Our Goal

   To provide the students, staff and visitors a safe, clean and well maintained learning environment.

The Buildings and Grounds department is in charge maintaining 4 Schools, 1 Technology Building, 1 Administration Building and 4 Storage Buildings consisting of the following:

• 158 Classrooms
• 2 Full Gyms
• 4 Locker rooms
• 2 Auditoriums
• 4 Kitchens
• 2 All Purpose Rooms
• 2 Playgrounds
• 3 Play fields
• 8 Tennis courts
• 7 Sports fields
• 4 Storage Buildings

All of this totaling over 365,000 square feet of building space and about 70 acres of ground.

We are responsible for providing support services to all the district sites which includes not only maintenance and repair but also cleaning, grounds upkeep, event setups, animal control, vehicle upkeep for the districts trucks busses and grounds equipment, sports setups, lunch and supply deliveries to the buildings and security. We have an experienced staff of 29 full time and 10 part time employees who keep the district operating in most buildings 18 hours a day and in some 6 days a week. The buildings are used not only by our own students and staff but also the community for a variety of events both inside and out.
