I have decided to restart writing to the blog. With a twist. Everything will be written using dendron and published as static web. ( This post is last one on the wordpress )

## Projects that i will hopefully tackle

0) Creating the static blog

Since i’m keeping my notes organized in Dendron i want to be able to publish some of them ( labeled blog ) to static website. Why ? To continue my old blog cop.tfm.ro. Things that i need to figure out:

• * Is possible to export current cop.tfm.ro to .md format ( keeping the permalinks active and having GA )
• * Proper labeling in dendron
• * Automatic addition of post image
• * Copy .md files + images to a hugo instance
• * Trigger hugo to generate the static website with the chosen theme
• * Copy content to the final destination ( copy should be secure )

1) ESP32 generic servo controller

This will be a generic servo controller (using PCA 9685) with the following features:

• * OTA
• * Individual servo calibration via web interface and should be stored in non volatile memory
• * Control of the servomotors will be done via a rest API and also via usb connection
• * Code should follow MVC patterns and use TDD

Codebase should be generated by AI ( gemini, chatgpt or claude )

2) ESP32 drone

Indoor flying cheap drone. Controlled via a central brain station. Commands should be in swarm like comms.

3) Courier pin display and record

Use and esp32 with display to display messages to couriers that arrives ar the door. Use esp32 camera to record short videos of the courier handling the package.

4) Build upon 1 and finish walking mini robot

Build upon generic servo and finish software for controlling the walking mini robot.

5) Build the lego train and see how we can use both duplo train and “normal” lego trains

6) Record metrics for things in the house

Expand homeassistant. Create per room sensors ( temp, humidity, light, local room sound )

7) Expand storage, improve/upgrade internal network

Find a way to store more stuff. Current storage space is running out.

Improve network so video editing workflows should be possible at better speed

• 250 g zahăr alb
• 25 g zahăr vanilat
• 100 g unt gras cu cel puțin 80% grăsime
• 300 g smântână lichidă pentru frișcă cu cel puțin 30% grăsime

Zahărul se topește într-o cratiță uscată și se lasă să se caramelizeze. Când zahărul s-a caramelizat, se ia de pe foc și se adaugă untul rece, tăiat în cuburi. Se amestecă cu mare grijă, până când untul se topește, apoi se adaugă zahărul vanilat și smântâna lichidă pentru frișcă. Compoziția se pune pe foc și se lasă timp de un sfert de ceas sau până se desprinde de pe fundul vasului. În acest timp, se amestecă constant, pentru a nu se arde la fund.
Se toarnă totul într-o tavă tapetată cu hârtie de copt și se lasă la răcit. Când s-a răcit complet, se dă la frigider pentru cel puțin o oră. Caramelele se taie cu un cuțit umezit și pătrățele. Se savurează simple sau ca decor pentru înghețată sau torturi.

The whole idea of sabatier reaction is to produce methane from Co2 and hydrogen.

It all starts with watter ( H2O ) and CO2 . First split watter in H2 and O via electrolysis . Second is to combine H2 and Co2 to obtain CH4 and H2O. The reaction is :

2H2O -> O2 +2H2 . then Co2 + 2h2 + 2h2 -> 2H2O + Ch4

They seems to use

• aalborg GFC-17 for gas regulation
• heating tape ( Looks like something like this: https://www.omega.nl/pptst/STH_SST_SWH.html )
• to control the reactor they seems to use ESP32 micro controllers wifi for communication protocol.

Interesting enough is they use long range radio protocol . But it doen’t state if is LORA , sigfox or LTE-m

I wonder if this kind of reactor can be build in DIY manner. So far i found no open hardware schematics for it. But it would be interesting to see what the future will bring

I have been dreaming about building robots since I was 9 years old. Back then I was reading a lot of Asimov’s books. This was happening around 1980 or so. Unfortunately back then there was still communist regime in Romania and access to lathe machines and materials were almost impossible. Fortunately electronics circuits were available in the underground market. So i learned electronics. Later I focused on computers and software. 

I’ll fast forward in order not to bore you. Two years ago I got my first 3d printer. First was bought at work and shared with my colleagues. Quickly I realized the potential of actually building things and the idea that lurked in the back of my head surfaced again. It was time to try to build robots. 

 I searched the internet for the projects that would be close to my ideal vision and I found Inmoov project. So I decided to start from there and modify to suit my needs.

What i want is a robot that would be:

• Human size robot
• Human like robot
• Safe to be used by children
• Reliable
• Easy to remote drive it in telepresence kind of way
• Easy to replace defective parts 
• Each limb to have it’s own electronics, motors and “intelligence”

    My friends when first saw what I’m building asked : “what are you going to do with it?” . I usually have the following answer for them “I’ll consider it done when it will be able to take the command: “get me a beer from the fridge” and the robot to be able to navigate itself to the fridge, open it, get a beer and bring it to me. 

    But it’s way more than that. Let’s consider current global trends. Humanity started to push towards multi-planetary living. That means that a lot of robots will be needed in order to perform necessary tasks for mining, building and maintaining off world colonies. And those robots will need to be autonomous to a point and to be able to be controlled remotely by operators. 

    Not to mention that some of the robots are needed back here on earth to assist children in learning or elderly.

    So to put it in simple words … “I’ll be happy when we will have open and easy to build and easy to control robots on another planet”

• 500g carne de manzat cubulete
• 500g fasole verde pastai
• 1 borcan de jumatati rosii ( home made )
• Ulei de masline
• sare, piper, cimbru, busuioc, foaie de dafin
• 1 cana de vin rosu

Cum luasem niste carne de manzat am zis sa facem ceva cu el . Ceva care sa nu necesite multa bibileala si nici sa stam la paza sa nu se arda. Prin urmare am hotarat: manzat cu fasole verde la cuptor.

Prepararea a fost relativ simpla . Am pus peste carne jumatate de cana de vin si mirodeniile . Evident ca se pot folosi si alte mirodenii pe principiul : dupa gust coane, dupa gust. Lasat 10 minute sa se patrunda un pic carnea. In acest timp am pus in tava un pic de ulei de masline si apoi am pus fasolea pastai. Peste fasole am pus frumos rosiile din borcan. Deasupra am pus carnea si am dat-o la cuptor . 150 grade zice cuptorul meu circa 30 minute. Din cind in cind o mai stropesc cu vin sa nu se usuce prea tare.

Dupa 30 minute am scos sa vad rezultatul. Am luat o bucata de carne si am taiat-o ca sa vad daca e facuta.

Dupa cum se poate observa in imagine la mine inca nu e facuta asa ca am bagat la loc la cuptor . Si cu aceasta ocazie am mai adaugat vin ca sa nu devina prea uscat Nu. Niciodata nu e prea mult vin :))

E .. Si acuma o mai las inca 20 minute si o urmaresc din cand in cand. Am uitat sa va spun dar scriu in timp ce fac mancarea. La urmatoarea reteta poate fac si un live stream , desi mult din timp nu stau pe linga cuptor sa-l pazesc . Pentru asta s-au inventat timerele.

Si pentru ca s-ar putea ca la un moment dat linkul sa nu mai fie activ o sa atasez si fisierul .STL aici.

Dupa printul 3d aferent ( pe o imprimanta Tevo tarantula ) rezultatul:

• Stabilitate – o societate pasnica, una in care sa nu existe conflicte mari si in care eventualele divergentele sa se rezolve prin alternanta electorala. Asta mi-ar da un grad de certitudine ca tot ce as construi ar si ramine construit / folosit de generatiile urmatoare.
• Predictibilitate – seturile de acţiuni din partea tarii / guvernelor  si  pachetele legislative sa poata fi anticipate de mediul de afaceri. O legislatie fiscala care se schimba mai des de 3 – 5 ani se stie ca este daunatoare pentru orice mediu de afaceri normal.
• Minimal intervention – interactiunea intre om si stat sa fie minima, cat mai usoara iar pachetele de legi foarte simple ( era o vorba : daca o lege nu incape pe o foaie A4 nu e o lege buna )
• Transparenta decizitionala – Toate informatiile sa fie public accesibile intr-un format electronic si disponibile oricand.
• Sistem medical normal – Stim toti care am avut “placerea” de a sta intr-un spital de stat in Romania cit de greoaie sint procedurile, cite lipsuri sint . EUROSTAT  plaseaza Romania pe primul loc in ierarhia tarilor in care zeci de mii de pacienti cu sanse de supravietuire mor anual in spitale.
• Sistem de transport normal – Nu exista o autostrada cap coada pentru a iesi din capitala pina la o austostada catre centrul europei. Exemplu: Bucuresti – Arad  ( 6 ore si 45 minute ) versus Szeged – Linz ( 5 ore ). Distantele sint similare. Iar durata transportului de marfa dintr-o tara in alta este unul din factorii care fac diferenta intre business-uri.

Lista ar putea continua mult si bine.

Cum de am ajuns la Estonia si la e-residency ?  Citeam acum ceva vreme despre tehnologia blockchain . Inerent am ajuns sa citesc despre o mica tara ( membra UE ) si pe care toata lumea o vede ca “most technologically advanced in the world”. Asta m-a pus pe ganduri si am inceput sa citesc mai mult . Asa am aflat ca:

• incepind cu 1997 -> 99% din serviciile publice sint disponibile sub forma de electornica ( e-services ) . Ce inseamna asta ? in majoritatea cazurilor totul se poate rezolva cu tastatura fara a fi nevoie sa mai treci fizic pe la vre-un serviciu public si sa completezi cereri / sa semnezi acte / sa stai la cozi etc. Limitarea birocratiei ? O DAAAA. ( cit timp pierzi in Romania ca sa schimbi permisul de conducere daca a expirat ? 1 zi ? 2 zile ?  Sigur ai luat in calcul si vizita medicala ? ( daca o faci pe bune ) Dar drumurile pina in Pipera ?  )
• incepind cu 2000 -> Plata taxelor online . Practic poti plati toate taxele dintr-un singur loc cu un singur click si toata procedura dureaza 3 – 5 minute. Tu cit timp pierzi pe an platind taxe / amenzi etc ?
• 2001 – X-road . Linkarea tuturor bazelor de date publice intre ele. Dar fara a centraliza si a avea un singur mamut care sa crape…  Baze de date distribuite care pot fi interogate intre ele functie de necesitati.  In Romania cam cit timp ai pierdut pe la medicul de familie ca nu mergea sistemul de carduri de sanatate  ?
• 2001 – Digital ID – Card national cu chip pe care fisierele sint stocate cu public key encription de 2048 biti si acest car poate functiona ca “proof of ID” in mediul digital .  Tu cite parole si tokenuri ai ?
• 2005 – Internet voting – Nu conteaza unde esti . Atata vreme cit ai ID-card-ul cu tine si acces la internet poti vota. Si asta fara sa mai trebuiasca sa organizezi sectii de votare, sa urmaresti sa nu se fraudeze etc. Iar asta inseamna ca mortii nu pot vota si nici nu pot sa se duca cu autocarele sa voteze de n ori.
• 2007 – Public safety – Angajatii de  la serviciile de securitate pot afla de la distanta locul unui accident cu precizie de 5 metri. Iar peste 90% din apelurile de urgenta se raspunde in maxim 10 secunde .  Politia estoniana nu mai opresc soferii pentru verificari tehnice pentru ca au deja datele relvante in chipurile de pe masina. Productivitate dubla , posibilitate de coruptie mica.
• 2008 – Blockchain tehnology si e-health . Toate fisele medicale ale pacientilor au fost digitizare si introduse in sistem . Pacientul este DETINATORUL datelor iar sistemul blockchain asigura ca aceste date nu pot fi modificate de nimeni. De asemenea accesul la date ( cine / cind / de ce ) este permanent stocat in blockchain . Asta inseamna pacientul poate da acces unui doctor la intregul istoric medical iar acesta poate lua decizii mai bune.  De cite ori ai umblat dupa tine cu dosarele cu rezultatele analizelor si cu filmele de la radiografii ?
• 2014 – e-residency

Astea au fost motivele initiale care pentru mine au fost suficiente pentru a adera la acest sistem si de a ma face e-rezident.

Al doilea set de motive tin strict de business si le voi detalia in urmatorul post.

1) Faza care mi s-a parut extrem de funny a fost ca a trebuit sa merg in Viena sa imi ridic cardul Vorba ceea … “Am plecat Bucurestean si-am venit Estonian”

2) Cum arata sistemul din punct de vedere hardware? Simplu si usor de utilizat. Cind ridici pachetul zici ca ai primit cadoul de craciun. Iar in pachet nu sint dulciuri dar avem asa:

• Cardul
• Cititorul de card
• Codul Pin1 , Pin 2 si PUK

Iar cititorul de card in forma de cruce ar putea sa-i linisteasca pe amatorii de teorii ale conspiratii de genul “dar citeste card invers” . Dragilor este o cruce peste un card . Deci totul e sub control. De 666 nu l-am verificat dar la prima vedere e ok ( *smile* )

Dupa ce am citit am decis sa raspund punctual:

• 1) “favorizată de neglijența şi, eventual, de corupţia unor autorităţi locale.”
  Si pentru apararea democratiei “eventual” sa nu ved cite borduri s-au schimbat numai in Bucuresti, tot eventual sa inchid ochii la exploatarile de gaze de sist, sa inchid ochii la Rosia Montana,
  sa inchid ochii la comportamentul din piata al Microsoft si multe altele. EVENTUAL imi pare rau. Dar NU.
• 2) “a izbucnit o criza politica” – Eu i-as spune criza politica generata de o criza economica. Detaliez mai jos de ce.
• 3) “România înregistrează de trei ani cea mai constantă şi solidă creştere economică din Uniunea Europeană. Gradul de satisfacţie al unei mari părți din societate este justificat de o creştere a veniturilor însoţită de o scădere a preţurilor de consum.”
  S-a plimbat cineva in ultimul an prin Bucuresti ?
  Afacerile mici au cam disparut, magazinele de cartier si-au inchis portile unul cite unul. Terasele din cartiere la fel.Alt exemplu: piata de media este in degringolada complet, publisherii si-au redus drastic continutul produs local , iar agentiile de publicitate o duc de pe zi pe alta.
  Investiile in tehnologie s-au redus dramatic. CAPEX’ul din multe firme este pe 0.
  Si cele 3 tendinte sint: “costuri 0 , costuri 0, costuri 0”.
  Multe firme restructureaza ca sa supravietuiasca sau sa fie pe profit. Si restructureaza in dulcele stil romanesc. Dau afara oameni iar cei care ramin preiau si munca celor care pleaca.
  Sclavagismul este tolerat intr-o democratie ?

  Care este cresterea economica REALA in conditiile in care Statul este partener 50-50 in orice business din Romania prin taxe ?

  Pe de alta parte a auzit cineva despre:
  Retehnologizare, DataCentere de cloud in Romania ? Fabrici de fibra optica, componente de IT pe undeva la capitolul investitii strategice ?
  Eu nu.
  A auzit cineva despre atragerea clientilor din afara Romaniei catre servicii furnizate de Romania ?
  Eu nu prea ( stiu prea putine cazuri ).

  Haideti sa eliminam complet taxele si sa facem programul “Adopta un Bugetar“. Si in cadrul acestui program bugetarii sa fie platiti direct de firme.
  Cu siguranta vor fi multi care vor automatiza procesele si multe posturi vor fi inchise pe principiul (parafrazat ce-i drept):
  “Start working or I will replace you with a SMALL shell script“. Eu asa as face cu siguranta.

• 4) “Această fugă de răspundere a guvernării i-a permis preşedintelui să declanşeze criza de regim. O criză artificială, fără nicio premisă de ordin politic, economic sau social”Fuga de raspundere este sportul national al politicului din Romania. A fost un referendum VALID prin care s-a validat reducerea numarului de parlamentari. A fost implementat ? Nu. Din vina cui ? A societatii civile ? A democratiei ? Nu. A dictaturii parlamentare si a dictaturii politice pina la urma.Credeti ca mie mi-e sila de politic pentru ca politicul e imaculat si performant si trage tara in sus ?Cind sint in strada 10.000 de oameni eu as zice ca este o criza atat politica, economica si sociala. Sau poate doar unii dintre noi au vazut citi oameni au iesit in primele zile iar apoi cind au aparut incercarile de manipulare s-au retras in case cu bun simt si decenta ?

  In virtutea celor de mai sus eu nu ma simt reprezentat de politic in Romania. Pentru mine politicul actual este nereprezentativ si alternativa tehnocrata este de mii de ori mai buna decit orice alternativa politica.

Acesta este punctul meu de vedere. Daca punctul meu de vedere jigneste pe cineva imi cer scuze anticipat.

Candidatii ii stim . In citeva ore incepe votarea. Ce va fi dupa ? , cine cu cine voteaza ? Irelevant.

Ce este relevant pentru mine este puterea internetului in Romania. Publicitatea clasica versus publicitatea pe internet. Zelist-ul a postat  un articol foarte interesant: Afinitatile candidatilor la presedintia Romaniei pe Facebook

Sincer ma asteptam sa fie un pic alte cifre pe acolo mai ales ca este foarte practicata “cumpararea” de fani pe diverse pagini prin deverse metode . Cei care ati comentat in 2007 s-a schimbat ceva de atunci ? Sau tot vot de blam ?

One way is the following . Seems pretty logical to me too. As you figured out you after you create the database you need to do a migrate in order to have the needed database tables. However this tables are empty.
Let’s fill them with an admin account.

First we need to create a migration:

Migrations are a very powerfull tool in yii framework 2. You can alter database with it, you can insert test or live data . And sometime you can revert the modifications.

Ce nu am luat in calcul sint cheltuielile cu activitatea ( consumabile , curent , materii prime etc ) .

Dar sa recapitulam:  din suma de 3000 RON care intra in firma … 1537 RON se duc la stat.   52%?  Si asta doar din taxele directe.

Tema: realizarea unui eseu despre Romania.
Premii: Marele premiu al acestui concurs este de 5000Euro , 2 premii de 1000E, 4 premii de 300E si 10 premii de 100E

Tema acestui concurs este realizarea unui eseu despre Romania intr-un mod pozitiv, abordand teme filozofice, literare sau stiintifice prin mijloace originale.

Nu sint impuse nici o linie directoare, si se lasa imaginatia dumneavoastra sa lucreze libera. Intrati complet in atmosfera sarbatorilor de Craciun cu toata bunatatea, candoarea si frumusetea lor si creati un eseu spectaculos, nemaivazut si nemaiauzit in si despre Romania. Un eseu despre Romania care sa arate tot ce este mai frumos si bun in tara noastra, care sa prezinte viziunea Dumneavoastra despre cum este sau cum o vedeti in viitor. Eseul trebuie sa fie unic, sa fie extrem de atractiv, dinamic, sa duca gandul la ideea de viitor.

Azi ciorba de vacuta a la Cop. A la Cop pentru ca eu asa o fac. Sper sa va placa

Ingrediente:

• * carne de vaca taiata fasii ( sau cubulete ) . Eu prefer sa iau o bucata de muschi de vaca si sa o mesteresc eu.
• * 3 morcovi
• * 2 pastarnaci
• * 1 telina
• * 2 cepe
• * 1 borcan de fasole
• * 4 cartofi
• * bors ( daca o doriti acra. merge si fara )
• * Ulei , sare , mirodenii dupa gust
• * verzituri ( patrujel )

Cum se face:

Se pune carnea la fiert. In timp ce fierbe carnea se curata legumele si se taie ( sau se dau prin razatoare ). Eu prefer razatoarea ca merge mai repede. Se scoate spuma de carnea fiarta daca vreti sa obtineti o ciorba “clara”. Dupa ce s-a fiert carnea se adauga in ordine catofii si ceapa , uleiul , sarea si mirodeniile , dupa 10 minute telina , pastarnac-ul si ceapa si se da in clocot. Dupa ce fierb bine ( se verifica cartofii cu o lingura ) se pun fasolea si borsul .  Se mai lasa pe foc 20 minute si apoi se pun verziturile.  Si e gata.

2. Update the machine to latest available server packages

•  disable in /etc/apt/apt.conf signature check. It should look like this:

This major change needed to be done because of the new pcre and since a hell lot of packages depends on it everything needed to be recompiled / updated .

After this i’ll have to:

• recompile the whole KDE again
• create some packages that will fake provide the things neeeded by Chrome
• fix some of the kde packages ( i expect that not all of them will be nice and compile succesfully )
• test / retest everything

And after this we can call the result : TFM Workstation 4.0 Alfa 1

Mi-a parut rau ca a trebuit sa aleg intre ele dar asta e viata. Survival of the fittest ( fattest ) .

Iar astazi arata asa:

Ulterior am ajuns sa citesc despre hydroponics (asta e un alt proiect care ma tententeaza) . Dar nu m-am putut abtine sa nu ma gandesc de ce nu ar creste in mod clasic … Seminte in pamant , udate .. Asa cum se intimpla de mii de ani pe plaiurile mioritice.

Prin urmare am luat seminte de rosii (normale … rosii cherry  n-am gasit la momentul respectiv)  am luat o farfurie de ghiveci pe care am umplut-o cu pamant si am plantat semintele. Trebuie sa fac o precizare . Acest post nu se vrea un post de genul HowTo . Este un post de genul How I did it si este proiect in derulare. O sa adaug la post informatii pe masura ce se intimpla lucruri. Scopul este sa vad daca pot avea rosii crescute in casa si care sint costurile pentru asa ceva.

Departe de calculator este doar partial adevarat pentru ca imediat dupa ce le-am plantat m-am gindit cum as putea sa monitorizez proiectul ( evident de pe calculator ). Iar acest lucru a dus la urmatoarele idei:

1. Un web cam care sa inregistreze tot timpul cum cresc plantele . ( Linux , webcam , ffmpeg -i /dev/video0 poza o data pe minut si apoi facut filmulet din ele )
2. Senzor de umiditate din sol ( inca n-am gasit o solutie decenta pentru asta , daca aveti sugestii …. ) Ideea e sa inregistreze permanent umiditatea din sol , sa faca grafice de umiditate si eventual sa trimita alerte ( cel mai apropiat de asta a fost sa folosesc un arduino )
3. Senzor de temperatura ( la fel ca la punctul 2 . nu am gasit o solutie decenta sa cuplez la desktop senzorii )
4. Irigatie automata ( Asta ar putea fi facuta cu o pompa de acvariu controlata de pc ( din nou gandul ma duce spre arduino ) )

Revenind la proiect … dupa 15 zile sint in stadiul de plantutze crescute … Au cam 4 cm inaltime si cred ca e momentul sa le separ si sa le pun pe fiecare in ghiveci propriu.

Iar video-ul de mai sus mi-a facut pielea de gaina.

Mi-am facut update-ul la Android 2.3.3 pe HTC desire-ul meu. Asta se intimpla acum o saptamina. Toate bune si frumoase cu 2 exceptii:

1. Acum cind scot telefonul din buzunar ori raspunde ori da reject la apel . Si mi s-a intimplat de cel putin 20 ori in ultima perioada. Husa nu i-am luat si nici nu vreau sa-i iau.
2. RTSP playerul are buguri urate. Freeze la imagine , imposibilitate de a iesi din “pause”

Azi am rezolvat prima problema . cu ajutorul lui Copas2 ce a dezvoltat proxymitytoolextension for android. Aplicatia o gasiti aici: http://code.google.com/p/proximitytoolextension/

Faza draguta e ca aplicatia e extrem de mica si din cit am testat e si stabila si rezolva problema. Bine … a fost o munca de cercetare destul de asidua pret de citeva ore … pentru ca pe google problema e intilnita la mai multe telefoane si relevanta unor cautari de genul:

• “htc desire disable slide answer”
• “htc desire change sensitivity”
• “htc desire change lock “

In schimb spre uimirea mea urmatorul search a functionat cum trebuie:

• “android desire answer call from pocket”

Sper sa va ajute si pe voi. In curind voi incerca sa atac si problema a doua. Desi pare mult mai spinoasa si mai delicata. Dar nu pot sa nu ma uit la live-urile powered by TFM

Doom Gothic Metal , un stil de muzica despre care nu as fi putut spune foarte mult pina acum. Acum pot spune ca imi place. Cvintetul BAMBA  ( Bodan , Andra , Mihai , Bogdan , Ana ) s-a deplasat la Alba Iulia , la festivalul Dark Bombastic. Sa te deplasezi in Romania de azi de la Bucuresti la Alba Iulia via Brasov ( a trebuit sa-l pescuim din Brasov pe Bogdan ) este o adevarata provocare. Drumuri proaste , drumuri in reparatii , limitari de viteza si semafoare . Pina aici nimic nou ca doar traim in aceasta minunata tara ( pacat ca e locuita ).

Am reusit sa ajungem fix la 7 seara cu vre-o 4 minute inainte de a incepe sa cinte Draconian. Baietii au o istorie de 17 ani de activitate chiar daca nu au scos foarte multe albume. Au inceput concertul cu :

Suna exceptional de bine live.

Ce mi-a placut in mod deosebit a fost faptul ca am fost lasati sa intram cu aparatele de fotografiat. Organizatorii au lasat accesul cu aproape orice. Ce nu aveai voie sa introduci la concert era mincare / bautura. Organizarea a fost buna . Sunetul a fost de nota 9 din 10. Bautura a fost la discretie. De la bere la coniac. Cu mincarea au fost mici probleme daaar am mincat pilaf facut la cazan ( gulas n-am prins ) . Mi-a adus aminte de vremurile cind mergeam pe munte cu ceaunul dupa noi . Cei de la Draconian au stat intre fani dupa ce si-au terminat show-ul si au stat de vorba cu mai toata lumea. Au stat sa manince cu restul publicului. Practic dupa ce si-au terminat show-ul au devenit simpli spectatori si s-au bucurat impreuna cu toata lumea de restul de trupe din cadrul festivalului. Pe mine asta m-a impresionat foarte mult.

Eu personal sint foarte curios ce impact va avea in piata. Daca va reusi sa schimbe obieciurile de a downloada torente sau de a vedea pe diverse alte site-uri pirat filmele ramine de vazut. Oricum incepe o lupta mult mai zdravana impotriva pirateriei. Asta e clar.

Spre pura mea desfatare si groaza vecinilor mei manelisti merge impecabil. Acuma am o arma cu care ii pot combate cu succes. Incepand de miine ca momentan inca ii mai las sa se desfasoare cu gutza de maimutza.

Ma bate gindul ca date viitoare sa-mi fac provizii din urmatoarea planta ( inca nu m-am lamurit ce e ) astfel incit bestia sa nu mai atenteze la mincarea mea.

										A weekend project. I purchased a long time ago a solar charger for my Samsung phone. But the old phone got obsolete. so for a while i forgot about the solar charger. Until today when i got the idea to use it to charge my HTC Desire with it. It was a simple job . All i needed was an old usb cable , an old connector from the solar kit , a soldering gun and some glue. The result is not very pretty but it does the job. When i will have some free time i will make it look nice , but it’s not a priority.


Cut the usb cable in half and keep only the part with the motherboard adapter
Solder the connector ( red on red , black on black ) to the wire .
Isolate the wires using some adhesive tape.
Connect it to the Desire phone and … it works.

What still needs to be done: To buy some velcro and attach the solar charger to my car .

La inceputul lunii aprilie un grup de hackeri intitulat Anonymous anuntau ca vor ataca Sony network. Dupa cum se poate observa le-a reusit . Primul articol l-am descoperit pe blog la Florin Andrei.

Grupul Anonymous a postat pe 5 aprilie un manifest video pe youtube in care trasmit o lista de doleante catre Sony:

Iar pe 20 aprilie dupa cum spuneam au determinat sony sa opreasca pe termen nelimitat PSN-ul . Un alt articol interesant in care se prezinta un pic mai bine grupul Anonymous  l-am gasit pe playtech.ro. Nu in ultimul rand pe Yoda.ro este un articol care descrie impactul actiunii celor de la anonymous.

Prin urmare nu-mi pot importa caracterul din Dragon Age 1. Trebuie sa astept sa-si revina. Cautind pe net am gasit pe blogul lor oficial asta:

External intrusion ? Adica un hackerash mic mic ? Inca un George Hotz ?
Problema pare a fi mult mai drastica decit lasa sa se inteleaga Sony. Trei zile de downtime in preajma Pastelui ? Nu suna bine deloc pentru vinzarile Sony. Poate cu aceasta ocazie o sa deschisa di Playstation Network Romania desi asta e un vis prea frumos sa fie adevarat.

Ca sa evite problemele de genul asta scriptul de brat ar trebui pus in footer-ul fiecarui site. Dar … Aceasta minunata decizie ar trebui sa vina de la brat. Oricum trebuie sa recunosc ca cel care a venit cu ideea de a pune scriptul in headerul site-urilor e un meserias. Ca vorba aia .. de ce sa nu dam jos juma’ din site-urile din .ro daca putem.

										Atunci cind incepi sa utilizezi redmine in fiecare zi te lovesti integrarea svn – redmine. In mod normal serverul de svn si redmine-ul se pun pe masini separate si fiecare cu sistemul lui de gestionare de proiecte  / useri. Cind ai multi developeri , unii care vin , altii care pleaca , altii uita parole,  problemele de gestionare a sistemului pot deveni serioase. Redmine-ul rezolva aceste probleme prin:

1) Integrarea redmine cu ActiveDirectory ( sau cu un alt server LDAP ). Am spus integrare cu AD pentru ca in majoritatea firmelor medii / mari exista AD.  Asta inseamna ca sarcina crearii de useri / intretinerea de parole / access controlul / password policy se muta catre Active Directory sau LDAP. Ca avantaj major este ca administrarea poate fi centralizata.  Utilizatorul  poate sa isi schimbe singur parola ,  poate fi fortat sa schimbe parola o data la x luni si se poate impune o politica de parole ( n caractere din care m cifre si p semne speciale ). 2) Integrarea si crearea automata a tree-urilor de svn atunci cind un proiect nou se adauga in redmine. Asta inseamna ca administratorul de redmine nu trebuie sa creeze de mina tree-ul de svn , sa adauge useri la svn scutind mult timp. Niste baieti “veseli” s-au gindit ca ar fi interesant sa se joace de-a phishingul intr-un mod ingenios. Au pus paginile de phising pe site-uri care seamana cu mfinante.ro si au lansat mass mailuri catre oameni cu statul va datoreaza taxe. Iar omul trebuia sa isi dea datele de card. E cel mai ingenios mod de a face phishing pe care l-am vazut pina acuma.
Si iar am dat sincron pe TV. Rezultatul mai jos:


“Statul are sa va restituie 473 de lei”. Este de fapt o tentativa de furt

										Stind azi de vorba in pauza de  cafea si tigara am ajuns sa definim evolutia internetului in Romania in cit mai putine cuvinte. Din punct de vedere personal arata asa:


Fidonet – modemuri , de la rusi vine ploaia ( de informatii ) , “iar ai stat pe telefon toata noaptea”
Cablul galben si deschiderea catre Viena – cola , cafea , carpati , nopti cu nasul in multe .asm / .c -uri , fascinatia SunOs

Aplicatii si servicii dezvoltate cu TFM Linux

Mai interesant in schimb este din punctul utilizatorilor de vedere:

BBS-uri – oare a aparut de la rusi antivirusul ala nou ?
Sali de net – Mirc , CounterStrike , DeltaForce ( “ia-i glanda la fraier ca sta sa se bronzeze pe deal” )
Undernet IRC – ce mai agatam azi / moaaa ce retea de boti mi-am tras
P2P – emule , dc++ , ODC  – “fataaaaaa , am vazut aseara Sweet november de pe DeCeU si e bestiallll”
yahoo messenger – “fatoooo de ce-mi dai buzz la ora asta , nu vezi ca’s invizibila” ?
hi5.com – Iar la agatzat Vetoooo ?
torenti – unde e ultimul House ?
facebook.com , linkedIn – Marea migratie de pe hi5 . Cum ? N-ai facebook ? Nu existi.

Este foarte interesant cum a migrat populatia de pe un serviciu pe altul. Principalele motive ? Nevoia de informatie , nevoia de apropiere in conditiile in care contactele interumane incep sa fie limitate. Nevoia de a “cunoaste” rapid alte persoane, nevoia de a “vedea” filme, de a asculta muzica, nevoia de a socializa.
Si sintem in momentul facebook . Ce urmeaza ? Eu as paria pe un ceva care va oferi urmatoarele :

iluzia de a agata usor
iluzia  de a apartine unei comunitati ( gasca , whatever )
muzica si filme
stiri
recomandari cu locuri de mers ( party-uri , cinema-uri )
joculete adictive care sa tina omul linga calculator cind nu gaseste nimic mai bun de facut

										Incep sa taie din torente. Ca de obicei in apropierea sarbatorilor vine asa un val de entuziasm din partea autoritatior. E normal. In apropierea sarbatorilor apar foarte multe titluri noi si incearca cu mai mult sau mai putin succes sa limiteze pagubele. Iar ideile de a eluda legea sint multe. A aparut o noua tendinta. Se uploadeaza fisierele in format .flv sau mp4 ( desi .mp4 mai rar ) pe un server din rusia , china , taiwan samd si apoi site-ul principal contine doar referinta catre site-ul unde exista fizic fisierul . Tot pe site-ul pe care intra userul se adauga reclame din belsug iar rezultatul este o sursa de bani la limita legalitatii. Cine cistiga ? In primul rind cei a caror publicitate este afisata utilizatorilor. In al doilea rind detinatorul site-ului respectiv. Cine pierde ? Detinatorul de drepturi legale asupra productiei respective.

										1. How do I get the code?

1a. Where is the repository, and what type (cvs, svn…)?

1b. What branch/version should I check out?

1c. What external projects/libraries/etc. does it depend on, and how do I get them, and which versions of them do I need? (If allowed by the license, consider hosting a version with your source for one-stop shopping.)

1d. Ideally put this in a step-by-step “for dummies” set of instructions on your project’s web page. Or you could make available a script to run that does it all for you – but well-documented so I can figure out what the script is doing and why. Oh, and make sure it works for you if you follow it exactly on a virgin machine!

2. How do I build it?

2a. What language(s) is the source written in?

2b. What compiler(s)/build system(s) do I need, and where do I get them?

2c. Where are the makefile(s)/build files etc. and what does each of them build, exactly?

2d. See 1d.
3. How do I run/use it, and where is the target(s) (executable, shared lib, whatever…) that was built?
4. How can I get help if I need it?

4a. IRC chat is useful, but if most of the developers are on the other side of the world, it would be nice to also have a mailing list to which to post so I don’t have to stay up all night. Preferably a mailing list that allows attachments for error output or screenshots.

4b. Ideally your FAQ should actually be made up of questions people have actually asked, especially if they are asked frequently. FAQs rarely do this for some reason – I’ve often seen the same question asked over and over in help forums, and never answered.

4c. Answer the questions people are asking. Even if the answer is “if you can’t figure this out, you don’t belong here” – try to phrase that as nicely as you can.
5. What is your process for managing versions and how/when they are changed in your repository?

5a. If you allow checkins of incomplete code, how do I know if I’ve found a real bug that I should fix, versus something that will be “fixed” when the person working on the feature checks in the rest of it?
