This is the front of the box. The set is branded as limited edition which makes sense. It is only available for about a week during the promo period (and only for LEGO Insiders).

There’s the details like number of pieces, recommended age and more.

This is the back of the box. It shows the back of the restaurant as well as some of the details.

This is the top of the box. It shows the actual size of the minifigure. There’s also an area where you can write on. For example, you can write the name of the person you want to gift the set to.

Inside the box, there is an instruction booklet along with three numbered bags. There’s also a small sticker sheet included too. I like numbered bags as it is easy to sort the pieces. In addition, you can build one bag and then pause the build.

The Building Process – 40907 Restaurants of the World Mexico GWP

For the bag 1 build, you first build the minifigure. She has printed torso with an apron.

This is the back of the minifigure.

Bag 1 continues on building the base of the restaurant along with the table.

Just look at the taco station with all the details!

Here’s the top view look of the taco station. Even the flooring is quite detailed.

This is the complete build for bag 1. There’s some extra pieces too.

For Bag 2 build, you continue on with more details. You build the chairs and the overall structure for the restaurant.

For bag 3, you add on more details to the restaurant. You also build the Taqueria Sign. Its a pretty cool sign as it resembles the actual taco.

I developed this complete survival guide to help you decide not just on the rides but also on how to handle your kids when at the park. Touring LEGOLAND (California, US | Florida, US | New York, US | United Kingdom | Denmark | Germany) with toddlers comes with many emotions. One minute, they are excited, and the next minute, you’ll be handling a crying baby.

Picking the rides is one of the first things you’ll do, and Dino Valley is one I can vouch for at any time and any day. It is safe for toddlers and works well for their young minds.

As for other things, you’ll have to be prepared to deal with the fallouts. One such is having to change their clothes, for which the resort has dutifully provided a care center. But from my experience, I believe you’ll spend a great deal of the day dealing with their tantrums.

Packing for the Trip

When it comes to packing, my go-to approach is to be equipped but mobile. Starting with strollers, you can go with the ones at the park or bring yours. I recommend the latter for two reasons:

The strollers at the park are available on a first-come, first-served basis
Your kids will be more familiar with the strollers you bring from home

With a familiar stroller, your kid can fall asleep easily. They will also feel more relaxed as you push them around.

If you plan on getting a few splashes on you and your toddlers, I recommend you pack the following:

Water shoes to prevent burnt feet in hot weather
Thin, microfiber towels, as they take up less space in your bag
A full change of clothes, including socks

Food is another area you’ll have to consider when packing for your trip. LEGOLAND California and the other parks allow small, single-portion snacks and water. I wouldn’t advise you to go beyond that, as I’ve seen people come to the park with large coolers. Keep in mind that this resort is not a picnic location.

You can pack minifigures as well, and it is something I encourage the kids to do. Staff members at the park typically have one pinned to their badges. As such, your kids can trade the minifigures. And I’ve seen some kids go home with rare finds.

My Best Tips and Tricks When Exploring LEGOLAND With Toddlers

I have a few tips, and they include the following:

The Wait and Play Zones

Large crowds are common when visiting LEGOLAND. You can avoid most of them by choosing specific days and periods, such as during workdays. However, I understand that most parents are free during the weekends and holidays.

The large crowds at the park equal long waiting lines. You can use the mobile app to avoid them, but if you are caught in one, the building stations are your best bet at keeping your toddlers in check.

Your toddlers can play with the LEGO bricks at these stations and come up with creative builds. This approach will keep them occupied and contained. And even better, they’ll play in an enclosed area.

A few rides that I know have building or play stations include the following:

The Dragon
LEGO NINJAGO the Ride

Focus More on Dino Valley/DUPLO Park

I’ll pick Dino Valley or the DUPLO Park any day. For me, they have rides that go well with toddlers. They have safe and equally entertaining rides. Hence, I recommend you focus more on these sections during your tour of LEGOLAND with toddlers.

I love Dino Valley because it is adventurous, and toddlers love to explore. The bricktastic dinosaurs will also make for fun sightseeing as they move along the trails.

You’ll find Dino Valley behind SEA LIFE Aquarium on the left side of the main entrance. Some of the epic rides you take with your toddlers are as follows:

DUPLO Little Dino Tail

If you pick LEGOLAND California for your trip, this ride is a banger to start with. It is adventurous, and your kids will have to bring their A-game investigative skills to find the park’s cutest DUPLO dinosaur. They’ll have to follow the clues.

DUPLO Splash & Play

I’ll recommend you include a little water play in your tour. And for that, I have the perfect spot at the Duplo Splash & Play section. Trust me, a little splash here and there will be fun for the kids. And LEGOLAND has made sure the section is safe enough for them.

You’ll get intermittent water sprouts and interactive water elements. But perhaps the most fun part will be the larger-than-life animals available. Also, there is a soft deck to keep your toddlers safe.

The DUPLO Valley Schoolhouse

For something more educational, the DUPLO Valley Schoolhouse is your best bet. It features an interactive touchscreen that your kids can use to practice numbers and letters. They can also explore future careers or opt for other soft-play activities.

The DUPLO Valley Schoolhouse is available in LEGOLAND Florida. If you are in the LEGOLAND California Resort, the closest to this in terms of educational value will be the driving school.

Have a Home Base to Calm the Tantrums

If your toddlers do not give you any trouble during the trip, I’ll be shocked. That’s something I don’t get to see every day, whenever I visit LEGOLAND with toddlers.

The best thing you can do is to have a section you can fall back to when they start throwing tantrums. Again, DUPLO Valley and the Dino Valley are my best recommendations. They offer calm attractions in gated areas. Even better, the toddlers will feel more in control since the rides are designed for them.

You can also use the wait-and-play areas in between rides. These sections can engage them, especially those with LEGO bricks.

Set up Safety Protocols

Kids are bound to wander off, as I’m sure you know by now. I’ve seen this happen, and it is one of the things you have to prepare for.

A few things I will do before and during the tour include the following:

Use visual IDs by dressing them in bright, matching colors (this approach will help them stand out in the crowd).
You can write your phone number on a temporary wristband or a safety tat. Doing so will help others and the LEGOLAND staff to reach you easily.
Take a photo of your toddlers when you arrive. That way, you’ll have an exact image of what they look like. And if you change their clothes during the tour, take another picture as well.

Get Your Lunch Early

Lunch is something you’ll have to deal with, even if you came with snacks. However, what you should consider even more is when you go for it.

Most people would go during noon, but that’s not exactly the best time, from my numerous observations. I’d rather go around 11:30 a.m. when the line isn’t long.

All LEGOLAND parks in the USA have impressive dining options, both on-site and off-site. And the best part is that they have toddler-friendly meals and snacks as well. And if the policy allows, you can allow your kids to share from your plate.

A Movie or Miniland for Midday

Midday is when you can expect the highest temperature during your trip. As such, it is best that you take your toddlers indoors. And the best way to do that is to go see a movie or walk through Miniland USA.

If movie times aren’t available during this period, then Miniland USA should be your top choice. It doesn’t stimulate toddlers like the outdoor rides and attractions. Even better, your kids can wander safely within the section, or you can walk them down slowly.

I recommend you use the mobile app to see the movie times. The 4D movies are typically in dark, air-conditioned auditoriums, which are good for relaxing the kids.

End the Day at the SEA LIFE Aquarium

Even for adults, I will always recommend the SEA LIFE Aquarium as the last point of call before leaving the park. This section is calm, educational, and fun, especially for kids who are 4 years old.

If you visit the SEA LIFE Aquarium at LEGOLAND with toddlers, you can effortlessly stroll with them as they view the sea creatures. You can also take brief pauses to learn about the creatures when the divers show up.

Just like Miniland USA, there is no need to rush when you get to the SEA LIFE Aquarium. Take your time, and I’m sure your kids will be tired at this point.

Important Things to Note for Your Trip

One of the most important things to note is that LEGOLAND is a cashless resort. You’ll have to use a credit or debit card to make payments inside the park. But if you don’t want that, you can exchange your cash for prepaid cards within or outside the resort.

Another thing you can do to get through the day with your toddlers is to start at the back of the park. By the time you complete your tour, you’ll be closer to the entrance. Then, you can effortlessly stroll out to your car or the hotel.

Speaking of the hotel, you can book a stay if you want a 2-day trip or vacation at the resort. The rooms are LEGO-themed as well, which is good for the kids. And, depending on the hotel, your kids can participate in treasure hunts.

Staying in the hotel adds many other fun activities for your kids. And they can swim as well in the hotel pool, which is heated, by the way.

If it’s been a while since you’ve seen The Book of Boba Fett (Chapter 5) or Season 3 of The Mandalorian, the N-1 is the ship Peli Motto fixed up for Din Djarin after his original ship (the Razor Crest) was destroyed.

Display-wise, this ship is going to look great on just about any shelf. It is 8.5 inches high, 26.5 inches long, and 15.5 inches wide. It’s large enough to be an impressive display piece but not so large that it requires you to reorganize your furniture. LEGO’s new One Piece animated special is set to release on September 29, 2026, just a few months after One Piece season 2 premiers on March 10, 2026. Showdown with Captain Smoker (75642): This set takes us to the streets of Loguetown where the straw hats first landed at the gateway to the Grand Line. Tony Tony Chopper (75643): This set is for display. You get a fully posable character that comes with its own stand, a plaque, and a few fun accessories. This set has 577 pieces and is currently priced at $69.99.
Dorry vs. Brogy – Giants of Little Garden (75644): This set is both a play-focused set and a display set. There are two large brick-built giants that you can pose in various positions, and to add layers of story-telling potential, there is also Zoro, Usopp, Mr.3, and Miss Goldenweek as minifigures. The entire set is comprised of 733 pieces and the current cost is $79.99.
Battle at Drum Castle (75645): This set is a large, multi-storey castle made from 1,038 pieces. Chopper’s lab is on the second floor and you’ll find the throne room on the third floor. Along with the castle, you also get six minifigures: Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Vivi, and Wapol. This set is currently priced at $99.99.
Garp’s Marine Battleship (75646): The largest of the 6 LEGO One Piece sets being released this time around is Garp’s Marine Battleship. It is made with 1,705 pieces and costs $169.99. It is the flagship set and it comes with 8 minifigures. The build itself is pretty impressive for being a 9+ set. There are five sails, a marine flag, and a lot of great detail in the internal sections to enhance the playability.
