As our readers know, The Tico Times has experienced significant challenges in recent months due to the death of our owner and publisher, Jonathan Harris, in June. All of us have been very grateful to our readers for the outpouring of support for Jonathan, his family and our organization, and for sticking with us through rough times
I’m very proud and glad to let you know that we are back and ready to embark on The Tico Times’ next chapter under the leadership of our new owner and publisher, Rob Hodel, founder of Tico Travel and CentralAmerica.com. He’s passionate about ensuring that the paper’s 61-year tradition of quality journalism survives and thrives. We’re hard at work preparing new plans and projects to unveil in the months ahead; we can’t wait to share them with you.
All the best from The Tico Times family to yours,
Katherine Stanley Obando, Managing Editor
