“There are certain limitations to my career because I’m based here,” she tells Ladies Home Journal. “And that’s cool. Keith has enormous ambitions, which I support. His tours and albums are much bigger than what I’m doing right now.”

The two also own homes in Los Angeles and Australia, but spend most of their time at their farm just outside Nashville.

“Even when I was was living like a gypsy, running from movie to movie, living out of a suitcase, I think I always had a dream of this family life, a vision of it in the future.” she says.

“Ween you’re happy, I think you can live anywhere.” Not that Nicole has given up acting altogether-her new movie, the ensemble musical “Nine”, opens in a limited release December18 and more widely the following week. Keith, Nicolle and daughter Sunday Rose will spend Christmas with family in Australia, where Kieth is touring this month.

The ‘8 Mile’ actress reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles home this morning (20.12.09) but emergency services were unable to revive her, reports gossip website TMZ.

The 32year-old actress – who was married to screenwriter Simon Monjack – was taken to the city’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to reports, the ‘Clueless’ star was discovered unconscious in the shower at around 8am by her mother, who made the call to emergency services.

Los Angeles’ county coroner confirmed: “We do have a preliminary death report of a Brittany Murphy” coming from Cedars-Sinai.”

Shortly after the news was announced, Brittany’s ex-boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher paid tribute to her on twitter.

He tweeted: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon.

“See you on the other side kid. (sic)”

Peaches Geldof was among other stars paying tribute on the social networking website.

She wrote: “Rip Brittany Murphy- you were my fave in Clueless, and you were also awesome in 8 Mile…(sic)”

Khloe Kardashian also offered her condolences, tweeting: “This is horrible news when anyone passes. I’m so sorry for her family. Send prayers out please! (sic)”

The publication asked the country crooner if her song “Cowboy Casanova” was about Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Romo, who had a very public breakup this year with another performer, Jessica Simpson.  Underwood responded, saying, “No. I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit.”
The former “American Idol” contestant also offered her opinion about the outspoken reality show judge Simon Cowell, saying “Simon’s obviously very smart. But he’s not the smartest person I know.”
As for Underwood’s overnight fame, she says there was “no handbook” to prepare her for what was to come. “As you step off that stage, you’re pretty much alone,” she tells Esquire. “I’ve learned the most throughout my life from age 22 till now.”

“The original books are filled with adventure and twists and turns and incredibly dark criminals in a dark and exciting London,” Jude said. “Watson would be more like the old fashioned pugilist boxer, trained probably by the military, and Holmes would have acquired a different group of martial arts perhaps from his studies around the world, and that kept it exciting, kept it fresh every time we had a new fight — and then by the end it just got down and dirty.”
So down and dirty, in fact, that Robert required stitches. “We had some big fight sequence in a shipyard,” explains Robert. “I think we had done too many moves in a row, (my opponent’s) supposed to come up on top, and I’m supposed to block, whatever — anyway, I got some stitches.” He adds that he dished out a bit of pain himself, though not intentionally.
“Guy Ritchie told me to keep hitting him and hitting him harder until I just said, ‘I won’t do it, I won’t do this again.’ And the guy’s swelling up and he says, ‘I’m alright, son,’ and I said, ‘I know you’re alright, but I don’t feel good about it.’ I don’t want just a license to ill. … I should probably send him a bottle of wine or something.”
“I wasn’t that shocked (to hear that Robert got stitches) because he gives so much, like he goes 110 percent,” says Rachel McAdams. “When I heard he got punched in the face I thought he probably asked for it: ‘That doesn’t look real, punch me again.’”
In between fights and other scenes, Rachel reports that Robert spent some lunch breaks entertaining the crew with his Lincoln Osiris character from ‘Tropic Thunder.’
“It’s quite amazing to watch actually,” she says. “He would flip into his character in ‘Tropic Thunder,’ but he’s as Sherlock Holmes, and then the Australian underneath. We were just cracking up, he was so good at it. He can do anything.”
“Yes, I entertained the troops; I was a one-man USO,” confirms Robert. “Lunch time was a crazy time.”
Robert adds that the American and British crews complemented each other well. “I think the British contingency of the film was really demonstrative to us of the civilized, proper and enjoyable way to make a film on their turf. And then I think a couple of us yanks brought a bit of fun and naturalism and not taking ourselves too seriously in it as well, and I think it was just a really nice allied invasion.”

“There’s more of people with different agendas,” Skarsgard – who had a breakout season as his not-always-bad boy vampire Eric emerged as a contender for Sookie Stackhouse’s heart and soul. “Sam’s got his stuff to deal with, his background and who he is, trying to figure that out. There might be some more tension between the vampire kingdoms and queendoms and they might introduce other creatures than just vampires.”

“There’s a lot of new characters that will be introduced,” confirms Wesley. “We’ve got some werewolves that are coming in. Everyone is back now, so it’ll be interesting to see how Tara deals with everything that happens with the last season. She’s got a lot grieving she has to do, but I have a feeling that someone’s going to come in and sweep her off of her feet.

Then we’ve got Sookie there to help her out as well. They’re making a lot of people the focus. That’s the one thing that I love about being on the show – that it’s truly an ensemble. All of us have really good and meaty stuff to work on.”

Skarsgard said that Eric’s ancient history is going to be further explored during the season as well. “In Season 2 there was a flashback. We see when Eric was a Viking, and there will be another flashback. We’ll see Eric and someone else as a tag team – I don’t want to reveal from what era, but it’s a couple of really fun scenes.”

“It’s amazing because he’s been around for a thousand years and lived all over the world, so you can put him in any situation in any country,” said Skarsgard. “I want more of the stuff from his earlier days when he was in Scandinavia, during the Viking days. I’d love that because you don’t see much of that in movies or on television from that era – and obviously because I’m from Sweden I’m quite fascinated by it. It’s my heritage, that culture with the Vikings, and so hopefully we’ll get to see a little more of that.”

There are also some guest stars waiting in the wings: Wesley said she’s heard that actor Don Swayze, brother of the late Patrick Swayze, will appear on the show, and Skarsgard says there’s a well-known name who just might be making a visit to Bon Temps. “There’s one that I’m hoping we can get towards the end of Season 3,” he revealed. “It’s not official yet and something I’m pretty excited about – someone that I’d very, very much enjoy working with.”

CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves said, “We still have his upcoming movie!”—referring to “The Back-Up Plan”, the feature film from the network’s new movie division, CBS Films.

In the romantic comedy, Jennifer Lopez plays a baby-mama wannabe who meets Mr. Right (O’Loughlin) after becoming impregnated with the help of a sperm bank. That’s a bit of a drag, given that O’Loughlin’s character would’ve been one hot biological papa.

“Alex spends almost half of the movie with his shirt off,” says Moonves, with a wide smile. “I mean, I’m a straight man, but even I…? You know…?”

As for putting O’Loughlin back on the small screen, Moonves half-jokingly says, “I don’t know, should we bring Moonlighting back?” (O’Loughlin’s short-lived vampire drama was actually called “Moonlight”, but who are we to correct a network head?)

Why not? Moonlight was exciting and vampire series are the new fan rage.

In the end, Moonves offers some assurance that Australian native O’Loughlin won’t be shipped back to Oz any time soon. “He’s in the family,” Moonves says.

The show will also feature performances from Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Michael Franti, plus celebrity guests who will present inspirational stories about adoptive families.

Faith herself was adopted as a baby and reunited with her birth mother in the early 1990s.

“My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards,” Taylor says.

The song was written by Keith Burns and Mark Oliverius, and features a guest appearance by Cowboy Troy. “This was a twofold ‘event’ for us,” says Keith. “To be invited to the Cowboys Stadium to film their anthem and to be surrounded by all those beautiful cheerleaders, and all on my birthday! I couldn’t think of a better way to sped it!”

Burns & Poe includes former Trick Pony member Keith alongside onetime Dierks Bentley bass player and solo artist Michelle Poe.
