Will Net Nanny email reports to me?

Net Nanny does not email reports, however you can access reports from anywhere through the Remote Management Console. To access Reports Remotely, login to the Remote Management Console at http://manage.netnanny.com using your Net Nanny Administrator email address and password to login. Before reports are remotely available they must first be enabled. Under Additional Settings for each Net Nanny user check the box next to âAllow Remote Viewing of Reportsâ.Â Once this is selected you should start seeing data within 1 to 2 hours.

Net Nanny can be configured to send âEmail Notificationsâ.Â This enables you to get an email in Real Time, daily or weekly when a website is Blocked or Warned. Alerts can also tell you when someone has been able to requested access to a specific website or overridden a block.

Access to configure âEmail Notificationsâ can be found by double clicking the Net Nanny icon in the bottom right hand corner of desktop and logging in with your Net Nanny Administrator username and password.

I am trying to reinstall Net Nanny and I am getting âInvalid Email and Passwordâ during installation, why?

There are many reasons you could be getting this error message. The most common reason this message appears is that you are trying to use the email address and password you used to purchase Net Nanny instead of the Administrator username and password you created the first time you installed it.

The ecommerce account you created when purchasing the Net Nanny software is exclusively used for managing your registration number and billing, the Administrator accounted created while installing Net Nanny should be used for reinstalling and administering the program.

If you need to reset either password visit http://www.netnanny.com and click the âLoginâ box toward to upper right hand corner. Select the account you wish to reset and click âForgot Passwordâ. Enter the email address associated with your account then click submit. An email will be sent to your account with a link to reset your password.

What is "No Hassle Billing" and how can I confirm that my account has No Hassle Billing disabled or enabled?

No hassle billing is a service Net Nanny provides to automatically renew your Net Nanny license subscription. This service helps ensure that your computer and family are always protected. You can see if your account has this feature enabled or disabled by going to http://www.netnanny.com and clicking the âLoginâ button at the top right part of the page. Leave the radio button set to âManage My Account, Downloads, Renewals, Add Seats and Billingâ. Enter the email address and password you established when you purchased Net Nanny and click âLog Inâ. This page will display your registration number and provide a link to download the Net Nanny software.

If no hassle billing is disabled, you will see a button at the bottom of the Subscription Products box that says Enable No Hassle Billing â This means that no hassle billing is Disabled and that your license and will not auto renew.

If you do not see the Silver tab you can click on the blue link within the box that states, âTurn off No Hassle Billing or Update credit card detailsâ.Â Clicking this box will give you the option to cancel âNo Hassle Billingâ.Â After clicking this, verify that the button at the bottom is labeled Enable No Hassle Billing.

How do I uninstall and reinstall Net Nanny?

If you choose to uninstall Net Nanny you can do so by first going Control Panel on the computer you wish to uninstall Net Nanny, then select Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features, select Net Nanny and then select âUninstall or Removeâ.

Note: You will be prompted for the âuninstallâ or Net Nanny Administrator password to uninstall Net Nanny. Without this password you will be unable to remove the Net Nanny application.

After the software is remove you will need to reboot and make sure your firewall and anti-spyware /anti-virus and e-mail scanning software programs are disabled before reinstalling Net Nanny.

Where do I find my registration number and/or download?
