A judgment is not like a regular debt. In some cases, the defendant lacks the funds to pay the debt in full, so we make arrangements to accept voluntary payments.  We submit statements and maintain the accounts.  The debtors are made aware the legal judgments don’t just go away and that they affect their credit until they are satisfied.  It is in their best interest to get the debt cleared. If the payments stop for any reason, we resume the legal remedies as needed to get the payments back on track.  Payments are made to the creditors as required by Idaho law within 30 days of the close of the calendar month in which the debtor payment was made.  Creditors should call our office if questions arise regarding a specific judgment collection.
