امریکہ میں ‘فری دی نپل‘ موومنٹ کو بڑی جیت حاصل ہوئی ہے۔ وہاں کی سپریم کورٹ نے خواتین کو ٹاپ لیس ہوکر گھومنے کی آزادی دے دی ہے۔ مغربی امریکہ کی 6 ریاستوں میں اب خواتین کا ٹاپ لیس گھومنا لیگل (قانونی) ہوگیا ہے۔ ان ریاستوں میں کچھ خواتین نے اس موومینٹ کی مخالفت بھی کی تھی لیکن سپریم کورٹ نے ‘فری دی نپل‘ موومینٹ کے حق میں فیصلہ سناتے ہوئے ٹاپ لیس پابندی کو ہٹا دیا۔

مغربی امریکہ کی 6 ریاستوں کولوراڈو، یوٹا، کین ساس، نیو میکسیکو اور اوکلاہوما میں اب خواتین مردوں کی طرح ٹاپ لیس ہوکر گھوم سکتی ہیں۔ امریکہ میں گزشتہ کچھ وقت سے خواتین نے ‘فری دی نپل‘ موومینٹ چلا رکھا تھا۔ خواتین کی مانگ تھی کہ ان کو مردوں کی طرح ٹاپ لیس گھومنے کی آزادی دی جائے۔ تحریک چلا رہیں خواتین کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کا جسم صرف سیکسوئل آبجیکٹ نہیں ہے بلکہ انہیں بھی مردوں کی طرح یکساں حقوق ملنے چاہئیں۔

ڈیلی میل کی خبر کے مطابق فارٹ کالنس سرکار نے کولوراڈو شہر میں اس موومنٹ کو روکنے کیلئے 2 کروڑ روپئے سے زیادہ خرچ کئے تھے لیکن سپریم کورٹ نے فیصلہ ‘فری دی نپل‘ موومنٹ کے حق میں سنایا۔ فارٹ کالنس حکومت کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ کورٹ نے خواتین کو ٹاپ لیس گھومنے کی آزادی دے دی ہے۔ اب ہم شہر میں باقی اہم چیزوں پر پیسہ خرچ کریں گے۔

خواتین نے اس معاملے کو فروری میں سپریم کورٹ میں چیلنج دیا اور مطالبہ کیا کہ ٹاپ لیس پابندی ہٹنی چاہئے۔ کورٹ نے اب ‘فری دی نپل‘ موومنٹ کی بات مان لی اور مغربی امریکہ کی 6 ریاستوں میں خواتین کے ٹاپ لیس گھومنے کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔

اس سے پہلے امریکہ میں صرف 10 سال سے کم عمر کی بچیوں کو ٹاپ کے بغیر عوامی مقامات پر گھومنے کی آزادی تھی۔ حال ہی میں لیک سائڈ بیچ پر تین خواتین کے ٹاپ لیس گھومنے کا تنازعہ ہوا تھا۔
