Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

10. Bron Breakker [NR]

At Backlash, Bron Breakker competed in the match he likely would have had at WrestleMania against Seth Rollins, defeating his former Vision stablemate.

9. Tiffany Stratton [-6]

The Women's United States Champion only featured in a backstage interview on SmackDown, casually awaiting the next woman wanting a title shot.

8. Gunther [NR]

By inflicting a first singles defeat on Royce Keys in the SmackDown main event, Gunther earned the right to challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Men's Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.

7. Iyo Sky [NR]

Iyo Sky drew a line through her feud with Asuka at Backlash, beating her former friend one-on-one. She followed this up on Raw with a victory over Sol Ruca to push herself towards title contention.

6. Cody Rhodes [-4]

Cody Rhodes watched as Gunther and Royce Keys battled to become his next challenger, before launching a post-match attack on the victor Gunther.

5. Dominik Mysterio [NR]

On Raw, Dominik Mysterio completed a successful defense of his AAA Mega Championship against the Original El Grande Americano.

4. Oba Femi [+2]

Another week, another meaningless squash match victory for Oba Femi, this time beating both members of Los Garzas at once on their Raw debut.

3. Becky Lynch [-2]

The Women's Intercontinental Champion gloated backstage at Raw after Sol Ruca suffered a defeat against Iyo Sky.

2. Trick Williams [NR]

At Backlash, Trick Williams enjoyed a first successful defense of his Men's United States Championship over the former champ Sami Zayn. Williams then rocked up to SmackDown for another victory, this time pinning The Miz.

1. Roman Reigns [+4]

In the Backlash main event, Roman Reigns retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. However, a post-match assault and another attack on Raw means this rivalry is far from over.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Danhausen - In his PLE debut, Danhausen teamed with his mini clones to defeat The Miz & Kit Wilson.

Je'Von Evans - On Raw, Je'Von Evans beat Rusev in the latest battle of people in the Men's Intercontinental Championship scene.

Tatum Paxley & Lizzy Rain - The goth & glam pair of Tatum Paxley & Lizzy Rain was victorious against Zaria & Nikkita Lyons on NXT.

Kelani Jordan - NXT's main event saw Kelani Jordan secured a win over Kendal Grey in the pursuit of championship gold.

Carmelo Hayes - After some recent disappointments, Carmelo Hayes bounced back on SmackDown with a contentious victory over Ricky Saints.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: May 15, 2026

The show started with The Miz and Kit Wilson picking a fight with Trick Williams and Lil Yachty, leading to Williams beating Miz by pinfall.
Carmelo Hayes wants to win back the US title. Ricky Saints talked some trash, leading to a match for later, which Hayes won.
Rey Fenix was speaking to Nick Aldis about being back from AAA. Sami Zayn then talked to Aldis and tried to reposition himself for another US title shot. When he was denied, he flipped out, and Fenix told him he doesn't even recognize him anymore based on how he's acting lately. In another segment, Zayn was venting to Johnny Gargano, who perked up a bit after hearing Zayn talk about how nobody should stop you from being who you are and you shouldn't listen to anyone else.
Irresistible Forces want Brie Bella and Paige to retain their titles so they can beat them for them at Saturday Night's Main Event. Brie Bella and Paige beat Giulia and Kiana James by pinfall. Later, James and Giulia were arguing backstage, and Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green had a reaction to it, with Green still trying to convince Stratton to be her ally.
Elsewhere in the women's division, Jade Cargill will face Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair came out to do the blah blah and then beat B-Fab and Michin by disqualification after Cargill got involved. They realized they need Ripley to even the odds, and lo and behold, a six-woman tag team match is booked for SNME.
R-Truth still wasn't cleared to compete, and he agreed with Damian Priest that it was the right call for him to sit out last week, so he did the same tonight. Truth also tried to recruit Keys to the new version of The Judgment Day that he has with Priest. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa keeps wanting Keys to join the MFTs, and Tama Tonga keeps having his tension, and Shinsuke Nakamura keeps wanting to repeat the same stuff he keeps repeating, but Talla Tonga attacked him. Sikoa even threatened to send Talla Tonga after Keys if he didn't join the group, but...
Long story short on the Cody Rhodes and Gunther situation, Nick Aldis said that Gunther wasted his opportunity and would now have to earn it, since he didn't sign the contract last week. This led to Royce Keys trying to position himself as the next challenger instead, leading to a #1 contender's match for the main event, which Gunther won in part due to a distraction from Sikoa, wherein Keys threw a steel chair at him and in doing so, Gunther capitalized. However, Rhodes attacked Gunther from behind and laid him out with a Cross Rhodes.

AEW DYNAMITE: MAY 13, 2026

Renee Paquette tries to catch up with MJF backstage to ask about tonight's match between Darby Allin and Konosuke Takeshita. She reminds him that if Allin picks up the victory, MJF will be forced to face him at Double or Nothing with his hair on the line. MJF refuses to answer and storms off, walking past several staff members, including Christopher Daniels, Sonjay Dutt, John Silver and Tommaso Ciampa. Eventually, he crosses paths with Ricochet, who mocks him by saying he shouldn’t worry because he’d probably look good bald. But not as good as Ricochet himself.
The Young Bucks, Christian Cage, Adam Copeland, and Orange Cassidy defeated Tommaso Ciampa, FTR, and The War Dogs by pinfall.
A Death Riders training vignette featuring Will Ospreay airs.
A video package airs looking back at the chaotic history of Stadium Stampede matches. Chris Jericho says that this year’s battle at Double or Nothing will be “a violent dance with the devil… and bald.”
Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Westbrook by pinfall.
Justin Roberts enters the ring to introduce Kevin Knight, who is ready to defend his TNT Championship in an open challenge. The challenge is answered by Brian Cage who makes his return after months and appears accompanied by Lance Archer and RPG Vice.
AEW TNT Championship Match: Kevin Knight defeated Brian Cage by pinfall to retain.
Will Ospreay defeated Ace Austin by submission.
Andrade El Idolo walks into the scene proudly showing off his hair, which instantly causes MJF to panic and run off. Andrade then stares down Don Callis and makes it clear that the AEW World Championship will soon belong to him.
Hikaru Shida and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) defeated Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue) by Disqualification.
AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin defeated Konosuke Takeshita by pinfall to retain.
After the match, Darcby Allin takes the microphone and demands that MJF come out to sign the contract. MJF appears walking slowly. Allin signs the contract with a smile, while MJF examines the document before stepping back. MJF sits down and tells Allin that he seems angry, adding that he hopes he enjoyed holding "HIS" world title. He mentions feeling a bit sorry for Allin, as he assures that he will never have that belt again.

Harlem Lewis called Braxton Cole out to the ring to complain about how he lost the Triple Threat match and cost him the EVOLVE Championship. Cole came out with the two new security guards and spoke about how the whole industry is resting on his shoulders and he isn't a loser. He then scored a cheap shot on Lewis when the security held him back and ran off.
Tate Wilder gave Romeo Moreno a pep talk in the locker room about keeping his head up after his losses.
CJ Valor defeated It's Gal by pinfall.
Cappuccino Jones was shown talking on the phone to someone about how everything is going to boil over soon.
Gianna Capri was angry at Anya Rune for losing their tag team match. Veronica Haven tried to defend Rune and talk about how they're in EVOLVE to grow and to prove themselves. Rune then said she'll ask Timothy Thatcher for a match against Layla Diggs to force Capri to notice her.

WWE BACKLASH 2026 RESULTS:

Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins by pinfall.

Good enough match, but it obviously doesn't hit in the way that it would have if this would have been at WrestleMania and been a bigger deal.

Singles Match for the WWE Men's United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) retained over Sami Zayn by pinfall.

I'm not super big on Lil Yachty being involved in all of this, and I think WWE could have handled this story so much better than the whole Gingerbread Man thing happened, but I'm glad Trick retained and I liked the match enough. This is a case of a segment doing its job, but not some A+ MOTY material. IE, good, but nothing special.

Danhausen and Minihausen defeated The Miz and Kit Wilson by pinfall.

Is the whole Minihausen stuff going to be a regular thing going forward? 2026 is so weird.

Iyo Sky defeated Asuka by pinfall.

This would have actually mattered if Kairi Sane was involved and if it had taken place at WrestleMania instead of just being a Monday Night Raw match to end a feud without the central figure in the feud. Good match with poor execution of the angle. Good moment after the match where they got emotional, but I'm not sure it makes any sense for what's next, depending on what that might be.

John Cena's announcement was an incredibly vague, detail-free announcement that there will at some point be in some fashion something called The John Cena Classic which will I guess be a tournament, but they didn't say whether or not it is, and it will involve a championship that we didn't see, with rules that we don't know about, with people who we don't know will be involved, and you don't need to win your matches in order to win this championship, which will be a yearly thing, so it isn't an actual championship. What the hell?
Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) retained over Jacob Fatu by pinfall.

Fine enough match, but this is clearly not over. I'm not sure I'm a fan of Fatu attacking Roman and the officials after the match if that ends up meaning a heel turn, as I think Fatu should stay a face.

Royce Keys continued his winning streak since being unleashed on the main roster, this week beating Tama Tonga on SmackDown.

9. PENTA [-4]

The Men's Intercontinental Champion tumbles down the rankings after PENTA & Je'Von Evans fell to defeat against Ethan Page & Rusev on Raw.

8. Tony D'Angelo [NR]

Tony D'Angelo has had a target on his back ever since capturing the NXT Men's Championship. After he beat Tavion Heights in this week's main event, he was attacked once again by the newcomer Mason Rook.

7. Fatal Influence [NR]

The trio of Fatal Influence has quickly made an impression since joining the SmackDown roster. This week, they got the better of the veteran team of Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss in a Six-Woman Tag.

6. Oba Femi [+2]

The Oba Femi Open Challenge charged on during Raw, with Femi extending his undefeated streak with a victory over Otis.

5. Roman Reigns [-1]

Roman Reigns signed the contract for his World Heavyweight Championship match with Jacob Fatu at Backlash. And, as is tradition, Reigns ended the segment slammed through the contract table gasping for air.

4. Rhea Ripley [-1]

Rhea Ripley joined Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss in an uneasy alliance, but suffered a loss to the more harmonious unit of Fatal Influence. After the match, Ripley's team was beaten down by Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab.

3. Tiffany Stratton [NR]

In her first defense of her Women's United States Championship, Tiffany Stratton survived the challenge of Kiana James on SmackDown.

2. Cody Rhodes [No Change]

Cody Rhodes welcomed the challenge of Gunther for the WWE Men's Championship, clocking the Ring General with a microphone and tossing him from the ring in this week's segment.

1. Becky Lynch [No Change]

Becky Lynch encountered the latest threat to her Women's Intercontinental Championship on Raw in the form of Sol Ruca, and ate the worst Sol Snatcher in history for her troubles.

JD McDonagh - Thanks to some help from The Judgment Day at ringside, JD McDonagh beat his mentor Finn Balor on Raw.

Kali Armstrong - One of the NXT newcomers, Kali Armstrong made her mark with a win over the established Jaida Parker.

The Culling - The pair of Izzi Dame & Niko Vance earned a victory against Lola Vice & Mr Iguana on NXT, setting Dame up for a potential title match.

Talla Tonga - The giant of the recently reduced MFTs defeated one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Damian Priest, on SmackDown.

Ricky Saints - After his unsuccessful debut against Cody Rhodes, Ricky Saints scored his first SmackDown win this week against Matt Cardona.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: May 8, 2026

Promo: Jacob Fatu repeated all the same stuff about how he's going to beat Roman Reigns at Backlash. The Usos repeated all the same stuff about how he's going to lose. Fatu said again how he's going to win (if you didn't catch it the last 5 times) because WWE just copies and pastes. The only real thing to mention is that Fatu said if they interfere, he's going to tear the whole family tree down.
Royce Keys gave Jacob Fatu a pep talk backstage. Solo Sikoa then reminded Keys that there is room in his family for him, but he needs an answer soon.
WWE Women's United States Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) retained over Kiana James by pinfall.
Sami Zayn complained about the Gingerbread Man funeral, annoyed that this is even happening. R-Truth handed him a rose and said he's sorry for his loss and can see the family resemblance.
Damian Priest doesn't want R-Truth to be ringside for his match against Talla Tonga because Truth isn't 100%.
Talla Tonga defeated Damian Priest by pinfall. R-Truth had come out to try to help and it ended up being a distraction for Priest. [So when is Priest going to turn heel after they lose their tag titles, eh?] MFTs were ready to pounce on Priest and Truth until Royce Keys came out, so they backed away.
Backstage: The Miz and Kit Wilson bullied Danhausen a bit about how he won't get a tag team partner for Backlash since he has no friends. Wilson said the only person toxic enough to team with Danhausen is Danhausen himself, which Danhausen thought was a great idea and then ran off.
With Paul Heyman's help negotiating with Nick Aldis in his office, Gunther has joined the SmackDown brand. Cody Rhodes interrupted by going to the ring, which upset Gunther. Heyman came out to say that his favor to Gunther was to orchestrate a title shot between The Ring General and The American Nightmare for Clash in Italy. Rhodes said that everyone is leaving Heyman, who said the alternative, that "sooner or later, they all need The Wise Man." Gunther then went on the attack, but Rhodes was able to fight him off.
Tama Tonga thinks Royce Keys needs to be taken care of.
Ricky Saints defeated Matt Cardona by pinfall.
Johnny Gargano moved for a second when Sami Zayn asked him if Johnny Wrestling agreed with him about how ridiculous the Gingerbread Man funeral is. Candice LeRae said that's what he does, but he doesn't actually move. Zayn then got upset over Rey Fenix going along with this sham.
Promo: Paige and Brie Bella spoke about how they're the best they've ever been right now (sure they are) and that they aren't a nostalgia tour like The Judgment Day says. Whoever wants to step up, they are the champions and this is their house. Fatal Influence interrupted to talk about how their takeover of SmackDown includes how they're going to win the tag team titles. The Irresistible Forces then also came out to say Fatal Influence needs to go to the back of the line before laying out Brie and Paige.
Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) defeated Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair by pinfall due to interference from Jade Cargill. Michin and B-Fab joined the post-match fight to beat up Flair and Bliss as well.
Backstage, The Usos warned Royce Keys to stay in his lane or Roman Reigns might come after him.
Royce Keys defeated Tama Tonga by pinfall.
Danhausen has set up a cloning machine, but it isn't working right.
Shinsuke Nakamura is disappointed in Tama Tonga still being in the MFTs. Talla Tonga threatened Nakamura to stay away or he'll have some problems.
The last segment of the funeral of the gingerbread man was an in-ring casket and choir segment that Sami Zayn interrupted to complain about. The Gingerbread Man then rose up in the casket and unmasked as Lil Yacthy, who attacked Zayn with a candy cane.

WWE EVOLVE RESULTS: May 6, 2026

Max Abrams, Jacari Ball, and Santi Rivera picked up a win over Cappuccino Jones, Chazz "Starboy" Hall, and Romeo Moreno in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. The finish came after It's Gal attempted to assist the babyfaces but was escorted away by Timothy Thatcher's new security team, creating a distraction that Abrams used to secure the pinfall.
Backstage, Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs interrupted Karmen Petrovic during a workout session and exchanged words with her. Petrovic responded by saying she would face either of them next week.
Aaron Rourke delivered an in-ring promo, comparing himself to a diamond because he is forged through pressure and performs under it. As he addressed his next title defense, Kam Hendrix interrupted, followed by Harley Riggins, Brooks Jensen, Tristan Angels, Dorian Van Dux, and finally Tate Wilder, leading to a chaotic brawl. Timothy Thatcher then announced a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 contender, notably excluding both Wilder and Riggins. The situation then transitioned into an impromptu singles match between the two.
Tate Wilder defeated Harley Riggins by pinfall. Kam Hendrix attacked Wilder after the match
The WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship Match between Wendy Choo and Laynie Luck ended in a no-contest after Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs interfered and attacked both competitors.

WWE RAW RESULTS: May 4, 2026

Bron Breakker attacked Seth Rollins to start the show.
JD McDonagh defeated Finn Balor by pinfall. Roxanne Perez proved her loyalty to The Judgment Day (which was questioned by Liv Morgan before the match) by hitting Balor with the ring bell hammer.
Ethan Page and Rusev defeated Je'Von Evans and Penta by pinfall.
Sol Ruca's Raw contract signing was immediately interrupted by Becky Lynch, who eventually punched Adam Pearce in the face accidentally when Ruca moved out of the way. Ruca then botched her Sol Snatcher finisher to take out Becky.
Joe Hendry defeated Austin Theory by disqualification after Logan Paul attacked Hendry until The Street Profits helped out again to go after the tag team champions. Bron Breakker took them out next and Seth Rollins went after Breakker after that, but Breakker was able to spear him to end the segment standing tall.
Jackie Redmond asked what the next goal is for The Judgment Day, who revealed that Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will be going after Brie Bella and Paige to try to win the women's tag team titles. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria interrupted the interview to talk some trash about how The Judgment Day can't win without cheating.
Oba Femi Open Challenge: Oba Femi defeated Otis by pinfall.
Iyo Sky and Asuka had a face-to-face backstage pre-taped promo. Sky said Asuka changed. Asuka called her disrespectful and spit the mist in her face.
Six-Man Tag Team Match: Los Americanos Hermanos and Original El Grande Americano defeated Los Americanos and El Grande Americano by pinfall.
Contract Signing: Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. You know how those end. Fatu put Reigns in the Tongan Death Grip and slammed him into the table, which didn't break.

WWE Fantasy League 2026-2027 Season

Welcome to your source for tracking the 2026-2027 season of the WWE Fantasy League here at Smark Out Moment!

Who doesn't enjoy some friendly competition? Tony Mango, Callum Wiggins and Robert DeFelice are looking to battle their way to victory in the return of the WWE Fantasy League.

Think of this as any typical Fantasy League – every player is looking to pick the team of WWE superstars that will earn them the most points between Backlash 2026 and WrestleMania 43, with points earned for appearances, victories and championship successes.

With 3 teams drafted from across the Raw, SmackDown and NXT rosters, points will be won and lost on the journey to crowning this season's champion, and to secure bragging rights among the Smack Talk crew.

THE RULES

These are the rules we will abide by for this season of the Fantasy League relating to how the teams are drafted, how trades are made, and how points are scored. If you're keen on creating your own Fantasy League among friends, feel free to use our rules as your guide.

LEAGUE / DRAFT / TRADE RULES

Teams are drafted from across the entirety of the Raw, SmackDown and NXT rosters
Each competitor will select 10 superstars from the available rosters in a snake-style draft
The first 3 picks of each team are 100% protected, and cannot be removed unless the player themself chooses to remove them – in this instance, they can designate another superstar to be a protected pick
Both male and female superstars are eligible
Tag teams, factions and stables are NOT drafted as units – each superstar must be picked individually
Points are only scored for results on PLEs and episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT – anything that happens on Main Event, Evolve, AAA, etc. doesn't count
Between every PPV competitors can make a maximum of 3 trades to their teams. These trades will be discussed and made on episodes of the Hot Tags. The newly drafted superstar's point scoring taking effect the week after they are drafted (i.e. if someone makes a trade during Week 5, the new superstar will begin scoring points on Week 6).
The first weeks after SummerSlam and Royal Rumble, each competitor will add 1 more superstar to their roster, with first pick going to the person in last place, and the final pick to the person in first place. This is this season's catch-up mechanic or "blue shell".

To add a bit more jeopardy into the mix, there are also special rules based on our success in every PLE predictions contest. Whoever wins the most recent PLE Prediction Contest gains the following benefits:

They earn 20 additional points to their score
They can double to points of one team member until the next PLE
They get first option to make trades at the weekly intervals

CURSE CARDS

In honor of Danhausen, each player will be gifted 3 Curse Cards that they may use throughout the season. Each card is one use only, so use them wisely...

The Curse of Trade: The player can force a trade of one of their team members for another player's team members. Whoever they trade for becomes a new protected pick for their team.
The Curse of Weakening: The player can cause both of their opponents to score half points for the week this is activated.
The Curse of Injustice: The player adds one extra person to their roster for 4 weeks. Once the 4 weeks are over, the superstar returns to the draft pool.

Curse Cards must be played before Elimination Chamber, as they cannot be used on the final run before WrestleMania 43.

POINTS – TV

Appearing on a show = 1 point
Winning a match in any fashion = 2 points
Losing a match in any fashion = -1 point
Draw or no contest = 0 points

POINTS – PPV

Appearing on a show = 2 points
Winning a match in any fashion = 5 points
Losing a match in any fashion = -1 point
Draw or no contest = 0 points

If a superstar does not appear on any point-scoring TV or PLE show during the week, the superstar loses 3 points.

POINTS – SPECIAL RESULTS

Superstars will win bonus points for the following outcomes:

Winning a Battle Royal = 5 points
Winning a Tournament = 10 points
Winning Money in the Bank = 10 points
Winning an Elimination Chamber = 10 points
Winning an Iron Survivor Match = 10 points
Surviving a Survivor Series Elimination Tag = 3 points
Winning a WarGames Match = 5 points
Winning a Royal Rumble = 15 points

World Titles = WWE Championship, WWE Women's Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Women's World Championship, NXT Championship, NXT Women's Championship

Midcard Titles = Intercontinental Championship, Women's Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Women's United States Championship, North American Championship, Women's North American Championship, Heritage Cup, Speed Championship

Tag Team Titles = WWE Tag Team Championships, World Tag Team Championships, NXT Tag Team Championships, Women's Tag Team Championships

Winning a World Title = 10 points
Winning a Midcard Title or Tag Team Title = 5 points
Successful Title Defense = 3 points

POINTS DEDUCTIONS

If a superstar drafted to someone's team is released from WWE during the Fantasy League, the team in question will instantly lose 50 points.

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 PPV Predictions & Spoilers of Results

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

The following are my predictions for the 2026 AEW Double or Nothing PPV. Check back for Double or Nothing 2026 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Spoilers

AEW DOUBLE OR NOTHING PREDICTIONS

It's time for Kazuchika Okada to lose to Konosuke Takeshita, right? That probably means Okada will cheat to retain and they'll have at least one more match, if not two or more after this.
I'm leaning toward Chris Jericho's team beating The Demand's team in Stadium Stampede to finish that feud between Jericho and Ricochet.
There's no way Cage and Cope lose and have to stop teaming together. They need to beat FTR and win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
This 14-man Stadium Stampede match will be a clusterfuck, but it should at least be fun. I assume Jericho's team will win.
Thekla isn't dropping the AEW Women's World Championship to Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, or Jamie Hayter. The real question is who takes the pin for her?
Regarding MJF putting his hair on the line, part of me thinks Darby Allin wins that match and Max gets his head shaved because the stipulation is out there for a reason and he might be having a hair transplant surgery or something coming up. However, I do think MJF wins that title eventually and drops it to Will Ospreay at All In, so maybe he just wins here instead and it's a red herring?
Because of that idea, I think Will Ospreay beating Samoa Joe is a guarantee for the Owen Hart Cup, and I'd also assume Swerve Strickland beats Bandido (as well as Brody King eventually after Brody beats Claudio Castagnoli to set up a final of Ospreay vs. Swerve)
Looking at the women's Owen Hart Cup bracket, 3 people aren't even in the company (Sareee, Persephone, and Hazuki), and with Thekla being the likely champion but not necessarily guaranteed, this makes even the Willow Nightingale vs. Alex Windsor match hard to predict, but I'll say Willow comes out on top.

10. Myles Borne [NR]

Amid the shaking up of the NXT roster, Myles Borne remained the Men's North American Champion with his victory over DarkState's Saquon Shugars on Tuesday. However, Borne was then distracted by Tristan Angels and blindsided by Cam Hendrix.

9. Damien Priest & R-Truth [NR]

Damien Priest & R-Truth's "Cinderella" run as WWE Tag Team Champions has not hit midnight yet, as they retained over Fraxiom on SmackDown. But a post-match attack by Talla Tonga suggests the MFTs haven't given up on reclaiming that gold.

8. Oba Femi [+1]

Oba Femi followed up his conquering of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania with a dominant win over Grayson Waller on Raw, announcing his own open challenge.

7. Brie Bella & Paige [+3]

The thrown-together WWE Tag Team Champions survived their first test on SmackDown, retaining their titles against the former champs The Irresistible Forces.

6. Liv Morgan [-3]

Still appearing on Raw as he promised (for now), Roman Reigns was left short of breath by Jacob Fatu's Tongan Death Grip, setting up his first World Heavyweight Championship defense at Backlash.

3. Rhea Ripley [-2]

Rhea Ripley tried to help Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss even the odds against Fatal Influence on SmackDown, but ended up being shoved towards Flair to renew their seeds of distrust.

2. Cody Rhodes [+2]

The WWE Men's Champion Cody Rhodes faced a familiar face from his past on SmackDown in the form of the main roster debutant Ricky Saints, pulling out the win before being choked out by a title-chasing Gunther.

1. Becky Lynch [+4]

Thanks to a helping hand from Asuka, Becky Lynch slammed and pinned Iyo Sky on Raw to successfully defend her recently won Women's Intercontinental Championship.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Rey Mysterio - On Raw, the timeless Rey Mysterio picked up a win over fellow luchador El Grande Americano.

Judgment Day - Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez entered the hunt for the Women's Tag Team Championship after beating Bayley & Lyra Valkyria on Raw.

Kelani Jordan - Continuing her recent run of wins, Kelani Jordan was victorious against Wren Sinclair on Tuesday's NXT.

Shiloh Hill - Before Ricky Saints made his leap to the main roster, Shiloh Hill was able to sneak in a victory over him in NXT's main event.

Jacy Jayne - Eager to cement her spot on the SmackDown roster, Jacy Jayne took advantage of ringside interference to pin Charlotte Flair on Friday night.

WWE Backlash 2026 PPV Predictions & Spoilers of Results

WWE Backlash 2026 takes place at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the premium live event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

The following are my predictions for the 2026 WWE Backlash PPV. Check back for Backlash 2026 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

WWE Backlash 2026 Spoilers

Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins

This was a no-brainer. They couldn't have gone in any other direction to stall this any further for their first clash. I say first because I don't think this is anywhere near close to over. Whoever wins this almost doesn't matter if they do what I think they're going to do, which is to fight at least two more times, ultimately with a gimmick match like a Last Man Standing or whatever at an event like Clash in Italy. Breakker is my pick to win the King of the Ring tournament (and if not, then I think it's Oba Femi), so if he is going to be free for that tournament finale, he'd have to end his feud with Rollins before that. However, if Femi is the pick to win the KOTR crown, Breakker vs. Rollins could finish up at that event.

In any fashion, I think whoever wins this will lose their next match, so it could go one way or the other here. This is a real 50/50 split. I'll give a slight advantage to Rollins, as I could see him being able to get some roll-up victory or something, only for Breakker to get the last laugh with a beat-down. Or maybe Breakker gets himself disqualified or something.

PREDICTION: 51% Seth Rollins, 49% Bron Breakker.

Iyo Sky vs. Asuka

You know what this story could use? Maybe the person who was in the middle of it all, Kairi Sane? It's ridiculous that WWE released her and then still wants to put this match on, instead of just doing that on Monday Night Raw. What a slap in the face.

PREDICTION: Iyo Sky wins and this feud is over with.

Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu

Obviously, Reigns isn't going to drop the title this quickly. That's a shame for Fatu, but I still think he'll get a good showing. This will be more about how Reigns is the more experienced veteran who is smarter in his approach rather than Fatu, who has the physical advantage, but was out-wrestled. At least, I'm hoping it doesn't end with The Usos interfering and helping Reigns win and a complete copy and paste of what The Bloodline did all the time, as we don't need to go right back to that same dynamic.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns retains.

Tag Team Match: Danhausen and TBD vs. The Miz & Kit Wilson

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone to be Danhausen's tag team partner, but hey, sure, let's go with it. I fully admit I'm on the Danhausen train right now, and my vocal disapproval of the gimmick ended up being totally wrong. This is goodhausen.

PREDICTION: Danhausen and question mark win.

Singles Match for the WWE Men's United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Sami Zayn

RIP Gingerbread Man. He was an MVP for the roster.

PREDICTION: Trick Williams retains.

WWE SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT XLIV PREDICTIONS

Penta losing to Ethan Page is entirely possible. I could definitely see Page holding that Intercontinental Championship. That suits him so well. As much as I like Penta, I hope Page wins.
I don't think The Vision will be losing the world tag team titles to The Street Profits, though.
