    Gruden is absolutely right. Newer is not always better. It can be better, but it has to be easy to use, reliable and proven in the real world.

    My Whirlpool fridge is broken for like the 8th time in the last 2 years. I am convinced engineers come up with low tolerance designs and then they are assembled with inferior parts so save $ and so they fail at an average rate. No incentive to make a product that works and lasts.

    I think they would be stupid not to keep training camp in NorCal. Napa is great, although a larger NorCal venue would allow them to invite more fans.

    Not sure where the Raiders will hold training camp when they move to Las Vegas but it’s currently 115 degrees in sin city.

    Raiders designate G/T Vadal Alexander as Reserve/Did Not Report. He and DE Khalil Mack both absent from camp's start. Alexander was suspended four games on May 1 for violating league's PED policy. Still permitted to practice, play in exhibitions.
