The large size perfect when you need to carry a tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag as wall as the usual other bits and bobs.

As for the No Waist Belt issue, I found a solution. I got the (Boblbee COMFORT – VELCRO WAIST BELT S-M MEGALOPOLIS) With camping gear it is useful to have them for the extra weight. It can easily be attached to the little loops that run down the side of the bag. It’s also not bulky and can roll up to be out of the way when not needed. This was a big factor for me as part of the reason I use the North Face duffel is the lightweight no frills approach.

Over what period of time? Your question as 24/7, in the article, but is that really for a week? If 161 megawatts is divided by 161,000 homes that gives each home 1,000 watts (1kw)? 161,000,000 watts / 161,000 homes) = 1000 watts/home. What’s the time span being used to say “powers the average home”? I’m just curious because I’ve always wanted to know how much power is used, and I can’t tell the scope of time to really get an idea of the consumption by this one section of New York, even with the theater district included.
