We’ve recently received some reports regarding our Telegram Poster. If you are having trouble seeing your channels or groups in the dropdown list, please ensure you have completed these steps:

1. Create a Telegram Bot.
2. Add the bot to your channel or group.
3. Promote the bot to an Administrator.

 

Additionally, if your channel/group has been inactive, our system’s crawler may not detect it. Posting a new message (which you can delete right after) will help our system find it and add it to the list.

Here’s the first release of updates and improvements for this year, focusing on enhancing the tagging options in personal and private feeds.

You can now assign tags to individual personal feed posts, not just entire feed. Find the Categories / Tags option when you write a new post.

Also, you can specify the Author of your post. RSS specifications require author field to be in a specific format: email and author’s name (e.g., name@email.com (Author’s Name)). Otherwise, the feed won’t pass validation in RSS feed validators. If you don’t need your personal feed to be valid you don’t have to follow that format.

When added, author and tags will appear after the item’s description (post’s body).

You can now assign tags to your private feeds during feed creation, not just while editing.

Some tags are assigned by default, but you can remove or replace them.

Tags assigned to private feeds will be saved in the feed’s channel under the <category> tag and won’t be visible in feed’s preview, unlike tags assigned to personal feed posts.

In RSS Ground, tags are used not only in personal and private feeds, but also in public feeds and datafeeds.  

To update or remove tags assigned to your feeds, just go to Feeds Box, search for your feed and double-click the Tags field. Then add/remove tags you need.

You can use Tags to search for your feeds in the Feeds Box. In the Filter option, use Search field. Enter your tag and press enter. If this tag was assigned to your feeds, they will be visible in search results.

Content feed tags can be used in posting campaigns as hashtags for social media posts or as post tags/labels in blog posts.

When setting up or editing your posting campaign, go to the Posting section, Advanced settings, and activate the Use <category> as hashtag option.

We are excited to unveil the latest service enhancements for RSS Ground. RSS Ground can be used on a set-and-forget basis. You can generate your private feeds, and they will be automatically updated with fresh content. You can then set up your posting campaigns and let automation handle the rest.

However, keeping an eye on how your posting campaigns run is imperative. You can use the posting campaigns log to review metrics such as successful posts, “no new content” notes, and error messages. These metrics will give you an idea of when tweaks are necessary.

We’re thrilled to announce a new feature that keeps you informed without the need to continuously check back: Email Notifications. Any snags in your posting campaign will be promptly communicated via email, so you’re always in the loop.

 

Ready for a summary of your campaigns’ progress? Opt-in for a Daily Digest, delivering a concise overview straight to your inbox.

 

To enable these notifications, simply navigate to the Default Settings and locate the Posting Campaigns Email Notifications section. Here you have the option to select:

• Errors Only – receive notifications instantly upon a posting error.
• Daily Posting Digest – enjoy a daily roundup of your campaigns’ logs.

 

Remember, all notifications are directed to the email address associated with your account in the Profile & Billing section.

Lately, we’ve noticed an increased number of reports indicating issues with Blogger posting campaigns, where the error message “(403) We’re sorry, but one or more limits for the requested action have been exceeded” is displayed.

To make it easier for you, in Blogger Poster we use our own Google Cloud app to make posts to Blogger on your behalf. The same app is shared among all of our users. Apparently, the app started facing Google-imposed rate limits for posting to Google Blogger blogs. 

As our user base and the volume of posting campaigns continue to grow, the frequency of requests to Google’s platform naturally increases. Consequently, there are moments when our application hits these rate limits.

To enhance the reliability of your posting campaigns, we have now integrated the option to use custom Google Blogger apps, each with its own set of limits. If you are a volume Blogger poster, have a lot of posting campaigns with frequent posting you should create and use your own apps. By creating and using your own apps in Blogger poster you can be guaranteed much smoother posting experience.

We continue our updates and improvements based on your recent suggestions. This time, we have enhanced some interface options as well as Personal Feeds functionality. Please enjoy!

Pagination has been added to the bottom of all RSS Ground lists (tables).

We have also added an “attention seeker” bouncing effect for the Filters icon. It will make sure you don’t forget that filters are “ON” in your table as filters do not reset unless you do it manually.

While previewing feeds in your Feeds Box now you can copy any item to one of your personal feeds with a draft status. Here is how it’s done:

Click on Preview in Feeds Box, then click on Copy  icon and select the checkmark Save as draft.

This will allow you to review or edit this item later and get it ready for further use.

Also, notifications now appear in the upper right corner.

 

In the Personal Feeds editor, you are now able to perfome more bulk actions with your feed’s items. 

Now you can: 

• Change status for the selected items to Draft / Active / Scheduled
• Copy selected items and save them to another personal feed (selected items will stay in the edited personal feed)
• Move selected items to another personal feed (selected will be removed from the edited feed)

 

Finally, we have fixed the bug with YouTube videos preview when magazine style is used in the Personal Feeds editor. You can now play them right in the magazine style mode.

 

What is coming up in the next update:

• Updated AI models for personal feeds;
• Hashtags / Categories for personal items, ability to generate them with AI;
• Ability to add Author to personal items;
• Updated trigger and action fields in integration platforms (IFTTT, Zapier and Pabbly Connect) based on these new updates in personal feeds.

Your feedback matters to us, and we’ve been working hard on our Personal Feeds based on what you told us in our ongoing survey.

We’re excited to show off a cleaner, user-friendly update – a straightforward, refreshed look that makes creating and editing personal feeds simple and efficient.

 

The feed title is now prominently visible at the top of the page when editing a feed.

 

The personal feed settings section is collapsible for better and quicker access to items.

 

We’ve also added a new sticky navigation bar for items, featuring “Write new post” and “Filters” buttons.

 

The Filters button allows you to search for items, filter them by status (Active, Scheduled, Draft, and Archived), and change the items’ view or their number per page.

 

Now, instead of different color backgrounds, items with different statuses are marked with color tags (Scheduled – blue, Draft – orange, Archived – grey).

 

Bulk actions for personal items are now available. Currently, the “Delete” option is available, but “Copy/Move” and “Change status” actions are coming soon. Use the checkmark to select the needed items and then choose the action.

Affiliate disclosure is a statement that makes it clear there is an affiliate relationship between a publisher and a brand. This can be a relationship where the affiliates receive anything in return for their endorsements, such as a commission, free items, flat fee, sponsorship, or other things of non-monetary value.

The Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) requires anyone engaged in affiliate marketing in the U.S. to clearly and conspicuously disclose that they may receive compensation for their promotion of third-party products or services.  When using written media with a link of any kind, consider using one of the following statements (or something similar):

“This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated”

“As an affiliate, I may be compensated if you make a purchase”.

We are glad to introduce some interface updates and improvements.

In the Feeds Box you can now see a new Filter icon.

Click to filter your content feeds by type, source and status and to use search option.  You can also change the number of feeds per page.

We have also added the Reset filters option for your convenience.

 

Use the Add content button to generate more content feeds.  

For further actions with your content feeds, select needed feeds from the list and use the Selected option. Please note, that only feeds on a current page can be selected for further processing. You can play with filters and feeds per page options to get all you necessary feeds on the same page.

Pay attention, the bar with filters and action buttons is now sticky. You can scroll down the list of your content feeds still having the needed options at your fingertips!

Similar update was added to the Posting Campaigns and Content Widgets sections.  Pagination controls were also moved to the right side of the sticky bar.

Not so long ago, RSS Ground became “compatible” with automation platforms such as Zapier, IFTTT, and Pabbly Connect. You can use RSS Ground Posting Campaigns and Personal Feeds as “triggers,” and utilize Personal Feeds as “actions.” But many of our customers have been inquiring about compatibility with other automation platforms or even their proprietary software, questioning if RSS Ground can interact with them. As it’s not possible to cover every available software or service out there, we have decided to implement a “universal” solution…

Meet Webhooks!

A “webhook” is like a signal that one website sends to another when something happens. It’s a way for websites to communicate with each other in real-time. Imagine you have two apps that need to share information—when something changes in one app, it can immediately inform the other app about the change using a webhook. This is extremely useful for automating tasks. For example, if there is an update in your posting campaign, a webhook could notify another app. It’s a simple and efficient way for apps to respond to events and collaborate seamlessly. All you need is the webhook URL used by the receiving party.

The Webhook option has been added to the Integration Platforms Poster. You can find it in the “Posting destination” dropdown:

This new functionality allows you to connect RSS Ground with ANY web service that supports webhooks, further expanding your content automation capabilities! We have tested it with Activepieces, Pipedream, Make.com and other automation platforms. Just find a trigger “Webhook” in any automation platform, copy webhook URL and enter it in your Integration posting campaign. Then continue setting up your automation workflow.

To begin sharing content from your personal feeds, you’ll need to set up a workflow (Zap or applet) with RSS Ground as a trigger. Each time a new item appears in your personal feed, it triggers an action. Think of it as a mini posting campaign with just one content feed that triggers as soon as there’s a new item.

But wait, there’s more!

Another exciting update coming your way very soon: We’ll be implementing webhooks into posting campaigns. This will enable you to connect your integration posting campaigns to any automation platform that supports webhooks or any third-party software with webhooks.

Following numerous requests from our users, we have added a Test Post option to your posting campaigns. You can now run manual posts regardless of whether the posting campaign is active or paused.

You can find the Test Post option in the campaign’s log pop-up or in the campaign’s editor, under the Automation section.

Please note, that using the Test Post option won’t affect the posting campaign’s automation settings.

We would like to remind you about the limits for Personal Feeds. You can add a maximum of 500 posts to your personal feeds. Out of these, the 50 latest posts will be visible in the personal feed, while the remaining 450 will be archived.

Previously, before the recent update, you were unable to add more posts to your personal feed once you reached the 500 posts limit.

However, with the current update, you can now add more posts to your personal feed even if the limit has been reached. But please note that as soon as a new post is added, the oldest archived post will be automatically and permanently deleted.

Now you have the option to edit the [Buy now] / [Read more] buttons in your private eBay, Amazon, CJ Affiliate, and Best Buy affiliate feeds. You can customize the default CSS to change the appearance of the item’s order button to match your website’s design.

 

To do this, use the Order button CSS option in the affiliate feeds generators. 

However, please note that editing CSS settings carries some risk. If you are unsure about how it works, it is recommended to leave it intact.

We have enhanced the usability of the posting campaign Automation option. Now, you can utilize the ‘Run campaign‘ option to set the campaign to run continuously or on specific days.

• ‘Run campaign = Always‘ means the campaign will run every day of the week.
• ‘Run campaign = Specific Days & Times‘ allows you to select specific days of the week and time periods for your posts.

As you may already know, the Gearbest platform is no longer in operation. As a result, we have been compelled to suspend our Gearbest affiliate feeds generator.

Since you have generated numerous Gearbest feeds that are no longer functional, we have made the decision to remove them from your Feedsboxes. This will help free up space on our servers and alleviate any restrictions on your private feeds.

In the meantime, we encourage you to switch to using our other affiliate feeds generators:

The same functionality will apply to personal feeds. Whenever a new post is added to a personal feed, it will be sent to an automation platform.

Full Zapier Experience

Until recently you can only use RSS Ground in Zapier as an action, meaning you could use triggers on Zapier to automatically add content to your personal feeds.  Now we have implemented RSS Ground as a trigger on Zapier where you can use your posting campaigns as triggers and send posts to any action app.  We are also excited to announce “Full Zapier Experience” where you don’t have to leave your RSS Ground account to access your Zaps / Workflows, create new ones or user Zap Templates.  

To do so, while in posting campaign, just click on Zapier logo, or the link under it and you will end up on this page in a new tab:

You can enable automation platforms integration in any of our posters in “Posting” section. After doing so, that campaign will become visible in the list of campaigns in your Zapier, IFTTT or Pabbly Connect trigger:

After major changes on the X (Twitter) platform, we have introduced an update to our Twitter Poster.

Most options and features remain the same. However, you now need to create own Twitter apps to continue posting to your Twitter accounts. 

Previously created posting campaigns have to be updated!

Together with X (Twitter) Poster, we have updated our X (Twitter) Feeds generator.

You can generate self-updating feeds with recent posts related to a specific keyword or a specific X (Twitter) user.

No need to create your own Twitter app. All previously generated feeds will continue working.

After recent changes on the Facebook platform, we have made some updates to our Instagram Poster. If you don’t see your Instagram accounts in the list in your posting campaign, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the posting campaign editor.
2. Disconnect the Facebook user.
3. Authenticate the Facebook user again and confirm all requested permissions. 
4. Ensure the Instagram accounts are shown in the list.
5. Save the campaign.

We have updated our Social Login feature.  You can log in to RSS Ground with one of your favorite social platform profiles: Facebook, Google, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.

Just make sure your social profile has the same email as your RSS Ground user.

Due to recent changes on Twitter, our Twitter Poster and Twitter Feeds features have been temporarily suspended.

We are excited to announce a significant update to the Twitter Poster.

Your immediate action is required to ensure the continuity of your posting campaigns!

The primary change in our new X (Twitter) Poster involves the necessity of utilizing your own Twitter app (X).

Default RSS Ground app will be limited to making posts once a day and will share 1500 posts per month among all users.

Please follow this step-by-step guide on how to create your custom X (Twitter) app.

As soon as you create your X (Twitter) app, please make sure you save Client ID and Client Secret keys. You will need them in RSS Ground.

To start making posts to your X (Twitter) account you need to create a set:  Account / X (Twitter) app.

As soon as you create a set, you will be able to select it in all of your Twitter posting campaigns. 

You can create your app under one X (Twitter) account and then use it in a set with other X (Twitter) accounts for posting. There is no need to create separate apps for each of your X (Twitter) accounts. 

However, keep in mind that each app under a free X (Twitter) account is limited to 1500 posts per month.

Depending on your posting capacity, you can set one app with several X (Twitter) accounts, or set up several apps with one account and use different sets in different posting campaigns.

Attention RSS Ground users,

We regret to inform you that we encountered a significant disruption in our services this week. For a period exceeding 72 hours, both RSS Ground feeds and content widgets were non-functional, and posting campaigns failed to make any posts.

The cause of this disruption was an unforeseen incident of fire and subsequent emergency power shutdown at the datacenter where our RSS Ground servers are housed.

Regrettably, the circumstances surrounding this incident were entirely out of our control. This is the first time in our 17-year history that we have encountered such an unprecedented event.

Chronology of the incident: Official status updates from our NY datacenter

We have utilized backup copies of our service databases to temporarily restore your private and personal feeds, datafeeds, and content widgets from an alternate datacenter.

In order to prevent data desynchronization, including potential duplicate postings, we made the decision to hold off on resuming posting campaigns until our main posting campaigns servers were fully restored.

We are pleased to inform you that at present, all feeds, widgets, campaigns, and the Feeds Reader are operating normally once again.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by this service disruption.

We greatly appreciate your understanding. We recognize the importance of maintaining uninterrupted operation of your feeds, widgets, and posting campaigns.

Even before the fire incident at our datacenter was resolved, our engineers initiated efforts to develop a new service backend infrastructure to prevent similar failures in the future. We will be implementing a load balancing system that is independent of a single datacenter.

We have introduced the ability to generate YouTube channel feeds using the “@channel” tag. Previously generated YouTube channel feeds will continue to function without any issues.

You can now make posts to LinkedIn brand pages (showcase pages). 

Once you authenticate your LinkedIn account in your posting campaign, you will be able to select the desired page from a list.

Due to recent changes on Facebook, we have made some updates to Instagram Feeds. If your Instagram Feeds are not working, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the editor of the affected feed.
2. Disconnect the Facebook user associated with the feed.
3. Authenticate the Facebook user again by clicking on “Authenticate.”
4. Save the feed. This will automatically update all other Instagram feeds connected to the same Facebook user.

We have resolved all recent errors and made improvements to Telegram Feeds. They should now be running smoothly.

And if you don’t have them prepared or don’t want to waste your time searching for royalty free images, try DALL-E – a neural network-based artificial intelligence system created by OpenAI that is capable of generating images from textual descriptions.

 

Click on the OpenAI assistant option when you create a new personal feed post.

Then under “Select content type” pick DALL-E image to have a unique image drawn based on your prompt inad inserted into your post. (Read more).

Please note: To generate images with the help of DALL-E you have to use your OpenAI Secret API key. Basic users also have to use their key to generate text with ChatGPT assistant. Paid users can use ChatGPT without an API key. ×

In both cases, with text or image assistant, you need an effective prompt to generate a quality response.

We have received several reports from our CJ Affiliate Feeds users that all of a sudden CJ feeds have stopped working.

It looks like some changes have occurred on the CJ Affiliate’s side. Please make sure your CJ Affiliate account is still active. You need to re-activate your CJ account to resume your CJ Affiliate feeds generated in RSS Ground.

As you probably know, ClickBank no longer supports its marketplace feed functionality. The only way to access the marketplace is from your ClickBank account.

However, we have an agreement with ClickBank team that allows us to generate ClickBank product feeds with all recent offers.

Also, note that some advanced settings options were deprecated.

Twitter is one of the major headliners in recent days. Not so long ago it announced about some changes in its service access for developers.

However, this won’t affect much your Twitter Feeds and Twitter Poster experience.

But you should be aware that now you can only make up to 1500 Twitter posts per user per month.

For improved reliability we no longer allow posting to multiple destinations within the same posting campaign (Facebook and LinkedIn Poster are affected).

You can make copies of a running campaign and set it to make posts to needed destinations.

To avoid duplicate posts we also recommend “Only new” as a posting order in the copied campaigns.

We continue developing AI (artificial intelligence) features. We will be implementing AI text composing assistant and AI image generation options for our personal feeds. Several other improvements will be added along. Stay tuned!

We have prepared a major update for one of the most popular automated posters in RSS Ground – LinkedIn Poster.

LinkedIn poster can make continuous posts to your LinkedIn personal feed or LinkedIn company pages. And now you can control what content you wish to post.

Find a list of new Advanced settings in the “Posting” section of your LinkedIn posting campaigns.

Now you can optionally add item’s title, description and image to posts.

Also, you can add custom text, specify call-to-action text with a link, add custom tags as well as shorten item’s link and append it with any parameters. (affiliate ids, google tags etc.)

Here is an example of LinkedIn post with all content elements:

 

Your existing posting campaigns will keep running with minimal settings. Please use campaign’s editor to activate these new options.

Please note, after this update your posting campaigns will be able to make posts only to a single company page. If you still wish to update several company pages, you need to create separate posting campaigns for each one.

Recently, we have released a decent chunk of updates and improvements. Below is what has been done in RSS Ground to make it better. We constantly strive to improve. 

IFTTT Integration For Existing Posting Campaigns

Not so long ago we have introduced  IFTTT platform integration. Since then, you are able to create posting campaigns and connect them with numerous IFTTT applets to make scheduled posts to other services.

But then we took it a step further. Now you can connect ALL OF YOUR EXISTING POSTING CAMPAIGNS to IFTTT. This allows you to re-post what was posted to any IFTTT action.  It’s an awesome feature where you can instantly cross-promote your posts, set up advanced logging, email or SMS notifications for your posting campaigns or even (and why the heck not) integrate them into your smart home routines. 

 

We also would like to remind you about a feature where you can shorten and track your links in all automated posting campaigns.

This allows you to track clicks in your posts by using one of the popular link shortening services such as Bitly.com or TinyURL.com.

Find Shorten & track links option in the Advanced settings of the Posting section in all posting campaigns.

In Instagram you can make either image posts or video posts. Video posts are now known as reels.

In your Instagram Feeds generator you can now filter image, posts and reels.

Find the Filter by content type option in the Advanced settings.

We remind you that Advanced settings are available only for paid RSS Ground users.

We have updated our Shopify Feeds generator in accordance with the latest Shopify developers documentation. You can now generate product feeds of your Shopify stores again.

 

As soon as you authenticate your Shopify store you will see a complete list of your collections. There is no division into custom and smart collections. Product collections are listed all together in chronological order.

One of our recent major updates was integration with IFTTT platform that connects hundreds of businesses and millions of users. You can create special IFTTT posting campaigns and send content posts to IFTTT applets.

However, now we took it a step further and implemented IFTTT integration option into all of our posting campaigns.

Find Automate with IFTTT option in Posting section of your existing posting campaigns.

Your posting campaigns will continue making posts to selected destination and at the same time can trigger connected IFTTT applets.    

As soon as you activate this option in your posting campaign, you will see the name of your posting campaign in the list of your IFTTT applets. Select the campaign to connect:

This new IFTTT automation feature allows you to cross promote your posts by sending them to any IFTTT actions (destinations). Or another application is to set up sophisticated logging for your posting campaigns, advanced email or SMS notifications or automate it in any other way you see possible with IFTTT.

 

This is how it works: 
As soon as your posting campaign makes a post it will take the same content and send it to IFTTT applet. The only difference is that IFTTT will get a link to the recently made post.

Improving organic traffic can sometimes be challenging, but if you apply the correct SEO strategies, the hard work will eventually pay off. Search engine traffic is great because it’s relevant and targeted. For most websites, organic traffic converts much better than traffic from social media or other sources. Another great advantage is that visits from search engines are much more consistent.

If you want to learn how to increase organic traffic, these are the most important things to apply right now:

1. Identify your website’s bad & good links
2. Remove and disavow bad backlinks
3. Blog about your user’s questions and problems
4. Be a contributor on reputable sites in your industry
5. Do keywords research and create a keyword database
6. Optimize your meta data and content
7. Create quality content on a regular basis
8. Create a powerful internal linking system
9. Encourage readers to link to your website
10. Monitor your SEO progress and the incoming links

Looks simple, right?

Let’s move to the science part of increasing organic visits.

 

 

 

1. Identify your website’s bad & good links

For the last years, backlinks have been the essential element of SEO. Even though some rumors claim that their value will decrease in the future, some Googlers (including Matt Cutts) have confirmed that links will remain the major ranking factor for the coming years.

Sure, you can get traffic from Google, without many links, or with just a few of them, but the truth is you’ll never be able to compete with the authoritative sites in your industry, without building or earning quality backlinks.

If you are serious about improving organic traffic for a site, you have to know what backlinks are helping you with SEO and the ones that are a threat for your rankings. I assume you already know that not all backlinks are good, and search engine optimization is not about the number of links you have.

To get good results with SEO and continuously improve your organic traffic, you have to analyze all your site’s backlinks and compare their value. Once identified your best backlinks, try to get more of the same.

These are some of the most important elements of a good backlink:

• The link is from a relevant website in your industry
• Contextual links are best for SEO and also for driving traffic
• Links from a long and detailed article will carry more value
• The backlink is dofollow. For organic traffic growth, only dofollow links will count.
• The backlink was added by an editor and was not automatically built
• The link is from a site with a good domain authority and a trusted source

 

 

2. Remove and disavow bad backlinks

You can improve your rankings in Google by getting rid of the bad backlinks. It’s inevitable to avoid bad links. All websites have some, including popular and trusted sites. The more bad links a website has, the harder it will be to increase its rankings and get more organic traffic. Too many low-quality links can even cause Google penalties.

After going through the first step and analyzing all your links, you can tag all the ones you consider them to be bad.

These are the steps to follow to clean up your bad links:

a. After analyzing your backlinks, you have to tag the links you think are bad, and you want to remove. You can tag them in Monitor Backlinks by clicking on the small icon on the left of each row. Then click on “edit”.

A window will pop up, and there you can tag the link and click “submit”. I usually tag the bad links with the word “bad”, so I can easily find them later.

b. Once tagged all the bad links, you can find them using the filters button. Click on “tags” and select the tag you’ve used for the links you want to remove.

c. Now that you’ve created a list of your bad links, you’ll have to try to remove them. Do email outreach and send a request to the webmasters to remove the backlink to your website.

Don’t get discouraged if you’ll fail to remove most of them, it happens often. Monitor Backlinks will automatically check the status of your links daily and will send you email alerts if any of them is deleted. Therefore, you won’t have to check manually if the links are removed.

d. With the backlinks you couldn’t remove, create a disavow report and submit it to the Google Disavow Tool.

 

 

3. Blog about your user’s questions and problems

If you have an online business, surely you’ll get a lot of questions from your potential or existing clients. Even if you have a content-based website, people will have questions that need answers. Instead of giving a short reply to each question by email, it’s best to write a detailed article covering the problems and concerns of your users.

Why?

Because people tend to type the same questions in Google, and it would be great if your website would come up on the first results with a solution to their problems. That’s a great way to drive targeted organic traffic.

 

 

4. Be a contributor on reputable sites in your industry

One of the best ways to promote your website is to become a contributor on the most popular websites from your niche. This is how you can get your website in front of an already established community and potentially get referring traffic, but also a backlink that will have a positive impact on your SEO.

Be aware that guest blogging on low-quality websites might have a negative impact instead. Therefore, you have to be very selective when choosing the website you are writing for.

 

 

5. Do keywords research and create a keyword database

Keywords research is a very important process for search engine optimization as it can tell you the exact phrases people are using to search on Google. Whenever you write a new blog post, you have to check the most popular keywords, but don’t be obsessed by the search volume. Sometimes, long tail keywords are more valuable, and you can rank for them more easily.

The best way to find keywords is still with the Google keyword tool.

 

 

6. Optimize your meta data and content

The first thing Google looks at a website is the meta data and the presence of keywords in the first paragraphs of your content. If your meta data contains information about the user’s queries, your website has higher chances to rank higher.
These are some of the things to optimize for better organic traffic:

• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and keywords
• Optimize images titles, ALT, and description
• Add your most important keywords in the first paragraphs but avoid keyword stuffing

 

 

7. Create quality content on a regular basis

You’ve heard it a million times. Content is king. That’s true, quality content will naturally attract backlinks, social media shares and overall improve the user experience on your site.

Good content is not enough anymore. Your articles have to be outstanding and must be much better than the one of your competitors. Don’t write just and useless articles just for the sake of publishing something new. Instead, concentrate on quality and make your content stand out from the crowd. The competition is increasing as we speak, and quality will be the only way to succeed.

 

 

8. Create a powerful internal linking system

The easiest ways to create backlinks to your existing articles or sales pages is by using a good internal linking system. By linking to relevant posts you’ve written before you can build quality links and use the anchor text you prefer. These links are valuable for SEO, but will also keep your readers spend more time on your site.

 

 

9. Encourage readers to link to your website

As I said at the beginning of the article, more naturally earned backlinks, will help you get more organic traffic and improve SEO. You can suggest your readers to link back to your website by having a small widget at the bottom of your posts. Just as you have the social media sharing links, an embedded linking widget will increase the chances to get more backlinks.

However, don’t directly ask anyone to link to your website. The goal is to make it easy for others to link to your website, and not force them to do so.

 

 

10. Monitor your SEO progress and the incoming links

Organic traffic acquisition and SEO is a never ending process. No matter how much traffic you have now and how well you are doing with search engine optimization, you should never neglect and ignore the SEO progress.

Always monitor how the organic traffic is evolving from week to week and analyze what has worked best and what didn’t. With time, your website will attract backlinks, and all of them have to be analyzed. Every month, do a new analysis of the new links and see if the ones you received lately are good or bad for SEO.

We are excited to introduce posting campaign editor’s new interface. All changes are based on your notes and suggestions. 

Now a posting campaign editor has 3 main sections: Content, Posting and Automation. 

In the Content section you add your content feeds. Advanced settings will fine tune the algorithm of selecting  content from your feeds for the next post.

We have also added a new exciting feature where you can add feeds to the posting campaign from your Feeds Box without leaving the editor. Use “Add content” option for that.

In the Posting section you authenticate your blog, or social media profile (user account) and specify posting destination (page, group, channel, blog). And advanced settings will help you customize your posts.

In the Automation section you set your posting campaign timing: how often your posting campaign should make posts. Advanced automation settings allows to implement a more flexible schedule of running your posting campaign.

Since posting campaign settings may differ depending on the posting destination, please find their detailed description in user manuals.

You may notice that we have changed the order of the options in our main navigation menu. Nothing else was critically changed here.

According to your numerous requests, we made posting automation more flexible.

Now you can set your posting campaigns to make posts only on weekdays, or to skip posting at night. Also you can change a time zone for your posting campaigns if needed.

All existing posting campaigns will keep running and no need to update them unless you wish to implement new posting automation options.

 

When you create a new posting campaign, go to “Advanced settings” to find new “posting automation” options.

If you wish your posting campaign to run continuously, just leave “posting automation” settings intact.  Otherwise, you can choose week days you wish to run your posting campaign on, and even a period of time during a day.

Your timezone will be automatically detected according to your computer settings. But you can change it if you wish to make your posts in a different timezone.

In July, we have prepared a list of updates that will help you manage your automated posting campaigns much easier. 

Show If Feed Item Was Already Published.

In posting campaign editor, you can use  “Feed Preview” option [], and find out which feed items were already published in that posting campaign.

If you use “Recycle” option in your campaign settings to publish same items several times, the green tag next to item’s title will show you how many times it was published.

Each posting campaign has a log that shows all actions performed, like successful posts, error messages, campaign updates and so on. You can find  “Posting campaign log”    option in the list of your posting campaigns.

Now we have also added that icon to your posting campaign editor! You can find it next to the “Save campaign” button and in Basic settings in the “Next run” option.

Based on multiple requests from our users, we have increased the number of  posting campaign log records from 50 to 250. So now you can see a longer history of your posting campaign activity.

Also, to make it easier to analyze your logs, we have added a filter. Now you can filter campaign log records by type: successful posts, error messages, campaign updates and “no new content” messages.

Right now we are working on a new platform – Telegram.

We have plans to develop a Telegram Feeds generator and an
automated Telegram Poster.

Custom Categories In eBay Feeds Generator

Now Custom category ID option is available for all eBay marketplaces. Find this option in the list with basic eBay categories.

You can use an eBay category ID lookup service to find a specific category ID. Pay attention, the same categories may have different IDs for different eBay marketplaces.

Several days ago, eBay Partner Network reported an issue with EPN links.

We have developed an update which will automatically append eBay links with appropriate parameter when they are posted to Facebook via your posting campaigns in RSS Ground.

No further action is required on your end!

We have updated our Affiliate Program.

Now you don’t have to be an RSS Ground member to participate in the Affiliate Program. Anyone can register for affiliate program alone.

Also, we have improved affiliate commission rates. All affiliates start with a 30%  commissions rate. It increases to 50% commission rate after attracting 50 new members (versus 100 referrals before).

We are excited to share news about our latest updates and upcoming plans. A lot has been done to improve Personal Feeds functionality and  interactions with the Facebook Platform.  

Personal feeds media files

We have improved processing of media files in personal feeds. You can now see if your personal feed item contains media or enclosure files. An additional tab will be visible next to the tab with item’s description in the item’s editor.

Media files from [Media:content] and [Enclousure] tabs can be removed, and your own media files can be added instead.

Facebook has updated its developers documentation just recently. And several good new features were brought with this update.  

Instagram platform update will be announced below.

You may notice some changes with your Facebook feeds. More content is now shown in your Facebook page and group feeds. Now additional text content is shown above post’s image.

Video posts are now also visible in Facebook feeds. They contain an image thumbnail that links back to the original Facebook posts with video.

Unfortunately Facebook platform update also has a drawback.

Starting from May 24, 2021, Facebook group feeds will display only posts not older than 90 days.

Please check your Facebook group feeds to make sure they work fine in your posting campaigns, content widgets or Feeds Reader.

eBay Partner Network has moved from rover-based tracking links to a new tracking link format, which complies with industry standards. All former rover-based tracking links have to be replaced with the new tracking links by Wednesday, March 31.

We are ready for these changes and have released update for our eBay Feeds generator.

Your existing eBay feeds and posting campaigns  were automatically updated and now contain new eBay affiliate tracking  links with your eBay campaign ID embedded. No further action is required on your part!

Along with tacking links changes, some searching options are no longer supported by eBay

 

The following advanced options were removed from eBay Feeds generator:

• Listings: wholesale lots
• Listings: auctions with Buy it Now
• Show only items: with PayPal accepted
• Show only items: from top rated sellers
• Shipping: expedited shipping
• Shipping: get it fast

Sorting options were also limited to Best match and Price low/high

Some eBay marketplaces are also not yet available for search. For now, you can generate feeds from:

• eBay USA
• eBay Canada (English)
• eBay UK
• eBay Australia
• eBay Germany
• eBay France
• eBay Italy
• eBay Spain
• eBay Hong Kong

Please use the Preview option to make sure the marketplace you use returns any results.

We will be updating the list of available marketplaces as soon as they are released.

Also, pay attention, marketplaces are now have their own list of categories. And you can use any category ID if you can’t find the needed category in the list.

You can still search for eBay products by keywords or by seller’s name. Your eBay campaign ID will be automatically added to the eBay product links.

One of the novelties – you can now use your custom ID to differentiate your traffic.

If you believe that the above changes don’t affect you, then no further action is required.

Otherwise, you can use the Edit option in Feeds Box and make needed updates to your feeds.

And if you were using old links outside our eBay feeds, you have to replace them with new links.

After the recent changes in CJ Affiliate developers API, we had to update our CJ Affiliate Feeds generator.

If you have  CJ Affiliate feeds in your Feeds Box, they may have stopped working and require action on your part.

From now on, in order to generate CJ Affiliate Feeds besides the Personal Access Token you will also need a Company ID. Company ID is your Commission Junction account number. It differentiates a publisher from other CJ accounts. This number is located at the top right corner of your screen under your name.

You still need to use your Website ID. This number will not only help identify your account, but it is also used in your tracking code to track transactions back to your account.

About CJ Affiliate credentials

 

To add Company ID to your feeds, you can either use the “Edit” option in Feeds Box:

Or, especially if you already have multiple CJ Affiliate feeds, you can go to “Account” > “Default settings“, specify your Personal Access Token, Company ID, Website ID and select “Overwrite CJ Affiliate credentials in all feeds“. Then press “UPDATE” button:

You also need to pay attention to Advanced settings in CJ Affiliate Feeds generator. From now, if you wish to generate a feed with products from a specific CJ Affiliate advertiser, you need to use an appropriate filter under “Advanced settings”. You can use several advertisers’ IDs at a time, as well as several keywords if needed. Only products related to your filters will be displayed in the feed.

If your products are listed in different currencies, you can use a special filter to display products related to your local market.

We have one “gray” and one great news. Which one to start with?

The “gray” goes first. We are removing Custom Feeds feature from our Feeds Reader.

The great news comes right after! From now, personal feeds will replace custom feeds functionality.

All your custom feeds will be automatically converted into personal feeds and show up in your Feeds Box under the same titles:

 

After this update, you will be able to add items from Feeds Reader to your personal feeds as well as set advanced filters to automatically add targeted items to them.

When you add an item or set a filter in Feeds Reader, you will see the list of all your personal feeds to choose from:

 

If you still need your ex-custom feeds in your Feeds Reader, please go ahead and add them back again to any category you like, or create a separate category for them.

If you use custom feeds in your posting campaigns or content widgets, they will be automatically updated. There is no further action required from you. The same is with your advanced filters.

But if you use custom feeds somewhere outside RSS Ground, you need to replace them with the new personal feed URLs. Copy related personal feed URL in Feeds Box:

By removing custom feeds and replacing their functionality with newly introduced personal feeds we are trying to make our service more user-friendly and simple. Personal feeds will allow you to operate your content like never before.

It’s been a while after our last major update. However, we were busy as always working on exciting updates.

You might have noticed some visual changes on our website, including a new navigation menu and a new “My Account” page. 

It was long time overdue to lighten up the design and to simplify our head menu:

The most exciting update, from our opinion, is that from now on you can preview your RSS Ground feeds not just in Feeds Box or Feeds Reader, but also in any web browser!

Simply open the link in your favorite browser and enjoy your reading!

This upgrade will be very useful for your Personal Feeds. You can add your favorite content to your personal feed and share the link with anybody who wants to follow your feed.

You don’t need any readers, aggregators or apps. Just a regular web browser!

You can use your personal feed as your public news board!

According to recent announcements from eBay, its Dynamic Feeds Generator (eBay RSS Feeds Generator) will be deprecated very soon. Moreover, all affiliate links from the old eBay RSS feeds won’t be tracked and commissions won’t be calculated  beginning August, 2020.

To ensure our users’ uninterrupted experience with eBay, we have updated our  eBay Feeds generator according to the latest eBay developers documentation and API. You can now generate brand new eBay affiliate feeds. These new feeds will automatically contain your affiliate campaign IDs in product links. You will be able to see the conversions in your eBay affiliate accounts and enjoy commissions.

We have also added a few new filter options, such as “Product Condition” and “Shipping”.

Your existing eBay feeds will be converted  to the new format. There is no need for you to re-generate and replace them in your posting campaigns and content widgets. Another great news is that now you will have an option to edit your eBay feeds if you wish to add a new filter or update search query.

For your convenience we will keep your old eBay RSS feeds in your Feeds Box temporarily. These feeds will be counted as “public feeds”. You can remove them anytime.

We are excited to announce the release of beta version of a new and long-awaited tool – Personal Feeds.

In its first iteration it will allow you to create personal feeds and add items from other content feeds.

You may have already used custom feeds for that in our Feeds Reader. But the main difference between personal and custom feeds is that personal feeds will work in Feeds Box and custom feeds will stay (for now) in Feeds Reader.

Personal feeds allow you to implement a semi-automated posting method, where you decide which exactly items you wish to be posted.

You can create separate personal feeds for items from a specific content source, or on a specific topic, or dedicated to a specific posting campaign.

Content will stay in your personal feeds even after content feeds that originally had that content were deleted from your Feeds Box.

 

Find Personal Feeds link in the header menu:

 

 

You can also start creating personal feeds from MY ACCOUNT page by using “Add new feeds” > “Generate private feeds” dropdown and then clicking on Personal feeds icon:

To add new items to your personal feed, you need to go to Feeds Box and click Preview icon of any feed you like.

 

 

In the preview, pick any item you like and click on little  “Man with a plus” icon

 

 

Then choose personal feed from the dropdown and click ADD

Personal feeds will work just as regular RSS Ground private feeds. You can use them in your posting campaigns, content widgets or add to your Feeds Reader.

Personal feeds are private feeds and their number in your account is limited according to your quota for private feeds.

Please note that Personal Feeds is still in Beta version. We are continuing the development process. We need your feedback on the existing functionality and on the features or options you wish to see next in personal feeds.

Next major update for Personal Feeds will include the functionality to create / write your own posts / items and edit existing items.

Now we have a full list of Amazon local stores. You can find it in Advanced settings of Amazon Feeds generator. Each locale has its own list of product departments (categories). 

Please note, you have to be registered with a local Amazon affiliate program to be able to generate affiliate feeds from a local Amazon store.

Here is the list of available Amazon locales: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.

You can now search for Amazon products with a specific condition. Find “Condition” option in Advanced settings of Amazon Feeds generator.

Here is the list of available condition types:

• New
• Used
• Collectible
• Refurbished

You can now search for products which satisfy certain delivery terms:

• Amazon Global
• Free Shipping
• Fulfilled By Amazon

Find the “Delivery program” option in Advanced settings of Amazon Feeds generator.

We have also updated an option to sort search results. Find the “Sort Amazon listings” option in Advanced settings. You can now sort products by:

• Price: low to high

• Newest arrivals

One of the most important changes in Amazon Feeds is a new product feed full view layout.

Amazon product now includes a medium size image, all available product parameters, short product description with its features, and “Buy now” button.

YouTube Feeds Now require API key

Because of the new limitations at Google developers platform, search requests for YouTube videos now have to be signed with a personal user key.

You need to obtain your own Google API key in order to resume your existing YouTube feeds or to be able to generate new YouTube feeds.

You can use “Default settings” to automatically add your new API key to the existing YouTube feeds, no need to regenerate them or edit each feed manually.

We have added a new option to YouTube Feeds generator. Now you can choose a language preference for your videos. This option is usually used when you search for videos by keywords.

Language preference parameter allows to return search results that are most relevant to a specified language. 

You can use Edit option in Feeds Box to add this new filter to your existing YouTube feeds.

In addition to Facebook pages, you can now generate self-updating content feeds of Facebook groups you participate in.

To be able to generate a feed of a Facebook group, you need to make sure RSS Ground app is added to that group.

Just recently Amazon has updated its developers documentation. According to this update, only personal keys generated and saved under Product Advertizing API section of your Amazon affiliate account are valid.

Personal keys saved under AWS are no longer supported. You can migrate your AWS keys to Product Advertizing API if you haven’t done so before. Migration guide

We also remind you about Amazon limitations introduced earlier. You can temporary loose access to Product Advertising API if you don’t have referring sales for a consecutive 30-day period. Because of this your Amazon feeds can become inactive.

This week, those of you who use private YouTube feeds could notice that they now produce an error. This happens because of the recent changes in Google developers platform. Google has introduced very loose quotas for the number of YouTube video search requests. And our own RSS Ground app quota couldn’t cover all the requests from thousands of existing YouTube feeds generated by our users.

The only solution in this situation was to allow our users to personalize YouTube search requests to resume existing feeds and be able to generate more feeds. To personalize YouTube search, you need to obtain your own Google API key.

Here are instructions on how to obtain Google API key for YouTube feeds:

If you already have YouTube feeds generated before the key option was implemented, you can easily resume all your feeds at once:

• Go to Default settings;
• Find Google YouTube API section and add your key there;
• Enable Overwrite key for all YouTube feeds checkmark;
• Press Update.

Your API key will be automatically added to all of your existing YouTube feeds:

If you don’t have YouTube feeds you can still save your API key in Default settings, and it will be automatically shown in YouTube Feeds generator every time you wish to generate new YouTube feeds.

 

Please note, all YouTube feeds and posting campaigns that use these feeds will keep failing until you implement your personal API key. If you have many  YouTube feeds, you probably need several keys. Please contact our support team for more information.

Time flies fast, especially when you are busy doing something you like and care about. This time we have added a improved image posting to Facebook pages and groups, additional options for feed editing and a bit more clear error notifications in feeds Preview.

Before, when you made a post to your Facebook, only one image (photo) was attached to it. But now, if there are several images associated with feed item, all of them will be attached to your Facebook post.

To activate this new feature allowing you to post images and videos, go to Advanced settings of your Facebook posting campaigns and select “Use item’s images and videos” option.

Title and tags help you search or sort your content feeds in your Feeds Box. But when you edit your feed you can completely change its topic and content. In that case, the feed won’t match it’s previous title or tags anymore.

Now, when you edit your feed you can also change its title and tags right in the editor. No need to go to Feeds Box to do so.

Sometimes your content feed can be invalid for one reason or another. And a pop-up window with error message can be rather inexplicable.

We have improved error messages and now you can see them in feed’s Preview. If something is wrong with the feed, error message will clearly tell you what it is.

We recommend using Preview option before you generate your feed or add it to a posting campaign or a content widget. Just make sure the feed works fine before you proceed.

No doubt, media content is very important  when it comes to updating your blogs and social network pages. We totally understand that and constantly improve images and videos processing, either in content feeds or posting campaigns. Today we are glad to introduce one of the latest updates to our Facebook Poster, which improves posting images and videos to Facebook pages and groups.

Before, when you made a post to your Facebook, only one image (photo) was attached to it. Now, if there are several images associated with feed’s item, all of them will be attached to your Facebook post.

We are also able to upload your videos to Facebook pages and groups now. However, Facebook doesn’t allow attachment of several videos to the same post. And for now, if there are several videos associated with the same feed’s item, only one will be posted. 

Sometimes feeds have items containing both images and videos. Again, according to Facebook rules, we can’t attach images and videos together to the same post. In this case we will be creating two posts, one with all images attached, and another one with a single video. 

To activate this new option that allows to post images and videos, go to Advanced settings of your Facebook posting campaigns and activate “Use item’s images and videos” option.

After this update, you have almost full control over all main content elements that are posted to Facebook: item’s title, description, custom tags, custom text, item’s link and media content (images and videos). Here is an example of a Facebook post with all elements included:

Content Recycle

As you know, the main idea of RSS Ground posting services is gradual updates with unique content. Our posting campaigns functionality is built to ensure your blogs and social network accounts are constantly updated with fresh content. But sometimes, re-posting already posted content may have a rationale.

According to multiple requests, we have developed an option allowing re-posts – Content Recycling. It can be found and activated in your posting campaigns under Advance settings.

Another great feature is already there – Feeds Preview! The way it worked before, you had to generate your feed, go to Feeds Box to preview it to make sure it was OK, and if not, go back to editing.  Jumping back and forth.

Now every time you generate a new feed or edit an existing feed, you can use Preview button to check the quality and quantity of content in your feed. If you are not satisfied, just use different keyword or filters and then Preview again. And only when you are sure this is what you need, click on “Generate” button.

We have already announced the release of our own RSS ground plugin for WordPress. This plugin ensures the connection between RSS Ground and your blog. We recommend using this plugin even if you don’t have any problems with authentication of your blogs in posting campaigns.

The plugin was officially added to WordPress directory. You can search for “RSS Ground” to find and install the plugin.

This is the first release note in 2020. And we are glad to introduce a new feature for our automated content posters – CONTENT RECYCLING.

As you know, the main idea of RSS Ground posting services is gradual updates with unique content. Our posting campaigns functionality is built to ensure your blogs and social network accounts are constantly updated with fresh content. Once the feed’s item is posted it will never be posted again within the same posting campaign.

Content recycling will allow you to re-post content that was already posted.

Why and how

We have received numerous requests for this feature from affiliate marketers. They want to use this feature to post and re-post affiliate product offers to their blogs and social network pages. If you work with affiliate product feeds, it is a bit of different type of content marketing. And re-posting of already posted items repeatedly can be a useful function here.

Another use-case is when you have a static or not so often updated content feed. You can use “recycling” feature to re-post former posts just to keep your posting process alive until fresh content appears. And as soon as new items appear in your feed, they will be considered as priority for posting.

But we still recommend using this feature very carefully, particularly with posting to social networks. They don’t like duplicate content, especially when it is posted too often.

We have restricted “recycling” feature by the number of cycles. Same item cannot be re-posted more than 5 times.

You can find “Enable recycling” option in Advanced settings of your posting campaigns. Use checkmark to activate it, and then set a number of cycles.

We hope this new feature helps you with your automated posts to blogs and social networks. However, don’t forget, using fresh content for your posts is so much better! Fortunately, we have a whole arsenal of content feed generators as well as huge directory of public feeds, and more are coming!

Hashtag is not just a symbol of today’s pop culture, it’s a very important instrument of content optimization in social media. Each word with a pound or a hash sign (#) is automatically turned into a searchable link. This is how you link your post to a related content  and get into trending topics. And this is how you add value to your content and drive targeted traffic.

A lot of you, our users, have voted in our survey for advanced hashtags feature in RSS Ground automated posters.  And we have finally implemented it. So, right now instead of using same hashtags over and over again in each post  you can specify a pool of hashtags, and random hashtags from your pool will be added with each post.

Moreover, you can set a random number of hashtags to be used each time.

Facebook poster, Twitter Poster and WordPress Poster now have this advanced hashtags option.

Be careful with hashtags in Twitter poster. According to the Twitter Quality Policy, they don’t like it when you manipulate with hashtags and add the same hashtags in your tweets over and over again. Therefore earlier we had to restrict hashtags feature in Twitter Poster. With hashtags randomization, you can again start adding hashtags to your tweets.

We strongly recommend using a sufficient pool of hashtags to ensure their randomization in order to avoid penalties from Twitter.

If you already use hashtags in your automated posting campaigns and wish to keep everything the same, don’t worry, there is no need to reset them. You will notice a randomization setting for a number of hashtags = 10-10.

This will ensure your posting campaigns to work without any changes. But you can reset this option any way and any time you need.

Facebook Feeds and LinkedIn Poster are fixed

Because of the recent platform changes at Facebook and LinkedIn some of you may have faced a problem with generating Facebook Feeds and making posts to LinkedIn company pages. We have implemented all the needed updates and now Facebook Feeds and LinkedIn Poster are back to normal.

Don’t forget, Facebook and LinkedIn still use tokens to grant access to their platforms. Usually each token has a lifetime of 2 months and then expires. Every time your token expires, we send you a notification email. Don’t miss it, otherwise your Facebook feeds or LinkedIn posting campaigns will not function until you re-authenticate your user.

A new great feature was added to our service: feeds editing! In Feeds Box you can change feeds title, add or edit feed’s tags and, at last, edit feed’s settings.

Now you don’t have to generate a new feed to change your search settings, then go to your posting campaigns or content widgets and replace your feeds. Everything can be done with a help of feeds editing!

Feeds Box search has been also significantly improved.

Basic+ will let you use your Basic account with all the data intact on a regular basis for a nominal recurring fee of just $2.99 per year.

If Basic account users choose not to upgrade to any of the paid plans or sign up for Basic+ account, their data will be permanently removed after six months.

LinkedIn has finally re-approved our app!

After the recent LinkedIn platform updates and long-awaited app review LinkedIn Poster is back to its normal functionality.

You can now make posts not only to your personal LinkedIn feed but also to LinkedIn company pages again.

You need to go to your LinkedIn posting campaign, re-authenticate your LinkedIn user, grant our app all requested permissions and re-save your campaign.

If you have the same LinkedIn user in several campaigns you need to re-authenticate only once. Simply activate (if they were paused) your other posting campaigns to start making posts.

Some of you might have noticed that our Facebook Feeds generator can right now generate only RSS feeds of your own Facebook pages. Previously generated RSS feeds of Facebook pages for which you are lacking admin rights have stopped working as well.

If you use Facebook feeds in your posting campaigns they will also won’t be making any posts.

This happens because of the changes in the Facebook development platform and its developers’ API. Because of the changes, they required us to pass the review procedure all over again for all the apps including RSS Ground app to resume this functionality.

We have made all the needed modifications and applied for the Facebook review. Now everything depends on how quickly they will review and approve the app. However, based on our past experience this process might take some time.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing you but this situation is beyond our control. We are doing our best to resume Facebook feeds functionality as soon as possible.

Due to the recent changes in LinkedIn developers documentation and specifications, some of the remote LinkedIn account management options require a substantial update. For this reason and at this moment RSS Ground LinkedIn Poster can only make posts to your personal feed. Posting to specific company pages is not currently available.

However, our development team has undertaken all the necessary efforts and updated the functionality of the poster. Right now we are waiting for the approval from the LinkedIn review team. Since these changes have affected numerous apps and business, the approval process may take some time.

Instagram Feeds generator

One of the major projects in our development plan was a new content feeds generator. In June we have introduced a brand new Instagram Feeds tool.

With the help of this tool, you can generate self-updating content feeds with your own Instagram posts, posts of any other Instagram business user, or Instagram hashtag search results.

Basic version of Instagram Feeds generator is available to all membership levels, where full version is only available to Premium and Business users.

We have made a small but highly demanded update for the tables with your saved data (Feeds Box, Posting Campaigns and Content Widgets tables). Now all filters which you use to search your feeds, posting campaigns or content widgets will be automatically saved until you change them.

You don’t need to set filters or sorting each time you login any more.  Your recent filter settings will be restored automatically.

Another update to help manage your data, in this case private feeds in Feeds Box. Now you can use private feeds’ description in Feeds Box to see what keywords or other filters were used to generate those feeds.

In your Feeds Box, that information about the feed can be viewed by clicking on a arrow-down tick to expand feed’s description.

We have also added this info as a metadata to feed’s channel description.

We, in RSS Ground, always follow our users suggestions and ideas. We try to make the service to be in full compliance with your needs and requests.

We have launched users survey to find out what tools, options and features you wish to see next in RSS Ground. We have a long list of planned updates but we would like to know the order we should develop those in.

Now you can easily generate self-updating feeds with Instagram posts!

You will be able to generate feeds of your own Instagram accounts, feeds of other Instagram business accounts and even feeds of hashtag search results.

This new tool also has advanced filters so you could generate more targeted content feeds.

Before you start using Instagram Feeds, please make sure you have:

1. Instagram account.
2. Facebook account.

Note, Instagram feeds are private feeds. The number of private feeds you can generate is limited by your RSS Ground membership level.

We also want to draw your attention to the fact that access to Instagram Feeds will also vary depending on your membership level. Free Basic users will only be able to generate feeds of their own Instagram accounts. Plus users can generate all types of Instagram feeds, but won’t be able to use advanced filters. Premium and Business users will have full and unlimited access to the new Instagram Feeds tool.
