After studying the science of today's whites, a doctor would perform an operation on an eighteen-year-old girl...

The third side of the picture

There is a BBC documentary on the Taj Mahal, according to which when the Taj was built, 26 modern sciences, including aerodynamics, were used in it, which were yet to be taught in its contemporary Oxford University...

The fourth side of the picture

The oldest university in the world was Nalanda, which was in India in BC and people from all over the world came to study here.

The fifth side of the picture

Mehrgarh built in 7000 BC and Mohenjo-Daro built in 5000 BC are testimony to the fact that when humans in most parts of the rest of the world had not learned to build even a hut properly, the most magnificent city in the world was inhabited in our region.

The sixth and last side of the picture

After the rise of the Muslim era, when the era of the declining Mughals came, we, who were once the masters of architecture, fell behind in the field of industry and crafts and started flying pigeons. The passion for pigeons and cockfighting was so destructive that we are still addicted to it today. Instead of reforming ourselves, under the influence of this passion, we leave such flourishes that when Oxford was being built in Europe, we were building the Taj Mahal.

Written by Jan Abu Yildirim

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

A beautiful blend of modernity and agriculture

Dhahran: A beautiful blend of modernity and agriculture

This beautiful aerial view is of the city of Dhahran in Saudi Arabia, where modern buildings are accompanied by the charming spring of lush green fields. No one is watching it, no one is waiting for its return, but it is still moving towards its destination. It is NASA’s Voyager, carrying with it an amazing secret: a golden record, preserving the story of Earth, for any possible extraterrestrial beings who might someday discover it.

Why was this record sent?

In the 1970s, when NASA launched the Voyager 1 and 2 missions, scientists realized that these spacecraft would one day travel into interstellar space. If so, why not leave a message on it that could reach another intelligent civilization? Carl Sagan and his team were tasked with crafting a message that would briefly but comprehensively present Earth’s culture, life, and scientific progress. Thus, the “Voyager Golden Record” was created.

What's on the record?

This is a 12-inch gold-plated copper record, originally made in the style of an LP (Long-Playing Record). It stores the following:

Greetings in 55 different languages – Messages from "Hello" to "Peace be upon you" in the languages of various nations, so that if any intelligent beings hear it, they will know that we desire peaceful communication.

Natural sounds of the Earth – Birds chirping, rain, ocean waves, heartbeats, and other natural sounds, which describe the nature of the Earth.

Music – From classical melodies to traditional African, Chinese, and Indian music, and even Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," so that we can express our creative emotions.

Images – 116 images, including humans, animals, plants, scientific equations, the structure of DNA, and some of the fundamental principles of the universe.

Science and Math – Basic scientific information such as the structure of the hydrogen atom, DNA, the human reproductive system, the location of the Earth, and some basic data about the galaxy.

What if an extraterrestrial civilization discovers it?

The record has detailed instructions engraved on it, telling any intelligent being how to operate it. It has a diagram of a turntable, showing how to spin the record.

Another great thing engraved on it is a “pulsar map,” which shows the location of Earth in our galaxy. This map shows the positions of 14 different neutron stars (Pulsars) and the frequencies of their signals, which could help any intelligent being figure out where Earth is located.

Is Voyager going to meet an alien civilization?

This question has always been on people’s minds, but the fact is that Voyager is not heading towards any specific civilization. It is on a journey without a destination, and it has not encountered any known planets or stars along its way.

Voyager 1 is currently about 24 billion kilometers from Earth and will pass by a star called Gliese 445 in 40,000 years. Voyager 2 is also heading in the same direction, but both are on a journey where the chances of encountering an extraterrestrial civilization are very low.

Will we ever get an answer?

This question is both fascinating and frustrating. Voyager is a message that we put out into space, without knowing if anyone will ever read it. Perhaps millions of years from now, some intelligent being near another star will discover it and wonder if there was once a planet called Earth, inhabited by an intelligent race that dreamed of reaching the stars.

Or maybe it will be lost forever, in some desolate corner, where no one will ever see it. But nevertheless, it is one of humanity's greatest achievements – a message that will remain in the universe forever, free from the constraints of time and distance.

(Compiled by: Dr. Ahmed Naeem)

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

Walking trek from Shandur Polo Ground to Mahodand Lake

Walking trek from Shandur Polo Ground to Mahodand Lake

Friends, from July 1st, we will head to Shandur Polo Ground to taste the waters of these lakes. We will also watch a polo match there and enjoy the colorfulness of Shandur Festival. The real story will begin after watching this festival because I want to trek from Shandur to Mahodand on foot so that I can drink the water of 13 lakes, stay in five meadows and see countless waterfalls. If any friend is interested in doing this journey, he can join us. I am writing an introduction to this trek for your convenience.

Shandur Polo Ground to Mahodand Lake Seven-day walking trek via Khokush Pass

Shandur Polo Ground, echoing with the shouts of galloping horses and riders, is the highest polo ground in the world. Shandur National Park, 3738 meters above sea level, is also called the roof of the world. Perhaps that is why the locals have named this ground Mas Jonali (Polo Ground on the Moon) in the Khowar language.

Shandur National Park is also the junction point of the world's three highest mountain ranges, the Hindu Kush, the Pamir and the Karakoram. In this vast plain, the Shandur Lake, spread over 2 kilometers, is surrounded by towering mountains on all sides. Spring is in full swing in Shandur National Park in the month of July. Colorful flowers of various kinds are seen blooming in the lush green plain around the lake and their fragrance perfumes the air.

Locals head to Shandur National Park with their livestock, mostly yaks and goats. The temperature in this vast plain never goes above 14 degrees. No one knows when the clouds will come and start pouring down rain in this earthly paradise. It is also difficult to predict when the torrential rain will stop and when the clouds will head to distant valleys due to the wind.

Shandur National Park is connected to the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan through various mountain passes. Khokush Pass is the Hindu Kush pass that connects the Ghizer region of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the beautiful Swat valley. This mountain pass, which is 4970 meters above sea level, remains covered in snow all year round.

The trek from Ghizer district to Mahodand Lake Kalam starts from Langar Nala. The trek from Shandur to Mahodand Lake is about 60 kilometers long and passes more than 9 lakes, countless waterfalls, glaciers, springs and pastures. Locals cover this route in two days. Langar is 3350 meters above sea level, while the highest point of Khokush Pass is 4970 meters above sea level and Mahodand Lake is 2865 meters above sea level. Langar is a place where you can choose to reach from Chitral or Ghazr. The time to reach Shandur National Park from both the routes is almost the same.

The distance from Islamabad to Shandur National Park is 584 kilometers and it takes 20 to 22 hours to complete this journey. The route from Islamabad to Mastuj can be covered in any vehicle, but the 55-kilometer route from Mastuj to Shandur National Park is suitable only in a 4X4 jeep. The second route from Islamabad to Shandur passes through the cities of Naran, Babu Sartap, Gilgit, Ghazr, Phandar. This route is 741 kilometers long, but you can reach Shandur National Park in any vehicle from this route. The road condition is also better than the Chitral road.

If you travel from Shandur National Park towards Ghazr district, after 10 kilometers, there is a small village named Langar on the banks of a noisy drain. The Khokush Pass, which connects Ghizer District with Seri Kalam in the upper Swat region, also begins from this village.

After leaving Langar Nallah, the important places on this route include the 4 lakes of Khokush, Khokush Glacier, Khokush Pass, Seri Kalam, Neel Sar Lake, Shin Dhand Lake, Donchar Falls, Mini Shahi Bagh, Nasrullah Lake, Saifullah Lake and Mahodand Lake.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

countries that eat the most meat

10 countries that eat the most meat

Hong Kong – 137.08 kg / per person

USA - 124.11 kg/person

Australia - 121.61 kg / person

Argentina - 109.39 kg / person

New Zealand -100.9 kg/person

Spain - 100.9 kg / person

Israel - 97.02 kg / person

Samoa - 96.68 kg/person

Portugal 94.7 kg/person

St. Vincent, Grenada 91.5 kg / person

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; Surprisingly, real travelers like Abrar Hassan (WildLens by Abrar) and Kamran Ali (Kamran On Bike) were overlooked, while the award went to a person who is more interested in creating entertainment content than traveling.

Wild Lens by Abrar – A True Traveler

Abrar Hassan is a name that truly understands the spirit of travel. He came to Pakistan from Germany on his motorcycle and is now traveling the world on a motorcycle. He has traveled to areas of Pakistan where the roads are dangerous, the weather is severe, and the facilities are non-existent.

The purpose of his journey? To bring the real beauty of Pakistan to the world, to show places where tourism is still scarce, and to highlight stories that the general public ignores. He lives on the roads like a true adventurer.

Kamran on Bike – A Dream Come True

Kamran Ali’s journey is full of stories. He is a name who has planned to travel the whole world on a bicycle. This young man from Pakistan has today covered thousands of kilometers on a bicycle in four continents.

Kamran crossed many countries in Europe, Africa, America and Asia on a bicycle, the routes on which ordinary travelers are afraid to travel even in cars, he set out on them with his two-wheeled bicycle. He traveled from snow-capped mountains to scorching deserts, in all kinds of weather conditions.

Think! A person who covers several thousand kilometers on his bicycle, he not only endures physical exertion but is also a tireless traveler mentally. All this is not just for fame but to understand the true spirit of travel and to show the world how a Pakistani can conquer the world.

So why are they ignored?

These two travelers, namely Abrar Hassan and Kamran Ali, do not need any awards. But the question arises, who do the Pakistani people consider a travel creator?

Traveling is not about dancing!

The award was given to Zannier Kamboh, who creates entertainment content rather than being a real traveler. Traveling is not just about riding around in a 4x4 and dancing to music videos, but about discovering new worlds while facing difficulties.

In many countries of the world, traveling is not only considered a serious profession but also promotes the national economy through it. Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, and many countries in Europe are growing their tourism industry through these travel creators. But in Pakistan, we are still making the mistake of considering entertainment as travel and travel as entertainment.

It is time for us as a nation to change our thinking and respect those who are keeping the true spirit of travel alive.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

which mobile phone to buy

If your budget is 35 to 40 thousand.

You want a good camera and processor, then a good display, and the phone should be strong so that there is no fear of damage if it falls or weighs heavily in your pocket, then please do not waste money on a new phone. GT (Grand Total) Button

This button is used to add up all the results (totals) that you have done on the calculator. For example, if you have done several separate calculations and want to see the sum of all of them at once, pressing the GT button will show the grand total of all the calculations.

2. M+ (Memory Plus) Button

This button is used to add any number to the memory.

Usage: If you type "50" and then press M+, this number will be stored in the calculator's memory. If you later type "30" and press M+ again, "80" will now be stored in the memory (50+30=80).

3. M- (Memory Minus) Button

This button is used to subtract any new number from the number in memory.

Usage: If there is already "80" in memory and you write "20" and press M-, then "60" will remain in memory (80-20=60).

4. MRC (Memory Recall & Clear) Button

This button does two things:

Pressing it the first time displays the number stored in memory (Recall).

Pressing it again clears the memory (Clear).

5. +/- (Plus Minus) Button

This button is used to change the sign of any number.

Usage: If you have written "25" and press +/-, it will change to "-25", and pressing it again will change it to "+25".

6. MU (Mark-Up) Button

This button is mostly used in business to calculate profit margin.

Usage: If an item costs Rs. 500 and you want to sell it with a 20% profit, do this:

1. Type 500

2. Press MU

3. Type 20 and press %

4. The calculator will automatically show the price at which you have to sell the item

✔ The MU button is very useful for shopkeepers and businessmen.

✔ M+, M-, and MRC are useful for those who want to save large calculations in memory and use them later.

✔ GT is useful for those who want to calculate the grand total of various calculations.

These buttons make the calculator more powerful and useful, especially for businessmen and students.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

Fish Fossil

An ancient Greek, Xenophanes, was the first person to see a fossil of a fish on a mountain range. He later wrote that there had once been a sea in this place. As long as he was alive, people of that time did not accept his advice. About 2500 years after his death, in the 15th century, an Italian scientist, engineer, and painter, Leonardo da Vinci, found some fossils in the salty sea water. Later, many fossils were also found in a mountain range in northern Italy, which confirmed that there had once been a sea in this place.

It was about the 18th century when an English engineer, William Smith, made a surprising discovery when he was digging for canals in different places. He noticed that different types of fossils were found in different layers of the earth. As the layers of the earth got deeper, the fossils were of organisms with different patterns compared to the layers above.

Later, when geologists started studying the different layers of the earth's soil in depth, they started finding different types of fossils inside it. This is where this important knowledge was founded. Today we all know that our earth came into existence about 6-4 billion years ago. About which it was thought a few centuries ago, it was about 6 to 7 thousand years old. Today, all of us know this, this may be a myth, but it is not a fact. The truth is what this important branch of scientific knowledge, geology, is proving to us with evidence.

Today, paleontologists divide the entire history of this earth into four different periods and tell us about them in detail when and how all these periods began. The picture below has given a lot of information in this regard. An ancient priest's tomb has been discovered near the famous Giza Pyramids, providing a glimpse into Egypt's glorious past. The large pit you see is no ordinary pit, but a burial passageway that leads directly to chambers where priests were buried with precious objects. Dating back to around 2500 BC, these tombs help us understand ancient Egyptian religious rituals and cultural traditions. The discovery opens the door to a mysterious and enigmatic era that continues to amaze the world today!

The cemetery where this discovery was made consists of "mustafa"-style tombs, which were reserved for the elite and religious leaders of ancient Egypt. These tombs usually have colorful paintings and hieroglyphic inscriptions on the walls, providing details about the deceased's life, their religious beliefs, and the afterlife. Often, they also contain statues and vessels that were believed to be helpful to the deceased in the afterlife.

This discovery not only provides a glimpse into Egyptian religion and social structure, but also helps us understand the lifestyle of the common people during the reign of the pharaohs and their beliefs about the afterlife. She was also the first pharaoh to have her signature recorded in royal official letters. Queen Tia was the mother of King Akhenaten and the grandmother of the famous King Tutankhamun. She also built the most complex pyramid with tunnels. This pharaoh met directly with the kings of Babylon for the first time in Egyptian history. She had adopted specific 'titles' for herself in the palace.

For example, "Egyptian goddess, Queen Tia, consort of Amun, greatest of royal women, power of the god Ra, ever beautiful, sacred goddess of Horus, high priestess of the temple of Ra."

Then what happened to this goddess, just look at her second picture. The earthly god of his time, with all his beauty, all his pharaonism, his great titles and ownership of thousands of slaves, the servility of his time, all his splendor, has left behind him for centuries and today lies lifeless like a stone in the Cairo museum. Which every visitor looks at with disgust.

For the pleasure of a few years, we commit every crime and every sin in the world, drive out the fear of God from our hearts, despise truth and the truth and accept our ego as God, all that will one day become a lifeless stone somewhere like Mecca.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

The world's quietest room

The world's quietest room,

where you can't stay even for an hour

This room has been set up by Microsoft to test its products and other experiments, which was first set up in 2015 and has now been confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records. This room is set up in Redmond, Washington. We measure sound in decibels, but the silence of this room is a little more than minus 20 decibels.

The interesting thing is that only one person has spent more than 30 minutes in this room and on average people come out after a few minutes. Because as soon as you enter the room, you can hear the heartbeat, then you can also hear the sounds of the intestines and stomach, and after that you can even hear the movement of bones and blood flow. The person sitting in it suffers from a strange feeling and leaves the room.

It is called an 'anechoic chamber' in English where sound waves are completely absorbed. This is why the silence here seems so strange because even the quietest library can have a noise of 40 decibels. But here, “negative decibels” reign. Many people come here and within a few seconds feel the sound of ringing in their ears and it becomes impossible to stop.

The second thing is that many people have lost their balance after coming to this room and people are even afraid of the sound of their own breathing. Engineers have installed special board-like structures around this room and on the ceiling that absorb sound. This is why it took two whole years to design and prepare it.

However, ordinary people cannot visit this room because it is built for serious scientific research and product development.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Pakistan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Pakistan on a 2-day official visit

Islamabad: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Islamabad along with a high-level delegation and the Turkish First Lady.

According to the statement, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Pakistan on a 2-day official visit. Sajid was still at the shop. Tiredness was evident on his face, but he still had a long way to go. Taking a rickshaw meant cutting into the daily budget, so he walked as usual.

Sajid was a typical middle-class person. He who fulfills the needs of others by killing his desires, who always postpones his happiness by saying "not today, we'll see tomorrow". When he reached home, he found the children sleeping. His wife opened the door, but there was no joy on her face that a husband should have when he returned.

"It's too late, I'm preparing food, it must have gotten cold." Saying this, she went to the kitchen.

Sajid washed his hands and was just sitting down to eat when his wife's voice came:

"The neighbor was saying that tomorrow is the last date for school fees. "Did you pay the children's fees?"

The bread in Sajid's hand stopped. He remained silent, what would he say in response? The entire month's savings had been spent on rent, electricity bills and rations. His wife understood his silence and spoke softly:

"Make some arrangements, otherwise the children will be ashamed."

Sajid nodded in the affirmative, but thousands of questions began to arise in his heart. Where could he make these arrangements? Every month, this struggle, this war, this compromise. Inflation was increasing, but the income was the same. Even the children's small desires began to become a burden.

"Dad, my bicycle tire is punctured." The next day, the son spoke innocently.

"Dad, my shoe is torn, everyone makes fun of it." The daughter bowed her head in shame.

These words struck Sajid like an arrow in his heart. He said nothing, just walked out silently. He came to the street and took a deep breath, reassuring himself that life goes on like this. This is the destiny of the middle class, desires And retreating into the midst of realities. He knew that all this was temporary, but would this temporary time ever end?

The wife came near the door and stood. She had seen Sajid's empty hands and downcast eyes. She knew that her husband was doing as much as he could. But what should he do?

"Listen..." she spoke slowly.

Sajid turned around, his eyes filled with helplessness.

"I've thought, let's start some tailoring work. I only know a few stitches, if I learn a little, maybe it will be easier to make ends meet."

Sajid remained silent. His masculine ego was preventing him from letting his wife work outside the house, but reality had shaken him.

"If you like it, do it, just don't tire yourself out too much." He spoke slowly.

A faint light came on his wife's face. She knew that giving this permission was not easy for Sajid, but she had taken this step for the better future of her children.

There was a moment of silence, then she spoke softly:

"Listen, I want to say one more thing..."

Sajid looked at her in shock.

"The bike you sold to pay off the debt was a huge sacrifice for us, but if we somehow buy a good running bike again, it will be easier for you too. It will save time going to the shop and nowadays people are also riding bikes online. You can take a ride on the way to the shop, at least the money for commuting will cover the household expenses. The rest I will learn sewing and save a little. After all, we are each other's support and our children too... together we will manage everything."

Sajid was looking at her carefully. His wife had never seemed to him as wise and courageous as she did today. Perhaps life's hardships had taught him the skill of reaching out to hold on to something when one hand was empty.

Sajid took a deep breath, as if he were getting rid of a burden.

"Okay, I'll see if I can find a good bike tomorrow."

A slight smile came to his wife's face, as if she was sure that a way would be found.

Sajid was about to turn around when his wife said, "Wait, a minute..."

She quickly went inside and took something out of the closet and came back. Sajid saw that it was his gold bangle.

"My mother gave it to me, but now I want you to keep it. If you need it, sell it and buy a bike."

Sajid looked at her in shock. He was surprised, unable to decide what to do.

The wife looked into his eyes and said softly,

"When you sold your bike, I was very sad. It was a sacrifice you made for us. Now it will be my sacrifice. When my mother gave it to me, it just became a part of my life, and now I want you to use it to make your life easier."

There was a storm of emotions in Sajid's eyes. Sometimes he would look at his wife, sometimes at the bangle that was in her hand. He thought, this is the same bangle that he had seen in his wife's hand for the first time after marriage, which had always been a part of her jewelry, which she never wanted to lose.

And today? Today the same bangle was in his hand, but for a different purpose. His wife's words started echoing in his mind, "When you sold your bike, I was sad. Consider this a part of my sacrifice..."

Sacrifice? Really?

He had sold his bike, but it was a compulsion, there was no emotional attachment to it. But this bangle? It was a memory of his wife, his mother's love, and perhaps one of his last precious possessions.

A strange conflict began to arise in his heart. Should he keep this bangle? Should he accept this sacrifice of his wife? Or should he do what a husband should do?

His fingers were holding the bangle tightly, as if he never wanted to let it fall from his hands. The three mountains seen in the background belong to three different mountain ranges, one Hindu Kush, one Himalayas, and one Karakoram.

This is because the Gilgit River coming from the Ghizer Valley and the Indus River coming from Skardu meet here, and this confluence of rivers forms the shape of the English letter 7, delimiting the mountain ranges around it.

The Himalayas extend from this point to Nepal, where its peak Everest is the highest mountain in the world, while its peak Nanga Parbat in Pakistani territory is considered the most dangerous mountain in the world.

Between the Indus River and the Gilgit River, there is the Karakoram mountain range, which extends to China. When the Indian team was being announced, the selection committee had two important names in front of it: Dhruv Jarel, the son of a farmer from Kolkata, and Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Sachin Tendulkar. The selection committee decided to include Dhruv Jarel in the team considering the performances of both of them in the recent domestic season. The committee said that although Arjun Tendulkar is related to the pride of India, Sachin Tendulkar, he does not qualify on merit. They said that only when Arjun's merit is less than Dhruv Jarel's, then he will be able to make a place in the team.

The position of the Indian cricket team today is due solely to the selection done on merit. The son of a monster, Mohammad Siraj, who has become India's leading bowler today, and the son of a goal-seller, Jaiswal, who is successful as an opening batsman in India's Test cricket, all have their successes based on merit.

On the other hand, we have examples where merit was ignored. Misbah-ul-Haq's son Faham-ul-Haq joined the U-19 team without merit, while many players who had fulfilled their potential on merit were left behind. Similarly, Moin Khan's son Azam Khan, who was facing difficulties in cricket due to his fitness, was selected for a major event like the T20 World Cup, simply because he is the son of a former cricketer.

These problems reveal the lack of justice in our cricket system. Talented poor players like Sufyan Muqeem are left out of the Champions Trophy squad, while players like Faheem Ashraf, who were completely unknown, suddenly join the team. We ask ourselves why our cricket is going backwards. The answer is very simple: when team selection is not fair, how can there be progress?

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

The Research Vessel RV Philip Ship

The research vessel RV Philip is the only ship in the world capable of moving from a horizontal to a vertical position in the middle of the ocean.

Philip is no small ship, it is about 108 meters long and weighs 700 tons.

Engineers designed it to be able to move to a vertical position with a 90-degree tilt, so that the front of the upper part of the ship is 17 meters high (that is, the height of a 5-story building) while the bottom is 91 meters long, meaning most of the ship is submerged. Which helps the ship's stability and resistance to waves.

The conversion process takes about 30 minutes, in which seawater is pumped into large tanks at the back of the ship, which causes it to sink into the water and become a ship in a vertical position, and the ship is considered one of the most important ships in the field of scientific and marine research.

Research vessels RV flip are highly advanced mobile research stations that provide a stable platform from which exploration equipment, divers, and submarines can be deployed. Born in 1985 in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, Liang’s father was a primary school teacher, but his son’s extraordinary mathematical abilities led him to study electronic engineering and AI at Zhejiang University and earn a master’s degree in electronic engineering and AI. In 2015, Liang founded a hedge fund called Highflyer Quant, which used AI for algorithmic trading. In just four years, he managed $8-10 billion in assets, but Liang’s heart still beat in basic AI research.

In 2021, when the United States announced restrictions on chip exports, Liang took a leap of faith and stockpiled 10,000 Nvidia A100 GPU chips. It was a time when the world was suffering from a hardware shortage for AI, but Liang not only pulled China out of the crisis but also spun off Highflyer’s research wing in 2023 to found DeepSec. The goal was not just to build a chatbot, but to take China “from replication to creation”—a country that was self-reliant in technology.

DeepSec’s first major achievement was its R1 model, which was open source and allowed free commercial use under the MIT license. Liang believed that the walls of closed systems were temporary, while real progress was possible only through open collaboration. This philosophy came to fruition when DeepSec’s chatbot launched in the US in January 2025 and became the most downloaded app in 50 countries in just ten days. Its performance not only surpassed OpenAI’s GPT-4 but also caused earthquakes, such as an 18% drop in Nvidia shares, shaking the global tech industry.

The success was not just about resources, but also about Liang’s unique approach. He recruited fresh graduates, eliminated KPIs and hierarchies, and gave researchers unfettered access to GPU clusters. It was this model of “bottom-up innovation” that made it possible to develop models like DeepSec V3 for just $5.58 million—1/20th the cost of OpenAI’s GPT-4. When they lowered the price of their API to 1/53 of that of Cloud 3.5 Sonnet in May 2024, it shook up the entire industry landscape, prompting companies like Alibaba and Tencent to also lower their prices.

Liang’s vision now is to reach AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), for which he sees language, mathematics, and multi-modality as key pillars. He believes AGI is possible in our lifetimes within 2 to 10 years, especially as young Chinese scientists “show their brilliance.” While there are challenges like US chip restrictions, DeepSec claims it can train its models on just 2,000 chips, a revolutionary step compared to competitors’ 16,000 chips.

The most interesting aspect of this journey is that Liang eschewed VC funding altogether. Highflyer's financial resources and philosophy of "long-term research" have kept DeepSec free from market pressure. That is why when experts around the world expressed surprise at the performance of DeepSec V3, Nvidia scientist Jim Fen called it "the biggest dark horse in the AI world

."

Today, DeepSec has become not just a company, but a metaphor for China's technological sovereignty. As Professor Marina Zhang of the University of Sydney said, "Compensating for hardware deficiencies with software expertise—this is DeepSec's real success." This story of Liang Wenfeng proves that when curiosity, courage, and vision come together, even a lack of resources cannot be an obstacle. Liang insists that as long as China continues to copy the United States, it will remain number two. Now is the time for us to produce the original and the world to make copies of us. Let's see what happens next.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a

A Huge Financial Gain.

a huge financial gain.

In 1886, aluminum was worth more than gold. A chemistry teacher told his students:

"If you can find a cheap way to produce aluminum, you can become rich in no time."

Hearing this conversation, a student named Charles Hall seriously decided to find a way to melt aluminum. He began these experiments with his mother's kitchen utensils and everyday tools. He was persistent, intelligent, and hardworking, and he never gave up on his experiments, even after many failed attempts.

Finally, he discovered an effective way to melt aluminum cheaply. His new technique resulted in the cheap production of aluminum and revolutionized the scope of aluminum's use around the world. This feat proved to be a turning point in the production of metals, especially after the invention of iron.

It was a major achievement and his discovery made him rich alone, as his school chemistry teacher had told him that if he succeeded, he would have a huge financial gain.

https://feeds.feedburner.com/tamashah/k99sYiSXC1a
