Ein Blick ins Heft stimmt dann deutlich hoffnungsvoller, als der Titel nahelegt: von der Haufe-Gruppe, die versucht zu leben, was sie in ihren Seminaren vermitteln, über die bevorzugte Besetzung von Führungspositionen aus den eigenen Reihen bei BMW bis hin zu Spotify, einem Unternehmen, bei dem die Entscheidungswege unklar sind, das aber trotzdem funktioniert (wenn man die richtigen Leute hat). Lauter Geschichten, die zeigen, wie vielfältig erfolgreiche Führung sein kann. Patentrezepte? Fehlanzeige. Ab 19:00 Uhr berichtet er über Inhalte und Entstehungsgeschichte des Buchs “Management Y”: warum dieses Buch geschrieben wurde, worum es bei “Management Y” geht, was über das Buch hinaus zu diesem Thema veranstaltet wird, und was das Autorenteam beim Schreiben des Buchs über verteiltes kollaboratives Arbeiten gelernt hat.</p>

		<p>Die <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/" target="_blank">Ausgabe 09/2014</a> des Wirtschaftsmagazins <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/" target="_blank">brand eins</a> hat das Schwerpunktthema &#8222;Arbeit&#8220;. Die Bandbreite der Themen reicht vom <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/thalia-theater-joachim-lux-ludwig-von-otting-jette-steckel-die-gegen-spieler/" target="_blank">Miteinander von Künstlern und Angestellten</a> im Hamburger Thalia-Theater über die Rolle von Arbeit in verschiedenen Kulturen und Einblicken in die Welt des <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/dienstleistungsproletariat-einfache-dienstleistungen-interview-mit-philipp-staab-die-unsichtbaren/" target="_blank">Dienstleistungsproletariats</a> bis hin zur Welt der <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/neet-japanische-arbeitswelt-die-revolution-der-schaefer/" target="_blank">jungen Arbeitsverweigerer</a> in Japan.</p>
<p>Gut gefallen hat mir das <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/interview-mit-karriereberaterin-svenja-hofert-das-halbe-leben/" target="_blank">Interview mit der Karriereberaterin Svenja Hofert</a>, die in ihrer Beratungspraxis nur selten Menschen begegnet, die Douglas McGregor seiner Theorie Y zuordnen würde (selbstbestimmt, sinnorientiert, intrinsisch motiviert). Sie hält die schöne neue Arbeitswelt für ein theoretisches Konstrukt. Das widerspricht unserer Erfahrung und ist schon deshalb lesenswert. Dass Arbeit tatsächlich anders organisiert werden kann, um Unternehmenserfolg und Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit in Einklang zu bringen, zeigen die Berichte von <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/emundo-demokratische-firma-ganz-entspannt-im-haifischbecken/" target="_blank">eMundo</a> und <a href="http://www.brandeins.de/archiv/2014/arbeit/it-agile-softwareentwicklung-demokratische-firma-cool-und-beaengstigend/" target="_blank">it-agile</a>. Was lernen wir aus diesem scheinbaren Widerspruch? Die Beobachtungen sind immer abhängig von der Perspektive und dem betrachteten Ausschnitt der Realität. Deshalb laden wir in unserem Buch zum Perspektivwechsel ein – und der kann unter anderem darin bestehen, diese Ausgabe der brand eins zu lesen.</p>
