Tumblr Theme Default Header Background Images

These are the default header background images for the Optica Theme on Tumblr. Whenever you start a new blog on Tumblr, the Optica Theme is automatically used for said blog, and you get any one of these as your header’s background image.

Thanks for listing this down. So glad that I found it. Was actually searching for the links to these header background images, but I couldn’t find anything.

Initially, I just went to grab the background image URL from the Optica Theme. From seeing the link to the default header background pic that got added when you install Optica on your blog, I noted that the URLs look similar.

Still glad to have found this though since I didn’t know exactly how many pics there were, and it’s good to see what each of these headers look like at a glance.

About that pineapple header image - don’t think I’ve ever seen this before. Is this one of the official Tumblr headers?

Oh, and does anyone have the links to the default Tumblr avatars? I wanna know exactly how many of them there are and what they all look like at a glance.

Soyuz Mir turned 2 today!

Got this email from Tumblr about this blog turning 2.

Actually, I received the message ages ago, way back on 05/05/17. But, as I mentioned in this post, I’ve been on quite a long hiatus from Tumblr since I’ve been really busy.

Now, I’m trying to be more active here again, and that includes posting articles that have been sitting on the drafts page of my Tumblr blogs for what seems to be years. I also want to post all the emails I’ve gotten about the birthdays and milestones my blogs have achieved.

Anyway, one of the things I’ve been working on recently and what has caused me to be so busy was creating more Tumblr themes. These are all available for sale on Gumroad. You can check out my page there using this link: https://gumroad.com/freyayuki.

Hi, me again! I’m SO sorry to keep bothering you but I just have one more question. How can I keep the dashboard sizes for photosets in the Effector theme in the 600/700 content widths? Otherwise they expand and blurry captions galore. Thank you so much for your reply and taking the time to write such clear instructions and screenshots.
