the Princess became a pirate - This book was delightful. If you are familiar with the Cosmere or Brandon Sanderson’s other works you may have met a living easter egg named Hoid. The wisecracking character is the voice of the book and tells a heartwarming tale of a girl who sets off on an adventure to find her captive lover. I did not expect this to be a book about a girl turning into a pirate. It was fun. It was attention grabbing. The magic of spores was new and exciting. It made me want to read more about this universe. If you are familiar with the Cosmere you’ll enjoy this read. If you’re new to the Cosmere this is an okay start but you may get taken aback by the end of the book. The last half is filled with references to earlier Cosmere works and can be a bit much.

Anthony has an arch nemesis Cicero, but the code of the DVM is “get him next time”, “detain, never eliminate”, “killing only makes us like them.” Cicero apparently has some wacky ideas on how to take over the world and he has Archibald O’Leary bank rolling him. Bea is the head of DVM and when it comes to Cicero and now Archibald O’Leary she decides to send Anthony and Elliot on the assignment to Bulgaria. Well, that’s not going to work. Anthony and Elliot are already butting heads and surely don’t see eye to eye. This is just not Elliot’s type of gig! As Anthony and Elliot, face all kinds of ridiculous danger: jumping from planes; rescuing several women; riding ATV’s in the desert; a kraken; sheep clones, and being chased by Cicero and his henchmen, something between them starts to develop. For Anthony the assignment becomes more difficult as he has to carry out an order that he knows is wrong. Penelope Peters brings a fun, fast, explosive, action packed, adventurous tale with “Secret Agent Analyst.” Elliot is smart as far as being an analyst, but he just doesn’t realize he can handle so much more. He also becomes someone Anthony can lean on. The story does have a little serious side when Anthony thinks about his former partner and now his concerns for Elliot. He has some difficult situations to accept. Two other characters that make this tale fun are Daria Halloumi and scientist Zayna. Daria especially brings lot’s of excitement to the story. I highly recommend “Secret Agent Analyst” for those that like comedy with super heroes and just a little seriousness. This is my first read by Penelope Peters and I think she created some great character for this fun read.

A Page Turner! - Sarah Penner is back, but this time it’s a book about Seances and summoning the dead in order to find out who did it? It’s a fast paced book that will keep you entertained as the President of the London Seance Society is murdered and the experts are called in to discover the truth. Can they figure it out or will it stir up more questions? This story alternates between Lenna in Paris and Mr. Morley in London . Lenna is taught by Vaudelline D’Allaire, famously known for being able to hold seances for the purpose of summoning the spirits of those who had been murdered to find out who killed them. Lenna wants to be able to learn how to do this, in order to find out not only find out who murdered her sister, but could make money helping others do the same. Can Lenna learn from Vaudeline and will it turn out the way she expected? Mr. Morley is Vice President in the Department of Spiritualism at the Seance Society in London. The President of the society was killed at a seance, so it was up to Mr Morley to get things straightened out. Mr Morley asks Vaudelline to come back to London to perform the seance? Can she discover who in fact killed him? Was it a colleague like rumored? What will be discovered as Lena and Vauldelime investigate? I loved the character development in this book as it makes you think about them in one light and by the end, an entirely different opinion is formed! This makes for page turner as you want to know more as Lenna and Mr Morley reveal the secrets! Such a well written, and highly entertaining book! Perfect for those who held seances at sleepovers in the ’s and ’s.

A whole lot of nonsense - Like many, I read this book after watching the Netflix series. I was intrigued by Stephen King’s praise for the author and the first few chapters were good. Soon though the story just devolved into nonsense. Craig, the main character keeps making dumb decisions, while tolerating more and more absurd demands from the consultant, far beyond whatever rational person would tolerate. The consultant is this all-powerful and strange creature that knows everything and can do anything anytime and anywhere. How can you enjoy a story where the protagonist makes stupid decisions, and the antagonist can do literally anything and is bound by no rules whatsoever? All of this, and the ending explains absolutely nothing and nothing is really resolved. Fortunately, by the end I was so tired of the characters that I didn’t care about any of it and was just happy to be able to put the book away.

Weak ending - I got this to read because I saw the show on Amazon Prime and I thought the book might be fun and interesting like the show. This book is horror and very disturbing at times. That’s fine, except there’s no real conclusion the end. It just kind of it ends without any real resolution or climax. After experiencing all of this fear and terror, you expect a big payoff at the end, where the heroes of the story defeat the bad guy. That doesn’t happen… It just kind of ends.

Guy says READ THIS BOOK - Best Read in years! Since my wife was worried I might find it “too girly” - it seems important to also note that I am a guy. I hope this review may help more women get the men in their life to give this one a go! It has been ages since a novel so instantly grabbed my attention and and so continuously kept me engaged. A great story of love, loss, perseverance, family, and the power of being true to yourself and to others wrapped in a layer of humor that makes it such an easy read. The writing is intelligent, witty, thoughtful, and emotionally engaging from the first page to the last. You immediately fall in love with the protagonists and despise the villains in just the right measure. Never too sappy or too mean spirited. My only critique is that it went too fast leaving me sated by the story but sad that it had to end.

Every woman should read this book! - I simply could not stop reading this book. I even read the part at the back where she thanks people. Because I just didn’t want to put it down. Her sense of humor and irony, and some of the silliness and all of the clarity. It is just so well written, and I’ve never met a book like it. Self Lessons - I’m not a person who blindly follows the pack when choosing what to read. But I’m glad I picked up Lessons after so many reviews and an insanely long hold line at the library. Garmus drew me into the story with quirky characters living in familiar, yet unfamiliar ways. Their struggles seemed all too familiar today; women not being taken seriously for being intelligent and fiercely loving. The unfamiliar was made less so by the gently pithy descriptions of rowing and chemistry. Like the women in Elizabeth Zott’s audience, I began to feel those strange things were within my grasp. Then Garmus somehow manages to tie all those desperate pieces and people together in a most satisfying way. Thank you! I’ve recommended Lessons in Chemistry to all my friends.

Made my top book list of all time - As I explained to a friend, this is a story about a woman standing up for herself, and those she loves, trying to do right in the world and right the world in the process. It made me laugh out loud. Its truth made me cry. Perhaps it will resonate with those who know beyond a shadow of a doubt that one should never underestimate a woman.

Sad but worthwhile - This story is difficult to get through because it delves into a life of poverty and all the challenges that come with poverty, drugs, hardship, family failure. But in Kingsolver fashion, it’s also a love story to the people and mountains of Appalachia. I am always left with beautiful natural scenes at the end of her books and this is no exception. You cannot help but love and root for Demon and pray for escape and happiness.

Enlightened - This book was informative where bees were concerned. A bonus! Was enlightening to learn how children, as well as adults, grapple with family and friends’ reactions to their lifestyle. It was heartbreaking and loving. I will not reveal the surprising twist in the book as other reviewers have. I just recommend this book highly. As a grandparent, I learned how to react, speak with (should the need arise) to my grandkids if/when they are confronted with this type of situation with themselves or their friends. Their final, layered story will not only challenge whatever you think you know about other people’s choices and why they make them. What Goes Unsaid - Gabrielle Zevin left no stone unturned, bandage in-place, or social trope in her inventory while delivering an electric novel. Books like this are as complete a dialogue about life and all of its pain, joy, and the mess in-between. Like a reflection in an indigo lake, her characters fascination with being gamers, mirrors why some of us are readers. Though we see events from many stages of life, it’s Zevin’s exploration of the uncertainty and anxiety of youth that serves as a driving theme in the story. Specifically, the almost violent point where the idealized perceptions of youth meet the compromising reality and judgements of the world. On a deeper level we see how the singular passion of youth occasionally manifests as creative genius. For many there is a treasure chest of topics to enjoy in the video gaming world she builds for us. Including the highs, lows, and intricacies of the gamer’s experience. I am particularly enthralled by Zevin’s leveraging video games as a larger representation of every fascinating and depressing thing about the real world. We are challenged to weigh the pros and cons between the two “realities” and how we face life in each. Zevin’s voice and characterizations are refreshing and hard to shake. Her style crafts the kind of story that puts the joy in reading. It’s the book you wish could write and our glad to have read. Her masterful use of the omnipotent perspective gives us characters with real depth and dynamic qualities. The themes blend perfectly together pulling us from one revelation to another. As Zevin clearly states this book is a love song in many respects. A love song to artists and makers as well as the creative process. For me it was a reminder that life is for living, here and now. That if we are present and fully engaged we will see the magnificence of being and, when the end comes, exude the gratefulness that it happened at all.

What If? - The story was well-conceived, and shared with the reader many of the dimensions of the gaming, and the creative, experience. It did so honestly, and paralleled Fikry’s style of rich and complicated people intersecting and drifting apart. It was easy to locate oneself in the text. Those intersections where richly-imagined characters met were the primary focus of the writing, and threw sparks while they invited the sharing of paths. The novel blurred the boundaries between the lived and the imagined, and preferred neither. This was a tale worth telling.

Meh - This felt like a saga to me - like, there’s no big rising action to a big payout in the end. It’s more little stories cobbled together over years and stays pretty flat. Maybe you’re into that sort of thing. It’s just not something I enjoy. Then, add to that, characters that aren’t really likeable and an oddly-rushed ending, and I was just glad it was over. I grew up in this time period and expected to love it because it was about video games, but I guess I was expecting something more like Ready Player One. Oh well.

Relentlessly grim tale of obsession - Makkai writes well, with a strong sense of place, but by midway through, the unreliable narrator’s dogged pursuit of vengeance against a teacher who she believed had murdered a classmate becomes more unhinged than compelling. The novel would be improved by cutting at least pages.

An engaging read - A bit of a slow start but then I was fully engaged. It has a thriller genre quality to it but operates outside that genre’s trappings. It’s very different in tone and style from The Great Believers but not quite of the same quality. Very glad I read an electronic version — made it much easier to keep track of all of the classmates.

Bittersweet Story - I’m grateful for this book. My father was an abusive alcoholic from the time I was eight years old until I was fifteen. My mother never divorced him and never had the slightest interest in other men. The only man in her life was my dad and she loved him through the horrible years. Thankfully my dad gave up alcohol cold turkey, about six months before my mother decided to let him move back in with us. Then my dad was truly never took a sip of alcohol again. My parents remained married for over years total, until my mother passed away twelve days after being diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. My dad was heartbroken. He came to live with my husband and me until he died in his sleep three years later. I know their relationship had a lasting impression on me. I never forgot the bad times. Yet in the end, he was a good father to me. This book spoke to me in a personal way. My life with them was bittersweet and it had a major impact on my life, as an only child. Life is full of mixed blessings. It’s how we handle all of them that ultimately matters. I’m much stronger than I once was. My life is finally as close to perfect as it can be. I loved this. - When I say I don’t read books, I mean it. I’ve spent the last years of my life hating reading and hating books. This is the second book in two days of Colleen’s that I have finished. I’ve always felt so dumb and felt l wasn’t smart enough to read. That I was stupid because I couldn’t comprehend anything that I read. But this time it’s different. I feel relief. This book made me feel something I’ve never felt before and I started to cry in the middle of it. I was in the story and that has never happened to before. Had to buy a physical copy of this one! - Absolutely loved this book. I didn’t really know what I was getting into with this one. Figured it would be another run of the mill romance novel. This was my first Colleen Hoover book. I decided to start book buddy reading with my cousin for fun. We’re on our th Colleen Hoover book in a month! Colleen Hoover has something special. She can capture you and keep you under a spell that you never want to end. Shes realistic and deep. This is the one that made me fall in love with her writing. I laughed and cried. My heart was ripped out of my chest a time or two. It was a rollercoaster ride. I can’t believe there are negative reviews but to each their own and all that. For me, this was a wonderful read. One that will stay with me forever. One that I’ll probably read over and over. As soon as I finished it I ran not walked to buy a physical copy to live on my shelf forever and ever.

Lovely. - In the best ways possible this book took me through it. I felt all of the feelings and emotions reading this great book and to be honest I’ve only read books with about - pages so was a jump for me but not really cause I couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted to read more, I wanted a bigger glimpse of what was to come for atlas and Lilly. Great book, I bought it quite a while ago like back in September of and just finished reading it today feb, , . I read it on and off because some parts I just needed a break and didn’t want to see what happened next but I did it. I just bought it starts with us and couple days ago since I was nearing the end and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!! I’ve related to Lily in more ways then one, I’ve shared similar experiences between both lily and Atlas and shared these experiences with other also. Very relatable, brought up some old memories I got to think of. / would recommend!

Plus, she and Erika Wilde writing together just upstage hotness factor by %. Brother’s best friend is one of my very favorite tropes, so I’m always all in for those stories. But the added fun of a bachelor auction plus a curvy heroine with body positivity from both herself and the hero, and we’ve got fun and frankness in between the pages of this book. Derek and Jessica had fiery chemistry but also a friendship and ease in the way they interacted. Well, besides Jessica’s still raging crush on brother Ben’s friend. So their slightly “taboo” secret hookup is emotional as well as sexy. Couldn’t put this one down!

Entertaining! - Another entertaining read by Ms Phillips and Ms Wilde. This was a great addition to the Dare family via Nikki’s brother, Derek. I liked that Jessica wasn’t your typical wimpy female. She had confidence in herself, even though it was a long time coming. I did like that Jessica’s brother and Derek’s business partner didn’t have the typical “stay away from sister” approach. Carly & Erika-Yes please! - This is a wonderful story that is a brisk and easy read because it pulls you in right away. The characters have reasonable history and have their own parallel lives until they cross gently but believably. Their history becomes their present and the story is sealed. Being a PCOS warrior, as well as a curvy girl, I like seeing girls like me get the guy instead of just being the best friend who settles for the town nerd. I love reading books that have relevant characters from previous book series or even just previous standalone. I feel more connected to the characters and more invested in the success of their lives and their loves. The sex scenes are sensual without being raunchy and they don't happen every other page or so-just enough to keep you coming back for more-kind of like real life! Delightful - This was a delightful novella which really stretched body positivity and that women of all sizes can be beautiful. It is the brothers best friend/forced proximity/billionaire tropes. I really enjoyed reading this short book, a collaboration between Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. I find they always write well together and this is another example. Both main characters have chapters written from their POV and I found both characters to be multidimensional personalities. The chemistry was hot and the book was an easy read. I would read it again. Emotional second chance story - This one had me reaching for the tissues! Cole and Eden’s long journey back to each other was filled with emotions, from sadness to anger, hope to despair. The pain of the past is mostly just discussed, with a few flash back conversations. Sweet Sinner became satisfying! - Nothing was simple between Tyler and Bella, and that’s what kept me reading. Bella frustrated me in this book, and I can’t say why without spoiling. I loved Dash’s brotherly love for Bella; he was the voice of reason for Bella along with her father. I did feel like Tyler and Bella’s conversations went in circles until a certain point, then I smiled when I reached that satisfying turning point. I appreciated Tyler’s journey through these books. FYI, the author announced at the beginning of this book that this is now a trilogy, instead of a duet, so this book has a cliffhanger. I eagerly await the conclusion to Tyler and Bella’s story! I Fell in Love with Reading Again - While I enjoyed this book, I understand many found it a slow read. But I’m begging you, do NOT give up on this series. Push on until the third book, you will not regret it. This is the greatest series I have ever read. Keep in mind while you’re reading this that Maas first wrote this an an amateur. I believe she wrote the first version of this when she was a teen and later rewrote it. You will see her style grow and develop in time. My favorite parts of this novel involved the creepy library scenes. I’m a sucker for a good spooky tale and I was thoroughly creeped out. When it comes to writing a compelling plot, strong female characters, and trauma, Maas is simply unmatched. She made me fall in love with reading again.

Penellaphe just isn’t growing. - The first book, from blood and ash was great. But by the second book the characters are just toxic and boring. The immature tempestuous nature of their relationship which has not evolved much, because the characters haven’t, is boring and tired. They actually say the same thing to each other over and over again. I wouldn’t recommend continuing this series. I will begrudgingly finish perhaps, but the woman who wrote this probably needs to go to therapy, it would help evolve her characters.

Best Ending of Any Novel I have EVER Read - Though the Throne of Glass series started off slow, it developed into the greatest series I have ever read. Kingdom of Ash is a work of art. From front to back you will be sucked into the story. I could not put this down once I picked it up. I stayed up all night reading it. Rarely can a book spark strong feeling of emotions in me, but there were many times I found myself sobbing so hard I could barely keep reading. Heartbreak and bitter triumph run thick in this novel. Your world will be rocked. There could not have been a better ending to this series. This is the gold standard to finishing a novel. If there is ONE book I could chose to read again for the first time, without hesitation I would chose this one.

Loved this sweet paranormal romance - Cauldrons Call is KP nd book in The Curse of the Blood Moon Series. I don’t read too many PNR but Kristen had this way of just sucking you in. The story is one of love, faith, hope and never giving up or letting fear take over you. Brenna and Giles’ story of one fated mated, friends to lovers, and unrequited love. Brenna had loved Giles since she was , and he had secretly pined over her too. In this book we follow the roller coaster of them trying to ward off and kill the evil spirit that is trying to take over their lives. Together with Lucy, Jonás, Lorelei, and Xander they are trying to brake the spell on Hollows End before time runs out. Loved getting the updates from Lucy and Jonás. And, I can’t wait to read the next Adventure in Salem’s Song where we will get the truth behind Xander and Lorelei’s love story and see if they can all finally defeat the evil spirits. I was lucky enough to read this book but also listen to the audiobook. Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor were amazing in this story. Their character transitions, pace, and diction were on point. They kept me engaged. Definitely recommend the book and audiobook.

Amazing!! - I been dying for the second book in The Curse of the Blood Moon series and this story was everything I was hoping for and so much more! First, I recommend you read book one in the series because you'll understand the story better and also because book two picks up right after the ending of book one. Breena along with her witch sisters Lucy and Lorelei are still trying to find a solution for the cursed on Hallow's End. After what happened on book one they think they have some time for this, unfortunately things are happening and Breena once again is targeted by the evil entity. When a solution for her to be more protected comes in the form of her moving with her long time crush and unrequited love Giles, she tries to avoided it but at the end there is not fight because Giles won't back down until she is safe and in his arms. Giles is also a powerful witch trying to help Breena and her witch sisters to find a solution for all the madness happening in their home town of Salem. When Giles has Breena under his roof they become closer and those unrequited feelings Breena has had towards him aren't so unrequited after all because Giles has been admiring and having feelings towards Breena for a very long time. This story was just perfect! The mystery, suspense and thrilling circumstances made me not want to stop reading and the love that goes from friend to lovers between Brenna and Giles was just beautiful. Also the community and support from all the Coven working together was also amazing. I can't wait to read book three and find out what will happen next.

Glorious Goosebumps - GAH!!!! I can't believe a book startled me, scared me. The evil stalking Lucy, Breena, Lorelei, and their partners would have had me running for the hills. Shaking in my boots. Lucky for me, I just had to read page after glorious page to see what happened next. No witch powers were required. Witches are now accepted in modern day Salem, Massachusetts. In fact it is a booming business for many in the Salem coven. But things are changing. The unexplained is occurring. Lives have been lost. It doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. In book one we got a glimpse of what was happening. In book two it is so much worse. Grab some popcorn so you don't bite your nails. Keep the lights on. Make sure to lock the doors. I am ready to grab the salt and cleanse my home. All of this is because the author wrote such a believable paranormal story. Thankfully it wasn't all "deer in the headlights" moments. Love is blooming for Breena and Giles. Long time crushes will be rewarded. Evil cannot destroy everything, at least for now. I honestly don't know what to expect in the conclusion for Curse of the Blood Moon. I do know I am buying a security blanket to use while reading it.

Great Beginning for the Series - What better place to find the love of your life than the Marrywell May Day Matchmaking Festival? Sadie and Law are perfect for each other. Their story is filled with a little drama, a lot of humor, a bit of sizzle, and a wonderful festival. Loving this series- engaging mystery! - Kristen Ashley proves how versatile her writing can be with this captivating romantic thriller. Rus, Special Agent Zachariah Lazarus, has been the lead investigator filling the serially killer they call the Crystal Killer. He lands in Mystic Pines when they think they have his next victim. While investigating, he crosses paths with Lucinda Bonner, employer of the victim and catches Rus’s attention and proves herself useful in helping with aspects of the investigation. I loved all the layers and depths you get with this installment in the Mystic Pines series. We get to see some of the more layers form the previous installment as well as meet some new ones. What sets this apart for me was that it’s told entirely in third person from Rus’s point of view. In addition, you get a lot of details as you follow along with his investigation and really get to know these characters in depth. The romance aspect was very slow burn, but still enjoyable, but the emphasis in this one is definitely on the mystery and investigation. I can’t wait for more of these and have a whole cast of characters I’m hoping we get books for- Jase, Jesse, Yeager, and Moran.

Loved it. - Personally I really found this book interesting and unique. It wasn’t just a basic storyline that everyone used. And it included my favorite genres. I was lost in the book, I just wanted to read it more and more and personally, I don’t think I’m that much of a book person. Id definitely recommend this book more so to teens or young adults for sure. Also I just wanted to add, the character, Silas, how he expressed his love for Charlie, it was just so beautiful, I genuinely cried at times.

Not her best - Ive read all of Colleen’s books now and i have to say this is her worst one. If this is your first read by her please go check out too late, heart bones, etc anything else. I get that is was her and another author but wow it was very poorly written. I hate leaving a bad review but she is a great author and shouldn’t be known for this book.

Saber and Caro EPIC conclusion! - Brenda does it once again! What an amazing series this was and ending it with Saber and Caro was epic! I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book. All grown up! - It’s wild to think that this all started with Sera and Liam! I fell in love with Saber in the last book and he continues to hold onto my heart. Reading through Vampire Awakenings and The Alliance has been such a gift. I adore the world that is set up and the intricate details of each character. No two characters are alike! Everything has been building to this final battle. It brought me to tears and making me hold my breath, and I just adore it. It’s so worth it to finish out this series! Anything done by this author continues to be a gem! Getting to “check in” with so many of the other characters made my heart so full!

The finale is here - This is the final book in the alliance series and it does not disappoint The battle is finally here with the demons savages hunters vampires it’s gonna take a lot to defeat the hideous demons that are wrecking the world when Brie and Sabor share the same vision showing what’s gonna happen to the world if the demons succeed in destroying everything and continuing wrecking havoc on humans and vampires so they know it’s time to face them but when a mission goes wrong and people are captured from the alliance they know ready or not they have to face the demons or risk loosing of their fighters but it’s not gonna be easy defeating the savages and demons so when they go down in the sewer drains to rescue Sabor and his mate the demons try to run but once they get them where they want them the alliance members realize what they have to do and don’t know if they’ll make it out alive. This book had me reading late into the night to see what happens I could not put it down even knowing I had to get up early for work. Will all the alliance members and their mates survive the battle or will some be lost read this book to fine out. This is a series so make sure to read book Eternally bound if you haven’t yet you will not be disappointed. Brenda K Davies is an amazing author and really knows how to tell a story!

The emotions that you feel are so real. Super intense. - The roller coaster of trials that Caro & Saber go through are rough. I can feel the emotions while reading this book. Super intense. Brenda never disappoints. I love how while reading this book I can in vision myself there part of the action and the love and the heartache. What a way to end this series! - Wow! What a way to end a series. While I am truly sad this is the last book in the Awakening and Alliance world, this story was a great way to end. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the fight Caro had in her and how she stood up to Saber when she felt like she needed to. I wanted to strangle Saber at times but he definitely redeemed himself once he realized he truly cared for Caro. It was also great getting another glimpse into the other characters from both series. A Great Tale - Imagine the roles were reversed and humans are the invading force over sentient beings that evolved BECAUSE of humans. How imagine the fear, the base level programming of humans, the attempt to save humanity and not knowing a thing about the other side. Imagine how evened a species must be to not only understand their creators, but use the very thing they created against them…to ultimately save them. This is a world-class story and clearly an award winner for a reason. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves sci fi, but has a keen interest in understanding what humans are all about.

Phenomenal - Sam Maggs, I am about to buy every book you have ever written—this book was BEYOND amazing. As a JFO fan, I can see how much work went into this. The way each character is organically focused on and gets their own time in the spotlight is amazing. I don’t remember what line it was, but towards the end, an exchange between Greez and Cere made me burst out sobbing. Everyone in this story has a stake and I loved getting to spend time with each and every one of them. Also this book is mad funny. “Cere-ious” and “Blorp (that’s what Greez said his name was)” had me laughing in the first ten minutes. Also the gratuitous amount of times Greez’s salt obsession was mentioned got a chuckle out of me. No spoilers in this review but getting inside of Cal’s psyche was a delight. Him and Merrin’s parallelism (and juxtaposition) might’ve been my favorite part. I don’t know though. There’s a lot to love about this book. But yeah. The storytelling is top notch. I do not say this lightly, but after cramming this entire novel from pm-am, it might be my favorite Star Wars novel now. It’s definitely top three. If you’re a JFO fan and you’re anxiously waiting for Survivor, read this immediately!

The World Unknown - Ed Yong delivers another Science and Nature entry off the heels of his previous masterpiece. Yong is perhaps the best contemporary scientific writer. He is unrivaled in his ability to distill down the most complex topics for the everyone without devaluing the actual scientific process. His narrative style layered on gives this one the read of an existentialist treatise paired with biology. In this one the get introduced to my new favorite word Umwelten. A concept that we don’t just get introduced to but earn a micro-masters degree in by completing this tome. Umwelten, in a sense is the multiverse of sensory experiences across the spectrum of living creatures. Those sensory divergences underscore the gulf between species but how each experience the physical world. Another interesting takeaway is how traces a thread between feedback loops between the senses and evolutionary outcomes. In one hand, we learn about how sensory traits impact selection and ultimately outward evolutionary patterns. On the other hand, he shows us how the pandemic shutdowns demonstrated how modern life impacts the sensory experiences of animals and humans alike. All of the detail Yong shares emphasizes just how immense our world is and make for a massive read. One that I hope gets paired with a Discovery Channel style documentary that pulls in the video footage and visuals to illustrate in real time some of the beautifully descriptive paragraphs we get of sensory experiences. Such a pairing may help remove the anthropomorphism we place on our surrounding world and creatures when the Umwelten outside of our own resemble nothing of the sort.

Book images are a disappointing - The price is the same as the paper back physical copy of the actual book… the info is all the same..BUT!!!…….. the pictures and diagrams (which have a lot of vital info) get cut off or the info goes black and u can’t read some of the very critical information.. I wish the images would just blow up with out changing tint or losing the text… other than that it’s great to use in place of the actual book… having it in a smaller package or in low light on the I pad is fantastic

The images are such low quality they’re unreadable - Absolute waste of money. I purchased this book so that I didn’t have to carry around that heavy paper copy one. I am so disappointed with this digital purchase, because the images are such low quality. It is almost impossible to use them. Additionally, the numbering of the pages in this book do not correspond with the wacky page numbering system that they use inside of the paper copy. The Contant is excellent, although it’s somewhat outdated.

Thought provoking and awe inspiring - One of my top favorite novels of all time, and I say that as a reluctant fiction reader. After years of revisiting the masterpiece of a film Kubrick gifted us just so I could induce that unfailing sense of awe and bodily transcendence I felt when first witnessing the spectacular sequences, I decided it was time to read the book. Boy was I happy I did it. I consumed it in two sittings. The writing is crisp and concise; hasn’t aged at all for me. And Clarke’s descriptions are simply superb. I felt like I was floating in space with Dave, Frank, Hal and the rest of the crew. When I closed the book, I had to take a long pause just to shake the feeling of awesomeness that infiltrated my mind and permeated my body. Left me with a sense of wonder about my place in the universe I hadn’t experienced since childhood. Highly recommend it for anyone who is curious about their place in existence and the role human consciousness can play in this infinite question that is our universe.

M/M to perfection!! - Sarina Bowen is one of the few authors I read who in my opinion does M/M right. She makes you fall in love completely with both Ms while also enjoying every aspect of their story. Hudson & Gavin are two such characters. They both reeled me in from the get-go. Hudson with his charm and inability to come out because of his career and Gavin being a widower who is now a single dad to his daughter Jordyn trying to navigate his new reality. I love them and their story so much. The heat they generate is molten lava hot and they are both so sexy in their own ways. I love how they navigate their relationship while also making sure to be true to themselves. Fantastic writing, great characters and an awesome storyline make this a must read. I loved it!!

Loved Hudson and Gavin - Once again Sarina Bowen knocks it out of the park or maybe arena with this new MM hockey book. Since I don’t usually read blurbs I was really interested to see how this story all got started and I was giddy with excitement about the almost one night stand. The chemistry between Hudson and Gavin is off charts from the moment they meet. Even with the Chemistry Gavin treats Hudson exactly like the other guys on the team and doesn’t make it awkward. And Hudson struggles with trying to accept Gavin knows his secret which makes things interesting at work. But despite all that I loved watching them go from kind of wary neighbors to completely committed to each other. Then add in Gavin being a single dad and them both interacting with Jordyn will just make you swoon.

A Great Book Club Pick! - This book will rip your heart out before slowly putting it back together and developing into a heartwarming story. A well told story that highlights many issues including childhood neglect/ abandonment, trauma, and depression and the dangers of not getting help for them. This book highlights the ups and downs of William’s life and how his childhood experiences shaped his adulthood. William felt he was never recognized as a child until boys on the basketball court invited him to play. His parents didn’t pay much attention to him, due to his parents grieving about his sister’s death. Therefore, William knew he had to create the life he wanted on his own. Thanks to advice he was given early on about basketball, he was able to be successful in high school, where he was awarded a scholarship to play for Northwestern University. William found support in his college girlfriend Julia, who supported him along with her family throughout college. William and Julia ended up getting married. William’s life is consumed with basketball, teaching, grad-school, his wife and a new baby, but will this be enough? Is this the life that makes him happy? This book will have you turning the pages to find out. I loved how even though the book was focused on William, the author chose to have each chapter from a different perspective, including William. Each chapter that was not from the perspective of William was from a person who was important to William, such as his wife, daughter, sister-in-law, on their perspectives and how he affected their lives. This author does a good job of capturing the struggles and grief of the characters! This book is not for the light-hearted as it dives into heavy-hitting topics. Even though this book will leave you feeling satisfied in the end, it’s one of those stories that leaves a lasting impression! Perfect for those who are fans of Elizabeth Strout and Elizabeth Berg as this book reminds me a lot of books written by them. A great book club pick as well as this will lead to many interesting discussions.

Let’s Get Started on The Rest of Our Lives - I always love reading a Susan Mallery book and this is another great story but on the more serious side. I liked the characters Finley, Aubrey, Sloane, Molly, and Lester and then we have Jericho, Antonio, Gil, Lauren and Kelly, plus so many others. I really felt for Finley being put in a situation where she’s raising her sister’s daughter and is an amazing and supportive mom figure to Aubrey especially with the aftermath of what she’s still dealing with from Sloane in putting her in her current situation. Finley is finally getting her head above water and then it seems like here we go again.. She has a lot of feelings towards her family and when we find out what has gone on in the past with Sloane, her mother Molly and now her mom wants her grandfather Lester to move in, and Finley is just supposed to smile and agree knowing how they all treated her in the past. Then we have Jericho who Finley works with on his houses and he has a lot going on in his life himself between his ex-wife and his brother and his mother who just wants everyone to get a long and he isn’t on board with that at all. I loved that Finley and Jericho started a friendship and could honestly talk to each other with what was going on in their respective lives and get some advice from the other and maybe see the situation through a different perspective. Each finds out a lot more about their situations and Finley finds out that lies were told yet both Finley and Jericho are both told by family to just forgive the person and the situation, but there is a lot to forgive for both of these characters. When Sloane’s friend Ellis has an accident that is the last straw for her and her hard fought sobriety is on the line and this is when everything changes for Sloane, Finley and Jericho. Sloane definitely needed a wake up call and I wish it hadn’t happened the way it did but it put everyone in a much better place and it gave Finley the nudge that she needed to get on with her life. I appreciated the epilogue, and we were given a glimpse of where these characters are after the story ended and it was a great update. This story, in my opinion, deserves more than five stars.

Another great read - Susan Mallery’s book The Sister Effect is for me another winner from one of my favorite authors. Although there were a few tough spots to read and could be triggering for someone who has had to deal with alcoholism. There is a HEA which I believe she did a wonderful job on how she wrapped up the story. I was left feeling very satisfied with the way it ended and I don’t always get that “ Oh yeah, that’s perfect” feeling when finishing a book. I seriously read this one in one day, it was hard to put down. This one is worth the read

SnakeWings - religion - Religion/beliefs: All SnakeWings believe in two powerful beings, one is Hasehpt, goddess of death, wickedness, and tyranny. Hasehpt is portrayed as a giant snake with black and red scales similar to a volcano with large ram horns and eyes of the deepest red with black pupils. Hasehpt is female. The other one is called Nurut (pronounced new root, emphasis on the second u in Nurut) Nurut is the goddess of life, morality, and protection. Nurut is also a giant snake with white majestic glowing scales with a blue outline. She is adorned with gold and blue jewelry and has small angel wings on her back. Her eyes are glowing blue with white pupils. It is believed that every years, Hasehpt and Nurut have a battle and Nurut always perseveres, banishing Hasehpt for another years. Until one day, Hasehpt defeated Nurut and drained her power. Nurut then went into hiding after her devastating defeat. In order to appease Hasehpt, every year on Hasehpt’s birthday they perform a ritual. The dragonet that hatches on the birthday is dismembered alive and each of the dragonet’s limbs are placed on stone pillars, and the heart is placed on the highest pillar. Then they draw a symbol around the pillars with the dragonet’s blood. They then summon Hasehpt to collect the soul of this dragonet. If they do not do the ritual Hasehpt will terrorize the SnakeWings and introduce a reign of death and destruction. Years ago, a desperate mother of the dragonet that was supposed to be sacrificed fled from the kingdom in order to protect her child. However, guards found her and executed her, and sacrificed her child. The SnakeWings pray and hope that one day Nurut will regain her strength to defeat Hasehpt once more. They worship and send prayers to Nurut and temples, they believe doing this will help Nurut regain strength. Recently, Nurut sent the SnakeWings a prophecy: The dragonet hatched of evil Will bring the kingdom to light Although you may not see it The dragonet will win the fight To restore the kingdom’s greatness You have to find the heart To deny the tyranny of evil And save the kingdom once and for all Think you can decipher it? They need to take a respect class or something like that. If it exists. For instance, this GUARD, who was supposedly supposed to be GUARDING Widow, was snoring like a hundred year old SpiderWing. Widow flicked her tail in impatientness, and maybe a little boredness. She whipped her head toward the guard, trying to make it so that he could CATCH ON TO A HINT. He didn’t. A few excruciating minutes later, Widow heard a loud flapping noise. 𝐼𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑜𝑛? She wondered. The dragon flapped loudly through the entrance toward Widow. She instantly became stiff and uncomfortable. This dragon was NOT a Black Widow SpiderWing. And FINALLY, her guard decided to wake up and stand at attention. He looked up at Widow, and she glared at him. The possibly dangerous dragon reached the throne, and thank goodness. He was a Garden SpiderWing. This clan was the most harmless of them all. The dragon kept looking at the ground and her partner answered. “Strange dragons came and attacked, they’re gone though. Were not sure where they went.“ He said. The couple walked past Widow. Widow stared at the forest. She knew that as soon as she walked in, she would be bombarded with questions and requests. But she knew she had to. Because that was her role as Queen. An actual review - spoiler alert Okay, some people in the reviews just hate Winter, but I can’t blame him. In book six Tui made it very clear that Winter hated himself more than anyone else. He thinks that his rank is everything because HE WAS RAISED THAT WAY. He thinks he isn’t a competent IceWing Prince and really only acts haughty around everyone because, as I said, he was raised that way. He loves his brother and he saved Hailstorm. In the end, he even gave up his rank for Hailstorm. Now, onto reviewing the book itself. It was okay, but it was dragged on a little and didn’t have much action. The only really good part was toward the end, when Winter learned the complicated history of Foeslayer and and had her lead him to the old Kingdom of Night (leaving us with another cliffhanger, but what did you expect?)

BEST SERIES EVER - I literally love this book trilogy so much. The first two books are tied for my favorite in the series. The last one is much darker than the first two, but still a good book. The love triangle is so freakin awesome. I love it. After I finished the series, I made sure to watch all of the movies and I’m definitely going to reread the trilogy. Also, if you’re team Gale…I HATE YOU. Gale is literally so annoying and pushes things if ya know what I mean. Anyways, I would recommend this book to people over the age of because it talks about different types of abuse, though it doesn’t talk about it much in detail. Especially the last one, which talks about sx slaves and other things like that. So definitely on that. The last book is slow paced and the longest in the series, but, like I said, it’s a good book overall. Many strict parents say “oh it’s kids killing kids” but it’s only the first book. Plus, that’s what makes it exciting. There’s rarely bad words and no cuss words, except in the movies. It’s a great trilogy and after I finished reading it, I wanted to cry because of how beautiful and tragic the ending is. It’s not scary except for one part in the third book. I listened to the first book on an audiobook and loved it, so I would read either way if wished. So, overall, READ THE DANG SERIES. That’s all I need to say. Speechless - Amazing! I’ve never seen these many reviews before that I can’t even write myself, except relate to. This series was good. Both the movies and books got me on edge. The type of fandom that will have you chewing your nails on how the next part will turn out. Its so ethereal and beautiful how Isabella and Edward’s lives turn out. The emotions, the characters—you’ll be drawn in the pages! I Highly recommend you read this book. Although I do agree with some that it was creepy and highly over the top at this time. But Bella? Wow - (Spoilers) I read this book to make fun of it but in all reality, it was an incredible teen romance. I love creepy and odd romances so I definitely enjoyed it (though that’s not necessarily saying they were in a very healthy relationship). And I truly enjoyed the characters (like Jasper ), I can understand why people dislike the plot and say it’s boring or poorly written but it wasn’t written to aim at adults it was aimed toward teenage girls, and if you look at it from that perspective it is really good. Also, I don't think Stephenie Meyer was saying that your life is meaningless without a boyfriend I think she was just saying that a teenager with her first love feels like their significant other is the best thing in the world. But I'm just a bookworm with some ideas so, please take this as only my opinion! ^^

I honestly thought this book was going to go in one direction where their time in the cabin is a fast blur, but that wasn’t this book at all. I loved that we got to spend so much time with Gianna and Elio, to explore their dreams and desires and what they want out of their future. Gianna is so sweet and I loved her desire to explore new experiences with someone experienced. It was exciting that she always had a plan, because I do too, but I also loved Elio’s influence on her. He is one that tends to go with the flow, to give his love (hockey) his whole focus, but I had to giggle when she influenced him with her weekly dinner lists, too! So cute! I loved their connection that formed so quickly at the perfect time. I loved their vulnerabilities that they were willing to share with each other. And I really loved that the drama and angst level in this book was pretty minimal. Elio was pretty swoon worthy, and Gianna was his perfect match. I loved them! I am loving this series! I am so excited for more!

Logan and faith - This is the story of Logan and Faith. He was injured in a plane crash while in the military and he damaged his voice box so he cannot speak. That means he needs to use tablets to speak for him and learn sign language. Faith is brought in to teach him to communicate. Then romance happens for these two. While romance is not taboo in this story, they are asked to keep it quiet. I am a big fan of Kaci Rose and I really adore this series. But this story was a bit too quiet for me. I really did not feel the love/attraction between Faith and Logan. He also seemed not to care that he lost his voice. He acclimated pretty easily too. Then he decides he needs space, semed to happen awfully fast. I respected what he did but it just seemed out of nowhere and then he treats Faith awfully. I understood that it was something he needed to do but I would have wanted it to lead up to it. Not just for it to happen so suddenly. This was a good story and I found it interesting how he could communicate. I also really liked Faith and Logan as characters. I just didn't love the story like I had the other books on the series. Loving Logan and Faith! - This book should be enjoyed by everyone! I loved getting to know the characters. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Though if you start with this book, you’ll want to go back and read the others. Logan is a veteran who had his plane shot down. As a result, he lost his voice and is no longer able to talk. He is sent to a special facility made for vets to use before they transition to life on the outside. They take excellent care of the patients there and try to meet all of their individual needs. Faith is assigned to teach Logan sign language and how to communicate with others. Almost on site, Logan takes to Faith. In turn, Faith likes Logan. Although both have their share of obstacles to overcome. I would definitely recommend this book - you won’t be sorry!. Loved it! Great story! - I absolutely loved Saving Logan: A Military Romance Book of Oakside Military Heroes. This series is so amazing. You don’t have to read them in order but I love when I start at the beginning and the characters are intertwined. Logan lost his ability to speak when he was injured in a plane crash. Faith will be teaching him ASL as well as other ways to communicate with people. They have an amazing connection from the beginning. Although it’s wrong since Logan is her patient, Faith can’t help but fall for him. Logan wants a future with Faith but when he starts to question his own abilities he knows he has to try life without her but unfortunately goes about it the wrong way. Has he lost Faith forever? Can he convince her he never meant to hurt her but had things ti prove to himself? This is just such an amazing series. I love all the characters and their stories evoke so many emotions. This is probably a must read. - things about this book and about Tim: ) if you read the entire huge series - the story of us, you would still want to read this which is quite different. ) In general I think Tim Urban is a great read and I liked a good deal of his waitbutwhy posts. If I could go back I would never have read it. I loved how CoHo originally ended the novel. I am Team manuscript all day. Why not tie up loose ends? - As with many of Mr Box’s Pickett books, the ending of this book leaves many obvious questions unanswered. This could have been avoided without much effort from the author by simply answering these questions: ) how were the many deaths at the hands of the falconers, as undeputized citizens, explained and justified? Certainly, someone in the local law enforcement would have taken issue with Geronimo and Romanoski being given such leeway by Officer Pickett. ) What was the fallout with Joe’s mother-in-law after the arrest of the governor? The reader would’ve lived to hear about her humiliation in the aftermath, seeing that we all despise her. Why not take a little more time and satisfy your readers’ curiousity?

Not up to par with earlier books - I’ve enjoyed a lot of CJ Boxes novels including the Joe Pickett series, but won’t be buying anymore. He needs to move on from these characters. At this point it’s like reading the Hardy Boys books. If you are new to the series go back and read the early novels which are very good before spending your money on the more recent titles.

Burner - Really enjoyed reading this book!! Skipped the long, detailed fights and graphic scenes demonstrating Court and Zoya as superheroes against incredible odds. Still loved the mission goals and underlying good versus bad decisions that reflect the end justifies the means ….. from destroying yachts to uncovering corruption in the highest places in governments all over the world. Money and power continue to corrupt, but may the good guys win!

Phenomenal - Mark Greaney is the best author in the suspense genre and it’s not close. I don’t know how he continues to top his last book over and over but I’m here for it. I only wish we could figure out a way to clone him so he could get more than one a year. Best Gray Man movie yet and next year will be the same. Must read.

Amazing books, but we absolutely HAVE to see the aftermath. - Ok, I have read the latest one already. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET THE NEXT ONE?!? I know I’m making it seem like a big deal, but I need more. I am crying now, because of this, this is an amazing story and I need more. But we can’t, because Nene has already admitted her love to Hanako, and the issue has been solved, and the story is coming to an end, but I NEED to know. What happens, all of the characters that are supposed to get together get together, right? What are the issues about this, I mean like lil relationship issues, and I think it would be funny to see Nene like, I dunno having lil tsundere outbursts at Hanako-Kun, like refusing to let him kiss her because she gets all flustered, and it’s kinda goofy for Hanako. I am voting for a lil slice of life shorter manga (just a few chapters shorter, nothing huge) with chibis instead of normal detailed characters, and just them vibing. No absolute peril, or maybe not, who knows, and more of them chilling, something like the Book . I think this story is so amazing, and I hope you can do this. - a fan

Spare-A Good Read of Harry’s Side of the Story - As an American, I applaud Harry for saying to heck with the British “stiff upper lip.” This is a heartfelt rendering of Harry’s recollection of events from the death of his mother, Princess Diana, to the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Harry is very straightforward with his thoughts after his mother’s death, his issues with alcohol, drugs and depression, and his need for family support and love. Harry also delves into inaccuracies of media accounts of his life activities and the palace handling of such matters. And lastly he unabashedly discusses finding the love of his life for which he would do anything. Bravo Harry.

his point of view - Throughout I had this same thought; why do I believe that Harry’s being totally honest about himself and his actions? It’s only because this is his book, written by him, that he can paint such a tragic picture for the reader of his complete innocence and mistreatment. He admits to being a substance abuser, but what he never admits to is that these are just printed words from his own point of view and so they may not be entirely accurate. As a loving husband & father myself though I respect his obvious love & devotion for his wife and children, and his steadfast devotion to his Queen is & his mother’s memory is inspiring. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of family drama on a royal scale.

Not a star sorry - Interesting insight of royalty. I’m glad that I read it. It made me realize that Harry is doing something to help with his past by seeing a therapist and his brother and the rest of the family should be seeing therapist as well. The life they live is not healthy. My feeling towards Camilla were spot on. She’s a manipulator and Charles is so spell bound by her (for reasons unclear), that he would let her do anything even hurt his family and turn a blind eye to it. Will and Kate are a very special family that take the monarch seriously and do their duty. They also have that snobbish attitude and lack of understanding of other peoples way of life. I’m sorry but having a tizzy over borrowing a friends/sister in laws lip gloss is not that big of deal. She didn’t slobber all over it, that would have been weird. We’re women we help each other out. They’d be better off going back and showing how good they can be for the Monarchy, keep the smoking anything out of your life. It hurts your lungs. Prove that the Spare can do better for his country than even his father and Camilla. Show them what your mother would have wanted you to do. Don’t let them take what’s rightfully yours. Let Meg shine on her own. Do the work and pour that positive energy out. Ignore the press, give them only good things to say. If you can’t get along with Will and Kate then work away from them. Show your children what true royalty should be like so that they’re respected as they get older. Personally I think there were other people behind your mothers wreck. It sure cleared the path for your father and Camilla to be able to marry. But that’s my opinion. Your mother wouldn’t want you looking any further into it, she’d want you to prove your worth and be strong in the monarchy and be happy, deliriously happy with your children. Prove to yourselves how you deserve your titles and the love of your own people. Take a stronger stance to the media. Don’t write a book. You were very forthcoming with things that you do. Sometimes it’s best to keep personal thing personal. Be a team with your wife and when something is said regarding race have her back and go to the press and tell them that their racism is very sad and makes whatever paper a sad sad disgrace to news everywhere. Racism should be abolished not something to write about, directed at one person for some sort of response. It makes the paper look bad, not the person that they’re talking about. It’s a shame that people would even want to read that sort of paper. Give them the truth back, don’t fight them, let the public know what a shame that these papers are trying to go back to racism being an issue as we all bleed the same color and breathe the same air. Tell them at least you’re not a racist and you love your wife for who she is. Meg is beautiful let her shine and give them positive attitude they’ll start seeing you as something that can’t give them any dirty news. Weed out the workers to keep your life personal. Don’t write to the world the injustice, you’re better at writing the positivity in your life. Be proud that you served your country, that you are a Prince that found his way with a good woman by his side. Make your mom proud.

Well written and interesting - Extremely well written and great story telling. Very interesting look into a public figure you thought you knew but are really just now meeting. Recommend not only to fans of the British royal family, but to those who enjoy a story of growth and reflection, and a peek into what it's like growing up in the very abnormal circumstance of royalty.

I read, I read, I told. - I have read this book at least times. Each time I have found something I did not see the first time. This a beautifully written memoir about Prince Harry’s life. It is written in three parts that cover from his mother death to him meeting the love of his life, having children and leaving his home country. This book as taken me through several emotions from sadness, anger, disappointment, laughter, elation and love for this man that I will probably never meet. Unlike what the tabloids/media reported the book was full of salacious details and and shared private conversations of his royal family. I disagree with that. This book is about what Prince Harry experienced. There are no bullet shot or thrown at his family. Everything he included in his memoir, involves things that where done to him by a family that didn’t care about him or his family, or didn’t know how to show care or love and support. Prince Harry also tells all his truths about himself. It’s amazing that he was able to become the man, husband and father that he is today. Plus he continues to work on himself. Each time I read this book, I read in one day. I have purchased the audio book also, because a friend let me listen to beginning of it. I found Prince Harry’s voice is so soothing. I wish only the best for you and your chosen family, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet and reconciliation with birth family. I for one respect you and love you and your family ‘more than I ever have before’

Sunshine After The Storm! - I find myself with very few words to describe my feelings as a parent on the absurdity of all that has happened to this young man. When the Netflix doc was announced I was visiting London and had Prince Harry in my thoughts the entire time- I wanted to understand how a royal with all it’s privilege could choose to live in America and not a castle. This book made it clear to me that his choice was the right one after all. May he find peace and joy after the storm. Realize that he does not owe anybody an explanation and continue to make his mom proud for taking a stand against the cruel press and the way he’s been treated. Life is beautiful and his family deserves a chance to experience it all in abundance and tranquility. Stay strong H&M and keep holding your head high.

First book in years - - As the title suggests, this book was the first I have ready in its entirety in years. I’ve lost my fair share of family, but somehow have kept the narcissist that inspires me to relate to this book so poignantly. Reading this was like looking in a mirror, and I felt pride for being able to identify with it. Thankful to Jennette for sharing her story! I was fully engrossed, and she has inspired me to get back into reading and writing.

Good read - I always liked her on icarly she was my favorite character on it. I find it sad that her life was not all smiles like on the show. I can relate to her troubles with an eating disorder I had problems with that when I was younger. I am glad things are going better for her now. And she is able to tell her story and be a writer something she had interest in being as she had said earlier in the book.

The title was shocking at first. - This is a painfully honest and inspiring book. So glad I read it. It is NOT a “poor me” book. It took guts and honesty to reveal herself. At , I didn’t know who she was when I started the book. I do now and I love who she is and cry for what what she had to deal with.

Disappointing - Very disappointed in this book. Spent pages reading about Anita complaining about her shoes. Should have just taken them off right away, maybe something of substance could have happened then. Where has Anita the warrior gone? She is now Anita the complainer. She’s been living with the same groups for years, does she really need to be reminded about everything all the time? “They can hear you…” Is she really that forgetful? And nothing happened in this book, nothing, and ended so suddenly. Agree with other reviewers, there are perhaps - chapters worth of good reading in this one. Wait for a sale, not worth the full price.

Where’s the rest? - I feel kinda like my action/adventure/romance/fantasy series has gone soap opera. Long on conversation, short on action for our Leading Lady in this book. It feels more like a chapter instead of a full length book and that’s disappointing considering how much it cost. Still, eagerly awaiting the next “chapter”.

Okay story, amateur writing - The story was easy to get into, it sets up to be a great mystery. However the writing is painfully amateur. It writes from almost a child’s idea of what life is like, and instead of being shown things, you’re often just told them which makes it less believable. There are also an array of grammar errors which is frustrating. I thought the story was worth it until about halfway through. Then it becomes exhausting following the characters, Adam’s whiny and reckless behavior gets old very quickly. The way sarah prances around and everyone just worships her was very unrealistic. But I held on. Then came the ending. From the start I very much thought the story was Gone Girl-esque, the ending made me realize it truly was a terrible copycat of the book. There’s one important distinction, Gone Girl is beautifully researched, written, and intentional with every last detail. This story couldn’t be further from that. It’s filled with loose ends and plot holes. It’s so unrealistic that I’m convinced the author has never even heard of the criminal justice system. The ending makes no sense, and for us to have spent the idea book listening to Sarah’s POV, it really just makes the whole thing seem like a lie. There were so many extra characters, twists and turns thrown in there just for the element of “surprise.” But ultimately you get nothing from it. There’s no satisfaction at all. I’m convinced the people who love this book are the same people obsessed with “Verity.” Personally, I’d rather spend my time elsewhere. Im sorry to be so direct with my review, However I wish there had been someone this honest in the reviews before I spent my $ (or however much it is) that I won’t be getting back.

Don’t pay full price for this book - I cannot believe this is a NYT best seller! The writing is clunky, the characters are kind of annoying, and the ending is rather disappointing. There is so much needless description and this book makes the mistake of telling the reader everything instead of showing the reader through action and natural sounding dialogue. There is also a lot of needless descriptions about things that don’t really matter. The ending of the book comes abruptly. It’s like the author got tired of writing or got bored of the story. The ending of the book contrasts with the beginning of the book where chapters are wasted with little character or story development. If you find this book somewhere for a couple dollars, it might be worth picking up for a quick, mindless read. But it is definitely NOT worth $.

Not a hit - I agree with other reviews. It started out good. I liked the alternating POV. There was so much unnecessary details and it dragged on. And some of the things did not make sense - like hello bag of spoiler Christian is just hanging on to for days even though they had a fire one night!!! I have watched way too many crime docs to see each stupid thing they did wrong. I guessed one of the twists but not the big one so that’s cool. The ending was very abrupt. So much detail in the whole book and the last two chapters it felt like the author went “eh… I’m over it” If this was free or under $ I would enjoy. But not worth full price.
