1 - Lucy: Lucy tem mais de três milhões de anos e foi descoberta em 1974 na Etiópia. É um dos esqueletos mais completos dos primeiros hominídeos já encontrados no planeta. Ela é muito importante não apenas por sua idade e completude, mas pelo fato de seus joelhos nos mostrarem que ela andava ereta.

2 - Willamette Meteorite: A colossal rocha espacial de 15,5 toneladas Willamette Meteorito viajou a quase 40.000 MPH até a Terra, aterrizando entre o Canada e Montana, EUA. Em um tempo onde nao existia televisao ou internet era atravez de museus que o publico em geral se interava do que existia no planeta. Os dioramas do museu datam do inicio dos anos 1900. Reconstroem em uma espécie de vitrine prensada a vaco o habit de varias especies de todo o planeta recriando ali detalhadamente o ambiente do animal com terra, árvores, arbustos, pedras e pintura do visual local.

4 - T-Rex: O T-Rex em exibição no museu esta ali por mais de um século. Foi descoberto num local chamado de Big Dry Creek, Montana, pelo paleontólogo Barnum Brown. Esse dinossauro foi descoberto no ano de 1908 e, ainda hoje, encanta os visitantes pela sua grandesa.

6 - Sequóia Gigante: Se você um dia tiver a oportunidade de visitar a floresta das árvores gigantes, floresta das Sequoias, garanto que será super impactante. What you can't miss in this museum:

1 - Lucy: Lucy is more than three million years old and was discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia. It is one of the most complete skeletons of early hominids ever found on the planet. Dica para o passeio até a ilha da estátua é sempre pegar o ingresso oficial. Existem alguns ingressos sendo vendidos na praça Battery Park, onde se concentra a saída da balsa oficial até a ilha. Porem o único ingresso que te autoriza a descer na ilha da Estátua da Liberdade é vendido online no site oficial abaixo ou dentro do Forte Clinton, localizado no Battery Park mesmo. Vale a pena descer na ilha, apreciar a escultura feita por Bartholdi e conhecer um porco de sua história no museu do local.

• ela é verde por ter oxidado, originalmente é feita de cobre.

• Gustave Eiffel foi o engenheiro da parte interna da estátua.

Restaurante italiano mais sofisticado na região da Times Square, Patsys possui também um menu mais caro que os outros restaurantes acima. Patsys é um restaurante totalmente familiar e administrado pela mesma família que o criou em 1944. Foi fundado por Pasquale “Patsy” Scognamillo, e hoje seus descendentes ainda são os que cuidam da cozinha, com a ultima geração o chef Sal Scognamillo. Essa versão do Federal Hall acabou sendo demolida em 1812 devido a ataques de soldados britânicos que tinham a intenção de retomar a colônia.

Após algumas mudanças de cidade, a capital do país oficialmente passou a Washington em 1790. Hoje o Federal Hall é um museu com muita historia para mostrar sobre o inicio de uma nação. Nesse museu voce pode apreciar o escritório e pertences do primeiro presidente do país, uma ilustração da primeira parada de inauguração presidencial, maquetes dos vários formados do Federal Hall, entre outras curiosidades. O local também ja foi usado como a Alfândega dos EUA para o Porto de Nova York.

Em 1965 O edifício foi designado um marco da cidade pela Comissão de Preservação de Marcos da Cidade de Nova York.

Os quase 4 milhões de visitantes anuais do observatório do Empire State Building vão agora poder desfrutar de uma extensão com uma vista de 360 graus, avistando do rio Hudson ao rio East, no andar 102, último do observatório.

A reforma feita no observatório derrubou paredes e substituiu as janelas por enormes painéis de vidro do chão ao teto. O Natal mais famoso do país sem o brilho dos turistas. Nova York e Natal é sempre sinônimo de multidão, turistas de toda a parte do mundo se esbarrando, Quinta Ave lotada. No ano de 2019, nos meses da época do Holiday - entre o Thanksgiving e o Natal, foi estimado um público visitante na cidade de Nova York em quase 7 milhões de pessoas.

Ao longo dos anos, e com algumas discursões no meio, o bairro foi aderindo a ideia e se tornou um ponto turístico obrigatório durante o Holiday em Nova York.

Uma tradição não apenas de Nova York mas também mundial, a passagem de ano na Times square atrai milhares de pessoas que ficam horas a espera da contagem regressiva do final do ano e o Ball Drop. Em 2020, um ano diferente para todos, o réveillon na Times Square será restrito a transmissão da TV. This year 2020 is being different because of the existing Covid-19 pandemic. But that doesn't mean that New York cannot adapt, just like the rest of the planet, right?

With that in mind New York City tourist organizations are being creative and trying their hardest to take a little bit of the magic of the city's Christmas.

Museums have virtual tours for those who cannot travel to NYC. Radio City Rockettes has online events via Instagram and even the most famous Christmas tree in the US is virtual.

Let me explain it better.
