Are you feeling recharged yet?

I hope you all are faring well during the shelter-in-place order. I must admit it has been quite refreshing to catch up on some much-needed rest and relaxation, spring cleaning, and other personal business matters.

While some of you are home with the kids you may feel like you're experiencing cabin fever. But, I've noticed many of my neighbors are taking advantage of the beautiful weather by going on family strolls throughout the day. Getting outside for some fresh air (even if in your backyard or patio) can feel quite refreshing.

So the BIG question is are you truly taking advantage of the time that we have to do all the things we've wanted to but simply couldn't because of busy schedules? If not, I encourage you to experience the benefits of showing yourself some love. Many of us are lounging around in our comfy clothes and loving it! BUT, don't forget about self-care and maintenance. I hope you all are staying safe during our shelter-in-place mandate. I encourage you all to take this time to recharge your batteries, do a little spring cleaning, write in your journals, be creative (painting, DIY projects, try a new recipe, etc.), exercise and take some time to self-care.

While the salon is closed and we are all stuck at home, now is a great time to try at-home maintenance. I spend a lot of time in the salon talking to my clients about different ways to care for their hair between visits.
