After going to the last (Capsule) trade show and seeing this collection by Cleveland designers Wrath Arcane, I knew it was going to be a huge hit. It’s been about 9 months since I’ve seen it, and it’s just as perfect as it was when I first saw it. Walking by the 86th street H&M last night, I noticed the window takeover of the Jimmy Choo collection. Not available for purchase yet, the gigantic display really upset me. This over advertised collection has taken on a life of its own, making me not want to be anywhere near H&M when it launches! Anyone agree?

My leather binge strikes again! Leather leggings are all the rage right now, and leave it up to the designers at Bess to make a pair worth every penny. Bess’ thigh tights are a cotton lycra pant with stretch lambskin leather, thigh high legs. The stretch stitching and seems at the knees make these leggings not only fashionable, but comfortable and resilient!

My poor Nikki Moose has been catching some heat from voters, judges, and even the host of the America’s Most Stylish Blogger competition for actually being creative and original. That was until guest judge Nicole Miller came along. Nicole gave our good friend Nikki some positive praise this week, when she took a vomit inducing, bubble gum pink skirt and dyed it into a chartreuse (?) colored head scarf. However, while the internationally recognized designer praised Miss. Nikki, the Mary Murphy reject host (please reference the show So You Think You Can Dance), Melissa Foss made sure the world new that Nikki apparently “broke the rules.” Wait, wait, wait! This is fashion, and last I checked there were no rules. If I could get an explanation as to what made up “‘i’ before ‘e’ except after ‘c’”rule she broke I would love to hear it.

It’s only week three and my annoyance, and downright nausea, levels for this producer determined “competition” are at an all time high. Call me bias (which I clearly am), but any one of those other cookie cutter looks (no offense to the other contestants, I wasn’t feeling it this week) shown this week could have been replaced by a boring screenshot from Gossip Girl. So unfortunately for Nikki, and all you other edgy fashion folk out there, it seems we have another “Attack of the Clones” situation on our hands.

Regardless, I can’t encourage you enough to get over to Stylist.com or Dirtyflaws.com to vote for Nikki, she deserves every last vote she gets.

PS. Rumor has it I have a certain Momma Moose reading these little rants I’ve been typing haha. I’d encourage you all to vote for her as America’s Most Stylish Blogger too, but unfortunately Stylist.com overlooked her application for the competition. Looks like she’ll just have to settle for Mom Of The Year instead…bummer!

Oh Gossip Girl, as if the entire concept of your show wasn’t corny enough you had to take it to a whole new level last night. I mean since they first announced there was going to be a threesome on the show we all knew it wasn’t going to be anyone we actually wanted to see (or imagine) in a threesome (I had money riding on Mr. Humphrey, Eric van der Woodsen, and Blair’s sketchy step father for upset of the year…I was wrong).

Moving on, as you can clearly tell from the pic above is was Vanessa, Olivia (played by Hilary Duff) and Dan who hooked up, and it was horrible to say the least. I would have rather seen Duff’s old cast from Lizzie McGuire get down. This was clearly just a charity case plot twist added to the script late after Penn Badgely realized he had the most boring storyline of the season and some how managed to go from knocking boots with smoking hot Serena, to chubby chasing on a permanently bloated Hilary Duff. Can they just get her off the show already?

Oh and who else noticed the shameless plug for Leighton Meester’s bullshit music career? Talk about desperate attempt for press! Take the episode with the (shitty) threesome and let’s put my prison baby attempt at a Lady Gaga song in it, it’ll cause my music career to really take off!

And they wonder why no one watches this show anymore.

All I have to say is WOW!

Talk about a brand that’s blowing the fuck up right now! Complex Geometries seems to be an invincible right now!They’re upcoming Spring collection is huge, and every piece is better than the last. The women’s metallics are a step in a new direction from their usual black and white pieces, but the added color really makes the look stand out. The men’s pieces aren’t for the every day male, but they are  are still in the realistic realm. I’m pleased to see someone keeping fashion interesting!

I’m absolutely in love with both of these looks. Fall is the best season for the east coast, cause it means LOTS of layering. Cowel-neck sweaters are really in this fall, and check out the girl on the right’s collar necklace..awesome!  I’ve been seeing a lot of the double-layered high waist skirts in stores this season, but haven’t dared to try one yet..it works for her, I may need to hit the stores later today!

My friends at Diesel were nice enough to send me a pair of the Diesel Matic Flash For Fun skinny jeans. Not only do the jeans fit like a glove, they have a checkerboard florescent pattern around the ankles that looks incredible under a black-light. Although I haven’t be able to rock these jeans at Tenjune or 1OAK just yet, the black-light in my apartment helped me keep the rager going at home! Thanks Diesel!
