Rich Internet Applications are here and they are here to stay, and while Adobe's AIR (previously known as Apollo) has been available for Linux, now available through Adobe Labs is the Adobe Flex Builder for Linux. The Adobe Flex Builder Linux Alpha is designed to help developers build Flex applications on Linux. This is an early release intended for testing and feedback purposes. This Linux edition is based upon Flex Builder 3 (codenamed Moxie) and among its features are code coloring, code hints, and AJAX Bridge. The Flex Builder IDE is built upon Eclipse and can be downloaded from Adobe.
