<p>The tool used here (Diffit) is a useful tool teachers can use if they want to differentiate or adapt the same activity (a text, a video, etc) to different levels and in order to achieve different aims. The tool is also available online.</p>

<p>Ši mokomoji priemonė skirta integruotai pasaulio pažinimo ir anglų kalbos pamokai (CLIL metodika)&nbsp;<strong>3 klasei.&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;Priemonės turinys parengtas vadovaujantis pradinio ugdymo bendrąja programa, ypač gamtamokslinio ugdymo sritimi. Mokymo(si) veiklos orientuotos į vandens ciklo pažinimą, jo etapų supratimą bei vandens svarbos gamtai ir žmogui suvokimą. Integruojamos anglų kalbos temos „Gamta“ ir „Mano namai“, kryptingai plėtojamas mokinių dalykinis ir bendrinis žodynas anglų kalba. Pamokos metu mokiniai, dirbdami skirtingose veiklos „stotelėse“, atlieka įvairaus pobūdžio užduotis: pažintines, praktines ir kūrybines. Užduotys diferencijuojamos atsižvelgiant į mokinių gebėjimus, todėl sudaromos galimybės kiekvienam mokiniui siekti individualios pažangos.&nbsp;</p>

Tekste pateikiami faktai ir pavyzdžiai leidžia mokiniams susipažinti su pasaulinėmis vandens naudojimo problemomis. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Examples &#8211; Digital skills and English language teaching</h2>



<p>Now I will share some of examples from eTwinning projects. I suppose there are 2 most likeable activities for students, e.i. to create an avatar and the logo of the project. These activities can be completed using Canva, Padlet, TikTok and other apps.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Media Creation Projects &#8211; Digital skills and English language teaching</h2>



<p>Assign tasks involving video, audio, or digital storytelling. For video, audio and digital storrytelling, there is a great number of apps. For example, for video, I started using PowToon 10 years ago. Now our smart phones and AI can do everything, for audio our smart phones have voice recorder and for digital storytelling, I have used Sutori, Learning Apps.org, Book creator, Padlet etc.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pen Pals &#8211; Digital skills and English language teaching</h2>



<p>Set up exchanges with students from other countries using mail. For example, creative short-term projects as sending Christmas or Easter cards and writing traditions of your family or country and sending wishes. It is not ordinary for students today but after receiving an envelope from other country, getting paper not digital cards and seeing their happy faces worth it. And it can be done in eTwinning.</p>

<p>Problems can be solved using: Linoit, PowToon, etc. At first students created their group‘s logo, then introduced the topic, gave 2 examples and included photos.</p>

<p>The main challenge is that teachers must stay updated with technology trends.</p>



<p>The challenges of integrating digital skills into education include significant disparities in access to technology, which can hinder students&#8217; ability to develop essential digital competencies. Additionally, many educators feel unprepared or lack confidence in teaching these skills, highlighting the need for ongoing professional development and support to effectively incorporate digital literacy into the curriculum.</p>

<p>To reveal educators&#8217; good practices in preparing methodological tools related to the lighthouse theme, which would help improve the learning outcomes of various students&#8217; abilities.</p>

<p>The tool is an English language learning material in the form of a short story which was prepared as a Web 2.0 tool named Storyjumper. The tool is intended for A2 lvl classes and can be used for 12-18 age group. The main goal of the tool is to enhance English language skills through reading comprehension with a thematic story. It will improve target group’s reading, vocabulary, speaking and writing skills. The story is about the friendship that develops through cooperation between a lighthouse attendant and a fisherman. <p>Taip pat moksleiviai sieks aiškiai paaiškinti savo švyturio dizaino pasirinkimo priežastis ir kaip jie tenkina jūrų laivybos poreikius XXI amžiuje.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The lesson is aimed at teenagers at level B1+/B2, working in smaller groups. This is a class of thirteen 15 year-old students who enjoy working in groups. Both tools used are available online and are free to use after registration.
