Session 11 concludes this week, remember the audio issues from last week? We’re picking back up with the audio recording of this session so we can assume some sort of combat occurred in the 1-2 hours lost and our group seems to be heading into Gracklstugh. As a reminder they’ve been doing quite a few little quests and are now starting to turn those in. Also, Kirito is still acting like Crow and he now has a giant egg in his possession. Kort has obtained some new boots so naturally some new boot goofin’ will be happening…once he’s attuned to them of course.

Everyone attempts to settle in at the local inn for the evening, room arrangements are discussed in detail and Crow puts on an enthralling performance in town to get himself some nice digs for the night and…”have a party” with an orc and a couple deep gnomes…. Anyway, the next morning finds everyone waking up and heading down to the tavern area to start the day. Kirito hangs back having been trying to hatch a dragon egg overnight, he reluctantly is talked into taking the egg to the dragon in town. Crow hold a mini-investigation of his own and lands himself a punch in the face. The session wraps up with Kirito having lost his egg but the group having a map to Blingdenstone and the knowledge that they face a dangerous journey ahead as they make one small step towards the surface and out of the Underdark.

Session 11 begins this episode! Fair warning, this one cuts off rather abruptly thanks to more audio issues where a big chunk of the middle has disappeared into the dimension…farewell dear audio, farewell.

Now down to what we do get to hear: we start with a recap which is pretty helpful since we lost 75% of the last session (the issues will work themselves out eventually–we were newbies back then!). Getting into the action, a face appears to be floating towards the group. Morrigan calls out in abyssal and the group receive an answer in their minds that sounds like they’re about to be devoured. Kirito charges forward and initiative is rolled. A strong start by our party is cut short with a huge bolt of lightning that does quite a bit of damage. Kort is knocked out and something is moving in his pants? Thankfully, Redbeard heals him back up and we learn that Kort had a piece of a large obelisk located in this room and it’s trying to reconnect.

A flash a light sweeps over the area and Kort has disappeared after touching the obelisk! Morrigan then touches it as well and we assume follows Kort where ever he is now. They awake in a familiar room that’s not too far from the others but as the party tries to regroup spiders chase them. Back together again our party finds themselves in a small tunnel with a light coming from the end in the distance…and this is where it cuts off–sorry!

Session 10 requires some extra explanation before listening: Something happened when it was originally recorded and caused us to loose the first 2-3 hours probably of the session. This week’s episode is all that’s left of session 10 which is about the last hour. To catch you up on what occurred between the end of last session and where this picks up, Jarenor was the first PC to perish in this campaign (and certainly not the last). If you remember, Aramil was knocked out and Kort & Turvy were trying to save the others while a mysterious light behind them scared the encroaching spiders. Turns out that light was…you guessed it, Lathander. Unknown to the others, Aramil made a deal with his God to save the others in exchange for his life so there’s PC death #2 for this campaign.

Other things happening before the recording picks up is the introduction of 2 new characters, a ranger named Morrigan played by Jared and Redbeard who is a druid played by Andy. These 2 were in a prison cell that our remaining group members freed and they’ve now joined the party. We pick up this episode in the midst of a cave bear fight so we get to see how these new characters hold their own with the others.

Once the bears are taken out, our new party tries to settle in for the night and nearly everyone has bad dreams thanks to Crow. The next morning, the party tries to figure out what to do and where to go next, Turvy wants to find Aramil, not knowing if he survived yet or not. Pressing on, the group move into a newly discovered area where a plant that’s also some sort of alarm starts screaming and leaving us with a cliff-hanger.

Question to leave you with this week: Does it pass the Bechdel test if Morrigan (a female ranger played by Jared) and Turvy (a female deep gnome played by Luke) talk to each other about something other than a man? My personal ruling–not a pass.

Session 9 is webbed up to a conclusion this week. As we last left Kirito, he was all alone, paralyzed and stable. Aramail hears him yell ouch before falling and tries to bring back Turvy before heading to save his BFF. Spiders are webbing up Kirito and trying to drag him away, Turvy is attacked but escapes unharmed. It’s starting to sound like Luke is displeased with how the party went about things this session…

Jarenor (from the grave) has a realization but too little too late there. Aramail calls forth Lathander with all his might but fails to land his attack on the spiders. Kort gathers the shrinking mushrooms so he and Turvy can help on the other side of the wall but by the time they arrive Crow & Aramail are also knocked out. As a badly hurt Kort and Turvy try to save the day, a light from behind them seemingly sears the spiders, sending them packing. The last 2 standing take the opportunity to drag the others back and out of the hole, leaving Aramail in the tunnel–unconscious and alone with only his god to save him. Very cold, Kort.

Session 9 takes a dire turn this week with Jarenor taking 2 javelin hits as soon as initiative is rolled and ends up unconscious very quickly. Shouting they can’t decipher is heard on the other side of the wall where a separated Crow & Kiritio can only peer through a hole in the wall, unable to rejoin the group without more shrinking mushrooms. Turvey tears things up while Jarenor is at 2 of 3 failed death saves, it’s not looking good but he tries to hang on.

Crow manages to finish off one of the enemies with just his vicious words shouted through the wall as the others try desperately to save Jarenor but every attempt fails…Death finally comes for one of our group members.

Things go from bad to worse as Kirito & Crow are still stuck until Aramail tries to get them mushrooms. Turvy’s luck runs out as she’s also knocked unconscious and Crow joins the fight. Before Kirito can make it into the room, he’s attacked and knocked unconscious, perhaps he was just too loud but seems to be stable–paralyzed but stable.

Session 9 flies by via arrow from Kirito and hits a large blob-like creature coming out of the water! While it is dispatched fairly easily, another gets the drop (literally) on Jarenor and manages to damage some weapons before getting taken out by the group. As the group is finally ready to move on, they have a decision to make: a door lies ahead but so do a couple other paths, include a small crack in the wall they can barely see into. Crow & Kirito decide to eat a mushroom to shrink them down and explore this semi-hidden path while the others stand watch. Madness hits the duo and Kirito becomes infatuated with Crow, but who isn’t at this point?

Jarenor’s suspicions grow as he tries to escape the remaining group members but Kort stops him. Taking advantage of those suspicions, Kort convinces Jarenor to check out a strange noise behind the door, Turvy & Aramail begrudgingly follow. Jarenor finds a room behind the door with many mushrooms, crates and copper piping, as he moves further into the room initiative has to be rolled.

Session 9 wakes up on the wrong side of the bedroll this week. As everyone is waking up to start the day Kort jolts awake and runs away in a panic, Crow wakes up very angry and runs into the lake nearby–confusion abounds. Kirito manages to stop Kort from running but Jarenor doesn’t fair as well trying to save Crow; Aramil’s thoughts and prayers during this ordeal don’t seem to help much.

Jarenor is suspicious of everyone. Crow is even more emotional than his normal emo self. Everyone is yelling as Turvy tries to quiet the party down so as to not attract unwanted attention. Aramail gives up and casts silence which works but too late…roll for initiative!

Session 8 concludes this week with our group continuing on and nearing exhaustion. Suddenly a swarm of spiders attacks! Kort has back to back crit misses and Turvy is knocked unconscious in a fight that’s ultimately not too exciting because no one’s had the chance to rest. With the spiders finally dispatched the group wants to find a place to rest but not here because more spiders lurk in the area. Crow goes invisible but surprising not to watch anyone in their rooms and instead scouts around and find a place to set up camp. He’s successful and the group finally settles down for the night but it’s not super restful as they experience nightmares thanks to Crow and madness grows in some.

Session 8 continues with some after-battle aftermath. A spirit emerges asking the group for help to allow his spirit to move on, offering a ring in exchange–just something else to add to their ever-growing task list. Kirito and Jarenor have…a spat? Let’s call it a spat that results in an….injury? Yes, indeed an injury that’s pretty severe, but I’m intentionally being vague.

Jarenor has a hard time letting things go and experiences a crisis of character. Aramil attempts to literally patch things up for Kirito but something tells me he’ll always be reminded of the events from today. Kort asks Aramil about removing curses…it’s probably not important. The group FINALLY moves on and comes upon none other than a dance troop. Everyone is acting very strange and under the influence of something called ‘The Lady’s Gift’. Stool isn’t feeling too confident but chooses to stay behind, being the penultimate NPC to separate from the party.

A mysterious rat creature that joined in the fray transforms back into…Turvy?!

Session 7 comes down to a cliffhanger of an ending this week! After making a deal with a dragon last time, they party is also given a job by the head priest as well (I hope they’re keeping track of all these tasks). With new gold badges, our group can traverse the city with much less trouble…that is until Crow is attacked out of nowhere!

In a new area they’ve never been to before, the party discovers some truly magic mushrooms. Kirito tries to convince everyone to eat then and is put in a jar. In a surprise to no one, there’s more in-fighting happening in our party as our players appear to be falling apart as the session nears the 6 hour mark. A blast from the past (if this campaign of 7 sessions can already have a past) presents himself causing Turvy to attack and leaving us hanging…until next week!

Session 7 presses on again this week (it was a long session!). Our party is presented with a job of delivering goods to a master alchemist in hopes of getting closer to being out of the Underdark. Heading through town they run into a Stone Giant that appears to be possessed by something and not in control, despite helping to subdue the giant without killing him the party is still shackled and seemingly under arrest. When things look bleak, a higher ranking guard or city official gets them off the hook and takes the party to his master…a dragon?! The dragon asks the group to spy on his priests in exchange for protection in the city, things keep getting more interesting with the more ‘jobs’ the party takes on.

Session 7 continues on this week as we learn Crow followed Kirito when he ran off earlier; Kirito ends up arrested but escapes with the help of a disguise kit that just so happens to belong to Crow. Back with the rest of the group we learn that gold from above ground has made its way to the Underdark which is a problem–in exchange for a map that could lead everyone home, the group is asked to investigate this situation.

While people watching in the marketplace, some odd behavior in the merchants is observed. Back at the inn, Kirito puts on his best Crow impression to try and earn some money, this is followed by a duet that no asked for. Turning in for the night has some grouping up into rooms but Aramil decides to sleep outdoors and ends up robbed.

Session 7 kicks off this week with a very special guest! We have Kyle who was the DM for our earlier campaigns coming in to play the NPC Fargus. We start with a recap and status update: our group is still traveling but getting close to the town of Gracklestugh. Upon docking a fight breaks out which is the exact opposite of keeping a low profile as they were instructed. After the fight our group heads over to meet with Ylesa but Kirito runs off. While making their way through town, we also discover a red dragon that is going around breathing fire into furnaces which seems odd? We wrap up this section as the party member who haven’t gotten separated go inside Ylesa’s.

Session 6 wraps up this week and we’re still on a boat. With the group now a few days away from their destination of Gracklestugh another battle at sea occurs and Luke is dismayed with how quickly the group is dispatching their foes. Later, Aramail’s actions whilst under the influence of madness catches up with him and even later still, aquatic trolls attack! Crow unleashes Hellish Rebuke on a troll and it does hella damage (sorry). People are getting knocked out left and right but somehow it all comes together in the end with loads of XP after an especially difficult fight.

Session 6 continues this week with the Koa-toa chanting a demon that has risen out of the water and a charisma check that leads some to madness. Crow makes a truly-madness-level move but is actually not currently afflicted by madness…

Anyway, a Demogorgon is on the loose in the underdark. We check in on NPC’s still remaining after an escape attempt to a nearby boat. After setting sail on some rough seas, a tentacled-monster attacks and the group is only halfway to their destination.

We end the episode with a demon rising from the water, some cliff hanger huh?

Session 5 is Kuo-Toa’d to it’s conclusion this week as our group arrives at the Dark Lake, a landmark very close to their current destination. As they pass, shapes start to rise our of the water; Shuushar attempts to speak to the creatures but an attack is made and more foes come forward. Thanks to Stool, both sides can communicate and the battle reaches an uneasy pause that ends just as quickly with Kirito trying to knock the Kuo-Toa unconscious. Many are knocked unconscious and 12 Kuo-Toa end up bound to stop the fighting. We then meet the Archpriest who asks for the groups help with his daughter who has taken over the minds of many back in the village, they agree to a deal where they are put forth as sacrifices for her in exchange to passage to the surface once the Archpriest strikes his own daughter down– A plan that sounds nearly as wild as the NPC names in this campaign.

Session 5 presses on and marks the first of many Crow songs, ‘I just died in 8 legs tonight’–it’s quite stirring. A warning about madness in the Underdark is given and in-fighting within our group beings (or continues?). Luke loses control and has to run a PC vs PC fight that isn’t really thrilling by any means. However, things take a turn when everyone is awoken in the night by a scream and body parts are discovered! Madness spreads through the group as NPC Turvy demands answers.

Session 4 tunnels its way to conclusion this week. The escape attempt is successful but not all the NPCs make it out. Shuushar navigates the group through the complex maze of tunnels, they are able to find mushroom to eat along the way (apologies to Stool). It will be a long journey to their destination and on the way Crow knocks a mysterious drow unconscious when he wakes Stool is able to help them communicate. The session comes to a close with the group coming out of one tunnel only to find a large chasm covered in webs.

Session 4 continues this week and someone makes a real jerk move. We learn of Neverlight Grove, the home of the mushrooms and Kirito learns the group is connected telepathically. Everyone is forced to do menial tasks and Raven finally tries to strangle Crow in his sleep. A plan is hatched to get out and kicks off rather quickly in chaotic fashion. Illvara & her guards catch on quickly and try to thwart the escape. Jarednor tries to save the day to Kort & Stool’s distaste.

Session 4 kicks off this week and it’s a doozy. In an unfamiliar location, the group tries to get their bearings. We meet Illvara who runs the prison and separate Kirito from the group. No one has any armor or weapons and magic isn’t working here. In her private chambers, Illvara takes an interest in Kirito’s heritage and Kirito has quite an experience. Aramil makes friends with the happiest prisoner and most of the group have very strange dreams that night.

Session 3 wraps up in this episode and begins with a séance. Jarednor goes into battle with no spell slots and Crow gets knocked out but everyone makes it out alive. Crow then celebrates by climbing into an empty coffin. Upon leaving the church Aramil has the sneaking feeling the group is being watched which turns out to be an ambush! Another fight begins and our very tired group can’t take much more; they are knocked unconscious and taken away to an unknown location.

Session 3 continues with some questionable content right up top followed by travelling and our group arriving at a church & cemetery. Kort tries an idea that leads to confrontation and a fight with cultists; a key is found in the aftermath and Crow feels right at home. Inside the church we find a large statue of Juiblex and see that it’s blocking a path downstairs. Some investigation, trial, and error get the statue moved and group push forward down the stairs and a lock for the found key is discovered.

Session 3 begins with a recap of last session and everyone really steps it up with their character voices. Crow gets heckled by his nemesis Raven who leads him and a couple others into a fight with a pretty beefy guy. We hear proof that Andy’s bad luck with dice rolls goes back years, we also learn that Crow may be a huge bully while his friends stand by and watch. Raven escapes the encounter alive but defeated.

Session 2 concludes as our group reaches the farm and begin investigating, symbols on a wall prove to be a puzzle most challenging. In a room with numerous portals, our Paladin makes some rash decisions. A party member gets knocked out but all make it through alive and well, but we learn later it was a close call!

Session 2 continues as our group is led to a magic well with a pregnant (or gregnant if you prefer) woman knocked unconscious nearby; they learn of an increase in werewolves in the area. Later on when resting up that evening, Crow hears a voice from his past and Jarednor tries to take a stand against a small town’s racism towards all non-human races.

We’re kicking off this campaign with the recording from Session 2 as our first session was lost to the ages (sorry!). Luke begins with a recap of the previous session and we dive in with a discussion on a supposed magic spring in the area. A spelling lesson is had on ‘scimitar’, bullies emerge early on, & Crow finds his voice.

#181 – …Oh No

Session 6, Part 3: As the dust settles from the Sahuagin fight, Wetz makes a difficult decision that all remaining Lizardfolk must relocate to Saltmarsh and a new leader must be choosen–but it cannot be him. The group with many more in tow travel back to Saltmarsh and Skipper sets up our new friends down in Crabber’s Cove.

With impeccable timing, bells can be heard throughout Saltmarsh; an execution is about to occur at the hands of Olander as he claims a man is guilty of conspiring with cultists and kills him in front of the gathering crowd. After Natas and Ashe give the council an update on the Lizardfolk and Sahuagin situation, Skipper barges in lamenting that he missed the execution…an execution the council knew nothing about! Speaking of Natas, a new political rival has come to town in his absence and is already playing dirty.

#180 – Betrayal The Size Of The Ocean(us)

Session 6, Part 2: While trying to get a full night of sleep our group is woken up by the sounds of stomping feet and the clashing of swords. A battle is raging between the Lizardfolk and the Sahuagin! Queen Othokent of the Lizardfolk and Oceanus are trying to push back the enemy as our group arrives on the scene and witness a stunning transformation that shakes them to their core.

Our group fight hard but some still get knocked unconscious as we try to save the Queen. As the battle draws to a close we find that our group may have made it out alive but the Lizardfolk were not as lucky. In the aftermath it is determined that if this Lizardfolk compound can be infiltrated, then the reach of the Sahuagin could be much further than originally thought.

#179 – Are We In A Hurry Or Not?

Session 6, Part 1: Session 6 finds our group split– Natas on the run from bullywugs and the rest hiding in a nearby swamp. An unknown ranger is seen who saves Natas’ life; Skipper makes the first contact and she joins us as we head back to the Lizardfolk encampment.

The group reconnect with the Queen to deliver both he head of the slayed alligator and her missing helm; she grows more confident in making an alliance with Saltmarsh and continues to make other alliances to help her take back their home. The Queen reveals she is keeping a few prisoners and we consider how we could transport one back to Saltmarsh as proof. Later a feast is had and a rematch between Ulf and the large Lizardfolk fighter takes place.

#178 – No Go!

Session 5, Part 3: The large alligator is dead! It gets beheaded and skinned very quickly; a pouch is found containing a pearl and a mysterious potion. A small group of bullywugs is heard nearby and Natas and Wetz try to chase them down. Only one is left standing and it is captured/threatened to take Natas to their camp as he searches for the queen’s helm.

The bullywug leads Natas to their camp, the rest of the group hangs back not wanting to participate in this plan. The interaction between a large group of bullywugs and Natas doesn’t go great and he ends up naked with his bag of holding taken away. Meanwhile, Skipper is itching to save the day and fight off an unknown number of bullywugs for Natas but is eventually convinced to keep cool. A quick escape by Natas leads the bullywugs on a chase where they come very close to discovering the rest of our group! As our session draws to a close a mysterious ranger fires 2 well-placed shots very close to Natas…

#177 – Anii Apologizes (on behalf of idiots)

Session 5, Part 2: Our group has their weapons left at the door as they are brought in to meet the queen of the Lizardfolk. An alliance with Saltmarsh is suggested and the queen seems receptive but wants to test the groups resolve–a nearby mutated alligator has been causing problems and the queen wants it gone and requests its head for her wall. She also mentions a missing helm from her throne room.

After we all learn where inspiration really comes from our group heads out to find and slay a gator. In a rather swampy area perception is rolled and initiative isn’t far behind. A swampy, mossy battle ensues! Anii gets a taste of bardic inspiration in the most uninspiring way possible while Wetz breaks the rules by attacking the alligator.

#176 – Anii is Not Amused

Session 5, Part 1: Our session begins at the Procan temple where a resurrection is about to take place. It’s a packed house as all gather to see if Nameless can be pulled back into the world of the living and it all comes down to one roll made by Eric. No spoilers here…

Later, Skipper shows the group his refurbished boat and christens it with a less-than-legal beverage followed by a night of, you guessed it, partying. The next morning Anii tries to rally the troops to make them hold true to their word to help Wetz. They eventually head out of Saltmarsh and arrive at the makeshift camp set up by Wetz’ village.

#175 – Anii is Nobody’s Girl!

Session 4, Part 3: Our group is tracking the pirate captain Snake, as we near the Dreadwoods we catch up to him riding Natas’ horse! Initiative is rolled and Anii does pretty well for being so far inland, Wetz also joins the battle and the captain is easily dispatched. With it getting late in the day we head back to Sam’s house for the night before heading to Saltmarsh in the morning.

While on watch Ashe is attacked by vampires and sounds the alarm! The vampires seem to want the heart box Natas has in his possession but are unsuccessful at obtaining it and the rest of the night is peaceful. We finish up our session back in Saltmarsh: a plan is set for our full party to accompany Wetz back to his village, Anii also investigates the endless Nadir and tries to get more intel from Wetz on what happened with the Sahuagin in his village. Back with the council, Natas & Ashe discuss who to bring back with Sam’s resurrection potion since it can no longer be used on him. A vote is cast and a decision is made–an attempt to resurrect Nameless will occur!

#174 – Anii’s Uncomfortable on Land

Session 4, Part 2: As everyone else prepares for yet another council party, Anii speaks to Welligar at the temple about the Orb she found. The serious power of the orb urges Anii to crash the party and retrieve it from Ashe…it’s awkward. As Natas announces his political asperations Anii heads back to the temple and with the help of Welligar they are able to shatter the orb and stop is from siphoning power from those with magic. It would appear while at the party Natas and some of the other council members were poisoned, suspicions arise as to who could have done this but thankfully antidotes are given and all are fine.

The next morning Natas, Ashe & Wetz meet up with Anii at the temple, having known her less than 24 hours they ask her what to do and then promptly do the opposite by heading back to Sam Broccoli’s abode. They discover the smuggler’s room has been destroyed and Sam’s body chopped up! Natas finds Sam’s purple resurrections potion, but no hope in bringing him back now. Anii learns Wetz is a ranger and Natas & Ashe set their sites on the captain that escaped them before. A bargain is made to Wetz: help track down the captain and our group will help his village.

#173 – Amphitritii Merren aka Anii

Session 4, Part 1: Our session begins with Natas & Ashe visiting the council where Natas learns of a seat opening up very soon. Word about town is that there’s a navigator at the Procan temple who speaks Draconic who could help speak to the captured Lizardfolk prisoner being held by our group. With little to no fanfare our first special guest is introduced and taken to meet the prisoner so I’ll give her the proper introduction she deserves here…Our very special guest this session is Lindsay! She’s playing Amphitritii Merren aka Anii the Gnome Sorcerer. Anii is in her prime and the age of 200 and is a worshiper at the Procan Temple; Anii is well known and respected in the town as a ship navigator, she is hired by ships to accompany them at sea and use her powers to shield the ships from bad weather or help them get where they’re going faster. A ship has never gone down on her watch and she does quite a bit to make Saltmarsh a better place; in this writer’s opinion she’s done far more for the town than the party-loving council members.

On our group’s ship we meet Wetz played by Eric this week, Anii struggles to speak to Wetz despite the fact they are speaking the same language. We learn of the Sahuagin, sea creatures that attacked the village where Wetz lives and hear of how he and the other Lizardfolk were sent to buy weapons to help protect what’s left of their population. While waiting around on the ship Anii hears a hum and finds a hidden compartment with a book and magic orb of mysterious origin.

#172 – Death on the Azure Sea

Session 3, Part 3: The battle on the sinking ship continues as Nameless escaped his underwater wizard battle in a cloud of octopus ink. On the deck of the ship however, another Nameless appears leading Ashe to make a quick and hopefully correct decision on who’s who. A room of Lizardfolk are discovered on the ship who want nothing to do with this fight and hide away while banging can be heard below deck. As the sinking ship is patched up enough to stop sinking, the group try to manage the fight and move an unconscious Skipper and some goods to their row boat. Nameless stays on the boat awaiting the rest to leave and return to town.

When the action on the boat has resolved the group ends up with more goods to take home and a captive Lizardfolk to question further. A shocking discovery is made back on the rowboat that leaves Skipper angry and confused and the rest of the heartless group uncaring and unbothered by what has occurred. They set sail back to Saltmarsh to pick up the pieces and decide what to do next.

#171 – No You Don’t

Session 3, Part 2: Our group return to the alchemist Sam Broccoli’s house where he has created a potion for them which allows 2 questions to be asked to someone who is dead; they really belabor how to use this potion but eventually use it somewhat successfully. Nameless creates an octopus familiar while Natas nearly blows the signal to have the smuggler’s ship return to the cove.

As the ship enters the cove Ulf manages to put a hole underneath the ship while Skipper commits murder via gravity. Combat begins and wages on for quite some time; Ashe nearly perishes, Skipper is knocked out, a Tiefling Wizard joins the battle all as the boat is sinking. Nameless finds himself in an underwater battle with the wizard and narrowly escapes with the help of an ink cloud from his octopus but the battle isn’t over yet!

#170 – Whose Name is Jonas?

Session 3, Part 1: With our group back in Saltmarsh they begin their day heading to the Council, on their way an explosion happens at the town jail. Ulf manages to save Zara from the rubble but she is knocked unconscious and taken to the temple for further care. As the rest of the group enter what’s left of the jail a floating glyph is seen in one of the rooms.

In discussions with the council Natas and Ashe learn that the cult has seemingly infiltrated the town. The council asks our group to investigate the smugglers and try to take them down, a plan is set for the following week when the smugglers ship is expected to return. We then learn what our group does in the downtime and when the week is up they prepare to return to the smuggler’s cove.

#169 – Word on the Sea

Session 2, Part 3: Skipper inspects the now empty ship that Sanderbelt tried to escape on, he finds crates filled with weapons all branded with King Scotty’s emblem but no heart of Sam Broccoli. Returning to Sam the group want to know if there’s a way to talk to Sanderbelt now that’s he’s dead; Sam uses his crystal ball to see where his heart is–it’s on a different ship called the Sea Ghost. A plan is made to return to the cove where Sanderbelt and his crew were loading up stolen goods the following week which lines up with the next date on Ulf’s list.

Looking out over the water as they sail back to Saltmarsh, the group see a large storm very far out known as the Endless Nadir. In the storm they see a massive tentacle raise up and slam down, despite being very far away the waves created by the monster at sea reach the ship. Docking back at Saltmarsh, the town council is updated on what has happened at Sam’s house. More party nonsense happens to wrap up the session and our group hit level 2!

#168 – Full Mount

Session 2, Part 2: Our episode begins with 2 paths in a cavern, one fully lit while the other is completely dark. In a poetic turn, they take the dark path which was the right choice as there are no dire consequences and they continue to press forward. Pressing forward a chase ensues! the chase ends in a supply room with people waiting on our group of heroes.

In fighting within the party is working against our group as nearly everyone is knocked unconscious at some point in the battle. Sanderbelt nearly escapes on a boat but in a last ditch effort he’s stopped and one of his workers are captured by our team. Turns are taken to intimidate the prisoner with varying success; Natas assures the prisoner they’ll be taken back to Saltmarsh to face judgement there.

#167 – Saving Sam

Session 2, Part 1: Upon meeting Sam Broccoli we find he’s in a bad situation, he needs his heart and a few other things like…his laundry? Oh, and also an expensive diamond. Not everyone is keen on helping Sam with the high cost and effort involved but the promise of a bag of holding is pretty enticing. A mysterious list falls from Ulf’s book, it contains dates and items with the next date coming up in a week.

While the party is split in the house, part of our group come across a strange man named Ned, he seems scared and needs help. Natas being the helpful guy he is does so in a really unusual way that leaves Skipper slightly confused but perhaps there’s more to Ned than meets the eye?

#166 – One Bone at a Time

Session 1, Part 3: Today’s episode kicks off with a battle in the basement of Sam Broccoli’s haunted house, when our group takes a prisoner to get information and cannot they kill the prisoner which brings forth another attack. Traveling deeper into the house the group finds a young adventurer dead and covered in worms, Skipper messes with them and now they have to fight worms.

With the worms dispatched, Ulf finds a book that piques his interest despite not being able to read; Nameless finds a spellbook of a wizard! Behind a closed door skeletons are found and yet another battle begins. A ghostly form appears to the group through the walls, it is the ghost of missing alchemist Sam Broccoli!

#165 – Badger Fight

Session 1, Part 2: Our group greets the day, fresh-faced and ready to head to the supposedly haunted house on the hill belonging to the alchemist Sam Broccoli. In a strange turn of events, upon reaching the house our team is attacked by badgers; in an even stranger turn, Ulf later befriends them.

The gang all enter the house in their own unique ways. Mysterious vials are found along with a trap door; Nameless detects Necromancy in the basement and suggests they head there. Descending the basement steps, our group is met by three archers ready and waiting to attack!

#164 – We’re Going to Change This Town

Session 1, Part 1: Our adventure begins with the hook from session 0 being reintroduced. Our group investigate the dead woman that washed ashore in Saltmarsh and discover she had been asking about the alchemist Sam Broccoli who hasn’t been seen in over a year. One of the council members asks our group to go investigate his house.

The night before setting out to the house of Sam Broccoli is a varied one for our characters, some decide to drink the night away while others look into this mystery a bit more. The intrepid few learn the dead woman and her sibling were looking for a philosopher’s stone and Sam Broccoli was/is in the Order of Alchemists. In the end, everyone somehow makes it to a bed of sorts to rest up for their first quest in the morning.

#163 – Ghosts of Saltmarsh Session 0

Today’s episode is session 0 of our newest campaign, so not into the story quite yet. You’ll get to know our players and listen in as they shape their new characters in the world of Saltmarsh, make connections with each other and roll for their stats.

You’ll also get to hear Luke provide a history of Saltmarsh, details on the areas in and around the town, along with highlighting some of the citizens that will be interacting with our players pretty regularly. Towards the end you’ll hear the hook to set up session 1 and get a lesson in ‘fridging’. Lindsay points out the lack of female representation (again); will it make a difference? Only time will tell…

Welcome to a new, somewhat mini-adventure! Vines of Wrath (VoW for short) is a multi-night campaign/side quest with a smaller group of all new adventurers, but are they up to the challenge?

Characters of this campaign include: XT-17 the Warforged Fighter played by Luke, Gooflin the Human Monk played by Eric, Yenni the Hexblood Druid played by Jordan, with Stephen helming the game.

#162 – VoW: The Coven’s Lair

*Warning: The audio this week is going to sound a bit worse than previous episodes. The final session was recorded on Roll20 but the recording failed so we had to use a backup recording, we tried to level it as best we could but there are some quieter and louder spots. Also, this recording is filled with lots of dings/bloops/pings from Stephen’s computer and the voice changer used in previous episodes doesn’t come through as well. Sorry for the quality but we’ll be back to normal with our Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign!

The finale is here and it begins with initiative being rolled! Villagers are being mind controlled and a few “hideous hags” step into our plane of existence (Side note: if the word ‘hag’ annoys you like it does me, buckle up friends!). The fight rages on but our group’s combat tactics are questionable. Gooflin gets knocked out but he won’t go down that easily; Yenni gets an interesting offer after one of the witches meets their demise…

The battle comes to an end and the campaign is resolved, is it a happy ending though? Make sure to listen all the way to the end or else you’ll miss the fate of XT’s young friend Johnny!

With the heart of the large tree in tow, the trio head back East but it’s not an easy trip. XT-17 confesses his programming is becoming faulty to the others but he’s still able to check out Stadby ahead of the group arriving to town. Gooflin finally see’s his original body restored to it’s usual self! However, the heart is needed for the power to complete the transfer so the situation feels like a double cross.

XT-17 makes a bold move when a discussion with Angela takes an odd turn. While Gooflin’s transfer is complete, XT’s vision fades to black and he wakes up in Gooflin’s old ant-body! There’s a lot of confusion with all the body swapping and tensions building to a final battle.

#160 – VoW: The Manifestation of Nature’s Wrath

*The Audio this week may sound a bit different than usual, this campaign was finished out on Roll20 so we weren’t using our normal equipment.

A massive tree can be seen in the distance, Gooflin discovers he is linked to the tree in his temporary body– but he was instructed to kill this tree to get his real body back?! The tree tries to make a deal but he wants the town of Stadby eliminated…which includes Johnny!

The group is given an ultimatum: side with the tree to get Gooflin a new-but-still-not-real body after decimating Stadby or kill the tree unknowing what power this could give to the witches of Stadby. Perhaps there’s a third option?

#159 – VoW: Are You The Entity?

*The Audio this week may sound a bit different than usual, this campaign was finished out on Roll20 so we weren’t using our normal equipment.

Moving West, our trio move from the jungle into a more swampy environment. They encounter some non-hostile plant entities and something strange happens to XT-17. When the dryad disappears and is later rediscovered it is not quite as friendly as before. Also, a massive swamp gollum appears!

Our group make a decision to continue to travel West and and run into a bug-like man who attacks Yenni. A gaping maw creature also emerges and Gooflin is attacked as well. This sounds bleak but it’s not the end, Gooflin attacks back with a vengeance!

#158 – VoW: Ant-i-body

Finally, Stadby! Gooflin’ is really hurting thanks to that unfortunate curse he inhaled. They are directed to an older woman in town named Angela who can help Gooflin with the help of the sister who protect the town; with a lock of hair a deal is made.

Gooflin falls unconscious and Angela brings out a replica of his body that he will inhabit while his real body heals, it’s weird but go with it. A commotion outside the town tavern reveals a familiar foe, combat begins again that ultimately leads our group westward in an effort to save the town.

#157 – VoW: Dark Mist & Will-o’-Wisp

Another huge boom can be heard and felt throughout the jungle, Yenni’s charm glows and the group only feel a slight breeze while everything else takes damage. Upon deciding to move a bit faster to get to Stadby, Gooflin meets and becomes friends with a T-rex!

Overnight while “sleeping”, XT sees a dark cloud with glowing red eyes, there’s no rest for the weary in this jungle. Gooflin inhales a curse that no one can really do anything about and is also abandoned by his new T-rex friend, it’s a rough day.

XT-17 calculates 32 hours to go before our trio reaches Stadby. Whilst travelling again, Yenni is convinced by more pixies to follow them…it’s a bad move.

#155 – VoW: Dad, What Was That?

A very large boom shakes the jungle, though it was far away from the group, they still feel the shockwave the the necrotic damage it dealt. It’s a rough blow for the non-humanoids travelling with the trio.

A long walk brings the group to a building that XT saw whilst survey the damage. When they approach a plant monster is revealed and combat begins!

#154 – VoW: My Crown Tingles

After their first full day of travel, our trio settle down for their first night in the jungle. A body hanging by its feet and wrapped in vines is discovered, once unwrapped they find a large thorn in the back of the dead body.

Meanwhile, Gooflin figures out the power of his new ring and quickly thereafter finds he can’t take it off. After surviving the night and heading out again, a symbol is discovered but no one seems to recognize it.

#153 – Vines of Wrath

The town of Stadby, a remote colony located a few days away has reports of undead creatures and “something else perhaps” in the nearby jungle. Plant-like monsters are attacking the town and our brave trio must investigate!

With their marching orders given, XT-17, Gooflin & Yenni head south towards Stadby. While trekking through the humid jungle a pixie appears, Gooflin finds a mysterious ring, & our team run into a group of suspicious men.

1. A familiar foe appears in a new area, provoking Squeeb to say an incantation he learned earlier.

#151 – Running, For Dramatic Effect

Highlights include:
1. Going further into the cave the rest of the group meet Tamsyn at a dome covered in eyes, still no sign of the big spider that escaped.
2. Powell pulls out a glass eye to investigate and a wall moves out of the way. A lock stops their path forward, Squeeb stops Ildahn from breaking it but Powell votes for breaking it and does so.
3. Behind a curtain reveals a dead portal along with a skeleton of what looks like an adventurer from a time long past.
4. Tamsyn inspects the out-of-commission portal and accidently brings it back up to full operating power…whoops! Another dimension is revealed, tentacles come out and attack Tamsyn–pulling her in!
5. As Tamsyn struggles with the tentacles, she can see the face of the monster getting close to the surface. She unleashes a list ditch shot to break the orb and shut down the portal once again!

#150 – Roll Save For Embarrassment

Highlights include:
1. Our party is finally reunited in front of an open trap door and Ildahn issues an apology.
2. Squeeb descends into the pit, webs cover everything and a body is found cocooned on the floor.
3. Squeeb feels a mental attack but gives a pretty casual warning to everyone. Initiative is rolled for a big spider fight.
4. Ildahn tries to save himself but falls unconscious. Powell saves him as the fight ends and Tamsyn finds a magic Goodberry in her bag to bring him back up immediately.
5. Tamsyn checks out a dome of eyes down the hall after their spider-foe escapes. After stabbing an eye, she takes some damage – not quite an eye for an eye but you get the idea.

#149 – Open Door Trap?

Highlights include:
1. More fights going on to kick off this episode, somehow Pello is still alive and with us.
2. This episode has a super annoying noise in the background–sorry to your ears, it’s the noises the monster makes but also sounds like a white board.
3. Powell gets dangerously close to death but Tamsyn saves him!
4. Soon after, Powell finally slays a foe! Combat is also finally over.
5. A statue with a small plaque that reads ‘Patron Orepod’ interests Tamsyn, as she touches the letters of the plaque they light up–it appears to be some kind of riddle…I love a puzzle.

#148 – Thanks For The Loot, Wusses

Highlights include:
1. The group is still mid-battle as we kick off this episode as Squeeb is still wandering the tunnels of this cave. You’d think he’d be able to find his way around a cave they practically just entered.
2. Ildahn breaks the 4th wall. The group sans-Squeeb hatch a plan to move about the cave together but it immediately gets foiled.
3. Powell makes a stellar Harry Potter reference.
4. Our adventurers finally find their missing member, only to lose another in the process.
5. Finally regrouped, the team have to decide between pressing forward in the cave or leaving. Pello pleads they keep going to find the villagers of Milton.

#147 – It Ate Me?!?!

Highlights include:
1. Septima checks in on the group in astral projection form and warns them they are now wanted in Zadia.
2. Arriving at a cave at the base of a mountain, Ildahn finds the walls are glowing.
3. The group collectively get headaches and woozy in the cave, a failed con save leads Squeeb to be all alone in a different tunnel (ha.)
4. Fear strikes everyone in the cave and their ability to attack is diminished.
5. Tentacles and sharp teeth appear and initiative is rolled! Ildahn gets eaten in a record time.

#146 – Milton In Flames

Highlights include:
1. Enjoy the attack on me for the first 30 seconds of this episode, thanks Stephen! (It’s never a good idea to make fun of the person writing out the highlights…)
2. We begin in the forest, no trace of Token, a dragon flying high in the sky above.
3. The group heads back to Milton as it is nearby, they find the town in flames upon arrival.
4. In town a group is seemingly looting what little remains of the town, these looters turn out to be one of the other guild groups. During a tense discussion they discover Pello… and he’s alive!
5. The group learns it wasn’t the dragon that attacked the town but a monster with tentacles. Pello struggles to remember what happened while Squeeb does nothing of note (pretty lame).

#145 – Billows (dramatically)

Highlights include:
1. We begin with our group on their way to the nearby town of Milton where Septima sent them
2. Tamsyn notices a dragon in the distance and finds Kobalds who demand what was stolen plus tribute to the dragon
3. Ildahn realizes why Token isn’t exactly beloved by the rest of the group
4. The dragon swoops in and attacks! She leaves quite a bit of damage in her wake
5. After warning Tamsyn again, she flies off but is not far

#144 – Casually Cruel

Highlights include:
1. The battle continues–Our group has dispersed from Tarts ‘R Us but are still under attack. Squeeb learns a new trick and Septima shows up to help the group escape
2. All the guards of Zadia flood the area as everyone slips away towards Septima’s hut where Silas is waiting
3. Septima informs the group that the worms have been genetically modified to make them undetectable once again
4. The receipt Squeeb took from the bakery leads Septima to believe this scheme may run much deeper than they thought
5. On their way back to Milton, the group run into good ol’ Wilbur once again and another woman who is dressed similarly to Powell before he turned dark and brooding

#143 – The Arms of Hadar

Highlights include:
1. Token sees guards approaching the shop, they quickly discover Jim’s body and question the group
2. The guards attempt to feed Powell a worm!
3. After a fight breaks out our group weighs killing the guards or knocking them unconscious
4. With more guards approaching the scene, everyone scatters but Ildahn stays behind to do away with the bugs
5. Squeeb & Tamsyn duck into a seemingly safe spot to evade the guards but end up in a weird encounter

#142 – Squeeb’s Free Dinner

Highlights include:
1. Luke laments over past encounters not going to plan and our group is on their way to Tarts ‘R Us to investigate the shop and its owner, Jim Swoosh
2. The Archmage of Zadia reappears throughout the town asking for the towns help to find the mysterious vigilante
3. Arriving at the shop the group finds it closed up when it should be open, sneaking in leads them to finding the vigilante standing over a dead Jim Swoosh!
4. Stephen earns a free dinner from Andy with all the crits he’s rolling
5. Squeeb is killing it today and discovers a lot of juicy intel under the bakery.

#141 – Weaponized Tarts

Highlights include:
1. Tamsyn & team learn more about Alicia’s plot to turn tarts into worm delivery devices
2. The group is starting to have suspicions about the guild and if they are involved in this worm/tart scheme
3. Everyone except Token heads to Septima’s first to get a sense if she’s involved and let her know how her mission really went. She asks the group to check out Tarts ‘R Us while she investigates the worm they brought back
4. Token finds the woman he saw before who is one of the other guild leaders and he…attacks? It’s a weird way to flirt and ultimately gets him knocked out.
5. The rest of the group check for Token in all his usual spots and finally find him. They hatch a plan to infiltrate the tart shop…Operation: Yeast & Desist.

#140 – Jim Swoosh?!

Highlights include:
1. The group finds a letter that reminds them of Tarts ‘R Us and they learn of a nefarious connection between the bakery and Alicia
2. We learn more of Ildahn’s background and the special powers he possesses
3. Goober the Goblin lives to see another day
4. The group returns back to the town of Zadia with a quick pitstop at Milton to check on how the town is recovering from their Giant battle
5. Squeeb finally uses his magic book and it has a dire warning for Milton

#139 – Mouth Full of Neck

Highlights include:
1. A confrontation occurs– Alicia wants our group of adventurers to join her and tosses out a grub
2. Initiative is rolled after Ildahn misses a mid-air shot
3. Alicia compels those with her in the room to attack and begins to chant
4. Squeeb is ruthlessly knocked unconscious!
5. As Alicia’s visage begins to fade in the midst of combat, Tamsyn restrains her and the battle continues!

#138 – Triple Kill!

Highlights include:
1. Apparently someone should be cutting out the session recaps from the podcast…whoops
2. Token continues to open doors at random to the groups dismay
3. Powell continues to drink blood…and no one seems to care
4. Squeeb comes through with an epic spell! Luke tosses his notes that were rendered useless!
5. Token later discovers Alicia in her disguise, she’s sees the group and entices them to join her.

#137 – Danger: Death Inside

Highlights include:
1. Ildahn finally puts his armor on! The party then regroups and tries to get a plan together, they decide to clear the last unchecked room to avoid any further ambushes here.
2. The final room finds a bubbling cauldron & 2 naked men who are cooking (sounds dangerous). Tamsyn inspects the men to find they had holes in the heads from bugs but no bugs remain. Action is taken.
3. Tamsyn reviews the books and papers she’s gathered thus far – the papers are again signed by Alicia!
4. Token checks ahead and finds some goblins tucked into their beds, their room also has a table pushed up against another door in the room with a warning over it. Plans change as Token opens the door unleashing zombies on the snoozing goblins.
5. With the goblins and then zombies dispatched, combat is once again over. Checking out the zombie room, a parchment with the charm spell is found but nothing else of value.

#136 – I Sense the Legs of His Presence

Highlights include:
1. Smoke/fog surrounds the group; Token, as usual, remains high as a kite.
2. Ildahn attempts surgery on the boy to remove the bug – he’s out of his depths here.
3. A monster unknown to all is attacking while a last ditch effort to kill the bug inside the boy is enacted. Yikes, yikes, yikes…not to spoil things but trigger-warning for the death of a child here folks.
4. Ildahn is dipped into a mysterious portal by the monster and is seemingly transported elsewhere, another dimension perhaps?
5. The monster struggles to pull the rest of its body through the portal until Token breaks a magic orb which cuts off the portal and sends blood shooting everywhere. Look, this is a gross episode ok?

#135 – My Gal Pal

Highlights include:
1. We start with goblin combat after a surprise round by our team.
2. They found the missing child– and bugs which is really gross.
3. We learn more about Tamsyn & Squeeb’s side activities.
4. Powell gets roughed up by wolves but Tamsyn’s heals him up because the battle isn’t quite done yet.
5. With the goblins and wolves finally dispatched, Ildahn runs to the crying boy to check on him.

#134 – Three Doors Down

Note from super-duper-podcast-producer Lindsay: We have a new PC at the table starting this week! Welcome Ildahn the Goliath Warlock being played by Jordan. There was also a pretty long hiatus between episode 133 & 134, due to Covid our group took about an 8 month break from the campaign so if it sounds like everyone forgot what they’re doing here…well you’d be correct. Enjoy getting back to the adventure with our group, as always I’ll be here alive and well holding your hand

Highlights include:
1. We begin this episode at a cave, showed to the group by Dawn. Squeeb sees a cave entrance ahead by 3 doors. Checking behind one door reveals a torture device, cage & blood everywhere with a man on a stretcher.
2. The mysterious man on the stretcher is a Goliath Warlock named Ildahn, he’s coming into the campaign badly hurt and without his gear…what a welcome.
3. Wolves are approaching the group but a well place hunting trap gets one. They smell the group but Token tries to lead them away by opening one of the other doors.
4. Powell has a new power to flex and he tries to discern if this new guy is good news or bad. Unfortunately with this spell it may not have been a good idea to do it inside a torture chamber.
5. Powell then gets to know Ildahn a bit more…intimately while Tamsyn finds and returns Ildahn’s belongings. She also finds some other interesting items that could be a bad omen.

#133 – Slappin’ Hands & Slappin’ Butts

Highlights include:
1. The group wake in the morning and discuss if they want to use the cubes on the Giant and a vote says no.
2. Bonecrusher the Giant emerges demanding his food and falls in one of the pit traps as the battle begins.
3. The Giant focuses attacks on Jayla but she’s holding her own.
4. The battle is done but what’s the outcome? No spoilers here.
5. Level up! Our players hit level 3 and Dawn leads the group to the cave where they were heading all along for their contract. She tells them all she knows and leaves them to enter on their own.

#132 – Jayla The Giant Slayer

Highlights include:
1. Token updates the group on what he saw up ahead – no sign of Jayla or Pelo but instead…sirens.
2. Our brave adventurers finally see a building in the distance with a woman sleeping in a hammock. Success!
3. The group meet Jayla and tell her of Milton’s Giant problem. She’s reluctant to help but agrees and leads everyone back to town using a different path to avoid the sirens.
4. Back at the first huge fallen tree the group see Pelo cocooned in the branches, he’s freaked out but thrilled that they found Jayla and brought her to town.
5. Powell tries to shoot a cross bow at a target and Luke can’t handle the results.

#131 – BANBANBO!!

Highlights include:
1. Roll for initiative! Token has inadvertently awoken a naga frozen in the ice pyramid.
2. The fight is tough as the group may not have much experience in these conditions. Squeeb gets frozen and Pelo tries to save him but instead has a really bad go of it.
3. Powell goes down and Tamsyn brings him back just in time.
4. Singing can be heard in the distance as the team bickers. Turns out this loud singer named Banbanbo imprisoned the creatures in ice. We learn the cave the group is seeking is nearby but our berry-obsessed singer is unwilling to guide them.
5. The group debates pressing forward to find Jayla or not as most are pretty hurt and Pelo is gone. They decide to take a short rest while Token scouts ahead.

#130 – There’s Like This Pyramid

Highlights include:
1. The group has limited time to address the Giant issue looming over Milton and go out in search of Jayla the Giant Slayer.
2. After coming to a large fallen tree covered in spider webs Token stealthily lights a fire, ridding their path of hidden spiders (and making a huge scene Luke set up quite uneventful).
3. Later, the group comes upon a narrow but fast river, they cautiously attempt to pass but their fellow journeyman Pelo makes it look easy.
4. Drying off from the river the group round a bend and find themselves looking at an ice pyramid! It’s surrounded by thorns and in the center of the ice is a glimmering blue speck.
5. Ask and you shall receive–Token wanted thrown onto the pyramid and Powell did just that. As he lands Token is almost absorbed into the pyramid and it seemingly disappears into

#129 – Eat My Sword!

Highlights include:
1. The group heads out toward Milton and hears screams ahead. A wagon has been run off the road by goblins.
2. Initiative is rolled! Worgs with goblins riders circle the wagon and attack a farmer as well as his wife and kids.
3. Approaching Milton, large Giant tracks can be seen that go into the village. In the inn we find the town in mid-argument about what to do. Comply with the Giant’s demands, kill the Giant, or flee their homes. They decide they must fight back.
4. Uh oh, Powell’s drunk but…he’s very accommodating when drunk. Who knew?
5. The group work with the town to prepare to slay a Giant.

#128 – You’re Tearing Me Apart, Token!

Highlights include:
1. After being split up while evading the dragon, the team find each other in the woods to regroup. Tamsyn questions Token on what he stole from the dragon, a choice that nearly killed the entire party.
2. The group heads back to town to meet with Septima and tells her of their findings. Apparently Alicia was an apprentice of Septima.
3. Powell is not good at math.
4. In town, holograms depicting the Archmage of the King pop up. A message to the townsfolk is given to ‘protect the kingdom as negotiations with the neighboring kingdom have failed’.
5. Silas the guild master reconnects to hear of his team’s first official mission and gives them their next contract from Septima– head to the town of Milton.

#127 – You Gonna Live Here?

Highlights include:
1. A large boom shakes the tower followed by silence and then a rumbling roar. Initiative is rolled in a battle against the goblins at the top of the tower.
2. Token nears death once again but makes a major comeback to deal the killing blow to Glubnose.
3. The dragon appears! She lets loose a breath of fire at the remaining goblins, killing them swiftly. Treasures fill the room but the group is warned to leave the treasure and leave this tower–They heed her warning.
4. The group heads downstairs quickly and tries to meet back up in the first room in the tower by the exit, Token is no where to be found.
5. Tamsyn and Squeeb run from the tower as they hear the dragon’s roars; Powell casually walks out? Seems like a weird time to try and prove your innocence to a dragon but logic prevails and he runs as well.

#126 – Do Not Go In

Highlights include:
1. A new room is discovered with a stone raven atop the door. The room is filled with holes that is very suspicious.
2. A fight breaks out that no one was ready for! The reason for the holes becomes very clear.
3. Tamsyn is not a fan of the nickname ‘Tammy’.
4. “You wanna fight dirty huh? I’m from the Underdark!” -Squeeb
5. In a moment of rest a goblin walks in surprising the group, they find that the golbin’s leader, Glubnose is upstairs. Time to avenge Squelch perhaps?

#125 – The Pot’s Been Stirred

Highlights include:
1. The dragon breathes on Squelch! Badly hurt, he crawls towards the group for help.
2. After fortifying the door they entered through the group proceed deeper into the tower.
3. Squeeb picks up a book titled “The Book of Wonderous Answers”. Loose papers he found nearby are a letter with orders to find and secure the tower. The letter is signed by…Alicia!
4. Token is too tempted in this new room and triggers the attack of a golem made from the stained glass in the room.
5. Tamsyn urges everyone to leave after shattering the golem. Token decides to quickly take a scroll and healing potion and narrowly avoids an explosion.

#124 – Leeroy Jenkins!

Highlights include:
1. While on night watch, an ominous roar is heard.
2. Tamsyn reveals the roar heard overnight was a fire dragon. Squelch goes pale as he describes how the goblins in the tower scared the dragon away but that probably wasn’t the case.
3. Squelch leads the group to a glade with large craters in the ground and a large, old tower with the door ripped off its hinges.
4. Tamsyn deduces that the dragon is likely a young one, she sees no sign of goblins outside and while it doesn’t seem like the dragon is here now, it’s probably very nearby.
5. Upon entering the tower and seeing some goblins we have a Leeroy-Jenkins-type situation occur.
