The interview was originally with the person who runs it and I had all these questions about how they manage different aspects of music on the site. But the person that was able to talk with me only really knew about the Live Music Archive section. It was still a good interview, but my list of questions were kind of limited.

It’s a road right by our house and the speed limit has been 35 forever, so I didn’t know they changed it. The cop said they had never pulled over a person with a clean driving record before and actually apologized for not being able to just give me a warning.

It not only happened to my listings but any new ones I create. And my account is in good standing so it’s not that. I try to tell them all the things they suggested that I try the last time, so hopefully I don’t have to go through their basic troubleshooting questions again.

I’ve broken my spokes so many times in the past. So, that was why my first thought was that’s what happened. At least the other side of the frame was holding it together while I unknowingly kept riding it home.

I feel like the podcast takes up a lot of my Sunday, but I still find time to get outside.

I just can’t make it work right now. I feel like if I had found the place 6 or 8 months from now, I might be able to take it happen.

I guess I’m at least glad I didn’t say, toodle-loo, instead.

I would look up and the kid would be gone. Then a minute later, be standing there again staring. I think their parent worked there.

It kind of felt like they forgot how to do it. But what do I know, I don’t cut hair.

I’ve always just accepted it happens. But it’s really weird if you think about it.

I’m assuming that it’s because it must have been spread on the land or something. And being in Wisconsin you smell manure in the country quite often. But it’s strange how it smells different if it’s spread.

I’m not really in the market for a new space, but this one has me considering it.

Then I have to wait until I get out to the studio to try again. But, at least I can think about a bit longer.

I don’t even think I could see their blinker if they are behind me.

I felt bad for the kid, because lord knows I was just like them when I got my first job.

Also, my car is too small to take it anywhere, so we weren’t able to do that.

We got to pick up some vintage items for my online store, see a great show, and I got back in time to do my podcast. It was a busy weekend, but it was fun.

Why is it that I rode my bike all summer and the tire pressure seems fine. But when I pull it out of storage in the spring each year, the tires are always flat.

It’s not even that someone let them into the building. It’s knowing that I don’t want to talk to them.

I didn’t mind he was on the phone, it’s just hard to tell these days. Plus, I was very confused about what he said if he were talking to me.

He swatted it away two more times, and it just kept showing up at the same spot on his mic. No idea why.

I also have to hunt down all of the original files to put them together. It seems I didn’t start organizing them properly until about the second year of drawing them.

It’s not even a pun as far as I can tell? Does drop a beat have something to do with a library? Is it just a drummer is loud so they would get kicked out? But that’s not a joke. I just don’t get it. Is it just me?

Living downtown we see see a lot of protests when they happen. It was a nice day out, and seeing the person with a sign enjoying their walk just stood out to me for some reason.

It’s not that I don’t have any other options for selling my comics. It’s just the fact that Amazon Kindle decided to delete my account, that has me obsessed with fixing it.

I haven’t been selling my books on any other service and my sales have been pretty average for years. So I don’t get what “manipulating the service” even means?

He was genuinely curious, but I felt bad for the other guy who ended up putting the couch together all by himself.

I came up with the idea for them last year and they liked it so much they asked me to do it again. It features two days of music by creative commons musicians, including my band. It plays parallel to the Ubuntu online summit so people can listen to open-source music between talks.

I have the structure down, but it needs something more. It seems plain to me right now.

Now we just got to get rid of the busted up couch we originally ordered.

I replied to the email, and they said they would get back to me in five business days. We’ll see what they say, I guess.

I just hate winter so much, I choose not to believe.

But with how old the house is, you just know it’s got tons of things it needs fixed too.

I feel like since it was a fancy restaurant order they must have done something weird to it, like one of those chef competition shows on TV.

I’d actually find it refreshing if they just came right out and said “Hey I’m trying to book this this client on a podcast, are you interested” rather than pretending they listen to my show.

The other obstacle is finding parking. It took us about five tries before we found one with an empty table.

I’ve seen the glow effect of uranium glass before, but never a whole blacklight room dedicated to display it.

I contacted support about what to do, and they said no I should not call numbers I am sent, and since I was at the location just find a place to set the order.

He had never used it and didn’t really know much about it. But I also feel like maybe they should have gone through the steps of a workplace accident?

I was very grateful that I had got the chance to know him. So sad to hear that this had happened.

The place looked empty, so I don’t think they were performing for anyone either.

Turns out the sound card wasn’t monitoring the instrument input, it was sending the playback from the laptop to the headphones, so the sound takes a millisecond longer to get there. 🙄

And why do I know what burnt crayons on a skillet smells like?

It’s an external sound card and I found out afterwards it was the cord.

And I’ve been doing it for years, and only just recently realized it.

The podcast is about open-source and creative commons musicians, so there’s a bit of effort involved in looking for others in that realm.

I decided to look at what it said I was supposed to deliver and drove to the restaurant myself to pick it up. Luckily it was near by.

Not that I’m complaining mind you, just something I noticed.

It’s really just the podcasts that are the biggest problem, because I edit and set those up about a week in advance.

Most of the responses we got so far have all been automated, so that’s part of the problem too.

The cushions look like a pile of laundry with how lumpy and wrinkled it is.

He did go to get a tag to scan. Turns out, what sucked was that he had to go get it.

Seriously, every other time, Alexa says, “Masking tape delivered, want to send a thank you to the driver”. But a couch they’re like, meh I’m sure it’s fine.

So we go to a show where we don’t know anybody, and my first thought when someone says something nice is they’re making fun of me.

Soon after he discovered the buttons on the oven.

I didn’t even notice the ink cartridge in the middle of it until I looked it up. And why didn’t I look it up to begin with instead of trying to pry the thing apart?

I hate when a site launch goes wrong and I have to spend time figuring out why it isn’t working. Then I launch a site with no problems and I can’t help thinking I did something wrong.

It did say we got 8 on the receipt. So did somebody steal one bookend from a pack of two where she bought them? And how strange is that!

He was just standing there looking at the room. So I thought he was a waiter or something.

I know he was just mad at work, but I thought my correction to his comment was pretty funny.

Sometimes shipping costs keep things from selling online, so maybe being able to buy it right at the store will help.

It seems mean, but it was just the first thought I had looking at it.

Yet oddly, it feels like I didn’t do anything today.

I still have to pick what I want to put in there and create price tags for them. But I can get my stuff in there in about a week.

I was actually just thinking about this just the other day. I figured I would never hear back. Gonna go check out the spot in the store tomorrow.

I knew I forgot something the other day.

When you have similar things you do each day a a certain time, shuffling them around makes it feel like you keep forgetting something.

It’s one of those things that seems like a cool idea to try and do, but don’t know if I would follow through on it.

So the joke would be, how many people in my family does it take to change a light bulb? 🤡

I seriously can’t remember a time there was a snowstorm and I didn’t get an order that says, now drive this to a house in the middle of nowhere on an old dirt road.

I feel like I’ve been working on lighting for different video setups a lot lately. I hope I’m just looking to improve my videos and it’s not that they’ve been badly lit this whole time and I’m just now noticing it.

I was looking at the books over his shoulder the whole time, so I thought I should say something so it didn’t get weird.

They all seem fine. But I never know until I sing them. It’s strange, but sometimes they can sound silly when they are sung.

When they brought the order I apologized to the person like five times about it.

I can work on it tonight at the studio. Hopefully, I’ll still be feeling it.

You know we can all imagine what that smells like.

Had no idea this was happening at all.

I just set it on the window sill and went in.

It’s literally the one flaw in the way I have my intricate inventory set up.

I feel like we didn’t get to see everything there. But hey, it was free.

I kept looking at it thinking there was something I was missing to make it work.

I thought they would tell us we have to wait until next week to fix it, but they came right away.

I kept thinking I was gonna break a glass in the bathroom. Which seemed severe for some reason.

It couldn’t have happened before the holidays?

I think the chord still had some power in it. I don’t know, but I didn’t break it at least.

Was he having a conversation with us while he was sitting there and we never heard it? Or was he being sarcastic? We have no idea.

I just put it back together and ordered a new one.

I decided not to respond. Figured that it would keep going on from there if I did.

It looked like it was so close, that it was gonna land in the field next to the road.

I’m always amazed at how I’ve been able to fit stuff in my car over the years.

I mean, he was really good at what he did.

My drummer is an electrician, so he has a bunch of colored lights set up all over the room.

I mostly just listened for now.

It was almost too much really.

It had worked fine for days now. But since I don’t know how I eventually got it to work, I just kept thinking at any moment it would freeze up again.

Just trying to distract myself by working on a task I need to get done.

Not really sure what to do to help him out with this yet.

It’s one of those things that bugs me when I can’t figure it out. So I spent the rest of the day trying to fix the problem myself.

I even had to carve the turkey which seemed stressful to do in public.

Then I felt bad my initial reaction to them was acting irritated.

Our friend visiting lives in the UK and didn’t even tell me he was back in the US. If I hadn’t messaged I wouldn’t even have known that.

I would not be able to live with that. I would hop on one foot if I had to.

There is just something different about looking at the site your working on, and looking at a site knowing others can see it now.

I’ve been using the same CMS for my site for years but needed more flexibility. So I created my own self-hosted Jekyll site.

Hearing them singing a Melissa Etheridge song seemed a surprising choice for some reason.

When I drive my mind wanders and it’s easy to get over analytical.

All I really needed where the pino keys, my DAW makes all the synth sounds.

And you have no idea you’re doing a delivery like this until you get there.

I guess it’s different when you’re not the one having to be the parent.

As the saying goes, do what you love and you never have to work a day in your life.

I also do the descriptions using voice-to-text, so that part goes pretty fast too.

I wasn’t busy, I just didn’t want to.

I interview a lot of people over seas and twice a year I have to add this factor to the mix.

At least I can edit out parts where I think I ramble to much.

I was vlogging about the concept for a music app idea I had on my personal website.

I decided to work on the prototype of it anyway.

The kid hadn’t stopped moving the whole time he was here so I wasn’t surprised by it.

He hasn’t responded back to me in almost a year, so my instant reaction is he needs something.

Regardless, it doesn’t seem like something so important that it needs a reminder call.

I knew it was gonna happen. I didn’t know when or how, but I knew it would.

I wasn’t quite sure how else to respond to that.

I think I’m mostly freaking out because since it’s an event tied to an organization people will actually be watching it.

And then when you find a store that has the right size, the next time you go there they don’t. So you can’t even rely on that!

Also, sneezing when I drive or ride my bike always freaks me out because you can’t focus on driving when you do it.

It never occurred to me how a little thing like someone pouring the coffee for you changes the whole dynamic.

I felt bad, but I also kinda wanted to see how long it took them to notice.
