Do you want your readers to be able to read your blog on their mobile devices?

1. Log in to Blogger In Draft http://draft.blogger.com/home(use the same log in info as you would on blogger.com)2. Click on Settings

3. Click on the Mobile & Email tab

4. Where it says “Show mobile template” you want to select “Yes, On mobile devices, show the mobile version of my template”

5. If you like you want click on “mobile preview” to see what it would look like on a mobile device

6. Click save and you’re done.

I have been working on a great new product for the past couple of weeks and I am so excited to finally let you all in on what I have been working on. I have decided that I am going to be making premade templates for Blogger blogs. These templates will be customized with your blog name and tag line on them. They will all be 2 columns but I can’t change the number or columns for you for a different price.

The base price is going to be $10 and then if you want the columns changed it will be a extra $5. Here is the first one that I have done. So if you wanted to buy this design I would go in and add your blog name and tagline. I also can change the number of columns for you for $5. I am also willing to make social icons to match and/or a blog button.

So the price for this design is $10!!!! You can’t beat that price for a design that would ready to install in 1 day!

Tutorial-Adding Pictures To Your Sidebar

***I got asked on if it the steps are the same for uploading a pdf and as far as I can see the would be the same steps except the last step would be different. I will update this post again once I find the code you would use to PDF’s on your sidebar.

This is a tutorial for people who use wordpress.org because it is a little bit different to add pictures to their sidebars. I am going to show how to use your own server to host the pictures but you can also use Photobucket as well.

You are going to login into your blog and click on Media & then Add New
Once you click on add new you will see the same screen you get when you add pictures in your posts:
After you upload the picture you are going to grab the link to the picture for here:
You will the plug that url into this coding:
You then take that code and put it in the “text” widget on your sidebar.

Please let me know if you need more help or if something doesn’t make sense!

Linky Followers

I was reading blogs last night and I can across a great new way to follow blogs it is called “Linky Followers” I have added the widget to my sidebar right above the GFC one. I would recommend everyone following me using the new one and that way you won’t miss out on any of my post once they do away with GFC. It was super easy to set up and easy to install. Here is what the widget looks like:

As most of you know in March GFC is going to be going away for all blogs that aren’t using Blogger. Since I am now self hosted my posts won’t show up in bloggers reader and Google Reader (at least I assume it won’t update in Google Reader). A group of us decided that we are all going to post today and make sure that everyone will subscribe in another way so that you won’t miss any of our posts. If you are also a wordpress blogger feel free to grab the button and put it on your blog along with the links to all the different ways they can subscribe so that no one will miss any posts. I can’t believe how long it has been since I have posted on this site. Life has been super crazy for me in the past few months. I am hoping to have a ton of freebies posted in the next few weeks and I also would love to know what kind of freebies you would like to see? I have a few designs that I need to upload as well so keep your eyes open for that!
