Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

10. Roman Reigns [-7]

Roman Reigns watched his latest lapdog Jacob Fatu deliver two Samoan Splashes to actor Eric Andre on Raw, with no challenger in sight for his World Heavyweight Championship.

9. Lola Vice & Kendal Grey [NR]

Before they battle for the NXT Women's Championship at Great American Bash, Lola Vice & Kendal Grey joined forces to beat Kelani Jordan & Zaria on Tuesday.

8. PENTA [-6]

PENTA didn't feature on this week's episode on Raw, as potential challengers for his Men's Intercontinental Championship vied for a title opportunity.

7. Sol Ruca [-6]

The Women's Intercontinental Champion was also conspicuously absent from Monday's Raw, with the Queen of the Ring tournament taking center stage.

6. Iyo Sky [NR]

Speaking of the Queen of the Ring, Iyo Sky punched her ticket for the final at Night of Champions with her victory against Raquel Rodriguez.

5. Oba Femi [NR]

Meanwhile in the first King of the Ring semi-final, Oba Femi overpowered Dominik Mysterio to earn his place in the tournament final.

4. Damian Priest & R-Truth [NR]

The WWE Tag Team Championships remain around the waists of Damian Priest & R-Truth thanks to their latest victory over The MFTs on SmackDown.

3. Jey Uso [+7]

Oba Femi's opponent for the King of the Ring crown will be Jey Uso, after The Bloodline's second-in-command overcame Je'Von Evans on SmackDown.

2. Liv Morgan [+7]

For the first-time ever, a World Champion will compete in the finals of a Queen or King of the Ring, as Women's World Champion Liv Morgan forced an injured Charlotte Flair to submit in SmackDown's main event.

1. Cody Rhodes [+3]

Cody Rhodes climbs to the top of the rankings after technically defending the WWE Men's Championship twice against Gunther on SmackDown. However, the circumstances make this a little contentious, as special guest referee did a fast count in the first match, then interfered to cause a DQ in the second.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Chad Gable - On Raw, Chad Gable "returned" to in-ring action with a victory over Rusev.

Tavion Heights - In a number one contender's match for the Men's North American Championship, Tavion Heights scored the win against Jackson Drake.

Izzi Dame - The latest Women's Speed Championship tournament kicked off with Izzi Dame beating Thea Hail on NXT.

Arianna Grace - The other match in the Women's Speed tournament saw Arianna Grace cradle Layla Diggs to advance.

Ricky Saints - The latest match in the Ricky Saints-Carmelo Hayes rivalry ended in a victory for Saints, earning him a shot at Trick Williams' Men's United States Championship.

WWE Night of Champions 2026 PPV Predictions & Spoilers of Results PLE

WWE Night of Champions 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on June 28, 2026. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the premium live event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

The following are my predictions for the 2026 WWE Night of Champions PPV. Check back for Night of Champions 2026 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

WWE Night of Champions 2026 Spoilers

King of the Ring Tournament Finals: Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso

I had gone into this tournament thinking it would be Bron Breakker on top, or maybe Seth Rollins, with Oba Femi as a big "what if" because of the Brock Lesnar situation. Now that we're down to this, as much as I don't like it, it feels like Lesnar is going to interfere, cost Femi, Uso will win, and we'll get Jey against Cody at SummerSlam. Blegh.

PREDICTION: Jey Uso wins.

Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals: Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan

This is stupid. Why is Morgan in the tournament? Why are we having Iyo against her here to set up another match between the two? "That's because Sky can win and then look like a big threat and they can say for weeks that she has a win over the champion and that that will mean she'll win at SummerSlam, only for Morgan to retain there and ha, we got you!" Yeah. I know. So just like WWE has been ignoring Morgan for her entire title reign so far, we might as well just skip to what, October?

PREDICTION: Iyo Sky wins.

Steel Cage Match: Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins

You know how WWE operates when it comes to steel cages. This won't keep The Vision out. But I do think this could be the end of this feud, maybe, depending on if they want to drag this out to SummerSlam. This feud has limped on both literally and figuratively. All of that buzz from WrestleMania last year and The Vision ended up turning into such a bust.

PREDICTION: If it is the end of the feud, Breakker wins with or without some extra help. If it's going to continue, Rollins wins.

Men's United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ricky Saints

While Ricky Saints is someone who would normally be a great pick to win this belt, I don't see that being the case right now in any fashion. Not only is Trick too popular to take the belt away from right now, but Saints isn't exactly being booked to be the guy right now. He's in the midcard, sure, but he's struggling a bit. He has less momentum on his side than Carmelo Hayes did for a solid year before winning the title. Realistically, Saints could win the belt and it wouldn't be the most absurd thing in history, but it would still be shocking to me.

PREDICTION: Trick Williams wins and retains the title.

Women's United States Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill

I guess those rumors are true that WWE wants to do Jade Cargill against Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam, which means I'm anticipating Cargill is winning this belt so that it can be on the line. Stratton said she doesn't need Chelsea Green's help, so Cargill will have B-Fab and Michin to help her out and Stratton will have no backup.

PREDICTION: Jade Cargill wins the title.

Triple Threat Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther vs Sami Zayn

I had thought they might stretch this out to SummerSlam to do this match. Nope! But hey, I'm not going to complain about them not dragging something out too long. This should be a fun match. I no longer think there's much of a chance the title changes hands, as I'm expecting Jey Uso to face Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam instead. It'll be interesting to see who Rhodes pins. If it is Gunther, I could still see another Zayn match happening at Saturday Night's Main Event.

PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes retains.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: June 19, 2026

Singles Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship with Sami Zayn as Special Guest Referee: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Gunther — Cody retained by pinfall after Zayn and Gunther had issues and Zayn made a point to help Gunther lose. Gunther was naturally upset after and took out Zayn. Cody came back to the ring to say they should restart the match, and we're on attempt #2 now. That next match ended in a disqualification after Zayn went after Gunther. Zayn accidentally hit Rhodes with the title belt
Jade Cargill challenged Tiffany Stratton to put her Women's United States Championship on the line against her.
More arguing with Gunther yelling at Nick Aldis that he wants another title shot for Night of Champions.
Jacob Fatu told Solo Sikoa that he's there to make sure nobody gets involved in Jey Uso's match, and to warn him that Roman Reigns is running out of time waiting for him. Tama Tonga asked what's up and Sikoa said not to worry about it. Tonga said he wants Sikoa to stay back. "Your family business is starting to mess with our family business. If you come out there, there's no telling who will come out." Talla Tonga said The Bloodline isn't their problem; the tag team titles are.
Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: R-Truth and Damian Priest (c) defeated MFT (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga) by pinfall due largely to an accidental distraction by Solo Sikoa, who came out anyway despite what they were talking about earlier. The tongans walked away from Sikoa after the match.
Sami Zayn was venting again to Johnny Gargano. Nick Aldis yelled at him for everything from earlier. Zayn said he called everything down the middle, and Rhodes should be thanking him. He didn't ask to be in the middle of all this, but he's here now, and he's not going away that easily.
No. 1 Contender's Match for the WWE United States Championship: Ricky Saints defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall due to an exposed turnbuckle. Saints has earned a title shot for Night of Champions.
Cody Rhodes suggested a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions as he wants to beat both Gunther and Sami Zayn.
Backstage: Danhausen now has The Miz and Kit Wilson hooked up to his cloning machine. Los Garza are upset that he didn't curse the Knicks. Matt Cardona said if they have a problem with Danhausen, they have a problem with him as well. When he touched The Miz, he got shocked and brought back the "woo woo woo" and "you know it" catchphrases.
Backstage: R-Truth and Finn Balor were speaking in the locker room. R-Truth says they just beat The Wild Samoans. Once you're Judgment Day, you're Judgment Day 4 life. Damian Priest rolled up and said he doesn't want to join in on the celebration because he doesn't go places with people he doesn't trust (Balor)
King of the Ring Semifinal Match: Jey Uso defeated Je'Von Evans by pinfall.
Backstage: Solo Sikoa told Jacob Fatu that since Roman sent Fatu to "get in his head and mess with his family", he's going to send the MFTs to Raw to do the same to Roman.
Next week, Giulia wants a match against Kiana James in London.
Backstage: Tiffany Stratton answered Jade Cargill's challenge for Night of Champions. Chelsea Green interrupted immediately to continue to try to get on Stratton's good side, but Tiffany pointed out how she's treated her the past year and said she doesn't need her help.
Lots of stuff you don't need to worry about. Just a bunch of grandstanding and all.
Jade Cargill and her crew attacked Charlotte Flair, so she's going into the match with Liv Morgan with a limp.

WWE RAW RESULTS: June 15, 2026

Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu started the show with a promo wherein Reigns put over Jimmy and Jey, then gave an ula fala of sorts to Fatu. There is still tension between Fatu and Jey in particular. Comedian Eric Andre was ringside and was beaten up by Fatu. Reigns originally stopped him, but then not only said go ahead, but also told him to give him a second splash.
Queen of the Ring Semifinal Match: IYO SKY defeated Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall.
Roxanne Perez promised to injure Charlotte Flair, essentially. Liv Morgan tried to flirt with Danhausen to get him to curse Oba Femi, but her charms didn't work on him at all.
Seth Rollins challenged Bron Breakker to a steel cage match for Night of Champions.
Backstage: Adam Pearce has given Lyra Valkyria and Bayley a tag team title shot for next week. LA Knight complained more about The Bloodline stuff going on.
In another backstage segment, Chad Gable said he has some other people he needs to apologize to. He then saw Maxxine Dupri talking to Austin Theory.
Chad Gable defeated Rusev by submission. Ethan Page jumped Gable from behind after the bell. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee ran out to make the save and send Page and Rusev into a retreat.
Backstage: The Usos asked what happened earlier. Roman said he called an audible and said they can't have in-fighting, as everyone on the outside hates them. Why hasn't anyone sorted out LA Knight? Jimmy volunteered to talk to him.
Bron Breakker accepted the challenge for the steel cage match.
Promo: LA Knight was in the ring to talk about The Usos and Jacob Fatu and all of that, leading to a fight between Knight and Jey, which spilled into Jimmy and Fatu getting involved.
Charlotte Flair defeated Roxanne Perez by submission.
The Vision (Austin Theory and Logan Paul) tried to recruit Je'Von Evans to join their ranks. This led to a match between Je'Von Evans vs Austin Theory. Evans beat Theory by disqualification after Bron Breakker speared him. The Street Profits came out and fought with The Vision.
Roman tells Jacob that he does understand him, and they set up "one more thing" for Fatu to do, but we can't hear what it is. Dun dun duunnnnn.

10. Jey Uso [NR]

The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments bookended this week's episodes of Raw and SmackDown. On the blue brand, Jey Uso showed that The Bloodline and his singles push simply will not die, as he advanced over Royce Keys, LA Knight and Finn Balor.

9. Liv Morgan [NR]

While it is ridiculous that the Women's World Champion is competing in a tournament to earn a title shot at her own belt, Liv Morgan did show why she's champ by defeating Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Chelsea Green on Raw.

8. Charlotte Flair [NR]

Liv Morgan's opponent in her Queen of the Ring semi-final will be Charlotte Flair after the multi-time champion overcame Jade Cargill, Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria in the SmackDown opener.

7. Je'Von Evans [NR]

Probably the most surprising result of the King of the Ring qualifiers, Je'Von Evans capitalized on some interference in his Raw main event against Seth Rollins, Ricky Saints and Talla Tonga to advance into a semi-final with Jey Uso.

6. Rhea Ripley [-3]

Rhea Ripley was absent from SmackDown this week, as reports of a knee injury picked up during the tour of Italy may put her WWE Women's Championship reign in jeopardy.

5. Zaria [NR]

After years of trying, Zaria finally holds gold in NXT. She captured the Women's North American Championship in Tuesday's main event, pinning Tatum Paxley.

4. Cody Rhodes [-2]

Before he battles Gunther once again for the WWE Men's Championship on next week's SmackDown, Cody Rhodes had an in-ring confrontation with Sami Zayn that ended in a pair of slaps.

3. Roman Reigns [-2]

With Jacob Fatu now firmly under his thumb, Roman Reigns is focused on restoring The Bloodline to its former glory, with Jey Uso chasing the King of the Ring crown and Fatu sent to bring Solo Sikoa back into the fold.

2. PENTA [+5]

Always the fighting champion, PENTA put his Men's Intercontinental Championship on the line on Raw against another iconic luchador in Rey Mysterio, and once again retained it.

1. Sol Ruca [+3]

Meanwhile the new Women's Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca had her first title defense on Raw, achieving a successful defense against Lyra Valkyria. However, she fell at the first hurdle in the Queen of the Ring tournament thanks to Charlotte Flair.

Fraxiom - In what has become an increasingly rare sight, Fraxiom won a tag team match on NXT against Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno.

NARAKU - The number one contender's match for Tony D'Angelo's NXT Men's Championship saw NARAKU overcome Mason Rook.

Kendal Grey - Tuesday also determined Lola Vice's next challenger for the NXT Women's Championship, with Kendal Grey defeating Kelani Jordan.

Rey Fenix - The AAA Cruiserweight Champion successfully defended his title on SmackDown over Axiom.

Michin & B-Fab - Stepping out from Jade Cargill's considerable shadow for a change, Michin & B-Fab picked up a win against Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green on SmackDown.

WWE NXT Great American Bash 2026 Spoilers and Predictions

Singles Match for the NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Jackson Drake or Tavion Heights

This is still TBD.

If it's Drake, he might win. If it's Heights, then Borne will retain.

PREDICTION: TBD

Singles Match for the NXT Women's Championship: Lola Vice (c) vs. Kendal Grey

Everyone is gushing over Kendal Grey. She's good, but I don't think she's immediately the most important person on the roster who needs to win every title and get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Calm down, everyone. She's still super new. You'll burn yourself out with your support and in no time, you'll be tired of her. Now is not the time for her to be champion, even if it will come at some point.

Frankly, I'm surprised she beat Kelani Jordan to win this title shot, to be honest, as I just assumed Vice would beat Jordan again and maybe pick up with Grey afterward. I guess it's the other way around? If that's the case, I think there's more of a chance Jordan wins the title from Vice, who moves up to the main roster eventually, while Grey might be a future Women's North American champion.

PREDICTION: Lola Vice retains.

Singles Match for the NXT Championship: Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Naraku

This is kind of tough to call. Part of me says they'll just give the belt directly to Naraku, but an even bigger part of me says they don't NEED to do that and can easily just have Naraku lose and respectfully move on. D'Angelo is cycling through opponents pretty quickly, and it wouldn't be shocking to me if he lost and then moved up to the main roster since he's been there for years, but I also don't think there's anything at all pointing toward him NEEDING to move up right now, either, just the same. So since there isn't a necessity to go one way or the other from my perspective, I'm just going to play it safe and say the champion retains.

PREDICTION: Tony D'Angelo wins.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: June 12, 2026

Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way Round 1 Match: Charlotte Flair defeated Lyra Valkyria, Jade Cargill and Sol Ruca by submission over Valkyria — A little botchy, but a pretty good match that you should maybe go out of your way to check out.
Backstage, Tiffany Stratton was interviewed by Cathy Kelley about why she ran out to help fight off B-Fab and Michin, who came over and were ready for a fight, but Chelsea Green was the immediate backup with a kendo stick to stop anything before it got started.
Also backstage, The Usos and Jacob Fatu chatted. Fatu wants to talk to Solo Sikoa. Jimmy is there to make sure nobody gets involved in Jey's KOTR 4-way.
Vignette: Blake Monroe
Backstage: Gunther told Nick Aldis that he is going to pick the referee for the match instead of Aldis, waiting until later to reveal it.
Interview: Finn Balor. R-Truth interrupted to welcome him back into The Judgment Day. Damian Priest meanwhile wasn't happy about Balor being there.
Brie Bella and Paige defeated Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) by pinfall.
Backstage, Sami Zayn was venting more to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, getting the idea (from Candice, but he thanked Johnny) to go confront Cody Rhodes once and for all.
Backstage, Los Garza asked Danhausen to re-curse the Knicks because they have a lot betting against them. Matt Cardona then asked Danhausen to do the opposite. Kit Wilson brought The Miz over, who has been stuck repeating his old catchphrases since being electrocuted. Then, Wilson also got electrocuted.
Promo: Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes argued
Backstage: Jacob Fatu told Solo Sikoa that he has a message from Roman Reigns about how it's been long enough and Sikoa needs to come home to The Bloodline. Sikoa wasn't having it, calling Fatu a lap dog, pointing out that Roman has embarrassed and humiliated Fatu, so no, he's not coming back, and Reigns can go to hell. "You tell Roman that if he wants me to come back home, then he can come and get me."
AAA Cruiserweight Championship Match: Rey Fenix defeated Axiom
GUNTHER told Nick Aldis that the special guest referee will be Sami Zayn.
Promo: Trick Williams and Lil Yachty were interrupted by both Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints
Solo Sikoa told Royce Keys that he doesn't have to fight alongside him, but he doesn't want to see him be a casualty in Roman's war.
Michin & B-Fab defeated Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green with some help from Jade Cargill
Backstage: Kiana James and Giulia argued over who used who. Giulia slapped her.
Backstage: Tama Tonga wished Finn Balor good luck in his Fatal 4-Way.
Backstage: Cody Rhodes told Nick Aldis that Sami Zayn is an emotional wreck and Zayn overheard it. More tension to tease that Zayn will screw Cody out of the belt next week.
Backstage (goddamn) interview with LA Knight where he said what he's been saying all along about how The Bloodline are just amassing more power. Yeah.

TKO Is Bleeding WWE Dry to Compensate for UFC's Failures, and Fans Are Supposed to Shut Up and Like It??

WWE is being squeezed for every dollar TKO can possibly wring out of it, and the fans are expected to pretend this is all normal because "that is how sports work." Ticket prices are obscene. Sponsorships are being jammed into everything. The ring, the announce desk, the tables, the graphics, the entrances, the match names, the premium live events, the fan experiences, the pre-shows, the press conferences, and the commentary itself all feel like they are up for sale...because they are.

This is not some natural evolution of WWE's future, but the company being bastardized into a cash machine to prop up the rest of TKO's sports-entertainment empire.

It is not that people suddenly discovered WWE is a business. Everyone knows WWE is a business. WWE has always had sponsors, merchandise, licensing deals, media rights agreements, and ridiculous corporate partnerships, but the TKO corporate structure has made the whole thing feel more aggressive, more centralized, and more willing to sell off every visible inch of the product. The difference now is that the business side is no longer sitting behind the product. It is standing in front of the product, waving a logo in your face, and telling you to stop complaining because other sports have even more advertising.

That attitude is exactly why this TKO era feels so gross.

When Mark Shapiro addressed criticism over WWE's increasing commercial integration during TKO's Q1 2026 investor call, he said WWE is "truly new to commercial integration and sponsorship" and that change would be "more glaring for some" as the company continues to commercially integrate. In other words: get used to it. The ads are not going away. They NEVER do. Can you think of any example of a company ever decreasing their prices without decreasing what they offer you, or toning down the number of advertisements they have once they break a certain threshold? The product is going to keep being carved up into sponsor-friendly pieces, and fans are supposed to accept that as progress.

That is not progress. That is a warning sign not even of what is to come, but what is already here. If you had any gullible hope that things won't get worse, just look at the PRIME logo in the middle of the ring. That sponsorship was supposed to be it, with promises that it wouldn't expand, only to very quickly turn into logos all over every aspect of the ring. They couldn't wait to jump into that next stage of it, they knew they would, and any smart fan saw the writing on the wall the moment it happened. Remember how cable had no ads because you paid for it? Then, it had commercials. Then, it had advertisements in the lower-third of the screen during the show itself. Then, those lower-thirds became bigger and bigger?

Look at what WWE has become under this mindset. The center of the ring mat has been sold and is no longer sacred. The barricades are covered. The LED boards are constantly pushing sponsors. Matches are "presented by" brands that have nothing to do with the story. The announce desk feels like another advertising surface. Prime Hydration gets prime placement ringside during every event for years.

Even a sponsorship like Slim Jim, which has long been tied to WWE, has gone overboard. These days, all the tables have that logo slapped on top of them, with WWE openly promoting the idea of Superstars "snapping" through branded tables. That is not subtle sponsorship. That is product placement stapled directly onto one of wrestling's most iconic weapons. Tables used to mean chaos. Now they mean brand activation. Someone crunching some numbers is saying "We need to have someone go through a table during this segment of the show in order to meet our quota" instead of one of the wrestlers thinking a table spot is the best thing for the match itself.

And it is not just the props. WWE has been pushing ticket prices into absurd territory, especially around WrestleMania. Premium experiences, VIP packages, travel packages, exclusive clubs, and luxury access have become a bigger and bigger part of the pitch. The regular fan is slowly being priced out while the company courts corporate clients, influencers, wealthy tourists, celebrities, and rich people who want to be seen at the cool event.

The most insulting example was WrestleMania 42, where Adam Weitsman was seated at the commentary desk during the WWE Women's Championship match. He appeared on the broadcast beside Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, had a headset, received a chyron, and then said nothing. Is that better than if he would have talked and ruined the match? Sure. But whether it was a paid package, a VIP favor, a sponsor-adjacent perk, or some other corporate arrangement, the optics were embarrassing. One of the most important matches on the show had some wealthy douchebag guilty of 86 felony counts of bank fraud randomly inserted into the commentary presentation like the broadcast itself was another luxury suite. Then again, considering WWE's embarrassing association with the deplorable MAGA cult and all of their disgusting politicians and exceedingly wealthy but morally bankrupt puppeteers, why should that be a surprise?

That is what WWE is selling now: access, proximity, branding, and status. The wrestling is still there, and there is arguably more talent on the roster than ever before, but it keeps having to share space with people and companies who bought their way into the frame.

Meanwhile, TKO gets to point at the numbers and act like fans are being unreasonable. The company's Q1 2026 report report showed revenue growth across WWE, UFC, and IMG. WWE revenue was up. UFC revenue was up. TKO is not some starving little operation. But the same report also listed $4.671 billion in gross debt as of March 31, 2026. That is the context fans should be paying attention to. This is not just WWE trying to make money. This is a debt-heavy corporate structure with every incentive to extract more, sell more, integrate more, and squeeze more out of every asset it controls.

And WWE is one of its best assets.

That is why it feels like WWE is overcompensating. Because it is. The company is not merely trying to be profitable. It is being pushed to become maximally profitable in every visible way possible. If that means uglier shows, worse fan experiences, more intrusive ads, more Saudi events, higher prices, branded weapons, sponsor-cluttered broadcasts, and rich-guy vanity cameos, then fans are expected to swallow it.

That brings us to UFC, which is the other half of this mess.

UFC is powerful. UFC is popular. UFC makes money. But UFC is also tied to an ugly political and cultural machine that WWE fans should not be thrilled to be associated with. The upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House is the perfect example. It is being staged on the South Lawn around Dictator-in-Charge Donald Trump's unfortunate 80th birthday and the America 250 branding, with Reuters reporting on the estimated $60 million cost, legal controversy, political symbolism, and Trump/TKO business optics surrounding the event.

Call it what it is: a MAGA spectacle wearing sports gloves. It's the type of over-the-top pseudo-masculine garbage that speaks to the fan base that thinks owning a big truck is going to compensate for their incel negativity. Hence the sponsorship with RAM trucks, by the way. Right on the nose with that one!

This is not just a fight card. It is pomp, propaganda, ego, access, and corporate sportswashing rolled into one grotesque photo op. The whole thing reeks of authoritarian pageantry: powerful and gross men using public symbolism, combat sports, patriotic branding, celebrity access, and media spectacle to glorify themselves. UFC should be ashamed to be attached to it, but Dana White's a jackass who will never have that kind of clarity. TKO should be ashamed to be attached to it, but all of those executives are clearly compromised as well. WWE fans should be embarrassed that the company they follow now shares a corporate roof with this kind of garbage, and it's a shame they have to put up with that in order to try to enjoy the product they have loved without all of that for decades.

MAGA politics have always thrived on cruelty, grievance, intimidation, and turning everything into a loyalty test. Attaching UFC to that movement so openly does not make the company look strong. It makes it look compromised. The White House is not supposed to be a branded combat-sports venue for a president's birthday flex to compensate for his incalculable inadequacies. Fans can escape into the grandiose nature of sports entertainment all they want, but these companies are not supposed to be a backdrop for a self-congratulatory tough-guy spectacle.

WWE and UFC are being packaged as sister properties in a sports-entertainment empire that is obsessed with spectacle, access, influence, and monetization. WWE is the cleaner, more advertiser-friendly machine. UFC is the louder, uglier, more politically useful machine (minus, of course, how WWE has just gotten worse with that and all the clips of Triple H involved with Trump specifically, let alone Linda McMahon's batshit A1 nonsense making a mockery of the Department of Education. Together, they give TKO a way to sell everything: family-friendly wrestling, violent combat sports, VIP access, international site fees, media rights, gambling-adjacent engagement, brand integrations, celebrity partnerships, and political proximity. Scummy.

That is why WWE's over-commercialization feels connected to UFC's White House circus. They are different symptoms of the same disease.

The modern TKO model is not just about putting on shows. It is about turning every part of fandom into an ecosystem. Fans do not simply watch anymore. They are nudged into prediction contests, fantasy booking, VIP packages, event travel, digital experiences, watch parties, brand activations, mobile games, social-media campaigns, collectibles, sponsored segments, betting-adjacent chatter, and online casinos. The audience becomes something to process, segment, monetize, and resell.

That is the real complaint. WWE is not just making money from wrestling. WWE is turning wrestling into a storefront for everything else.

And yes, fans should be angry about that. Fans who follow the WWE pay-per-view schedule and predictions on Smark Out Moment are not doing that because they want to track quarterly shareholder value. They are doing it because they care about the stories, the matches, the title changes, the surprises, the booking, and the wrestlers. They care about the product. TKO keeps acting like the product can absorb unlimited commercial abuse because wrestling fans are loyal enough to come back anyway.

That may be true in the short term. It is also an incredibly cynical way to treat your audience.

The worst part is that WWE does not need to be this tacky. The company can make money without making everything look sponsored to death. It can have advertisers without slapping brands onto every surface. It can offer premium experiences without making regular fans feel like peasants outside the castle. It can expand internationally without making every major event feel like a transaction with the highest bidder. It can grow as a business without making the show feel like a corporate hostage video.

But that requires restraint, and restraint is not what TKO is selling.

TKO is selling scale. TKO is selling growth. TKO is selling integration. TKO is selling synergy between WWE, UFC, IMG, On Location, sponsors, media partners, governments, celebrities, and anyone else willing to pay for proximity to the machine.

That may impress investors. It does not automatically make wrestling better.

That is the point WWE fans should not let them bury under buzzwords. The most profitable version of WWE is not necessarily the best version of WWE. The most sponsor-friendly version of WrestleMania is not necessarily the best WrestleMania. The most expensive ticket is not proof of the best fan experience. The most commercial integration is not proof of mainstream success. Sometimes it is just clutter. Sometimes it is just greed. Sometimes it is just a company testing how much ugliness fans will tolerate before they finally admit the product they love is being sold off one ad placement at a time.

TKO is bleeding WWE dry because WWE is too valuable not to exploit. UFC gets its White House spectacle. Executives get their investor-call talking points. Sponsors get their logos. Rich fans get their access. Politicians get their photo ops.

Wrestling fans? They get told to suck it up, "stop bringing politics into it" and just accept a sliding scale of more advertisements and less of their actual sports entertainment under the guise that that is the future.

If that is what the future has in store, why would anyone want to support the present and build that up?

WWE RAW RESULTS: June 8, 2026

Oba Femi opened the show to talk about Brock Lesnar. He was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who boasted that he's going to beat Femi in their King of the Ring match next week. JD McDonagh tried to attack Femi from behind with a steel chair, but it did maybe 1 HP in damage, and Femi wrecked them both, before saying that we know Rey Mysterio is Dirty Dom's father, but next week, he'll introduce him to his "daddy."
Seth Rollins promised to win the KOTR tournament and beat Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.
Queen of the Ring Tournament Round 1 Fatal 4-Way Match: Liv Morgan defeated Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and Chelsea Green
Chad Gable apologized to Penta, who told him if he really needs to make everything good with the luchadors, he needs to speak to Rey Mysterio.
Montez Ford and Seth Rollins chatted backstage about Angelo Dawkins when they were interrupted by The Usos and Jacob Fatu, who wanted to give the message about Jey Uso winning KOTR instead. Rollins took a shot at Jimmy not even being in the tournament and that his statement from earlier wasn't about "the family" but about Roman Reigns himself. "Maybe the best it will ever get for you is being bag boys for Roman." They told Fatu to get him, but Fatu just stared at Rollins and then walked away. Later, he clarified that he acknowledged Reigns, not The Usos.
Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall to retain her title.
Promo: Hey, if you didn't know from the last 40 times this happened, LA Knight said that he doesn't like what's going on with Adam Pearce or The Bloodline and Jey Uso got annoyed about it.
Backstage, Chad Gable apologized to both Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio. Rey told him that he should look back even further and realize the bad things he's done even before he put the El Grande Americano mask on.
Men's Intercontinental Championship Match: Penta (c) defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall to retain. After the match, Ethan Page and Rusev went on the attack. Dragon Lee tried to help Penta and Mysterio fight them off, but this ended with Rusev unmasking Rey. Chad Gable then had his hero moment to take out Page and Rusev and give the mask back to Rey.
Backstage, Roxanne Perez talked to Liv Morgan about how she wants Liv and Raquel Rodriguez to face each other in the finals so that The Judgment Day can't lose. Liv was quick to ignore this and divert her attention to Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.

10. Dominik Mysterio [NR]

Both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments kicked off this week with a series of Fatal Fourway qualifying matches. In SmackDown's main event, Dominik Mysterio secured his spot in the semi-finals with his win over Bron Breakker, Damian Priest and Trick Williams.

9. Iyo Sky [NR]

Meanwhile on Raw, Iyo Sky outlasted Giulia, Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend to continue her quest to become the new Queen of the Ring at Night of Champions.

8. Brock Lesnar [NR]

At Clash in Italy, Brock Lesnar got his win back against Oba Femi following his loss and supposed retirement at WrestleMania 42, setting the stage for a future rubber match.

7. PENTA [-6]

The Men's Intercontinental Champion tumbles down the rankings after PENTA failed to find victory in his King of the Ring qualifier against Oba Femi, Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes.

6. Seth Rollins [+3]

Seth Rollins's recent win streak continued in Raw's main event, as he took advantage of a title belt shot to pin Bron Breakker, avenging his loss from Backlash.

5. Tony D'Angelo [NR]

The NXT main event saw Tony D'Angelo extend his reign as NXT Men's Champion with his victory over Kam Hendrix. After this, he learned his next challenger would be one of either the newcomers NARAKU or Mason Rook.

4. Sol Ruca [NR]

After being denied a clean win over Becky Lynch at Saturday Night's Main Event, Sol Ruca made sure to get it right at Clash in Italy, beating The Man and taking the Women's Intercontinental Championship in the process.

3. Rhea Ripley [NR]

Rhea Ripley's successful title defense against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy seemingly ended the feud between these two for now over the WWE Women's Championship.

2. Cody Rhodes [+6]

Cody Rhodes retained the WWE Men's Championship over Gunther in the opener of Clash in Italy. But it wasn't without controversy, as Gunther's foot was under the ropes during the decisive pinfall, meaning a rematch will be coming soon.

1. Roman Reigns [+6]

Tribal Combat capped off the Clash in Italy show, as Roman Reigns withstood the challenge of Jacob Fatu, successfully defending his World Heavyweight Championship and adding Fatu to the latest iteration of the Bloodline stable.

Oba Femi - Although Oba Femi suffered his first loss on the main roster to Brock Lesnar at Clash in Italy, he bounced back with a win in his King of the Ring qualifier.

Lexis King - The Men's Speed Champion enjoyed a successful first title defense against Romeo Moreno on NXT.

Raquel Rodriguez - SmackDown's Queen of the Ring qualifier saw Raquel Rodriguez advance at the expense of Bayley, Jacy Jayne and Kiana James.

Talla Tonga - In a battle of the big men on SmackDown, Talla Tonga emerged the winner against Royce Keys.

Ricky Saints - The latest iteration of the Ricky Saints-Carmelo Hayes saga happened on SmackDown, with Saints the victor on this occasion.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: June 5, 2026

Gunther started out complaining about the finish from Clash in Italy. Cody Rhodes came out to say he's right about getting a rematch, saying they should just do it right then and there. Sami Zayn then interrupted to whine about how they both screwed him over. This led to a fight, where Gunther pulled Zayn into the way so Cody dove into Zayn instead, furthering the issues between Cody and Sami.
Backstage, The Miz was on a video call with Kit Wilson while investigating Danhausen's experiments, leading to The Miz getting electrocuted.
After the commercial break, Gunther yelled at Nick Aldis, threatening to get his legal team involved.
Queen of the Ring Tournament Round 1 Fatal 4-Way Match: Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bayley, Kiana James, and Jacy Jayne by pinfall on James. After the match, James lashed out against Giulia for her interference, so they broke up and fought with each other.
Zayn was looking for Johnny Gargano backstage so he could vent about his frustrations. Nick Aldis told Sami to stay out of the Gunther and Cody Rhodes business. Aldis then said he has something to do and can't talk to Sami, as he's about to talk to Chad Gable.
Talla Tonga defeated Royce Keys by pinfall. R-Truth ran out to try to make the save for Keys post-match.
The Judgment Day congratulated Raquel on her win. and reiterated the idea that Liv is more concerned with herself winning the QOTR tournament instead for some more tension.
Damian Priest is upset with R-Truth for trying to help Royce Keys earlier. The AAA tag team champions, War Raiders, came over to Truth to suggest they have a title match in the future for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Promo: Rhea Ripley's in-ring segment was interrupted by Charlotte Flair, followed by Tiffany Stratton, followed by Jade Cargill and her crew
Jade Cargill and Michin defeated Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair by pinfall (with Cargill pinning Stratton)
Fatal Influence were upset backstage over Jacy Jayne not advancing in the QOTR tournament. They then walked over to interrupt Brie Bella and Paige having a photoshoot and attacked them.
More of R-Truth talking to Royce Keys over the saaaaaame fuuuuucking talking points of "Keys and Priest don't trust each other" that we need to apparently hit on 3-4 times EVERY WEEK. Goddamn, SmackDown needs to go back to 2 hours so badly to cut down on this repeat problem.
Ricky Saints defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall.
Chelsea Green said that Tiffany Stratton should've had her ringside to help earlier and wanted Stratton to accompany her ringside for her upcoming match, but Stratton said no.
Vignette: Blake Monroe is still just "coming soon" with no set date announced
Lash Legend defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall.
More Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa crap.
Fraxiom spoke to Rey Fenix backstage. Chad Gable apologized to Fenix's face about the disrespect to the lucha culture.
Gunther wants to wait until next week to say a stipulation for his rematch with Cody Rhodes.
