Hey all! Warhammer Online is back, but before you go slay some stunties read over my post, remember I will be posting a Weekly Update(WU-) every week, just to inform you of whats going on with me.

I have always been interested in writing, but never really showed any direction. So as of now I am writing a fictional piece about a war on another planet, during an altered medieval setting, where two different species evolved into intelligence but didn’t know the other species existed until the dawn of water-travel.
Here is a short prologue for the beginning of the story:

Prologue:
For centuries we have waged war, our planet has become a battlefield with our two distinct species, the Khazenites (k-zuh-nights) and the Morlhians (more-lee-ons) we both evolved into intelligent around the same time as the other, but were unaware that the others existed until of course, sea travel was possible.

In our world peace, is not an option, for being unaware of the others existence for nearly six-hundred years, both sides had come up with different views on religion, politics and everything else that contributed to society. War would be the fate of both of our species.

Downtime! As of today around noon Mythic Entertainment the minds behind Warhammer Online are experiencing server problems, not only with Warhammer, all of their websites, as well as their other MMORPG Dark Age Of Camelot seem to be offline. According to Mythic, Verizon their ISP is responsible for the problems, recording it as a “DNS issue”.

Errors such as “pather.prod.sig” and “cannot load file warpatch.bin” are caused by this DNS problem.

The fan responses have been entertaining anyway

“Sigh, this is kinda killin my day off. Hopefully Verizon gets their waffles togethor soon”

As a result the games will not start, and Mythic cannot release updates via website.
Please check here over the next few hours, as I will update when the game servers are back online.

Mythic responded with an update earlier this evening
“Update – 7:15PM EDT: Verizon is making continue efforts to restore service. This issue is widespread and impacts much of the region where our data centers are held. They continue to work to res
olve the issue as quickly as possible; however, there is sitll no ETA at this time. Your continued patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated as we enter the evening hours. Please stay tuned for the next update before or around 9:00PM EDT, thank you.”

Possible Wolf for apology
Update – 8PM EDT: A mythic forum rep recently posted saying “Chillout, eat some cheesecake, and wait for the wolf who will be coming directly” I for one think it would be worth it if I got a wolf.

Mythic responded with another update
“Update – 9:00PM EDT: Verizon has identified the cause of the problem; however, locating the source will continue to take additional time after which they will need to repair or replace the faulty hardware. We continue to have no ETA as of this update. The next update will be before or around 11PM EDT, thank you again for your continued cooperation and patience.”

WAR IS NOW ONLINE FIXED AT 10PM EDT
