Steve Ornstein of Edge Floral, Marc Wilner, Angel Santiago and Chuck Kahanov organize and produce over-the-top event for event producers, hoteliers and vendors last night at Tony & Joe’s. DJ Chaos kept the music coming all night, joined by legendary vocalist Prince Havely and even live drums added by our own Marc Wilner. Tony and Joe’s put out and incredible spread for all to enjoy as well.

The band performed three events in 48 hours, traveling over 850 miles,  including one in High Point, North Carolina. The band, led by Keyboardist John Hall, Singers Travis Tucker, Iggy Washington, and [...]]]> Rock n Roll Superstars MILLENNIUM, One of Washington Talents premier bands, will be telling stories about this weekend for years to come.

The band performed three events in 48 hours, traveling over 850 miles,  including one in High Point, North Carolina. The band, led by Keyboardist John Hall, Singers Travis Tucker, Iggy Washington, and Julie Humphries along with Drummer John Thomakos, Guitarist Zach Dupy and Bass Chris Mortera had to secure a RV and driver so they could rest and travel between the events, including one on the eastern shore.

Well, Hannah’s Bat Mitzvah was as AMAZING as you promised it to be… THANK YOU!

You were so wonderful to work with – you had great advice, were always responsive (and patient) with whatever questions I had, and just had an all-around positive attitude every step of the way.  Looking forward to doing this all over again for my son, whose Bar Mitzvah is May 30, 2015!!

MC CHAD was PERFECT- we all LOVED him and are thrilled and excited for him to work with us again for Ethan. (You were right!!!) The montage was AMAZING!  Tons of compliments – couldn’t have been better – and wouldn’t have wanted anything different.

The Green Screen was fun for all – the technicians that worked it were great – polite, efficient, and went out of their way to make sure our wants and needs were met.

The videographer from LarMar was excellent.  Thank you for adding that for us last minute.  It was exactly what we were looking for!

Every aspect that came from Washington Talent was flawless!

Hiring Onyx was the best decision I made during the entire wedding-planning process,and any bride knows that is saying a lot seeing as there are TONS of decisions to make.They were amazing.

So high-energy the entire time, they really kept the dance floor packed. I am amazed that they were able to play for that long without taking a break. And they interacted with the crowd in a way that was fun! I received so many compliments, and too many people to count said Onyx was the best wedding band they had ever seen. And I think it’s a true testament to how great they were that my friends who are getting married next year wanted to hire them on the spot (I saw them talking to the band at the end of the ceremony)! I really cannot praise them enough. They even learned a new song for me and performed it flawlessly. David was also incredibly helpful during the planning process, and made great suggestions on the flow of the evening.

They truly made my whole wedding and were worth every single penny.

He was personable and had a great sense of humor and we knew he would be a great addition to our wedding planning process. He genuinely cared about our needs and the specific details of our event. He willingly agreed to meet with us two weeks before the wedding to iron out any last-minute details which helped a lot with our peace of mind. At our reception at The Westfields Marriott, Marc Showed up on time, was dressed professionally, and threw a great party for all of our guests. The dance floor was never empty! Marc also played a role in assisting us with some surprises for our family to include a surprise mother daughter dance. We provided him with specific songs that we wanted to play at the reception and he did a great job with making sure they all were played. He also was able to read the crowd and make appropriate song selections based on the energy and vibe of the dance floor. My husband and I have nothing negative to say about him and would recommend his services to anyone who wanted to have a fun and energy filled reception! Washington Talent as a whole was easy to work with and we had no trouble processing payment.

The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to stop seizures and SUDEP, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy and research to accelerate ideas into therapies.

Forty (47) amazing teens from across the country came to DC to “speak up and speak out” to their elected officials about the issues facing our country pertaining to the 1 out of 26 people in the US who suffer from Epilepsy. In conjunction with the Epilepsy Walk in DC on Saturday, this three day event Sunday thru Tuesday was captured by Photographer’s Jack Hartzman and Mike Thompson from Washington Photo and joined by WTA’s DJ Doug on Monday evening. The kids love Doug’s energy, give-a-ways and of course… Simon Sez! Washington Photo also provided and a 4×6 photo station, shot with video lights instead of strobes, as to protect the kids even further. The multi-media show below was created by Jack Hartzman and shown to the teens, their parents and the EFA staff before the journey to Capitol Hill this morning.

They say 2’s a charm and I believe it!  Saturday night was a huge success, fabulous celebration and a perfect evening thanks to each and every one of you and your teams.  The Fechter family had another wonderful celebration and I even think this one may have been more fun than the last one (if that’s possible).

Angel:                   You take what you do to heart and it shows in your commitment to your team, our team and the client.  This is why I love working with you and know that you will always be sure to do whatever it takes to make for a truly successful event.  Thanks to you, Chaos, Andrew, Happy Feet, Eric and the rest of the WTA team for the energy, perfect lighting (Andrew not sure what else you think you could have done) and fun photobooth (Vince was great).

Jeff:                       The montage was just what they wanted and I appreciate you and your editor taking the time to make the necessary changes.  Sometimes ideas are better in thought than in actuality.  I still think that one day technology will allow us to create a very cool black and white montage.  We shall see.

Eileen:                  YUMMY!  You all did the family style so well and French servicing the proteins was key. Thank you for working with me to make this happen.  The food was delicious and your staff is always so nice to work with.  Thanks for my “to go”.  Not having to cook last night was huge!  I love working with you and appreciate your caring every step of the way.

Julie and Paige: It was so gorgeous!  The drape, the backdrop with the photos, the custom made tables (I love being first!), the banners.  It was simple and elegant and it’s good to let people know that I can actually do organic. LOL!  Members of the congregation couldn’t stop complimenting the space. They couldn’t believe it was the same room.  I really appreciate you all getting me staging.  (Damn Diane)

Bill:         The trees were incredible and the candlelighting was absolutely gorgeous.  We learned that those wicks in oil need to be pre-lit to light easier.  Good to know for the future. Thanks for making the canopy effect.  It was the focal point of the room and it created the most warm and inviting atmosphere.

Erin:       Color wars was a huge hit!  It’s something to do again. It really made for a fun time for the kids.  Although not sure we should have the stilt activity. The Bar Mitzvah boy went down in a domino effect and bashed his elbow.

Davis:    George and the guys did a great job! Tent went up fast and the rain stayed away. Thanks to my own personal Al Roker (thanks Thy!).

Hi Lance!

I just wanted to thank you again for doing such a wonderful job for Sarah’s Bat Mitzvah. 

Both the kids and adults had a great time.  Sarah loved being the center of attention and enjoyed all of the fun games, the trivia game, line dances and all of the great music that was selected just for her special day.  The dancers were energetic and personable.  They went above and beyond their job–in fact, one of them even helped Sarah pin her dress when she had a wardrobe malfunction!!  You played a great variety of music that appealed to all ages.  Your tech guy (I’m so sorry I forgot his name because he was awesome,too) was also really good–and personable.  I especially appreciated your organization and attention to detail.  I’m so glad we went with your itinerary!  You were right about the eating times.  Everything worked out so well!!  Thanks SO MUCH for a job well done.  It’s so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the party without worrying about the sequence of events or whether or not the kids are going to be entertained or the adults will enjoy themselves.

Jack Hartzman, Monica Vidal and the team at Washington Photo will be at several [...]]]> January 21st the worlds eyes will be focused on Washington, D.C. for President Obama’s Inauguration and the Inaugural Balls that follow. Many at WTA will be performing at events throughout the city as they have done many times prior.

Jack Hartzman, Monica Vidal and the team at Washington Photo will be at several event Sunday and Monday as a part of their 6th Inauguration. Sunday’s main event is a kick off for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Monday’s events include the Inaugural Parade, events for Time Warner and the Environmental & Clean Energy Ball at Sequoia Restaurant in Georgetown to name a few.

Some of our top bands including ONYX, Spectrum and Prime Time will be performing at events in locations from The Omni Shoreham to the Hyatt Fair Lakes.
