Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project. Individuals should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and working experience in WASH activities. Successful applicants will be&lt;br /&gt;

- Advanced degree in relevant field (MPH, MSc, PhD, etc.) or equivalent experience in field relating to WASH;&lt;br /&gt;
- At least 5 years progressive experience in activities related to WASH activities, with at least 3 years in development countries.&lt;br /&gt;
- Demonstrated experience in understanding of international WASH and diarrheal disease control policy and context;&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong English language skills including excellent presentation and writing skills;&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience and established reputation in the field of WASH programming.&lt;br /&gt;
- Proficiency with activities and studies related to WASH research.&lt;br /&gt;
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and the ability to perform and collaborate under challenging conditions.&lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to train and develop capacity in regional and country-level staff.&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong planning, community mobilization and inter-cultural communication skills required.&lt;br /&gt;

Qualifications and experience&lt;br /&gt;

The successful applicant will have professional experience in the field of financial administration (at least 2 years) - preferably within an international working environment - and excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft office). He/she will have good organisational skills and will be used to handling confidential issues. Eligible candidates will be able to work independently in a high-pressure environment. The Financial Assistant will be under an obligation of confidentiality. At the beginning of the appointment, he/she will sign a declaration to that effect.&lt;br /&gt;

Eligible candidates will be fluent in English and will have an excellent knowledge of Dutch. A working knowledge of French is an asset.&lt;br /&gt;

Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative, the Project Chief Technical Advisor and under the guidance and direct supervision of Project Manager/Operations Coordinator, the Office Manager provides the overall administration and execution of varied and inter-related operational and logistical activities in the FAO / GOI HPAI Control Programme office, ensuring high quality and functions effectively. Duties and Responsibilities&lt;br /&gt;

II. Functions / Key Results Expected&lt;br /&gt;
Summary of key functions:&lt;br /&gt;
1. To provide general support to administration, HR and operations, focusing on achievement of the following results.&lt;br /&gt;
a. Provides direct supervision to all administrative tasks in the FAO Deptan Project Office&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Prepares routine correspondence, faxes, memoranda and reports on administrative matters from oral instructions, previous correspondence or other available information sources in accordance with standard office procedures of UN FAO and Government of Indonesia&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Maintain a tracking system for all letters sent from the office.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Develop, implement and maintain a proper filing system for administrative records and documents for the FAO Deptan project office.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Ensure that appropriate administrative support is provided by the project to Ministry of Agriculture counterparts&lt;br /&gt;
b. Provides guidance/leadership in making office management system that is efficient and transparent&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Manage the Utility position, Office Clerk/O and Security Guard to ensure successful completion of their respective TORs.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Review and respond to all security related issues in the Deptan office and convey updates to FAOR and UNDSS.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Liaise to UNDSS in accordance with standard safety and security requirements of UN FAO Project Office.&lt;br /&gt;
c. Responsible for handling and managing the day-to-day operations and the human resources function of the FAO Deptan project office in close coordination with the HRD and Administration Division, including:&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Maintaining leave, staff movement sheet, travel, medical insurance claim of the staff members of the project&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Manage project personal data&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Ensure the implementation of HR system&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Assist with queries related to HR and personnel.&lt;br /&gt;
2. To ensure proper common services focusing on achievement of the following results&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Liaise to project staffs and their dependents by assisting and processing requests for Security Clearance, identity cards and other documents in accordance with requirements of the United Nations and Government of Indonesia&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Provide any travel authorization and/or logistic support to all Government of Indonesia which related to the project , experts/consultant and/or meeting participants&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Administrative support to organization of conferences, workshops, retreats;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; * Liaise with the Deptan Management Department on relevant administrative/office management issues.&lt;br /&gt;
